Jim Ross Says His Health Has ‘Improved Immensely’ After Recent Setbacks

Jim Ross has revealed that his health has improved immensely after going through skin cancer treatment last year.

The legendary wrestling personality has had to deal with a number of health issues in the past year. This includes not only treatment for skin cancer but also getting wrist surgery as well as an unexpected ER trip after contracting class A flu.

Though the good news for the fans is that Ross is feeling a lot better after all the health setbacks as he noted on the latest episode of his Grillin’ JR podcast:

“My health has improved immensely. I got my nurse who comes by twice a week, checks my vitals, dresses my wound. Can you believe that that wound, which was a result of 22 radiation treatments for skin cancer, is still being nursed over a year [later]?

The good news is that it’s healing. It’s shrinking, and that’s important for me. I’d like to get the bandages off and move on, but I’ve adjusted well.”

Jim Ross has continued his run with AEW despite the health issues with a reduced schedule. He has been making appearances at the company’s big PPVs, doing commentary for the main event matches.

During the episode, the legendary commentator confirmed that he’ll continue this trend with a trip to Orlando for the upcoming Worlds End PPV on December 28. While he is not sure of his role, Ross is hopeful that Tony Khan will use him in an on-screen capacity at the upcoming event as well.

Corey Graves Reflects On 10 Year Anniversary of Wrestling Retirement

Corey Graves has reflected on the 10-year anniversary of his retirement from active competition and thanked the fans for their support.

The WWE personality was a rising star of the early NXT, feuding with the likes of The Shield and The Wyatt family during his time with the brand. After suffering two close concussions in late 2013 and early 2014 however, Graves was forced to retire from active competition.

While The Iron City Superstar had not wrestled a match since April 2014, he officially announced his retirement on December 11. Looking back at the date, Corey Graves said that he misses being in the ring every day:

After being forced to retire from wrestling, Graves transitioned to a broadcasting role. He started off as a color commentator for NXT, later being added to pre-show panel for main roster shows.

Graves has become one of the leading broadcast personalities of WWE TV after being called up to the main roster in 2016. He currently does color commentary on SmackDown alongside Michael Cole.

The 40-year-old revealed last year that he has actually been cleared to compete again if he chooses to, though he has no immediate plans for the same. Graves has since started helping out with the production of the shows, suggesting that he is more interested in that aspect of the industry rather than an in-ring return.

Two New Matches Confirmed For AEW World’s End 2024

Two new matches featuring top stars such as MJF and Jon Moxley have been announced for the upcoming AEW Worlds End PPV on December 28.

This week’s episode of Dynamite saw Adam Cole taking on Kyle O’Reilly to determine the challenger for MJF’s Dynamite Dozen Ring at the upcoming show. This match was made official after Cole and O’Reilly became the two surviving participants of the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal last week.

The Salt of The Earth tried to interfere in the match. He looked to hit Cole with the Dozen Ring but the Undisputed Kingdom leader ducked and took his arch-rival down with a superkick. After a roll-up attempt from O’Reilly, the former NXT Champion would go on to win the match by trapping his opponent into a small package.

Elsewhere in the show, the AEW World Champion Jon Moxley laid out a big challenge for the upcoming PPV event, calling out not one but three opponents.

Mox, who has had run-ins with Orange Cassidy, Jay White, and Hangman Page in recent weeks, said that he’ll defend the title against all three of them at the upcoming show in two weeks.

AEW previously confirmed that both the Continental Classic semifinal matches and the final of the tournament will be taking place from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida as well.

Bronson Reed Undergoing Surgery Today After Survivor Series Injury

WWE star Bronson Reed has confirmed that he’ll be undergoing surgery today after suffering an injury during the Survivor Series 2024 event.

The heavyweight star teamed up with Solo Sikoa and his cousins to take on the OG Bloodline and CM Punk in a WarGames match on the show. He suffered the injury while attempting a daring dive from the top of the cage on Roman Reigns through a table.

Reed went through the table alone after Punk saved Reigns at the last minute. WWE previously confirmed that the Australian star suffered a broken foot from the fall. The 36-year-old then took to Twitter on Tuesday to reveal that he’ll be undergoing surgery this week. He has since confirmed that the surgery was successful and he is officially on the road to recovery:

Bronson Reed wasn’t the only one who suffered real damage during the brutal PPV match. Both Jimmy Uso and Tonga Loa also suffered injuries during the bout.

Uso, who broke his toe is expected to be out of action for only a few weeks. He’ll likely be back in the ring in late December or early January. Tonga Loa on the other hand suffered a torn biceps and like Bronson Reed, he’ll have to undergo surgery.

A concrete timetable for both Loa and Reed’s return will only become clear after their surgeries. Though they are expected to be out of action for a few months and both the stars are likely to miss WrestleMania 41.

Bayley Names Stars Who Taught Her Locker Room Leadership

Bayley has revealed the things that have helped her develop leadership skills and become a locker-room leader in WWE.

The former Women’s Champion is one of the longest-tenured female talents in the history of the company. She is the only one of the Four Horsewomen currently active on the roster. With over a decade of experience in WWE, it’s not a surprise that a lot of up-and-coming talent look up to her.

The wrestling veteran was asked about her role as a locker room leader by WWE alumni Alicia Fox during an interview with Going Ringside podcast. Bayley recalled how the other three Horsewomen were called up to the main roster a year before her. She explained that being the most senior member of the women’s NXT locker room at the time helped her develop her leadership skills:

“I really think that year of me not being on Raw and SmackDown helped introduce the NXT girls without me having to do it. Like they did the hard part kind of where now when NXT girls were coming in it was like the locker room…. not that you guys weren’t welcoming but it was like ‘Oh we know that they’re here for the same reasons we are.’ They kind of like fluffed the feathers for me in that way.”

I Try To Pay That Forward: Bayley

When it comes to being a locker room leader on the main roster, Bayley models her conduct after the women who took care of her when she was first called up:

“But I always give credit to Natalya, to Tamina, and to Naomi. My first UK tour was with those girls. I was still in NXT but the way that they treated me with such respect, they treated me on the same level as them. They took care of me making sure like ‘Oh you put your bags here’ or ‘You could sit here on the bus’ or ‘We go to catering after this.’

Little things like that really stuck with me. I just try to do those little things for any of the new women in our locker room. Whether they come from NXT or whether you’re Jade Cargill and come from another company. I always remember how I was treated and try to pay that forward.”

Apart from this, Bayley was also asked about her WrestleMania 41 dream match. The former Champion said that she would love to face NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez in her first WrestleMania match.

Kevin Owens Says He Has Tried To Bring Shawn Michaels Out Of Retirement

Kevin Owens says he has tried many times to bring Shawn Michaels out of retirement but the Heartbreak Kid continues to turn him down.

The former Universal Champion was the name chosen to face Stone Cold Steve Austin when the wrestling veteran came out of retirement after 19 years for a match at WrestleMania 38. Austin won the No Holds Barred match and KO received a lot of praise for his work with the wrestling legend.

During a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Owens was asked which legend he would pick to bring out of retirement after the Austin match if he could. Kevin immediately took the name of Shawn Michaels, revealing that he reaches out to the current NXT head every year:

“Well, the answer is always Shawn Michaels. I really try pretty much every year. I think I’m done trying now, though, I think he’s pretty much…it’s three years running where he’s politely said no to me. I think the next time I ask, he’ll probably just tell me to F off, to say it nicely.

I think last year he literally had triceps surgery just to avoid the question. But, yeah, if I could wrestle, if there’s anyone I’d love to wrestle [it’s] Shawn Michaels. I’m sure he would still be able to put in a performance like no other. I have no doubt. But he’s done with it. He’s done. Trust me, I’ve tried.”

After initially calling it a career following his loss at WrestleMania XXVI, Michaels did come out of retirement for one more match in 2018. He teamed up with DX partner Triple H for a match against The Brothers of Destruction at the Crown Jewel special.

Apart from this, Kevin Owens also talked about his upcoming WWE title match with Cody Rhodes, what he doesn’t like about the American Nightmare and more. You can check out his full interview below:

Trish Stratus Reveals Condition For WWE Return

Trish Stratus says her WWE return will happen if it makes sense for all parties involved.

The wrestling legend spoke to SI during her recent GalaxyCon appearance. She discussed things such as the upcoming 25-year anniversary of her WWE debut, her Charlotte Coliseum match with Lita, and more.

With WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 being set for Rogers Centre in Toronto Canada, there is obvious buzz about the potential involvement of Stratus on the show. Many fans want to see her wrestle at the event after her highly praised Payback 2023 cage match with Becky Lynch.

Even with superstars already calling her out for a future match, Trish is not sure she wants to come back. She explained that if she competes again, it has to be better than her last encounter:

“I have to be able to deliver a hundred percent. Then also, it has to be something challenging and different for the fans. And it has to do something and mean something.

To leave off on this epic moment that’s memorable and people talk about it, it’s hard. Like, what can top that?”

What Works Best For Everyone: Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus explained that working as a heel in the feud against Becky provided her with a challenge as a performer. Having Zoey Stark on her side also made her feel like she was helping the next generation. She’ll need a challenge like that if she were to make an extended return to WWE programming:

“I think it’s like examining the landscape and seeing what works best for everyone, there’s so many parties to consider. The person that is in the storyline, the WWE. It’s really collaborative.”

Trish is not the only veteran who is open to the idea of a comeback. Former Women’s champion Layla also recently addressed the possibility, saying that she would love to have a reunion with Michelle McCool. You can check out her comments here.

Stephanie Vaquer Attacked Backstage On NXT

Stephanie Vaquer has become the latest victim of a backstage attack in WWE after this week’s episode of NXT from the performance center.

This week’s episode of the Black & Silver show opened with the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge winner Giulia addressing the fans. She was soon interrupted by the NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.

Cora Jade was the next to come out and she informed the Japanese star that Vaquer wouldn’t be coming down the ring to save her. The Titan Tron then showed Stephanie Vaquer laid out backstage.

The distraction allowed the duo of Perez and Jade to blindside the former Marigold star. Their attack continued until Kelani Jordan came out with a kendo stick to even the odds.

Stephanie Vaquer was later shown being attended by the medical personnel backstage, though she didn’t stay out of action for too long.

The opening segment set up the main event where Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez defeated Giulia and Kelani Jordan in a tag team match.

Vaquer’s music hit after the bout and instead of appearing on the ramp, she took out Jade from behind in the ring. Stephanie then attacked Jade with a bat and the segment ended with the Mexican star chasing her rival through the crowd.

Triple H Says Jelly Roll Is Eying WWE Match

Triple H has revealed that singer Jelly Roll is eying a WWE match in the future.

The Grammy-nominated artist is a vocal wrestling fan who even made an appearance at SummerSlam this year to give a chokeslam to Austin Theory.

During yesterday’s Netflix media event promoting Raw’s upcoming debut, The WWE Chief Content Officer discussed future celebrity involvement in the product. He specifically mentioned Jelly Roll who has been on a weight loss journey recently, saying that the singer & songwriter is aiming to have a match in WWE:

“I just saw Jelly Roll the other day and he’s still raving about wrestling. Every time I see him, he says the same thing, ‘I got another 100 pounds to go, baby, and I’m doing a match with you guys,'”

The American singer has previously detailed his battle with food addiction and his efforts to lose weight. In an interview with People last month he revealed that he has lost over 100 pounds just this year. The 40-year-old also frequently talks about wrestling, even revealing his thoughts on subjects such as the nuances of storytelling that have helped WWE grow its business in recent years.

Along with Triple H, WWE President Nick Khan was also present at the event. He revealed what rating WWE shows will have when they move to Netflix in January. You can check out his comments here.

Juice Robinson Replaced In AEW Continental Classic Due To Injury

Juice Robinson has officially been replaced in the ongoing AEW Continental Classic tournament due to his injury.

Will Ospreay defeated Robinson in a C2 Gold League match last week. The bout that aired on the November 27 Collision was taped after the November 24 episode of Dynamite. The former NJPW star was then spotted on crutches during the weekend’s WrestleCade event, sparking speculations about his health.

AEW president Tony Khan confirmed earlier on Wednesday that Robinson is indeed dealing with an injury. He announced on Twitter that Kommander will be replacing the injured star in the ongoing tournament:

The second annual Continental Classic tournament features names such as Claudio Castagnoli, Darby Allin, Brody King, Will Ospreay, and Ricochet in the Gold League. As of this Tuesday, Ospreay, King and Castagnoli, each have earned three points in the tournament.

On the Blue side, Shelton Benjamin and Kyle Fletcher have scored 3 points each. The current Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada and TNT Champion Daniel Garcia have had to share one point each after their match went into a time-limit draw. Both Mark Briscoe and The Beast Mortos have yet to earn any points.

AEW has changed the rules for the Continental Classic semifinals this year with the matches taking place at the Worlds End PPV itself. You can check out more details here.

Eddy Thorpe Attacked On NXT After Last Week’s Confrontation

Eddy Thorpe found his fortune turning around multiple times on the same night during the latest NXT episode from the Performance Center.

The 34-year-old picked up a big victory during the show. He won the last chance fatal four-way match to qualify for the Men’s Iron Survivor challenge at the upcoming Deadline event. Thorpe expressed confidence in winning the upcoming PPV match in an interview after the bout.

Following the main event segment of the show featuring Roxanne Perez however, the cameras hurried through the backstage area. We saw Thorpe laid out as the cameras came to a halt and the show then went off air.

This comes after Thorpe was involved in a high-profile segment during last week’s NXT. He confronted General Manager Ava in a backstage segment.

After Eddy accidentally caused Ava to be knocked down, NXT Head Shawn Michaels shoved him into a corner in a rare physical interaction.

Ava is the daughter of WWE board member Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson. So the speculation that a Bloodline member could be behind this attack is not too far-fetched.

The attack is most likely to make Thorpe unavailable for the Deadline event this Saturday. The Big question is who will replace the development star if he can’t compete at the show.

Layla Would Love A LayCool Reunion

Former WWE star Layla is open to making a return to wrestling before it’s too late.

The former Diva’s Champion was part of the WWE roster from 2006 to 2015. When she departed the company, the wrestling veteran not only took a break from the industry but she left the limelight completely.

The former champion was asked about a potential wrestling comeback now that she is back doing appearances during a recent interview with No Name Wrestling Podcast. Layla admitted that she would love to do something before it’s too late:

“Yeah, now there is. Before, absolutely 100% no. I was not open to anything. I wanted a break. I wanted to get away. But now, absolutely. Before I get too old and I can’t come back and do anything.”

One More Time: Layla

One of the highlights of Layla’s WWE career was her partnership with Michelle McCool. The duo known as LayCool were partners for more than 2 years and they found success together, even leading to Layla winning the Women’s Title.

The 2006 Diva Search winner noted that she would love to have a reunion with Michelle if it’s possible and share the ring with her best friend one more time:

“Yeah, I would…one more time. I would honestly come back to do a LayCool reunion. If that is possible and if that is something that could happen, why not? It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

And we did, we had a lot of fans when we were together. Lay-Cool was a stable for a while…we were together for what, two and a half years, I think. So I would love to reunite with my best friend. I really would. Just one more time.”

The WWE women’s tag team titles have gained a little bit of momentum with the recent reign of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. After Cargill was taken out by an unknown assailant recently, however, the future of the belts is in doubt.

With the Royal Rumble PPV coming up in 2 months, it’ll be the perfect opportunity for a LayCool return, with them having a short reign with the championships during the WrestleMania season.

Josh Alexander On His Reaction To Scott D’Amore’s TNA Exit

Josh Alexander says he got a little emotional when he learned about Scott D’Amore’s exit from TNA.

The former Impact World Champion recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet for a new interview. He talked about his approaching free agency, potential opportunities in WWE and AEW, working with Will Ospreay and more.

When asked if D’Amore’s exit from the Anthem-owned promotion played a role in his decision to leave the company as well, Alexander admitted that he did get emotional when he first found out about it:

“When I first found out, he was [gone] I teared up. I’m not gonna lie, I was thinking about these last six or five years at the time I had in TNA and everything along the way.

When I started, having zero relationship with him other than he was the guy that got me a visa was giving me this opportunity to this point where we developed this relationship of trust, and he coached me along and gave me so much help.”

Like The Rug Was Just Pulled Out: Josh Alexander

Scott D’Amore returned to TNA as an executive in 2017. He was appointed the Head of Creative and later promoted to Executive Vice President in December 2020. Coming out of the pandemic, Scott led the company into a new streak of success, creating more buzz and selling more tickets than the promotion had done in years.

The wrestling executive was the brain behind the TNA rebranding at the start of this year which generated a lot of buzz for the company. He was, however, abruptly fired from his position only a month after.

Josh Alexander noted how Scott put him in touch with people who helped him level up his skills. He explained that his firing after the rebranding made the locker room feel like the rug was pulled from under them:

“The entire locker room, especially with the rebranding of TNA thing happening at the end of BFG, and then it was like the debut of TNA, we were riding high. We just sold out the Palms.

These shows were insane. Then it felt like the rug was just pulled out from under you, right? So it’s like, how do you react to that? How do you feel about the relationship we built?”

Scott D’Amore has relaunched the Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling brand since his TNA departure. Though the company has not promoted any shows since its relaunch event Forged In Excellence in October.

Drew McIntyre Comments On WWE Raw Return

Drew McIntyre says people should not believe anything they hear about him unless it’s coming from his own channels.

The Scottish Warrior made his surprise return to WWE programming this Monday Night on Raw. He took out Sami Zayn after the Hononary Uce’s loss to Seth Rollins in the main event of the show.

The former World Champion took to Twitter after this segment. He referenced the reports about his hiatus and called out fans for forgetting his words so soon:

“If you don’t hear it from me, live on WWE TV or on my social channels, assume every single thing you hear about Drew McIntyre is BS. Oh, and how soon you all forget?”

McIntyre’s attack on Sami Zayn has multiple layers of story behind it. Earlier in the night, Sami stood up for CM Punk when Seth Rollins called the Straight Edge Star out. Having gone to war with Punk in an intense Hell In A Cell match before his time off, it makes sense for Drew to not be a fan of this alliance.

Apart from his rivalry with Punk, the 39-year-old has a long history with the reunited OG Bloodline himself. Like Kevin Owens, McIntyre spent a long time fighting the group during Roman Reigns’ dominant Undisputed Championship reign.

The big question now is if McIntyre will join hands with other enemies of the OG Bloodline or if he’ll continue his solo run.

Watch: What Happened With Cody Rhodes After Raw Went Off Air

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes made a surprise appearance after an eventful edition of Monday Night Raw from Angel Of The Winds Arena in Everett, Washington went off air.

Two dark matches took place after the latest episode of the Red Branded Show. Nia Jax was in action after competing in WarGames this past Saturday and she defeated Naomi to retain the women’s championship.

A street fight featuring the American Nightmare was the second dark match of the night. Cody defended his title against the Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa.

The two recreated the viral spot from their recent live event match and Rhodes won after putting Solo through a table:

What Happened On Raw

WWE celebrated the 10-year anniversary of New Day’s debut at the November 2 Raw with Big E making a return to the brand. The night didn’t go as planned for E, however, and he was essentially kicked out of the group by Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

The follow-up to OG Bloodline’s Survivor Series WarGames victory led to Seth Rollins having an intense promo battle with both CM Punk and Sami Zayn.

Rollins would go on to face Zayn in the main event of the show. The Honorary Uce not only lost the bout but he was also taken out by a returning star after the bell. You can check out details of the segment here.

Penta Now A Free Agent After AEW Contract Expires (Report)

Penta El Zero Miedo has become a free agent as of December 1 after his contract with All Elite Wrestling has expired.

The future of both the former Impact World Champion and his brother Rey Fenix has been a matter of heavy speculation over the last few months, with reports suggesting that both the AEW stars were looking to leave the company for WWE.

Fightful is now reporting that at least Penta will be able to make the move if he chooses as the former Lucha Underground Champion’s contract has expired and he has become a free agent.

Unfortunately for the Mexican star, his brother won’t be joining him in his next adventure anytime soon. Injury time has been added to Fenix’s contract and his deal now extends well into next year.

While Rey Fenix remains under AEW contract, there are no creative plans in place for him at the moment. The Death Triangle was once considered to win the Trios Titles at All In this year but things changed after the officials learned that Penta had been in contact with WWE.

The big question now is whether Penta will follow through on his original plans and sign with WWE or he’ll wait until his brother becomes a free agent as well.

The former AAA star is already drawing interest from the indies and he can continue working for smaller promotions for the next few months if he chooses.

Sami Zayn Comments On Bloodline’s Future After WWE Survivor Series 2024 Victory

Sami Zayn says The Bloodline alliance is never really going to end.

The OG Bloodline reunited at tonight’s Survivor Series 2024 PPV to take on Solo Sikoa and his cousins. After having defeated the new Bloodline at the show, however, the big question on everyone’s mind is if this reunion is going to continue.

Zayn was asked this question while appearing on the post-show media scrum. The Honorary Uce said that the closest thing he can compare The Bloodline to is his never-ending feud with Kevin Owens:

“I think the bloodline thing, because of the length of time for how long it’s gone on now, and for the level of fan investment over the last few years, I feel like the closest thing I can kind of compare it to is like my story with Kevin Owens, for example, wherein it’s sort of a story that I think is always going to be there.”

Back To The Mothership: Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn mentioned how someone else asked Jey Uso about potentially going back into a tag team with his brother Jimmy. Just like Jey, the former NXT Champion had no definite answer on what he’ll do next, but he noted that it’s definitely not the end of their story together:

“So, you know, the previous question was asking, you know, Jay obviously has been doing tremendous things on his own. Does he want to go back into a team? Does he want to go do this? What’s the future for all the Bloodline members? I don’t know, right?

I don’t know, but I think even if we all sort of drift in different directions, it’s become this thing where you can always just sort of float back to the mothership. You know, much like me and Kevin, have been telling a story for over 20 years, and somehow, we always find each other in our crosshairs, and we’re very diligent.

Just as I think, with the bloodline, with regards to how we tell this story, we’re very diligent about how we do it, to make sure it’s always peaking the fans interest. So I don’t have a definitive answer for you. I don’t know, but it’s definitely not the end. I don’t know if this is like we’re back and we’re running it just like we did two years ago, but it’s, it’s never really going to be over, because it’s family.”

Jimmy Uso Suffers Minor Injury During WWE Survivor Series 2024

Jimmy Uso suffered a minor injury while competing in the WarGames main event during tonight’s WWE Survivor Series 2024.

The former tag champion was involved in one of two big dive spots of the bout. He went to the top of the cage to deliver a Uso Splash to Jacob Fatu through the table, taking him out of the fight.

The OG Bloodline and CM Punk would go on to pick up the victory in the match after everyone delivered their finishers to Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns got the pin.

Jimmy Uso Injury Revealed

All the winning team members except Reigns took part in the post-show press conference. As they were heading out, Sami commented that ‘Jimmy’s hurt, not that bad.’

Jey Uso then went on to reveal that the injury was the result of the big dive spot, saying ‘Yeah my brother broke his toe, on his big splash tonight.’

Bronson Reed was the other star who attempted the dive off the cage during the show. He tried to deliver a Tsunami to Roman Reigns but CM Punk pulled the Tribal Chief out of harm’s way at the last minute.

Unfortunately for Reed, he didn’t come out of the spot unscathed either. You can check out an update on his health following the show here.

Bronson Reed Injured After Big WarGames Spot at WWE Survivor Series 2024

‘Big’ Bronson Reed suffered legitimate damage during his big WarGames spot.

The heavyweight star had promised to go viral when he entered the match beyond as part of Solo Sikoa’s team in the main event of WWE Survivor Series 2024.

Reed did not disappoint as he went all the way to the top of the cage in an attempt to deliver a Tsunami on Roman Reigns through a table. CM Punk ended up saving the OG Tribal Chief at the last minute from the catastrophe and Bronson went through the table all by himself.

The former NJPW star was effectively taken out of the match with the spot and latest reports suggest there was good reason for it.

Bronson Reed Injured

According to a new report from Fightful, Reed suffered real damage in the spot. While the dive was always going to take him out of the match, they’re told that Bronson Reed suffered damage to one or both of his ankles upon the landing.

In the post-Survivor Series media scrum, WWE CCO Triple H noted that Reed’s status was questionable following the bout and hinted that we might not see him on TV for a few weeks.

Bronson Reed wasn’t the only one who attempted such a spot. Jacob Fatu was also seen favoring his knee following a failed Moonsault attempt. You can check out an update on his health here.

Update On Jacob Fatu After WarGames Spot At WWE Survivor Series 2024

Jacob Fatu is said to be ok after his Survivor Series WarGames spot.

The Samoan Werewolf was the X factor for Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline going into the brutal WarGames match against Roman Reigns and his team.

Fatu was the third entrance from his side in the match and he proved his worth by taking out several members of the opposing team.

His dominance continued until Fatu missed a spot. The former MLW star landed awkwardly while attempting a moonsault off the top rope on CM Punk. He was seen favoring his leg for the rest of the match, making fans wonder if the spot was planned.

Corey Brennan of Fightful provided an update on Jacob’s status. He claimed that Fatu was not supposed to sell his leg so heavily, but he was not really hurt from the spot:

Jacob Fatu continued the match after this spot. In the end, he was taken out by the combined efforts of The Usos. The twins first delivered a 1D on Fatu and Jimmy then went on top of the cage for a Uso Splash on him through a table.

Bronson Reed was also effectively taken out of the match during one such spot. He attempted a Tsunami from the top of the cage on Roman Reigns but CM Punk pulled Reigns out of harm’s way at the last minute.

Solo Sikoa found himself at a disadvantage after both the powerhouses from his team were taken out. This allowed the OG Bloodline to finally pick up the victory.

Chelsea Green Explains Why She Loves Being A Heel

Chelsea Green says she fears the day when she has to become a babyface.

The WWE star has become one of the most entertaining names on the current roster since her return in early 2023. Mixing her unique heel tactics with her incredible character work, Green has become one of the most over stars in the company.

The former TNA star was asked about playing the villain on TV during a new interview with Canucks Central. She explained that she’s always had fun playing the heel character because she loves talking shit:

“I mean, I always had fun stepping into a villain character, in a villain role, and playing that bad guy. There are also the other half that obviously like to be the hero. They like to be the good guy. They like to be cheered.” said Chelsea Green,

“But for me, I just….there’s something so authentic about talking shit honestly. Just being nasty, and saying the thoughts that you never actually let come to the surface. You can kind of play with that as a heel in wrestling. I have so much fun doing it. I’m going to fear for the day where I have to be the good guy.”

Chelsea also talked about being part of the ongoing Women’s US Title tournament to crown the inaugural champion. She said she is already thinking about what she can do with the title if she wins the competition.

Green is set to face Bayley in the semifinals of the tournament. The winner would then compete in the finals set to take place at Saturday Night’s Main event on December 14.

Chelsea Green Already Has Ideas For Women’s US Championship

Chelsea Green says she already has ideas on what she can do with the Women’s US Championship if she wins the title.

The female star recently spoke to Canucks Central. She talked about things such as 2024 being her 10-year anniversary of entering the wrestling industry, her journey in the business, and more.

Speaking about the introduction of the new mid-card titles for female talent, Green mentioned that women’s competitors have really shattered the glass ceilings in the past decade. She claimed that being in the tournament for the Women’s US Title as a Canadian is incredible:

“To be able to even be in this tournament for the first-ever Women’s United States Championship is incredible. Then, to be able to say that I’m the winner, to be a Canadian winning the United States Championship, it would be an honor.”

It Would Be Amazing: Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green has become one of the most beloved stars since her return to WWE during the 2023 Royal Rumble. People such as Nick Aldis have praised her for her creativity and giving 100% to whatever role the company has put her in.

A lot of audience members are rooting for the former TNA star to become the Inaugural Women’s US Champion. Green herself is also optimistic about her chances and she’s already thinking about things she can do with the belt:

“There are so many things, of course, the creative side of my brain, the wheels get turning and I think of all the things I can do before I’ve even won the championship. It would be amazing to be the inaugural champion and be able to bring it back to Vancouver,”

The former NXT star won a first-round triple threat match to advance to the semifinals of the ongoing Women’s US Title tournament. She will be facing Bayley in the semis with the finals taking place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.

Watch: Matt Riddle Makes Surprise TNA Turning Point Debut

Matt Riddle has arrived in TNA.

The Anthem-owned promotion presented its latest Turning point PPV from the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina this Friday, November 29.

One of the announced matches for the night was a six-man tag, featuring the team of Zachary Wentz, KUSHIDA and Trey Miguel taking on The Hardy Bros and Ace Austin.

Earlier in the day before the show, however, the company announced that Miguel would be missing the event due to a travel complication.

Matt Riddle would go on to make his surprise debut as a replacement for the young star, coming face-to-face with the legendary tag team in the process:

The team of Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Ace Austin ended up picking up the victory in the end, after Jeff took down KUSHIDA with a Swanton Bomb.

The former US Champion has a history with Zachary Wentz. The two have shared the ring on multiple occasions in the past and Riddle also briefly mentored MSK in NXT

The Bro of Bros has been a featured star on MLW since the start of this year, after being released from WWE late last year. He is set to challenge Satoshi Kojima for the MLW world title at the Kings of Colosseum event on January 11th.

Paul Heyman Believes Bloodline Story Ranks Above nWo, McMahon vs. Austin

Paul Heyman believes The Bloodline saga is the best story ever told in wrestling history.

The wrestling veteran recently spoke to Shakiel Mahjouri for a new interview. He talked about things such as companies having too many championships, his return to TV, CM Punk’s rise in WWE, and more.

Heyman who is known for his knowledge of wrestling history was also asked where he ranks the Bloodline saga among all the other great stories told in the business. The former ECW owner explained that he ranks it at the top because of how long it has been drawing money for WWE:

“Because of the longevity that this storyline has had I have to rank it number 1. I mean the money-drawing years of the Horsemen weren’t this long. The money-drawing years of the nWo wasn’t this long. The money-drawing years of Austin vs. McMahon wasn’t this long. Hogan vs. Savage, Hogan vs. Piper which put WrestleMania 1 on the map.

So just in terms of overall storytelling and the constant ebb and flow of affecting other people’s environment in the roster. How they tell their stories. I would suggest it’s the most significant, it’s the biggest money drawing, it has the most longevity, has held the most interest and overall it has done so by being the most intriguing and compelling.”

All False Humility Aide: Paul Heyman

Explaining what makes the tale so great, Heyman made similar comments to Triple H. He explained that in their story, a character’s evolution is not only inspired by the current circumstances but their past as well:

“Because at every turn you see the characters not just turn towards what the story calls for but the long-term effects of the development of these characters and the evolution of these characters is never lost on us. So if something happens that changes Roman Reigns in 2022, we don’t disavow knowledge of it in 2024. It plays into what’s happening in 2024. So because of that and because we keep it consistent, I would have to rank it number 1. All false humility aside.”

Eddie Kingston Working ‘Furiously’ Toward In Ring Return

Eddie Kingston is working hard on his recovery from the multitude of injuries he suffered earlier in the year but the latest reports suggest that he’ll not be back in the ring anytime soon.

The Mad King last competed during the NJPW Strong Resurgence event in May this year. Kingston dropped the NJPW Strong Openweight Title to Gabe Kidd at the show.

The AEW star suffered a tibial fracture, a torn ACL, and a torn meniscus in this match, putting him on the shelf for a prolonged period.

PWinsider recently provided an update on Eddie Kingston’s status. They noted that the 42-year-old is ‘furiously pushing himself’ through physical therapy in hopes of getting back into the ring as soon as possible.

Despite his best efforts, however, the former ROH Champion is not expected back anytime soon. His doctors have warned him that he’ll likely not be cleared to compete until June 2025. When the site reached out to him for a comment, Eddie simply said ‘Health insurance is a scam.’

Eddie Kingston is one of the names who was helped by the inception of AEW. Having wrestled for many indie promotions since his debut in 2002, Kingston was contemplating retirement before being signed by AEW in 2020.

His mic skills and fighting spirit have helped make the wrestling star one of the most loved names of the AEW roster since then and there are many who are waiting for his return to the ring.
