The Young Bucks decided to reduce their social media presence last year. They have since left Twitter and according to the brothers, this move has helped spark creativity in them.
The duo recently had an interview with Sporting News where
they talked about things like the early success of AEW, their tag match at
Revolution and more.
Talking about their decision to leave social media, the Bucks claimed that they had been discussing it for a while and Nick Jackson then revealed a particular moment which helped solidify his decision:
“There’s one particular moment where it hit me where I was
reading stuff about the show, and my kids were playing, and they were like,
‘Daddy come play with me.’ And I wasn’t listening to them. They had to shake me
and said, ‘Daddy, come play with me.’
And then I looked at my phone and was like, ‘What am I doing? I’m wasting time on this fake thing that doesn’t matter. It doesn’t affect my life, I’m taking time doing this instead of playing with my children at home. How selfish of a human being am I to do this?’”
Speaking of the difference this move has made, Matt Jackson said that the shows have been a lot better for them.
The Young Bucks explained how negative comments on social media affect them saying that they stay in the back of your head even if you don’t believe them.
Apart from this, The Young Bucks talked about not making any money in wrestling during their initial days, adjusting into the executive roles and more. You can check out their full interview at this link.
Shelton Benjamin’s original WWE run lasted for almost a decade. He started with the company in 2000 and lived through the eras of Brock Lesnar and John Cena but his tenure ended abruptly in 2010.
The former US Champion recently sat down with Lilian Garcia for Chasing Glory podcast, where he talked about a number of things like his start in the promotion and more.
Talking about his departure from the company in 2010, Shelton revealed that it wasn’t him who chose to leave the promotion and the officials let him go instead:
“Me and WWE had a difference in opinion, I wanted to
keep my job, and they had a different opinion. Honestly, I was so frustrated by
the time I left, that I felt like I was constantly trying to prove myself, as a
Superstar, and as a performer.
It got to the point where I was coming to work and my heart just wasn’t in it.” recalled Benjamin. “It was almost like my spirit was broken because I felt like every time I had something going for me, it was taken away, somehow or another.”
Shelton went on to explain how he needed to work on certain aspects of his character but WWE wasn’t helping him and he felt miserable while coming to work.
After leaving WWE, Shelton Benjamin started wrestling in the independent circuit. He competed for promotions such as ROH, NJPW and Pro Wrestling Noah before making his return to the company in 2017.
Cody Rhodes created some buzz recently when he said that he wouldn’t mind taking Dynamite out of its current slot on Wednesday nights and move it to Monday. However, the AEW President Tony Khan doesn’t seem to be a fan of the idea and it appears that he believes that Wednesdays are the best spot for them.
The AEW CEO was asked about Cody’s comments during the post Revolution media scrum and he said that while Cody is one of his best friends, as the president he is saying that they are on Wednesday nights: (Transcription: SEScoops.com)
“I think Cody brings (a lot) to the company both on-screen and off-screen. He is one of my best friends.” said Tony Khan. “That may be his view for 5 years. As his personal view and that might even be his view as the executive vice president but as the president and CEO, I am telling you we are on Wednesday nights, I want to be on Wednesday nights.
I have no intention of moving for a variety of reasons and I am really happy with where we are (in the) the relationship with TNT. It’s a night that works great for them. We have been a top performer for them. We are doing great on Wednesdays and I want to stay there. “
Tony Khan continued by explaining how he believes Monday Night Football is the greatest franchise on cable and he never wants to compete with them. Apart from this, the AEW president also discussed Jon Moxley’s Championship win at Revolution and revealed how he feels about Cody Rhodes’ new tattoo. You can check out his full interview below:
NXT star Rhea Ripley is all set to make history at WrestleMania this year by becoming the first NXT Champion to defend their title at the Show Of Shows.
The 23-year-old Australian professional wrestler recently had an interview with Mirror.co.uk where she talked about things like the competitiveness at the WWE Performance Center and more.
Discussing her upcoming match against Charlotte Flair at the Grandest Stage Of Them All, Rhea Ripley said that the achievement is awesome and she loves making history:
“To be able to be the first person from NXT to defend their NXT Championship at WrestleMania is awesome and I love making history. Don’t get me wrong, like I love it.
And then to be able to challenge Charlotte, the winner of the women’s Royal Rumble,” said Ripley. “It’s just like it’s not really heard of, the champion challenging the challenger.”
The NXT star also discussed Mick Foley’s recent comments where Foley said that her upcoming match can steal the show at WrestleMania.
The NXT Champion said that it’s pretty cool to have someone like the Hardcore Legend take the time to tweet about their match.
Rhea Ripley challenged the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble winner, Charlotte Flair for a match at WrestleMania 36 and WWE has confirmed this bout for the event after Flair accepted the offer. You can check out the updated card for Mania here.
All signs are pointing towards The Revival leaving WWE once their contracts expire and it appears that the company is also preparing for their departure.
PWInsider is reporting that the company has filed an application to trademark terms The Mechanics as names for wrestlers and No Flips Just Fists as a tag line for merchandise.
The Mechanics is the original tag team name the Revival used during their initial days in NXT, and No Flips Just Fists is the popular catchphrase that has been used by the duo.
This move comes after the former Raw Tag Team Champions
applied for a number of trademarks themselves including the name Top Guys and
phrases such as ‘Say Yeah’, ‘No Flips, Just Fists’ and ‘Shatter Machine.’
While not confirmed, it’s believed that the Revival is trademarking the terms in preparation for their post-WWE careers and Top Guys is the name they are planning to use.
On the other hand, WWE is likely trying to trademark the terms to try and stop them from using them in indies or any other promotions if the duo does leave the company.
Scott Dawson’s current contract is set to expire in April while WWE has added 10 weeks to Dash Wilder’s deal for the time he missed due to injury, meaning that he will become a free agent sometime in June.
Roman Reigns was involved in the opening segment of SmackDown this week where he set up his WrestleMania match but it wasn’t the last of him the fans in the arena got to see.
The former World Champion came out once again after the show
was over and he competed in the dark match of the night against none other than
King Corbin.
Corbin had introduced a weapon in the match and he was
trying to use it against his opponent but Reigns managed to avoid the attack
and hit a spear.
After this, the Former Shield Member pinned King Corbin to pick up another victory over him after Super Showdown to send the crowd home happy. You can check out some videos of the bout below:
The opening segment of this week’s episode of SmackDown saw the new Universal Champion Goldberg celebrating his win over The Fiend at Super Showdown.
Roman Reigns then came out to confront the former WCW star
and WWE later confirmed that these two will meet at this year’s edition of
WrestleMania.
The show also had a number of other interesting moments including John Cena’s return and the start of his WrestleMania rivalry. You can check out the takeaways from this week’s SmackDown here.
It appears that the feud between Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin is finally over and the Big Dog will be moving to his next rivalry after the Super Showdown event.
The show in Saudi Arabia saw the former Universal Champion
defeating Corbin in a steel cage match after hitting him with a superman punch
using a steel chain.
After the show went off air, the WWE crew talked to Roman
Reigns backstage and they asked him how it felt to finally get his retribution
against the former US Champion.
Replying to the question, the former Shield member explained that being in his position means that people will always challenge you for your spot.
He also admitted that if felt good to beat Corbin and Reigns then said that he now expects someone else to have beef with him:
“I expect somebody else to have beef with me, that’s just the place that I’m in. Everyone wants to take what’s mine and it’s up to me to defend it every single night.”
The announcers kept mentioning that the match was the end of
the rivalry between the two stars and these comments from Roman Reigns make it
feel like he is finally done with the former NXT star.
Roman Reigns is expected to compete in a big Elimination Chamber match and reports have already revealed the plans for him at WrestleMania. You can check a detailed report on Reigns’ WrestleMania opponent at this link.
The Fiend’s dominating run that started at SummerSlam last year finally came to an end at Super Showdown where Goldberg defeated the Monster to win the Universal Championship in the main event of the show.
WWE cameras caught up with the new Universal Champion
backstage after the event was over and he was asked about his big win during
the night.
Goldberg was asked how it felt walking out of Super Showdown as the Universal Champion and he joked that he will be limping out of the country instead. The new champion then said that it’s an honor to win the title again:
“But hey man, it’s an honor just to be here and to be able to go out there and attain this belt again, this title again.” said Goldberg. “It’s a dream come true, it truly is. It’s something you always shoot for, but the older you get, the further that pinnacle is away you think, and I’m just… I’m in awe.”
Goldberg then detailed the strategy he used to defeat Wyatt
saying that he had to hit Bray with everything he had, as quickly as he could
to catch him off guard. He mentioned that this is how he defeated Brock Lesnar
as well.
The former WCW star has been announced for an appearance at SmackDown tonight. His Super Showdown win is expected to lead to a very interesting WrestleMania match. Click here to know the WrestleMania plans for Goldberg.
Ric Flair was at NXT this week to watch Charlotte Flair in the main event of the show and he made an appearance for the live audience before the episode went on air.
The 16-time world champion came out right before the show
went on air and he interacted with the Godfather of the Black And Yellow brand
Triple H during his appearance.
Flair first said that the guys at NXT work really hard and Ric Flair then also teased a knee drop on his jacket but ultimately decided against it. You can check out some photos and a video of Flair’s appearance below.
Charlotte Flair defeated Bianca Belair in the main event of this week’s episode of NXT but she didn’t stop there and the Queen attacked Belair with a chair after the match was over.
Flair was interviewed backstage after the show. When asked
why she attacked the NXT star after winning the bout, Charlotte simply replied
with ‘because I can’.
The former Women’s Champion then explained her actions saying that when she was in NXT she had more respect for the performers on Raw and SmackDown. You can check out her interview in the video below:
The Undertaker has been in news recently due to reports of him traveling to Saudi Arabia despite not officially being announced for the show.
Videos of the Dead Man arriving in the country had surfaced
online yesterday and now WWE has also confirmed the former World Champion’s
presence.
The company confirmed Undertaker’s sighting via a post on their official website. They mentioned how he has not been announced for the show so far but teased a Super Showdown appearance for him as well.
The Last Outlaw is scheduled to face AJ Styles at WrestleMania this year and speculation is that he can set up his match with the Phenomenal One during the event on Thursday night.
Though it’s also possible that the company holds off the
start of their rivalry for some more time and Taker makes an appearance as a
special attraction on the show.
Undertaker and some other major names are currently advertised for an appearance on the March 9 episode of Raw which will be the post Elimination Chamber episode of the show.
So if he doesn’t set up a match with Styles on the PPV from
the Middle Eastern country, then this upcoming Raw seems to be the next best
spot to kick off the feud.
While Trish Stratus has not been announced for WrestleMania so far, a new tweet from her has sparked rumors of a major WrestleMania feud for the former Women’s Champion.
Stratus, who debuted on WWE Television in March 2000, recently posted a short clip from her Twitter in celebration of “20 Years of Stratusfaction.”
What’s interesting to note here is that towards the ending, the video features a graphic of the WWE Hall Of Famer having a confrontation with none other than ‘The Boss’ Sasha Banks from the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble match:
This tweet has sparked rumors of a potential rivalry between the two and with WrestleMania being around the corner, people have started speculating if WWE can be planning a match between Stratus and Banks at the Shows Of Shows.
Sasha Banks is currently out of action with an ankle injury
and there is no word yet on how long she will stay on the shelf or what the
company is planning for her return.
WrestleMania is currently expected to feature 6 women’s matches. Since matches for all other horsewomen have already been account for, it would make sense for Banks to be involved in a big match against someone like Trish Stratus for the show.
The video also shows the date of Thursday, March 19. WWE has
a rare live event scheduled from Mobile Civic Center in Mobile, Alabama on the
day and it would now be interesting to see if Trish Stratus makes an appearance
on the show.
PWinsider is reporting that The Dead Man is currently scheduled to make an appearance at the March 9 episode of Raw from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
Baszler will be competing in the Elimination Chamber match
to determine the WrestleMania opponent for Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and
while not confirmed, the NXT star is rumored to face ‘The Man’ at the Show Of
Shows.
The Undertaker, on the other hand, is expected to face AJ
Styles at WrestleMania this year and it’s possible that he has a confrontation
with the Phenomenal One during the episode.
The reports of Bella Twins being inducted into Hall Of Fame first came out a couple of weeks ago and then WWE made the induction official on the latest episode of SmackDown.
After the major announcement, the duo of Nikki Bella and
Brie Bella appeared on the latest episode of WWE Backstage to talk about their
careers and more.
During the interview, The Bella Twins were also asked about their reaction to the news. Answering the question, they revealed that it was Vince McMahon himself, who called to inform them about their induction:
“It’s funny when Nikki and I got the called, Vince [McMahon] called us both, we saw his missed call and my first reaction was, ‘Nikki, what did you say in the press?'” recalled Brie. “We thought we were in trouble, we called Vince back, together, and when he told us, we were shocked, ‘What? This year?'”
"My first reaction was, Nikki what did you say in the press?" – Brie Bella ?
Nikki Bella then explained that after working for long and
fighting for so many things, having the one man who they look up to call them
for the opportunity was incredible.
The Bella Twins also talked about Nikki’s Evolution match against Ronda Rousey and she said that she went in the match thinking it as a David vs. Goliath scenario.
Nikki and Brie will be inducted into Hall Of Fame during the WrestleMania weekend alongside Batista and nWo. Davey Boy Smith, JBL and Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger are the other reported names for this year’s class but they are yet to be announced officially.
Losing Matt Hardy in the current environment would be a big loss for WWE and it appears that the officials of the company also realize this as they are offering all kinds of perks to the former Champion to stay, including a position in NXT.
Mike Johnson talked about Hardy’s status on the latest episode of PWInsider Elite Audio and reported that the company has made a lot of “overtures to him” in recent times.
The Wrestling Journalist then revealed a very interesting possibility. He said that there have been talks of the Broken One working in the NXT system somehow, noting that his gut feeling is that Hardy will stay:
“I know that WWE has made a lot of overtures to him in the last couple of weeks. There’s been some talk of him working in the NXT system somehow. My gut feeling is that Matt Hardy will probably stay.”
Matt Hardy’s current WWE contract is set to expire very soon and if he doesn’t re-sign with the company then he is expected to become a free agent this Sunday on March 1.
WWE offered him an increased pay to stay with the company but Matt is looking for creative control over his character which has been stopping him from signing a new contract with the prmotion so far.
WWE has taken an interesting direction with the Women’s Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair this year and she has chosen to face NXT Champion Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania, instead of choosing a champion from Raw or SmackDown.
Though it appears that Ripley’s appearance will be the only major involvement of NXT at Mania as there are no other NXT title matches planned for the show.
Dave Meltzer talked about the upcoming event on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio and revealed that there are currently 14 matches planned for WrestleMania.
However, the Ripley vs. Flair bout is the only NXT Championship match scheduled for Mania and as of this writing, no other NXT titles are expected to be defended on the event.
While the NXT stars can still be used in the male or female battle royals at the PPV, the current plans are for Rhea Ripley to be the main representative of the Black And Yellow brand on WrestleMania.
On a related note, Meltzer revealed that the NXT Champion is being paid under her standard NXT contract but she is receiving bonus pay for any Raw appearances she makes to build her feud with Charlotte.
There is no word yet on what she will be paid for her actual match at the Grandest Stage Of Them All but it’s not hard to imagine that WrestleMania will be a big payday for her and any other involved NXT stars.
It was reported yesterday morning that the Undertaker is traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Super Showdown event and now videos of his arrival have surfaced online.
@Enjoy_Saudi Twitter account recently posted some clips of WWE superstars arriving in the country for Thursday’s event. As seen in the post below, the video captures stars such as Goldberg, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, and The Undertaker:
Taker has not officially been announced for Super Showdown so far and there is no word yet on what the Dead Man will be doing at the Pay-Per-View event.
Though previous reports have revealed that the current plans
are for the former World Champion to face AJ Styles in a one on one match at
WrestleMania 36.
So fans are speculating that Undertaker can make an
appearance on the show to confront Styles and set up their match at this year’s
edition of the Show Of Shows.
AJ Styles is set to compete in the Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy gauntlet
match alongside Andrade, Bobby Lashley, Erick Rowan, R-Truth, and Rey Mysterio.
This match itself also made some headlines recently when WWE replaced Rusev with Rey Mysterio and reports have since revealed that the Bulgarian Brute backed out of this appearance at the last minute.
‘The Dead Man’ Undertaker is traveling to Saudi Arabia for Thursday’s Super Showdown event, according to reports from Wrestling Observer Radio.
Previous reports have revealed that Taker is expected to compete against The Phenomenal AJ Styles at this year’s edition of WrestleMania.
Styles is currently scheduled to wrestle in a gauntlet match for the Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy on the Saudi show. Other participants for the match include Andrade, Bobby Lashley, Erick Rowan, R-Truth, and Rey Mysterio.
While there is no word yet on what the Last Outlaw will be doing at the event, it’s speculated that he can set up his upcoming match with the former World Champion in some way during the PPV.
It’s been a while since the Undertaker last wrestled for WWE
and his last match for the company was a tag team bout where he teamed up with
Roman Reigns to face Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules in July
last year.
Some photos of the former World Champion had sparked rumors of him returning at the Royal Rumble PPV earlier this year but the appearance obviously didn’t happen.
Taker was also recently spotted at the Performance Center in
Orlando and it would now be interesting to see if he gets physical in any
capacity at the upcoming show.
The Super Showdown this year will be taking place from
Mohammed Abdu Arena on the Boulevard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this Thursday,
February 27.
This week’s episode of Raw saw Paul Heyman hyping Brock
Lesnar’s upcoming matches but his WrestleMania opponent Drew McIntyre was kept
off the show.
McIntyre still took part in the episode but he appeared in a pre-recorded video with Charly Caruso where he talked about his career in WWE so far and claimed that he will fulfill his destiny at WrestleMania 36.
Though the Scottish Psychopath did make a live appearance after the show went off air and he competed in a one on one dark match against the Monday Night Messiah, Seth Rollins.
Drew apparently cut a promo before his bout with the former
Universal Champion and the crowd was hugely behind the former NXT star.
The finish of the match saw Drew McIntyre picking up a pinfall victory over Rollins after hitting him with a Claymore kick. Below are some photos and videos of the bout:
For anyone that wants to know, the dark match was McIntyre Vs. Rollins. Crowd was hyped when McIntyre talked. McIntyre even got them to chant “tiny balls” at Rollins #RAW
It’s worth mentioning here that Seth pulled double duty during the night and he had also competed against Montez Ford of the Street Profits during the broadcast of the show.
Drew McIntyre has chosen Brock Lesnar as his opponent for WrestleMania after winning Royal Rumble. On the other hand, Seth Rollins’ match for the show has not been announced yet but he is likely to face Kevin Owens at the event.
The intentional glitches seen on SmackDown broadcast recently have been creating buzz among wrestling fans. People have been speculating names which can be behind it and the latest WWE signee Killer Kross is one of the top rumored stars for the spot.
While appearing on the Main Event podcast, reporter Dave Meltzer discussed these rumors and suggested that there could be something to the story of Kross being revealed as the mystery man behind the glitches.
It was previously reported that Killer Kross could be fast-tracked once he signs with the company and Meltzer noted that at the time of his signing, the word was that he was brought on for “something big”.
The former TNA star is not expected to take the usual route of going through NXT before joining Raw or SmackDown and WWE Officials are instead planning something significant for him on the main roster.
Though Meltzer put a stop to the rumors of Kross facing John
Cena at WrestleMania 36, saying that he specifically asked if this was the plan
and was told no.
WWE officially announced the signing of Killer Kross on February 5 but at the time, he wasn’t assigned any brand. The company had only confirmed that the former Lucha Underground star has reported to their Performance Center to begin his training.
John Cena will be returning to WWE this Friday Night on SmackDown and there are speculations that he will kick off his WrestleMania feud during his comeback.
WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T talked about Cena’s return on the latest episode of his podcast and revealed his choice of WrestleMania opponent for the 16-time world champion.
Booker interestingly suggested that the Cenation Leader should face the current face of WWE, Roman Reigns, at this year’s edition of the Show Of Shows:
“Roman Reigns, Roman Reigns being the guy now, John Cena being the guy who has put in so much time, one of the greatest WWE Champions in history.
I know John Cena could pull it off, I know Roman Reigns could pull it off. Both of those guys know the art of going out there and doing Romeo and Juliet.”
Booker T later acknowledged that a lot of people would not want to see the match between the two on paper but he claimed they will be impressed when the bout takes place.
John Cena has locked up with Roman Reigns before. The two
faced each other in a one on one match at No Mercy 2017, and the Big Dog came
out victorious in the bout.
Cena was originally expected to face Elias at WrestleMania 36 but recent reports indicate that WWE has shaken up the card for the event recently. You can check out a detailed report on the matter here.
It appears that former United States Champion Rusev has been pulled from the Gauntlet match he was announced to compete in at the upcoming Super Showdown event.
There was some confusion over the graphics used to promote the match on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw and WWE has since confirmed that Rey Mysterio will be replacing the Bulgarian Brute in the upcoming match:
The company has not given a reason for Rusev’s removal but the two sides have been locked in a contract dispute for a while now and reports suggest that the officials have pulled Rusev from WWE TV due to the same.
Rusev has not wrestled since the January 20 episode of Raw where he and his partner Liv Morgan lost a mixed tag match to Lana and Bobby Lashley.
When WWE originally announced the Gauntlet match, it was
reported that the announcement was not a sign of things being resolved between
the two parties.
It’s believed that Rusev will leave WWE once his contract expires. Though it was reported earlier this month that he still has “plenty of time” left on his current deal.
His wife Lana on the other hand, signed a new 5-year deal just recently so she will be staying with the company until at least 2025, whether the former NXT star decides to leave or stay.
AEW star Shawn Spears recently gave an interview to Chris Van Vliet where he talked about things like his infamous chair shot to Cody Rhodes at Fyter Fest, whether the chair was gimmicked and more.
During the interview, the former NXT star was asked what is the biggest difference in AEW compared to his time in WWE when it comes to the day to day stuff.
Answering the question, Spears explained that the biggest difference is that the talents are very relaxed at AEW shows and the locker rooms are almost empty during the day because people are excited to wrestle:
“The biggest difference is that it’s very relaxed,” explained Shawn. “A lot of the talent is out by the ring, the locker rooms are almost empty during the day. Like people are having fun, they are excited to wrestle.
I don’t know how it is in the WWE or NXT at the moment but there was a time when I was still in WWE where a lot of the people would stay in the locker room until they had to go and do their matches cause they would try to avoid certain other aspects of the company or other people of the company.” (Transcription: SEScoops.com)
Spears continued by acknowledging that they are still a new company and they still need to iron out some things. But the All Elite Wrestling star said that everyone at the promotion is really enjoying themselves.
Apart from this, Shawn Spears recalled how he was petrified when he originally decided to leave WWE and revealed how his pairing with Tully Blanchard came about. You can check out his full interview in the video below:
Former Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush recently held a Q&A session on Twitter where he answered questions related to his next album, his favorite feud and more.
When asked why he loves wrestling, the former Champion
explained that he grew up watching the business and it’s the only thing that
makes him feel like a kid once again:
“I grew up watching wrestling as a kid. It was the only
thing that made me feel like a kid again the older I got. I try to remind
myself this every day.”
The NXT star also made some interesting comments about the
state of 205 Live when a fan asked him if the Cruiserweight Exclusive Show
should have its own Takeover Style events.
Rush replied to this question from the fan with a remark on the current state of the series and said that he thinks 205 Live should be treated better as a whole. You can check out his comments in the tweet below:
Lio Rush has previously been subject to reports of backstage heat and he had made a number of headlines last year by publically criticizing his WWE pay and financial status while being under contract with the company.
In light of his previous controversies, it’s debatable how
wise it is for Lio to criticize the status of the show publically and it would
be interesting to know how the WWE officials react to his comments.
Current ROH World Champion PCO recently had an interview with WrestlingInc where he talked about things like finally becoming a World Champion in wrestling after 3 decades in the business and more.
Since ROH has a partnership with New Japan Pro Wrestling,
the current champion was asked about an interesting possibility of defending
the ROH title at an NJPW show.
Answering the question, PCO recalled how he was scheduled to make his New Japan debut by competing in the World tag league but the plans were scrapped due to Brody King injuring his knee:
“Maybe. I know I was booked for [World] Tag League and
I was supposed to make my debut for New Japan Pro Wrestling. But Brody King
injured his knee and tore his ACL, I missed that tournament so it will be
interesting to see how things turn out. But my main focus is ROH right now and
what’s going on in North America.”
PCO also talked about a potential tour of Australia for the
company and revealed that ROH’s parent company Sinclair has increased the
promotion’s budget three or four times from last year.
Apart from this, the ROH star talked about his last year’s entrance at Supercard of Honor and teased an out of the box entrance for this year’s edition of the show. You can check out his full interview at this link.

Current NXT Cruiserweight Champion and Progress Tag Team Champion Jordan Devlin announced on Twitter recently that he is pulling out of Progress Chapter 103 due to elbow bursitis. He was replaced by Eddie Kingston.
Devlin, along with his tag team partner Scotty Davis were set to defend the tag titles against Anthony Henry and JD Drake but he announced that he will not be able to compete on the show as seen below:
Sorry to the @ThisIs_Progress fans and mgmt for missing #Chapter103 today. V.strenuous schedule lately and picked up a bit of elbow bursitis. It'll be fine in a week or so, I just didn't want to risk infection or aggravating it and prolonging my time out. See you guys soon. ?
As Jordan noted, he is not expected to stay out of action for very long and his removal was a precautionary measure to avoid the risk of aggravating the injury.
Big Show Reveals How Steve Austin Helped Him
Former World Champion The Big Show was the latest guest on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s WWE Network series dubbed Broken Skull Sessions and during his appearance, the Monster Sized Athlete talked about a number of things.
WWE recently posted a clip from the show on their YouTube channel in which, Big Show recalls how a WWE star taught him how to be a ‘giant’ in the ring.
The WWE star was none other than the Texas Rattle Snake himself and according to Big Show, Stone Cold taught this to him during a trip to Europe. You can check out the clip posted by WWE below:
