D-Von Dudley Claims A Lot Of Young Talents Are Disrespectful And Rude

The discussion that stemmed from the recent comments of The Undertaker about the current generation of wrestlers is still going on and now D-Von Dudley has shared another interesting opinion about the new generation of stars.

The Attitude Era star recently appeared on the Table Talk podcast where he was interviewed along with former WWE star Fred Rosser aka Darren Young.

During the discussion, Dudley noted how Rosser is one of the great talents which isn’t always the case with the younger generation. According to D-Von, many of the young guys who are brought up in the business are disrespectful and rude:

“You’ve got to understand nowadays in this business the young guys that are brought up in this business, they’re disrespectful, they’re rude. Generation X, which is my generation, the Attitude Era, and all of that. Yes, we had attitude we had problems,

But there was one thing I will say about my generation is that we respect those who came before us.” said D-Von Dudley, “And that’s one of the problems that we have with a lot of young talent.”

The former champion did not name any talents who have been disrespectful to him but he did list some of the young guys who have respect for older talents.

D-Von Dudley said that people like Drew McIntyre, Rusev, and Sheamus always came in to pick their brains and it was great being in the locker room with them. You can check out the Hall Of Famer’s comment marked in the video below:

Stephanie McMahon On The Future Of Live Events

WWE’s Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon recently had an interview with TVinsider where she talked about things like the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV and more. Discussing how they announced the details of three upcoming WrestleManias together, the WWE official said that they wanted to give fans some hope during these challenging times.

When asked about the announcement of WrestleMania returning to the standard one night schedule from next year, Stephanie McMahon suggested that the decision is not permanent. She explained that their approach is to wait and watch what happens:

“We want to maximize the value. The two nights are unique to the times. [We have plans] to go back to one night for future WrestleMania events, but of course we will see what happens this year. We want to deliver the best possible value we can for our fans who are hopefully able to attend and for those watching all around the world.”

The coronavirus pandemic has forced the company to close its doors for the public and while fans will finally be returning for WrestleMania this year, a lot of people believe that the live event business will never be the same again.

Stephanie McMahon On The Future Of Live Events

The former Raw General Manager was also asked where she sees the future of live events going. Replying to the question, Stephanie McMahon explained that the fans are the secret sauce of their recipe:

“Our fans are our secret sauce. When we pivoted to the ThunderDome, we brought our fans back [virtually] as well as the lights, the lasers, the pyro. There is an intersection of technology and live attendance.

It happened faster than I think anyone anticipated, but we are absolutely looking to merge those worlds together the biggest and best way we possibly can. I know that our audience will be very vocal in telling us what they do and don’t like, which is certainly appreciated.”

Apart from this, Stephanie McMahon talked about things like filming the WrestleMania commercial with Triple H and more. You can check out her full interview at this link.

Possible Spoiler For Surprise Royal Rumble Entrant

A latest photo from Natalya might have spoiled a big surprise for the Royal Rumble PPV this Sunday and revealed an interesting entry for the women’s version of the battle royal.

The former SmackDown women’s champion recently posted a photo of herself with WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus and wrote that she ‘can’t wait for Sunday’.

However, Natalya quickly deleted the picture as seen in the screenshot below and her actions have started the rumors about Stratus possibly being one of the surprise entrants for the upcoming bout:

Trish Stratus was a part of the inaugural women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018 where she entered at #30 and was eliminated by the Boss Sasha Banks.

Though she did not participate in the next two Royal Rumble matches and her last wrestling appearance was during SummerSlam 2019 where she faced Charlotte Flair in a one on one match.

Trish Stratus is a WWE Hall Of Famer who was part of the company’s roster and wrestled as a full-time star from 2000 to 2006. During her active years, the female star won the women’s championship seven times.

She has been making sporadic appearances for the company since 2006 and an in-ring return for the former champion is not completely out of question.

Rey Mysterio Teases Surprise In His Ongoing Feud With King Corbin

Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik have recently been involved in a feud with King Corbin and the high flying star is now teasing a big surprise in this storyline.

The former world champion recently had an interview with Forbs where he talked about things like winning the Royal Rumble in 2006 and more.

Mysterio also discussed his son Dominik’s recent string of losses against rival Baron Corbin and the Master Of 619 teased a surprise for the storyline:

“I have a little surprise that eventually will pop up, I’m just waiting for the right time for that, and the whole SmackDown family will know…we do know that Corbin was a former Golden Gloves boxer, so we might go down that route.”

While Rey Mysterio did not elaborate further, there are a couple of interesting possibilities stemming from his comments about Corbin’s abilities as a striker.

The former champion has previously aligned himself with former UFC Fighter Cain Velasquez and Tyson Fury has also shown interest in returning to the company after his match with Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel 2019.

With the WrestleMania season about to begin, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if the company brings either of these two names back to boost the ratings and uses the Mysterio family’s ongoing storyline as the catalyst for it.

Paige Feels Goldberg Shouldn’t Be In The WWE Championship Match At Royal Rumble

A lot of people are not thrilled with WWE’s decision to bring back Goldberg as the opponent for Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble and it appears that Paige is one of the stars who thinks that the former WCW star should not be in the spot.

The former Diva’s Champion returned as one of the hosts for the special Royal Rumble edition of WWE Backstage alongside Renee Young and Booker T.

During the episode, the trio talked about the upcoming show, and while discussing the WWE title match featuring Drew McIntyre and Goldberg, Paige said that she feels like the former champion shouldn’t be in it:

“Honestly, like I’m a fan of Goldberg, right, I just don’t feel like he should be in this kinda thing. I think Drew has been having this massive buildup over the last year. He’s been completely carrying as the babyface of the company. I think he’s been doing so freaking well.”

Paige went on to explain how there are many people who have been waiting for such an opportunity for a long time and she feels that Goldberg should at least not be the one to win this Sunday:

“Then you’ve got people who have been there for a long time who want to have that opportunity and unfortunately, they’re not getting it. I just don’t feel like it’s needed and I don’t think he should be the one to, at least, win it.”

Goldberg will be challenging Drew McIntyre for his WWE Championship at Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV taking place from the Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL.

NJPW Confirms Date For Jon Moxley vs. Kenta

NJPW has confirmed that the IWGP US Champion Jon Moxley will be defending his title against the #1 contender Kenta on February 26 at New Beginning USA 2021. This announcement came after the former AEW world champion made his NJPW Strong debut earlier this week and confronted the Bullet Club member.

Kenta had been calling out Moxley for a while. The confrontation between the two finally took place during the main event segment of the show. Kenta, El Phantasmo, and Hikuleo were in the ring and the lights went out.

Mox was there when the lights came back and the US champion quickly got rid of El Phantasmo and Hikuleo so he can take on his challenger alone. The segment ended with the AEW star delivering a Death Rider to the NJPW star.

The company announced the details of their match alongside several other bouts for The New Beginning USA 2021 after this confrontation via the following tweet:

Jon Moxley won the IWGP United States Championship by defeating Lance Archer at Wrestle Kingdom 14. Kenta then became the #1 contender for the title when he won the New Japan Cup USA tournament in August last year.

Eric Bischoff Says DX Was A Copy Of nWo

The nWo faction created by former WCW president Eric Bischoff is one of the most well-known groups of not only the Attitude Era but the history of professional wrestling.

Its WWE counterpart was the D-Generation X group which became a household name during the peak of the Monday Night Wars era as well and the former WCW official claims that it was a rip off of his original idea.

Bischoff discussed the two groups during the latest episode of 83 weeks and claimed that DX was a copy of nWo: “It should be pretty obvious that it was,”

The former SmackDown Executive Director continued by making another interesting claim and he said that Shawn Michaels overplayed his part in the group while Triple seemed a lot more natural at it:

“It was entertaining as hell; they knocked it out of the park. I wasn’t a big fan of Shawn Michaels’ character in DX, he overplayed it, he tried too hard to be cute. Triple H to me seemed a lot more natural at it. He didn’t have to force it quite as hard, I think he was having a lot of fun with it. “

Eric Bischoff on DX and nWo

Eric Bischoff later said that he thinks that former Cruiserweight Champion Sean Waltman got the faction over more than Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

He explained his remarks by saying that Waltman brought a more edgy character and him leaving WCW to return to WWE and join the group made it feel more like the Monday Night War era.

What do you think about Eric Bischoff’s comments about the two factions? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

“I Do It With A Smile”: Goldberg Responds To Fans Complaining About His Victories Over Young Stars

Goldberg is one of the prime examples of WWE management’s favoritism of part time talents. The former WCW champion has scored dominating victories over many young talents since his return to the company in 2016. These booking decisions have led to a lot of people being critical of the former universal champion but he does not care about the opinion of the others.

The heavyweight star was recently interviewed by Ryan Satin of Fox Sports where he was asked about people’s complain of him being featured over younger stars. Replying to the question, Goldberg said that the fans can complain all they want. He claimed that he is a relief pitcher who is just doing his job:

“They can complain all they want. I was brought in for a reason. I’m a relief pitcher. I’d like to think that I’m the top-echelon relief pitcher, and if they didn’t think there was value in bringing in that relief pitcher to close out the game, then they wouldn’t call me. I don’t make the decisions. I just follow orders, and I go out and do my job.”

The former world champion continued by saying that he tries to do his job on to the best of his ability and while he may be far removed from his prime, he can still kick 98.9% of their asses.

Goldberg On Ending The Unstoppable Run Of The Fiend

Goldberg was then asked about his specific victory over The Fiend during the Super Showdown event in February 2020. Up until that point, the Fiend had been protected by the company. When asked how he feels about being the one to end his unstoppable run, the wrestling veteran said that he is just a service provider who does his job with a smile on his face:

“You know, again, at the end of the day, Ryan, I do a job, right? I’m asked to go out and perform, and I don’t pass judgment on it. I don’t worry about a finish. I don’t worry about who’s winning. I don’t worry about who’s losing.

At the end of the day, I’m there to provide a service, and I do it with a smile on my face either way. And I’m not a booker. I don’t make the decisions. I really don’t. I just come in and provide “that guy,” and the only thing I can do in a situation like that is be the best package that they remember.”

Apart from this, Goldberg was also asked about his upcoming match for the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. He said that McIntyre has paid his dues in the business but the question he is asking is whether he has paid enough. You can check out his full interview here.

Jim Ross On The Undertaker Calling Today’s Generation Soft

The Undertaker’s recent comments about the new generation of wrestling stars being soft have quickly turned into a debacle. Top stars like Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre have come into the defense of the current generation and dismissed the comments made by the Dead Man. Though there have also been people who have agreed with the Dead Man and Jim Ross has joined this list.

The veteran wrestling broadcaster shared his thoughts on the comments made by the former world champion during the latest episode of his Grilling JR podcast. Ross explained that Taker has a point when he says that wrestlers nowadays are soft, because they are brought into the business differently:

“Because they’re trained differently, they’re brought into the business differently, they’re not sitting in a car, they’re not making 25-40 bucks a night. It’s just a different ball game and Takers got a good point there.” said Jim Ross,

“Today’s wrestling getting chopped unmercifully to where your blood is rushing to the surface and bruising is already in affect, probably wouldn’t happen in today’s world because the offending person wouldn’t stand for it.”

Though Ross did mention how not all the changes are negative. He said that the COVID era of wrestling has been a ‘career extender’ for a lot of talent because they are not on road as much and are traveling less. He explained that in many aspects, the business is much better than it was just a few years ago.

Jim Ross is not the only person to address The Undertaker’s controversial remarks. You can see what Roman Reigns had to say about the issue at this link:

Bill Goldberg also took a stance on today’s generation being “soft” compared to his era:

Backstage Update On Lana’s Health

Some photos posted by Lana earlier this year had made fans worried about her health. The pics in which the female star was seen wearing a sling and brace had made people wonder if she was dealing with a legitimate injury.

However, the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided some update on her status. It confirms that the former NXT star is not legitimately injured and this is all part of her ongoing storyline.

Lana has been off WWE TV since the December 14 episode of Monday night Raw. She defeated Nia Jax in a bout during the show but was attacked by the former women’s champion afterwards.

Jax alongside her partner Shaynza Baszler had focused on the female star’s arm and leg during the attack until the Raw women’s champion Asuka made the save.

It was later reported that the whole angle was a set up for the return of Charlotte Flair who made her comeback during the TLC PPV. Flair took Lana’s place at the show. She teamed up with Asuka and defeated Jax and Baszler for the women’s tag team titles.

At the time it was said that the company was expected to keep Lana off TV for about 6 weeks to sell the injuries. So it’s very likely that we will see her making a comeback during Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV.

Updated Royal Rumble Match Card: Sasha Banks’ Opponent Confirmed

WWE has announced that Sasha Banks will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Carmella at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV.

These two stars have been feuding for a while and they have faced off in a number of matches over the last several months including a title match at last month’s TLC PPV.

Last week’s episode of SmackDown saw Banks defeat Carmella’s sommelier, Reginald in a match. After that the company confirmed a bout between the two female stars for Royal Rumble during this week’s episode of the show.

This is the sixth match which has been announced for the upcoming PPV alongside the two battle royals and three other championship bouts.

Match Announced For WWE Backstage Royal Rumble Edition

WWE recently announced the return of WWE Backstage for a special Royal Rumble edition and now the company has announced a match for the show.

The company had previously teased some Royal Rumble announcements for the special edition of the show which will see the return of Renee Young.

The promotion then announced that the Royal Rumble edition of WWE Backstage will feature a match for the first time ever and the episode will see Natalya taking on Tamina Snuka in a one on one bout.

The winner of this fight will earn a big advantage for themself for the upcoming battle royal and whoever wins this fight will go on to be the #30 entrant in the women’s Royal Rumble match.

It has previously been announced that the company will confirm the #1 and #2 entrant for the women’s Royal Rumble as well as the #30 entrant for the men’s version of the bout during the upcoming show.

WWE Backstage was on air from November 2019 to mid-March last year before its production was halted due to COVID-19. Renee Young has previously stated that the cancellation of the show is one of the reasons why she left WWE.

The show will be returning for a special episode on Saturday, January 30. Alongside Young, it will feature stars such as Paige and WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T and will air on FS1 at 8pm ET.

Goldberg Gives His Picks For The ‘Future Stars Of WWE’

Goldberg recently had an interview with Sound Sphere Magazine where the wrestling veteran talked about a number of different topics. The former WCW star was first asked about his movie future. Replying to it, he said that he is a competitor and not a performer and doing more acting roles is not in his plans.

Coming to WWE, the former Universal champion was asked which young stars he sees as the future of the company and Goldberg named four wrestlers he sees as the potential massive stars of the future:

“I mean the usual suspects… Drew McIntyre, Keith Lee and Ricochet. I’ve always been a HUGE fan of Finn Bálor. I’d have to say those four are the future. There’s no question about it. In my opinion. And what do I know?”

Goldberg vs. Steve Austin Dream Match

When asked about the dream match with Stone Cold Steve Austin and if he regrets that it never happened, Goldberg said that there was no other match that needed to happen more so than this one:

“Oh my god, I wouldn’t be living and breathing if I didn’t make that statement.” said the former WCW Champion, “There was no other match for my sake that needed to happen more so than that one.

It was a timing issue; it was just a timing issue, and an injury issue. I love him exponentially, man, he’s a great dude and to have graced the ring with him in a match would have been absolutely phenomenal.”

Apart from this, Goldberg also talked about things like his upcoming match with Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble and more.

You can check out his full interview at this link.

Details On Recent Pentagon Jr Segment From AEW Dynamite

AEW did an injury angle with Pentagon Jr during last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite but latest report confirms that it wasn’t the original Pentagon behind the mask at the show.

Last week’s episode of Dynamite saw the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers beating up the former Lucha Underground star in a backstage angle.

Some fans later noted that the man behind the mask wasn’t the real Pentagon because he didn’t have the cero miedo hand tattoos which the real star has.

The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter provides some update on the situation and it confirms that it wasn’t the real Penta El Zero M behind the mask featured during the segment at the show and someone else was wearing his outfit.

According to the Newsletter, the Mexican star is currently sorting out a visa issue and he is expected to be back on AEW TV when it’s taken care of.

There has also been some speculation about the former tag champion being injured but the report confirms that while the high flying star was injured for a while last year, he has recovered from the injury and is no longer hurt.

A return date for Pentagon Jr is not known at the moment but these recent reports suggest that the angle was done to explain his absence from TV during the visa issues and he will not stay away from action for very long.

Backstage News On The Current State Of WrestleMania 37 Match Card

WWE typically plans out the WrestleMania card months in advance, but this is not the case for this year’s ‘Show of Shows.’ According to reports from the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, most of the card is still uncertain. In fact, only one WrestleMania match involving Roman Reigns has been decided on.

The report did not divulge the planned opponent for the Universal Champion, but it did rule out Shinsuke Nakamura as Reigns’ opponent.

A John Cena appearance for the show which was reported recently has been confirmed but so far it’s not known what the Cenation leader will be doing at the event and if he will be getting involved in the action.

The company hasn’t been pushing a lot of long term angles that can lead to a WrestleMania match on TV with the exception of the one feud between Randy Orton and The Fiend.

A Firefly Fun House match between the two was planned for the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV at one point but WWE seems to have scrapped those plans so it’s possible that the company is holding off the bout for a future PPV.

Other angles such as Charlotte Flair vs. Lacey Evans and Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens could still lead to a match at the show but they are more likely to culminate before the PPV.

If Randy Orton does end up facing Bray Wyatt, that will leave Edge free for the event. So it’s possible that he wins Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV and challenges either Reigns or Drew McIntyre at the show.

The Rated R Superstar’s promo on Raw was also heavily centered around a title shot. Though it’s something which the report could not confirm and we will have to tune in to Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV to find out whether it’s the case.

Alex Shelly Opens Up About Decision To Pull From Hard To Kill

Alex Shelly was originally expected to be part of Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill main event but he was pulled from the show a day before the PPV without any explanation. This sudden change without a given reason had started many rumors about his status and now the high flying star has come forward to clear the air.

Shelly took on his Twitter recently to post a lengthy statement and one half of the Motor City Machine Guns explained that his day job as a physical therapy clinician prevented him from making an appearance at the PPV:

“I am a physical therapy clinician, physio is my livelihood and career. Wrestling is my livelihood and passion project. At my company, due to the volume of sick and injured patients we are in care of, we modify our COVID-19 mandates as needed.

As numbers went up, so did restrictiveness. To circumvent the topic, I could not be at Hard To Kill due to my career. I respect the decisions made by our company surgeons and doctors: I look to them for advice and guidance. I am unable to travel and wrestle until I am vaccinated. “

Alex Shelly then discussed how he does not want to receive the coronavirus vaccine so soon but he wants to help the people in therapy and wrestle as well:

“But I want to wrestle very badly while I help people in therapy. So there’s no option. @IMPACTWRESTLING was supportive and understanding and as someone who doesn’t have nor want a contract at this point, my hands were tied. Thanks for your support everyone.”

There is no word yet on how long Alex Shelly will have to stay away from action. Impact Wrestling taped a few months of content coming out of the Hard To Kill PPV and the former tag champion did not work these tapings.

The next Impact PPV Rebellion is scheduled for April 24 and we will have to see if the former champion is able to return to the ring before that.

You can check out his full statement below:

Charlotte Flair On Ronda Rousey’s Impact On Women’s Roster, If WWE Needs Her

There have been some recent rumblings about Ronda Rousey returning to WWE to fill the gap left by Becky Lynch but Charlotte Flair believes that the company doesn’t need the former UFC star.

The Queen recently had an interview with Vicente Beltrán of ViBe & Wrestling where she talked about a number of things and also shared her thoughts on the former MMA star.

Flair was asked about Rousey’s impact on WWE’s women’s roster and whether the company needs her. Responding to it, Charlotte explained that need is a very strong word:

‘Need’ is a very strong word. Do I think Ronda would add to the division? 100% but ‘need’? No, we have an incredible roster of already established stars and some of them are on the rise so ‘need’ I think is a strong word, but do I think she brings a lot to the table? 100%.”

While there has been no official update on Ronda Rousey’s return, the former women’s champion was spotted training in the ring last year and despite not being announced for the bout, she is still one of the favorites to win this year’s women’s Royal Rumble.

Charlotte Flair has previously competed against the former UFC Champion on multiple occasions and if Rousey does return to the company at some point, it’s almost certain that we will see these two sharing a ring once again.

The Undertaker had made some interesting comments on the current WWE product during his recent appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast. In the comments; Foley is responding to he had said that the current product is soft:

“I just think the product is a little soft. There is obviously guys here and there that have an edge to them but there’s too much pretty and not enough substance I think right now.”

Since the podcast came out, multiple WWE and AEW wrestlers have responded to Taker’s opinion on the current roster and people like Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre have said that they don’t agree with the remarks.

Though there have been some who have spoken up in support of the Last Outlaw and most notably Goldberg recently agreed with his comments.

Santino Marella Recalls His Royal Rumble Debut

The Royal Rumble edition of WWE’s The Bump featured stars such as Charlotte Flair, Tegan Nox, and Santino Marella talking about the upcoming PPV event among other things.

The episode started with the former WWE star and they opened the discussion with Santino’s Royal Rumble debut in 2008 at the Madison Square Garden:

“Well, I wouldn’t call that [debut] fortunate, but it was a special moment for me because it was at Madison Square Garden,” said Santino Marella. “I was hoping that I would come out later after everyone was tired.

I looked to the left, and I looked to the right, and all of a sudden, I was in the locker room trying to figure out what happened. That was a quick one. But I was honored to share the ring with these guys.”

During the interview, Marella also shared some exciting news about his personal life and the former United States Champion revealed that his wife is pregnant:

“Because this is called The Bump, my wife upstairs she has a little bump – baby bump. We’re going to have another baby! of course, my daughter Bianca is 25. She’s training to become a professional wrestler.

She is very good. You’re going to see her become a superstar. And my little son Marko, he’s two. And now, we have one more coming!”

Santino Marella entered the 2008 Royal Rumble at #3 after Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Though he didn’t stay in the bout for very long and the former champion was eliminated from the match in just 25 seconds by the Undertaker.

The Rock On The Roughest Time Of His Life

Former World Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently took part in NBCUniversal’s Winter Press Tour event on Tuesday to discuss the new Young Rock comedy series based on the Hollywood star’s childhood days.

During the press event, the former WWE star talked about things like being pitched the idea for the show, how he had a tough childhood and more.

The Rock was also asked what were the roughest times of his life and the Great One replied to the question explaining that it’s a multi-layered answer:

“There’s a few layers to that answer…At 13, I veered off the tracks to do things I shouldn’t be doing. I got arrested at 13 in Hawaii,”

The Rock added that getting passed over for NFL was another rough patch in his life “that was a pretty big loss; when you’re done with your college career, you’re done. There was no NFL for me,”

Riho Returning To AEW To Compete In #1 Contender Tournament For Women’s Title

AEW has finally announced the return of their Inaugural women’s champion Riho after almost 10 months of absence for the female star from the company.

The promotion announced a women’s eliminator tournament last week to determine the new #1 contender for the current champion Hikaru Shida.

The company then announced an interesting first-round match for the tournament during tonight’s episode of Dynamite, confirming that a returning Riho will be facing the current NWA women’s champion Sarena Deeb:

Riho was crowned the first-ever AEW women’s champion during the premiere episode of Dynamite back in October 2019 after defeating Hikaru Shida in a one on one match.

She held the title for 133 days before losing it to Nyla Rose in February last year. Shida then won the championship from Rose during Double Or Nothing in May.

The Japanese star took a leave from AEW not long after losing the championship due to the travel restrictions put in place to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Though the company has not provided any timetable for this bout just yet and so we will have to wait and see when the former women’s champion actually makes her return to AEW programming.

Tony Khan Apologizes For Streaming Issues With Tonight’s Dynamite

It appears that there were some streaming issues with tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite and president Tony Khan has apologized for it. The opening match of Dynamite saw Eddie Kingston taking on Lance Archer but many fans were not able to see the match due to some technical issues with the TNT app.

Tony Khan later took on his Twitter to apologize to fans who faced the inconvenience and were not able to watch the opening bout. He also noted that they will be uploading the full match on their YouTube channel after the show which can be seen below:

The opening match saw Lance Archer coming out with Jake Roberts but the former NJPW star later asked Roberts to stay in the back so he can compete on his own. Lance Archer went on to dominate the bout and he delivered some heavy blows to his opponent including one spot where Archer choke slammed Kingston onto the ring apron.

Apart from this, the show also featured matches such as The Young Bucks and The Good Brothers vs. The Dark Order, Jungle Boy vs. Dax Harwood and Hangman Page vs. Dolph Ziggler’s brother Ryan Nemeth.

You can check out the complete Dynamite results from this week here.

John Cena Has “Earned The Right” To Be A Part-Time WWE Superstar – Triple H

There was a time when John Cena was heavily critical of The Rock for his part-time schedule but the Cenation leader has since taken the same path and Triple H believes that he has earned his current spot.

The Game was recently a guest on The Michael Kay Show where he talked about things like having fans at the upcoming WrestleMania 37 event and more.

During a discussion about John’s status for WrestleMania, the host Michael Kay pointed out how Cena himself has become a part timer now. Replying to it, Triple H said that he has earned it:

“You find yourself when you’re in the thick of it being that guy that says, ‘I’m here every day. This is my house and my place,’ but then you get to where John Cena is, you get to where The Rock is. You get to where Taker is or [Ric] Flair or anybody else where you’ve earned the right with fans to come back every now and then and tip your cap and for them to say, ‘man, thank you for all of that’ and for you to re-live those moments.

John has earned that. Whether he spoke badly about it in the past and meant it, or whether he didn’t,” said Triple H, “he earned that right. He’s earned that right to pick his spots.”

John Cena had a feud with The Rock back in 2012-13 when the duo main evented two consecutive WrestleManias. The 16-time world champion at the time criticised The people’s champion for leaving the company for Hollywood.

However, the former champion has since followed the Great One’s path and he has admitted that he was wrong about his opponent and he was ignorant.

Roman Reigns Reveals His Favorite WrestleMania Match

Roman Reigns has been WWE’s marquee star for over half a decade now and in the time he has main evented WrestleMania for not one but four times against opponents like Triple H and The Undertaker.

The current Universal Champion recently had a detailed interview with Bleacher Report where he shared thoughts on a wide variety of topics.

During the interview, Reigns also revealed his favorite match of the Grandest Stage Of Them All and he picked up his WrestleMania 31 match with Brock Lesnar as the one:

“I’d probably not want to do it again because it was brutal; I was a much younger man back then. But that match, to me, was an instant classic unlike, really, any other sports-entertainment match.”

Reigns explained that the bout had a bit of something for everybody and while his other WrestleMania matches have all been great, there was something special about his fight with The Beast Incarnate:

“The matches we had as The Shield, and then the match I had coming back against Drew McIntyre after some time off to handle my health, that was very special, too. But there’s something very special about WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara. And I was in the 49ers stadium, so that was kind of the cherry on top.”

Roman Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble to earn a shot at Brock Lesnar’s WWE championship. However, he wasn’t able to win the title at WrestleMania. Seth Rollins cashed in his Money In The Bank contract in the middle of the bout and went on to win the championship.

Chad Gable Wants A ‘Dream Match’ With This Top WWE Superstar

Chad Gable has been helping Otis in training under his Alpha Academy and former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan has also seemingly joined this storyline to train for the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV.

The former American Alpha member recently appeared on WWE’s The Bump where he talked about things like being friends with Otis since 2010 and more.

During the interview, he also talked about how he has watched Daniel Bryan wrestle since 2002 and Gable said that competing against the former world champion is a dream match for him.

“That’s a dream of mine. That’s the dream match of mine, I haven’t gotten to the point yet in WWE where I’ve had a chance at singles championships. I want stakes to be there when I finally get that chance to wrestle Daniel.

I want something to be at stake. I want a championship to be at stake.” said Chad Gable, “I want time and to make this a technical classic. If we get that chance, I, without a shadow of a doubt, it’s going to be a legendary classic that you look back on.”

The former NXT star mentioned how many people have talked about this match and he claimed it will live up to the expectations when it finally happens because he will make sure of it.

Apart from this, Chad Gable also provided some interesting update on his former partner Jason Jordan and revealed that Jordan is actually working towards an in ring return. You can check out his comments on the matter at this link.
