Seth Rollins has been known for making some controversial comments in recent times and the Monday Night Messiah has made another interesting remark.
The former World Champion was recently a guest on The Gorilla Position Podcast where he talked about a number of things including the declining ratings of Raw, the concept of Raw Underground and more.
Talking about his Messiah gimmick, the former Shield member revealed that they haven’t planned things months in advance and Rollins said that there is no timetable on how things will go:
“Although I have been careful to craft the character, nothing has been perfectly planned out for months in advance; there has been no timetable on how things are going to go.”
The former NXT Champion then made a very interesting claim, saying that today’s audience does not have the patience for long term storyline and according to Seth; this is the age of instant gratification:
“In the age of instant gratification, audiences don’t have the patience for long term storytelling, when you can binge-watch your favorite series in two days, as opposed to two months, it creates a different precedent for how we intake our entertainment.”
Seth Rollins later explained how things have changed since the old days of wrestling saying that the people are consuming entertainment differently and they have to adapt according to it as well.
What do you think about the Monday Night Messiah’s comment on today’s audiences? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
AJ Styles has given us a number of dream matches since his arrival in WWE and he has faced veterans such as The Undertaker and John Cena since signing with the company.
However, there are still many stars in the promotion The Phenomenal One has not faced and during a recent twitch stream, the current IC Champion revealed one such name he wants to face ‘badly’.
Styles was talking about matches he would like to have in future. He took names like Keith Lee and said that he wouldn’t mind going down to NXT before revealing the name of a Hall Of Famer he really wants to face:
“I’ve got to have a match with Edge before him and I both retire, I think that’s something that we both want. I know he tore his tricep, and hopefully it’s a speedy recovery for him.
That’s one that I want badly, and I think that he would like to have one as well.” said Styles “It would be great. I’m still looking forward to it, Edge.”
A match between AJ Styles and Edge looked impossible a few years ago but it’s a real possibility now. The Rated R Superstar has also shown interest in facing the former TNA star before he hangs his boots for good.
However, Edge is currently out of action due to a triceps injury so this bout is not a possibility for the foreseeable future and fans will have to wait for his return before they can hope to see these two competing in a match.
While the Monday Night Wars is mostly the story of the competition between WWE and WCW, there was another company of the time which has developed a cult following since it’s closing – ECW.
However, Eric Bischoff believes that this status is unjust and in reality, the promotion was never really a big deal for the time it existed.
Bischoff talked about ECW during the latest episode of his 83 weeks podcast, and while he admitted that ECW helped launch the careers of a number of stars, Eric believes that the company couldn’t have survived on a bigger platform:
“I understand why everybody thinks it was one of the greatest things to happen for a couple of years, but if you go back and look at the numbers, it wouldn’t have survived and couldn’t have survived on a bigger platform.”
The former WCW official then gave an example of ECW’s status mentioning how Paul Heyman used unlicensed music for his shows and according to Eric Bischoff, Heyman got away with it because nobody was paying attention:
“Paul Heyman, famously, he would use unlicensed music on his show, he would find a song he liked and he’d use it for entrance music. Why? Because nobody was watching the damn thing. He wasn’t going to get sued. Nobody was paying attention, nobody cared.”
During the podcast, Eric Bischoff also talked about the current state of Impact Wrestling, how the former TNA President Dixie Carter constantly overpromised and under-delivered during her time and more.
The news was first heard from WWE Hall Of Famer Koko B and the company has since confirmed the demise of the former wrestling star through a press release on their official website:
“WWE is saddened to learn that James Harris, known to WWE fans as Kamala, has passed away at age 70. He terrorized opponents and thrilled audiences in Mid-South, World Class Championship Wrestling, WCW and WWE until 2006 WWE extends its condolences to Harris’ family, friends and fans.”
Kamala made his wrestling debut in 1978 and spent most of his early career in Southern United States, wrestling under the ring names “Ugly Bear” Harris and “Big” Jim Harris.
Harris wrestled for promotions such as Continental Wrestling Association and Mid-South Wrestling before having a stint with WWE in 1984.
Kamala returned to WWE for a couple more stints in the 90s and made sporadic appearances for the company from 2001 to 2006. He also had a small run with WCW in 1995.
We at SEScoops send our deepest condolence to the family and friends of the former wrestling star in this difficult time.
While AEW is not a company to shy away from brutal and hardcore spots in matches where they are necessary, there are many spots which aren’t planned by the company.
Cody Rhodes getting busted open with a chair shot to the head from Shawn Spears was one such infamous spot and latest reports reveal that this week’s episode of Dynamite featured another such moment.
The latest Dynamite episode saw Sammy Guevara brawling with Matt Hardy and the segment ended with the former throwing a chair at the wrestling veteran.
The Broken One ended up getting busted open due to the chair shot and according to reports from Mike Johnson of Pwinsider, Hardy’s bludgeoning was not pre-planned.
The former WWE star had to get 13 stitches to close the wounds but reports suggest that the former World Champion was fine after being treated by the medical staff.
Matt Hardy has been feuding with the Inner Circle since his arrival in AEW in March this year and Sammy Guevara has been a regular opponent for him.
During the Stadium Stampede match at Double Or Nothing, Santana and Ortiz dunked Hardy in a version of the Lake Of Reincarnation, allowing the former champion to shuffle between his multiple gimmicks at his will.
Kofi Kingston’s monumental WWE Championship win at WrestleMania 35 last year made him part of an elite line up of stars who have won a world championship in the company.
However, many people also started considering him to be the first African American WWE champion in history, despite The Rock’s claim on the mantle.
Kofi recently talked about this sentiment from people during his interview on the Table Talk podcast, and he said that it’s silly that people try not to count The Great One in the category:
“I think it’s sometimes kind of silly that people try to not count The Rock in that category because, regardless of what you look like, you are what you are, you know what I’m saying? Like, he’s black. Whether he is half-black or black, he’s black.”
Continuing on the topic, Kingston said that while winning championships is cool, what’s important for him is to be somebody who inspires other people to go out there and do great things.
Apart from this, Kofi Kingston also talked about his Kofimania run leading to the WWE title win, how it happened naturally and how he got support from all kinds of fans before his championship victory.
We have seen miraculous returns of Daniel Bryan and Edge in the last few years and now a new video has sparked similar speculation for the future of another retired star in Tyson Kidd.
His wife Natalya recently posted a video of Kidd on her Instagram account in which the former wrestler is seen training in the ring for the first time in 5 years:
Tyson Kidd signed with WWE in November 2006 and went back and forth between the main roster and the various development territories during his early years in the company.
He was finally starting to get reorganization from fans after forming a tag team with Cesaro in 2014 but a career-ending neck injury suffered during a dark match with Samoa Joe on Raw in June 2015 cut this run short.
Tyson was hired as a full-time producer by WWE in June 2017. The company moved his profile to the alumni section of their website during the same period, thus officially marking the end of his career.
However, there have been a lot of rumblings since the monumental return of Edge earlier this year and now this new video is making fans wonder if the former Hart Dynasty member could be on his way back as well.
Ever since Rhea Ripley dropped the NXT Women’s Championship, people have been wondering if it’s the start of the end of the former Champion’s NXT run and if WWE could be planning to bring her up on the main roster.
The Australian star recently had an interview with Newsweek where she talked about a number of things and also revealed her thoughts on a potential main roster call up.
Ripley said that she can’t outgrow NXT and she wants to be on the Black and Yellow brand for a long time but revealed that she doesn’t know if that’s what the officials are planning for her:
“I don’t think I can ever outgrow NXT. There is always something coming up and I honestly want to be in NXT for a long long time, Whether that’s the case or not, I don’t know, I don’t have that call.
I feel like I have so much more to do here.” said Rhea Ripley. “Whether that’s singles matches or whatever, I love NXT and I love being a part of it. And I hope I’m here for longer. I guess we’ll see.”
The former champion also admitted that she feels that the spotlight on her has diminished a little bit since her WrestleMania loss, though the NXT star said that her time will come again.
Apart from this, Rhea Ripley talked about her match with Dakota Kai, possibly facing Mercedes Martinez in the future and more. You can check out her full interview at this link.
WWE has announced via a press release that they have hired Nick Khan as the new President and Chief Revenue Officer of the company. Khan previously worked as the co-head of television at the Creative Artist Agency or CAA.
He represented many big corporations during his time in CAA including WWE and Khan played a part in negotiating the promotion’s much talked TV deals with both Fox Network and NBC Universal in 2019.
Commenting on his appointment in the press release, the former CAA official said that he is looking forward to expanding his relationship with Vince McMahon and it’s a rare opportunity:
“It’s rare to have an opportunity to work at a company that is not only legendary in what it has already accomplished, but also uniquely poised to enter into an unprecedented phase of growth and expansion across all lines of business. Our collective industry experience will enable us to extract maximum value across the portfolio globally while driving long-term shareholder value.”
Nick Khan will be taking over the duties of both George Barrios who was previously acting as a Co-President for the company and Michelle Wilson who was previously the CFO of the promotion.
WWE is always looking to figure out who might be their next big star and latest reports suggest that the company has very high hopes for a current NXT star.
This week’s episode of NXT featured another triple threat match between Damien Priest, Oney Lorcan and Ridge Holland to determine the contender for the upcoming NXT North American Championship match.
Talking about the bout, Bryan Alvarez on the latest Wrestling Observer Live made an interesting comment about Holland, mentioning that the WWE officials “think that he has the potential to be the next big thing.”
The wording of this assessment is very interesting as ‘The Next Big Thing’ catchphrase has long been associated with Brock Lesnar and it was used to promote The Beast Incarnate during his early WWE career.
Ridge Holland signed with WWE back in May 2018, and after making some appearances for the NXT brand, he was assigned to NXT UK.
The triple threat match at this week’s episode of the Black and Yellow brand was Ridge’s first appearance on the main NXT brand since his time in 2018.
Even though he lost the bout at this week’s show, this report suggests that WWE has high hopes regarding the English wrestler and it wouldn’t be a surprise if we see a lot more of him in coming future.
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw the in-ring debut of Matt Cardona, better known to WWE fans as the former US Champion Zack Ryder.
The former WWE star teamed up with the TNT Champion Cody to face John Silver and Alex Reynolds of the Dark Order, after setting up this tag team match during his debut for the promotion last week.
The match was won by the faces and Cardona picked up the victory for his team after hitting his finisher Radio Silence on Reynolds.
Matt Cardona’s long career with WWE ended back in April when he was released as a cost-cutting measure. He had been with the organization for 15 years.
After the conclusion of his 3-month “no compete” period, he showed up in AEW last week on Dynamite to save Cody from an attack by the Dark Order.
Though Cardona’s himself has confirmed that he is currently on a short term deal with the company and while he has said that he plans to stay with the promotion, we will have to see what the future brings for the newest AEW star.
Matt Cardona had this to say following his AEW in-ring debut:
Cesaro has achieved a lot in his wrestling career which spans over two decades. However, with his 40th birthday approaching slowly, the talks about his retirement have started creeping in as well.
The SmackDown star recently had an interview with Sport1 where he talked about a number of things including his partnership with Shinsuke Nakamura, potential singles run and more.
When asked how long he plans to continue wrestling, the former US Champion revealed an advice he got from John Cena and Cesaro said that he will stop when he can’t get any better:
“I want to get better every day, that’s how I handle my career. If I can’t do it anymore, it’s time to stop. A wise man named John Cena once told me that you are only as good as you were in your last match.
I want my last match to be great. When I see that this is no longer possible, you have to stop. I don’t know when that is.”
Cesaro was also asked about potentially pursuing a career in acting like Cena or the Rock and the Swiss Superman said that he would take the chance for an acting role if he gets one.
Apart from this, the WWE star talked about things like the rise of German-speaking stars in WWE, the future of NXT UK Champion WALTER and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.
This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw saw the debut of a number of new things including concepts like Raw Underground and the arrival of a new mysterious faction as well.
While the new faction didn’t get a lot of screen time, it did became a talking point among the fans and now the company has officially revealed the name of the new group.
WWE announced on their website that the group responsible for the technical glitches on the broadcast of the show is calling themselves ‘RETRIBUTION.’
Previous reports have revealed that the storyline is specific to WWE and it’s not intended to coincide with the current happenings in the country.
The group is apparently aiming to change the way the company operates. They are trying to ‘loosen control’ over the WWE superstar and they will do anything that’s necessary to get the management’s attention.
Though at the moment we don’t know much about the members of the group. It’s said that the company officials are keeping the names a secret and they intend to take their time in revealing the faction members.
What did you think about the new WWE faction and the idea that’s being presented through it? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
Eric Young was one of the guys Triple H had signed to NXT. He found success in the development territory of the company but couldn’t replicate the same after being called up to the main roster in 2018.
After making sporadic appearances for the company for a couple of years, the former TNA Champion was released in April earlier this year and according to him, HHH did not even know about his firing beforehand.
Young recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. During the talk, the former leader of Sanity revealed that The Game was the first person to call him after his release and that the DX member did not know about his firing:
“I can tell you now Scott D’Amore was the second person I heard from when the news came out. This is going to sound weird, but Triple H was the very first. He was unaware that it was happening. He’s in a different position in the company now. [We] have always had a very good relationship.”
After being released from WWE, Eric Young has returned to his roots in Impact Wrestling and he made his surprise return to the company during the Slammiversary PPV last month.
Young took part in a 5-way match for the Impact World Championship during the show and he established himself as a heel during the bout.
Former NXT star Austin Theory hasn’t been seen on WWE programming for a while now and latest updates on the situation suggest that he might be in hot waters with WWE management.
A fan recently asked Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer on why the former Evolve Champion hasn’t been seen on WWE TV recently and replying to the question, Meltzer claimed that he is on an “unannounced suspension”:
Though Meltzer did not confirm the reason for this so it’s hard to say if the former champion has done something to upset the management or if he has beef with any top star instead.
Austin Theory made his wrestling debut in 2016. He made his name working for many independent promotions including his stint with Evolve which led to his WWE signing in August last year.
Theory made his televised debut for the promotion in December. Though he didn’t stay in the development for long. He was called up to the main roster just before WrestleMania 36 and he later joined Seth Rollins’ stable.
However, his name hasn’t been mentioned on WWE programming in recent times and this latest report now puts a question mark over the future of the young star. We will keep you posted on any updates on his status.
This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw the return of former SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon who was there to introduce a new segment on the show.
Former WWE star Rusev who was released from the company earlier this year took a shot at Shane’s return via Twitter. He made the following tweet, mentioning how it’s opposed to the talks of building new stars:
“We want to build new talent”. Shane is back! Sums it up.
Shane McMahon was on the show to introduce the concept of Raw Underground which took place in a warehouse-like setting with a ring that had no ropes. You can check out the complete Raw results at this link.
Tonight’s episode of Raw saw Kevin Owens holding his talk show with the special guest being Ruby Riott. Liv Morgan also came out during the segment and Riott admitted that she was wrong to attack Liv before.
The IIconics then came out as well and the segment set up a match between the two teams. The match saw Liv Morgan picking up the victory for her team.
Both Riott and Morgan were interviewed backstage after the match and when asked about their future, they suggested that this reunion could continue in the upcoming times. You can check out their interview below:
AEW’s Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament kicked off tonight on the company’s YouTube channel and it saw the debut of not one but two former WWE stars.
The show started with WWE Hall of Famer Madusa introducing the trophy that will be rewarded to the winning team. Tony Schiavone and Veda Scott were on the commentary for the show.
The tournament will see 8 teams fighting for the trophy. The competition interestingly has a random draw for partners meaning that the competitors do not know who will be their partner before the match.
The first match of the show saw Brandi Rhodes teaming with Allie to face the team of Penelope Ford and Mel. Brandi won this bout for her team via a pin after hitting Mel with a spear.
The second match saw the debuts of former WWE star Ariane Andrew better known to WWE fans as Cameron and Tay Conti who was known as Taynara Conti.
The match saw Anna Jay and Tay Conti teaming together to face Nyla Rose and Ariane Andrew. The match was won by Jay and Conti with Anna Jay picking up a pinfall victory over Ariane Andrew
Due to the random draw format, the company has not announced the matches for next week. You can check out this week’s episode featuring the debut of the former WWE stars below:
A lot of people including many legends have praised Big E over the years and characterised him as a potential world champion if the New Day member wrestles as a singles competitor. Now that he is finally getting a chance to showcase his skills on his own, the former IC Champion feels that he is ready to go solo after being a team player for over half a decade.
Big E recently had an interview with Yahoo Sports and discussing his singles run, the former Tag Team Champion mentioned how it all came out of nowhere. Though he later said that he hopes that the people who have clamoured for this for years will not be disappointed:
“This is all kind of coming out of nowhere. I feel confident that I am ready for this. The interesting thing and weird thing is we don’t have that organic response. I hope people enjoy this run, I hope it’s good and entertaining, I hope all of the people who have clamored for this for years are not disappointed.”
Even though he is getting the opportunity for a singles run, the former NXT Champion still sees himself as a representative of the New Day and he believes that his singes achievements will add up to the legacy of the group:
“I always see it as I am a representative of the New Day. The same way that Kofi credited Woods and me and said that when he won it was for all of us, that’s the same feeling I have. This adds to all of our legacies because I don’t get this far, I don’t have this much without those two. I don’t even know if I am around in this company without those two.”
Xavier Woods has been out of action due to an Achilles injury since October last year. Kofi Kingston revealed during the July 24 episode of SmackDown that he will be out of action for 6 weeks after losing a Tables match at Extreme Rules, effectively giving Big E his first singles run since the formation of the group in 2014.
WWE is planning to hold the annual draft in October this year once again, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.
WWE had 5 dates under consideration for next ‘Superstar Shakeup.’ Company officials have since narrowed it down to two possible dates in October.
Last year’s draft saw The Street Profits being called up to the main roster. There is no word yet on if NXT stars will be included in the draft but it’s very likely that the brand will be represented in some capacity this year as well.
The drafts last year took place in October, one week after SmackDown moved to Fox Network. It started on the blue branded show and concluded on the Raw episode the following week.
A number of big names switched brands during the last drafts. The most notable moves included the then Universal Champion Bray Wyatt moving to SmackDown and people like Randy Orton and Kevin Owens being moved to Raw.
The WWE Champion Brock Lesnar who won the title from Kofi Kingston on SmackDown’s Fox Premiere then quit the Blue Branded show and later joined Monday Night Raw.
Now it would be interesting to see if the Black and Yellow brand of the company is also included in the shake up and if the company adjusts the format of the event to incorporate moves from NXT into the drafts this year.
Roman Reigns’ win over The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33 created a lot of buzz but the company did not utilise the heat the Big Dog had gained in any significant way and Ric Flair believes that the promotion dropped the ball with Reigns after the event.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently had an interview with Metro.co.uk where he talked about the match between the two WWE stars after it has become a topic of discussion again with the airing of The Last Ride documentary.
Flair explained that the win was the hottest tag anybody has ever gotten in the history of the business and if he was in the position, he would have ridden on that heat forever:
“All I thought about was, “God dang, Roman just got the hottest tag in the history of the business!” To me, when Mark hauled up his stuff, put it in the middle of the ring and walked out. The next day, on Raw, Roman couldn’t talk!
I thought to myself, man, I’ve been in a lot in my life but if I’d had that hot tag brother, I could’ve rode that forever.” said Ric Flair, “I don’t know what happened! But that was the hottest tag in the history of the business! That’s made the thing with Brock beating him pale, in terms of emotion!’
The 16 time world champion later also complimented the match saying that two wrestling veterans had a hell of a match and people focused too much on the botches.
Undertaker suffered a loss at the hands of Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 and many believe that this match was more significant than the ending of the streak because Taker left his gear in the ring after the bout, with the intention to end his career.
Their non compete clause and then the coronavirus pandemic stopped The Ascension from kicking off their post-WWE careers, but the former champions are now getting ready to make their mark with a new name.
The former WWE stars recently had an interview with WrestleZone where they talked about things like their time in the company, what they were planning before the lockdown and more.
During the interview Viktor revealed that they were originally going to use the name FKA which is an acronym for ‘formerly known as’ as their name but Konnor then revealed a different name which was suggested to them recently:
“The Awakening. It’s like it’s the next step up from The Ascension, It’s still got that connection so the fans can understand it and it’s something that Vik and I think is badass regardless.”
Konnor also explained how the coronavirus pandemic has affected their plans revealing that they were actually going to return to TV but those plans were halted. Though he did not reveal which promotion the duo was going to join.
The Ascension wrestled their final WWE match in April 2019. The two were released from the company in December that year after 8 months of inactivity and their non compete clause with the promotion expired in February 2020.
Edge made his return to in-ring action after almost 9 years of absence at Royal Rumble in January and his return has been one of the biggest stories of the wrestling world this year.
However, his comeback hasn’t been free of controversy and the former world Champion has received criticism over the length of his matches with the Viper Randy Orton.
Edge discussed the complaints from fans during a recent interview with ESPN MMA, and the Rated R Superstar mentioned how people also complain when stars like Brock Lesnar put on shorter matches:
“After nine years and a triple fusion in my neck, I went out there for 41 minutes, People complained that Bill [Goldberg] and Brock [Lesnar] go out and do four [minutes].
So what is it? What do you want? I’m going to bust my ass and I’m going to try and give you the best product I possibly can” said Edge, “Because I’m not gonna phone it in. To me, that’s what WrestleMania was, that’s what Backlash was.”
The former champion wrestled his first singles match after his return against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 36 and the two then competed in a rematch at the Backlash PPV.
However, Edge, unfortunately, suffered a triceps injury during his Backlash bout which is likely to keep him out of action for somewhere between 6 to 9 months.
Former World Champion Rey Mysterio is currently a free agent as his last contract with WWE has expired, according to theWrestling Observer.
The high flying star made his surprise return to the company during the 2018 Royal Rumble in January and he then made several one-off appearances for the promotion before finally signing a 2 year-long contract in September.
However, that deal has expired according to the reports. So technically, Mysterio is currently a free agent and he is not bound to a contract with WWE.
The former champion alongside his son Dominik has been involved in a feud with Seth Rollins and his disciples recently and while it hasn’t been announced yet, it’s believed that these two will face each other at the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV.
Meltzer also noted that the company had planned an “eye for an eye match” between Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins for the upcoming WWE special, though there is no word yet on if this stipulation is still in the cards.
Although despite Mysterio’s contractual status, it doesn’t seem very likely that he will walk away from the company to join any other promotion.
His son has been featured heavily on WWE programming recently and Dominik is expected to make his wrestling debut for the company in future.
Charlotte Flair has been a polarising figure since her debut in WWE. Many fans believe that she is given more opportunities than others due to her last name and WWE star Sonya Deville recently revealed her thoughts on the matter.
The former NXT star recently had an interview with the Sun where she talked about things like the coronavirus pandemic, adjusting to shows without an audience and more.
During the interview, the female star was asked about the perception that Flair receives more opportunities because of her heritage, and Deville said that whether it may be true or not, she delivers every time:
“Yeah, I mean, it’s a two-fold question because it’s like, does she get opportunities because of who she is? “Maybe, but does she deliver every single time? For sure.”
Though Sonya Deville continued by explaining that a lot of women in the WWE locker room would step up and work hard if given the same opportunities, citing herself as an example:
“I’m the same way where anything you throw at me, I’m going to deliver. You could throw anything at me. If I’m given the same opportunities as Charlotte Flair, I will be as big if not bigger than Charlotte.”
Sonya Deville was signed by WWE in 2015. However, despite being called up to the main roster in November 2017, the former NXT star is yet to hold a title in the company.
Do you think Charlotte Flair receives more opportunities in WWE because of her last name? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
There have been conflicting reports about Charlotte Flair’s return after it was revealed that she needs surgery but the Queen herself has now confirmed her status.
The former Women’s Champion recently had an interview with Sport Hiatus where she talked about things like the coronavirus pandemic, the health of her father and more.
During the interview, Charlotte also confirmed the reports of her surgery and claimed that she will only be gone for a few weeks, opposing the reports which suggested that she could be out until Royal Rumble 2021:
“Yes, I’ll only be gone for a few weeks, they can still play things on the WWE Network [to keep fans thinking about me], but utilizing my social media will be most important while I’m gone… No one is going to miss me. They’re still going to feel like I’m there is basically what I’m saying. I’m gone but I’m not really gone.”
Charlotte Flair competed in a match against Raw Women’s Champion Asuka on this week’s episode of the Red Branded Show. She was also involved in a backstage fight with Nia Jax which effectively wrote her off TV for near future.
While the exact date for her return is not known, it believed that Flair will challenge Asuka for her title at SummerSlam and after her confirmation; it would be interesting to see if she returns in time for this feud.
