Xavier Woods recently spoke to TVInsider in order to promote the New Day’s new podcast, where he talked about things like his gaming YouTube channel, being away from WWE due to his injury and more.
Woods is currently out of action after undergoing a surgery to repair an Achilles tear late last month and he is expected to stay away from the ring for the next 6 months at least.
This time away from WWE has given him the opportunity to look at the New Day from outside and when asked if he will be pushing for some creative changes based on his new perspective of the group, the SmackDown star replied positively:
“A hundred percent, but I can’t tell you, It’s a secret. I got to keep the magic. I’m busy and don’t want to focus on how I will come back because I have tons of time left.
So any ideas now I have for later is going to be drastically different because the environment of the company is going to be different when I come back. I’ll start thinking about things closer to my actual return.”
Xavier has created a brand for himself outside of WWE in his gaming YouTube channel UpUpDownDown and his channel recently hit the 2 million subscribers mark.
Talking about his inspiration to create the channel, the New
Day member recalled his conversations with many veterans and admitted that the
realization that many of them didn’t set up for the next part of their life was
terrifying to him:
“When they explained that part of life to me and how
difficult it was to cross over and leave wrestling behind. Many didn’t set up
for the next part of life. That’s always been something that has terrified me
and been in the back of my mind. “
Apart from this, Xavier Woods also talked about the format of their new podcast, the future of his YouTube channel and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.
Kurt Angle competed in his farewell match at WrestleMania
this year and he has since taken on a backstage role in WWE, working as a
producer for the Raw brand.
The WWE Hall Of Famer recently had an interview with The Chicago Tribune where he talked about a number of things and also detailed his new position with the company.
Angle explained that he helps in structuring matches for
talents and claimed that his role is just giving feedback to the wrestlers and
evaluating their work:
“I help structure matches that the talents have. It’s
just giving my feedback and evaluating what the wrestlers do, the most
important thing is once you learn the basics, limit your bumping.
We only have so many bumps in our career. If you do it
excessively at the beginning of your career, you’re going to cut your career
short. If you save your body, it will help you enormously.”
Apart from this Kurt Angle also discussed his start in professional wrestling and recalled how a lot of amateur wrestlers had advised him not to step in the world of professional wrestling because they thought it was ‘degrading’
However, then WWE came out and explained that they were
their own entity. They were entertainment and not wrestling and Angle saw it as
a good opportunity to show others that you can cross over without it affecting
your previous accomplishments.
Jon Moxley’s debut at Double or Nothing is undoubtedly one
of the biggest moments in the history of the company and many believe that it
will go down as one of the most iconic moments in the history of wrestling.
During his recent interview on the State Of Combat podcast, the former WWE Champion discussed a number of things and also reflected on his AEW debut.
Mox admitted that his surprise appearance at the Double Or
Nothing PPV was a very special moment for him because he had been through a
rough couple of months and he went into radio silence during the time:
“That was a very special moment for me because that was
a rough last couple of months there. I went radio silent. I didn’t say anything
about anything even though all of these rumors were coming up everywhere about
what I was doing and whether I was going or staying,”
Jon also talked about the days following his WWE departure
saying that finally being able to come out and say that he was back felt really
weird to him.
Apart from this, Jon Moxley was also asked if he has any ill-will towards his former employers in WWE and he said that now 6 months after leaving the company, he has no motivation left to prove anything to the company.
He went on to claim that his energy is now about creating positive things and there is no chip in his shoulders about showing anything to Vince McMahon.
The iconic duo of Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler is considered to
be one of best commentary teams in the history of wrestling and Ross recently
revealed how his broadcast partner ended up on the commentary desk.
Jim Ross talked about a number of things during the latest episode of his Grilling JR podcast and he also talked about Jerry Lawler’s early days in the company.
JR first claimed that there was no talk of Lawler joining the commentary during the season of WrestleMania IX when he originally joined the promotion and he had only been brought in as an in-ring talent.
Revealing why he was put on the commentary team, the AEW
star revealed that the only reason Jerry was given the role was Randy Savage’s
sudden departure from the company:
“The only reason that Jerry got on Raw was because Savage walked. When they realized that Savage was not going to be at the taping that night, on site, it was suggested that Lawler do it. You know, it might have been Bruce [Prichard] that suggested it, I don’t know who did it.”
Jerry Lawler joined WWE back in 1993 and he made his debut for the promotion during the Royal Rumble event. On the other hand, Savage who had been fulfilling the color commentator duties since 1991, left the company in November 1994 to join WCW.
WWE is gearing up for the TLC PPV after a successful Survivor Series and a latest report has revealed some of the matches the company has been planning for the upcoming show.
Dave Meltzer recently talked about the upcoming show on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio and revealed that a stipulation match between Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin is currently scheduled for the show.
He also revealed that the company officials are planning for
Charlotte and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to team up and challenge for the
Women’s Tag Team Championship at the event.
Though these are not the only planned matches for the show
and a previous report had revealed that the company had planned a match between
Rusev and Bobby Lashley for Survivor Series but it has now been moved to the
December PPV.
These matches are in line with the ongoing feuds on WWE TV
and the mentioned tag team championship match has even been advertised locally
from a while so it’s very likely that the company will move forward with these
plans.
It’s interesting to note here that out of these three bouts, the match between Corbin and Reigns is rumored to have a very unusual stipulation. You can check out a report on the matter here.
WWE TLC 2019 takes place Sunday, December 15th from Minneapolis, MN.
AEW is the closest competition WWE has seen in the past 2
decades since the demise of WCW and people have their opinion on whether or not
the upstart promotion can ever dethrone WWE and become the #1 wrestling company
in the world.
During a recent interview with Súper Luchas, former TNA star
Hernandez opened up about his time with the company now known as Impact
Wrestling and he also talked about the new player in the game.
However, when asked if All Elite Wrestling can take over WWE
in future, the former champion said that the Vince McMahon owned promotion will
always be number one:
“WWE will always be number one worldwide, it’s not to
say an AEW or another brand do extremely successful as a solid number
two.”
Hernandez also talked about his early days in TNA and how Jim Cornette played an important role in getting him a push in the company.
However, he recalled how Cornette quit the company over creative differences when he was still in the middle of his push and this resulted in his run being halted by the company.
Apart from this, the former TNA star opened up about the company officials’ poor treatment of him when he injured his neck in 2009, being sent to work in Mexico and more. You can check out his full interview here.
Before becoming the Mayor of Knox County, Kane spent more than two decades in WWE as an active performer, during which he developed a strong relationship with the owner of the company Vince McMahon.
During his recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, the former World Champion talked about a number of things, and he also tried to clear a misconception about the Boss.
Kane first revealed that Mr. McMahon was very supportive of
his decision of becoming a mayor and he went on to claim that the perception
that Vince McMahon is a heartless person is not true at all:
“I think that people think Vince McMahon is this
heartless person that takes advantage of everyone, uses people until they are
all used up and then discards the husk of the human being that he has pulled
all of the energy out of. That is frankly not the case at all.
Does Vince McMahon make business decisions? Yes. I told him
to his face one time, the one thing that you are bad at as a businessman is
that you give people too many chances. They stab you in the back and then you
turn around and bring them back.”
The Big Red Monster went on to say that the reason McMahon
gives chances to people is that sometimes he believes that he can make money
off of them and other times he has some sort of emotional bond and loyalty with
them.
This according to the former ECW Champion, is almost a fault with him and this belief about the Boss is the biggest misconception people have about him.
Apart from this, Kane also talked about how his wrestling career helped him in his mayoral campaign, how Vince McMahon wants people to be successful and more. You can check out Kane’s comments in the video below:
Matt Hardy has started a new series on his YouTube channel focused on his ‘Broken’ character recently and it appears that the series called Free The Delete could lead to some very interesting developments for the former champion.
According to reports from PWInsider, Hardy does not have a lot of time left in his current contract with WWE and his current deal with the company is set to expire in February 2020.
While Matt has been discussing a new deal with the company
officials, there is a sticking point in his negotiations with the promotion
which has stopped him from re-signing with the company.
Per the reports, WWE and the former TNA star are not too far
apart on the financial side of things, but the 45-year-old star believes that
his upcoming contract could be his last in professional wrestling.
So the former World Champion wants to be used in a certain way and how he will be used by the company in future is the main point of discussion that is stopping him from signing a new contract.
The YouTube series which Hardy has started producing recently is something he is doing on his own and WWE is not involved in the production. The videos and some of his latest tweets are seen as a preparation for his possible departure from WWE.
While there is still time and Matt Hardy could still reach an agreement with officials, the site indicates that he has no non-compete clause in his contract and the Broken one will be free to perform elsewhere in February if he decides not to re-sign.
The main event of this week’s episode of Raw between Kevin
Owens and Seth Rollins ended with interference from Authors Of Pain and the
show ended with Rollins attacking Owens and talking trash after taking him
down.
Rollins went backstage after the show went off air and Drew
McIntyre came out as Owens was making his way to the stage. McIntyre stopped
and delivered a Claymore Kick to Kevin and then continued his march to the ring.
Drew cut a promo calling out the Fiend Bray Wyatt for a
match as Kevin Owens was helped to the back. During the Chosen One’s promo, the
WWE ring crew set up a steel cage for their upcoming match.
Wyatt accepted this challenge from the Scottish Psychopath and came out to the ring with his usual entrance and the match began with the typical red lighting.
The Fiend destroyed Drew McIntyre in this match and he pinned the former NXT Champion after delivering a Sister Abigail and taking him out with the Mandible Claw. You can check out some glimpses of their bout below:
The Fiend just destroyed Dre McIntyre in a steel cage match after the show. Had a cool barbed wire effect on the cage during the entrance #RAWpic.twitter.com/mRtUNvEt73
Drew McIntyre was part of Team Raw for the men’s elimination match at Survivor Series while Bray Wyatt defeated Daniel Bryan in a singles match on the show. There is no word yet on what the company is planning for either of them after the PPV.
Matt Hardy wrestled a surprisingly short match during his return to Raw this week and he is thanking fans afterward for showing love for his appearance on the show.
Hardy took on his Twitter after this week’s episode of Raw
and commenting on his match on the show, the former Champion said that he is
grateful for all the love from around the world.
However, the broken one then went on to say that he is in a ‘tough and confusing’ period in his life right now. You can check out his tweet on the matter below:
Thanks for all the love from around the world regarding my #RAW appearance tonight.. I AM GRATEFUL.
I’m going through a tough, confusing period of life right now & I appreciate your support. https://t.co/4HhiieVOyH
Matt Hardy made his surprise return to Raw this week and the
former Champion wrestled Buddy Murphy in a singles match. However, the bout
between these two stars ended rather quickly and Murphy was able to defeat the
Attitude Era star.
This was Matt’s first WWE match after competing in the
Battle Royal at the Super Showdown event in June. This was also his first Raw
match in 2019.
There is no word yet on what the company is planning for his future. Matt Hardy is still listed as a part of the SmackDown roster and it would now be interesting to see if the above mentioned tweet leads to some changes in his status.
It appears that Seth Rollins turned heel on this week’s
episode of Raw.
This week’s episode of the show opened with Rollins giving a ‘town hall’ speech to talents of the Raw locker room. He mentioned the brand’s loss to NXT at Survivor Series and told everyone that they ‘sucked’.
He then started calling out individuals such as Randy Orton and Charlotte. The rest of the roster walked out on Seth after this but Kevin Owens remained in the ring and these two set up a match for later in the night after Owens delivered a stunner to Rollins.
The match between the two stars took place in the main event of the show. The bout saw these two going against each other until the Authors Of Pain, who returned to in ring action earlier in the night made their way to the ring.
The team of Akam and Rezar starred down at both the competitors while they were down and they took Kevin Owens out after Owens tried to attack them.
Seth Rollins, who had called out the duo during the opening
segment, then told them to bring the fight but they left without confronting
the former Universal Champion, leaving him confused in the ring.
The Architect then turned his attention to Owens who was struggling to get back up and delivered a Stomp. Seth then delivered another Stomp to Kevin.
The second Stomp resulted in loud boos for the former Champion. The show ended with Rollins talking trash to Owens as fans continued booing the former Shield member. You can check out the video of AOP’s attack below:
It’s unclear whether the Authors Of Pain will be joining
Seth Rollins in near future and we will have to tune in to Raw next week to
find out what the company is planning for the former Universal Champion.
Rhea Ripley was among the stars who worked extra hard during
the Survivor Series weekend and she worked consecutive matches on SmackDown,
Takeover: WarGames and the PPV on Sunday night.
During the recent episode of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall Of
Famer Bully Ray reviewed the PPV and commented on Ripley’s performance during
the weekend.
Ray first praised the NXT UK star saying that she will be a
big star in WWE. However, he then went on to criticize the ending of the
women’s tag team elimination match saying that Rhea should have gotten a clean
victory:
“I didn’t love the way they went about it, though. I would have liked to see Rhea win clean. Here’s my reasoning – did Rhea Ripley pin Charlotte Flair clean on SmackDown? That is as clean as clean gets and does wonders for Rhea, you could have done the same thing.”
Rhea Ripley led the team of NXT in the women’s tag team
elimination match at Survivor Series. Though 2 of her team members in Io Shirai
& Candice LeRae were taken out of the equation after they got injured
during the bout and were escorted backstage.
Sasha Banks and Ripley ended up being the final two contestants of this match but then LeRae and Shirai came back to the ringside area and Rhea won the bout with the help from these two.
Eli Drake was released from Impact earlier this year and many believed that he might end up in WWE or AEW after his release from the company. However, he recently announced that he has signed a contract with NWA.
During his recent appearance on The Steve Austin Show, the now-former Impact star talked about a number of things and explained why he didn’t sign with WWE or AEW.
According to Drake, WWE had shown interest in him for the past few years but he stayed in Impact because they kept giving him a raise. On the other hand, he had a deal worked out with AEW earlier this year but it fell apart:
“There [has] been interest from WWE for the last 3
years, but I kept turning them down because Impact kept giving me raises. AEW,
there was interest there. We kind of had a deal worked out, but that ended up
falling through. And then, I talked to Ring Of Honor. I talked to NWA. The most
appealing offer I had was from NWA.”
Eli Drake made his Impact Wrestling debut in February 2015
and he won a number of championships during his time with the company including
the Impact World Heavyweight Championship once.
However, Drake who criticized intergender wrestling refused to work a match with Tessa Blanchard and he was subsequently released from his contract in April earlier this year.
The debut episode of the Broken Skull Sessions hosted by
Stone Cold Steve Austin which aired after Survivor Series saw the WWE Hall Of
Famer interviewing the Undertaker.
Prior to the airing of the premiere episode of the new series, WWE posted a promo video promoting the show on YouTube in which Steve Austin talked about his experience of interviewing the Phenom.
When asked if he felt nervous on having the legendary Dead
Man as the first guest of his show, the Texas Rattlesnake replied positively
saying that he was indeed a little bit nervous:
“Well, yeah, a little bit, I’m not going to lie to you, it’s the first one out of the gate, I’m used to my one man podcast, shootin’ the breeze, all of sudden you throw in all the production values that WWE throws in and it looks like a million bucks.
It takes it to a whole another level, so you want to do the best you can, but also you’re taken aback just a little bit. I think we worked through that and I’m proud of it.”
Apart from this Steve Austin also talked about how Taker has
shown incredible toughness in his time in the business, their interview turning
into a long Broken Skull session and more.
The debut episode of the Broken Skull Sessions saw The Undertaker talking about his health after 30 years in the wrestling business, his start in the industry and more.
Kylie Rae’s sudden departure from AEW surprised everyone and there have been all kinds of theories and rumors on why the female star decided to ask for her release from the promotion.
The former AEW star finally addressed the speculation surrounding her departure from the upstart promotion in a recent post from her official Instagram account.
While she did not go into details of the reason behind her
decision to leave the company, Rae said that she can only speak for herself and
made it clear that nobody made her leave.
She went on to say that she is grateful for the opportunity
provided by AEW and claimed that the company is made out of people who love
wrestling and they want everyone to succeed.
Though she did give some possible hints on the reason behind her departure saying that we all go through obstacles in life. You can check out her post below:

Kylie Rae had made her AEW debut during the Double Or Nothing PPV back in May where she competed in a women’s fatal four-way match against Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, and Awesome Kong in a bout won by Baker.
While she was advertised for a match at Fyter Fest, the
female star was replaced on the show and in a post-show interview; Tony Khan
confirmed that Rae has left the promotion after asking for her release.
The main event of this week’s episode of SmackDown Live saw the team of Baron Corbin, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler winning a 6 man tag team match against Roman Reigns, Shorty G and Mustafa Ali.
The Raw superstars invaded the show after this bout and the
whole thing quickly turned into a brawl as the SmackDown roster came to the aid
of Reigns and others.
Then came the full force of the NXT roster led by not only Triple H but Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg as well and the episode ended with a big confrontation between Keith Lee and Braun Strowman.
Though the action didn’t end there and after the ring got clear and all the other superstars went backstage, the live audience got to see a small DX reunion with Michaels, Triple H, and Road Dogg.
These three first tricked King Corbin into joining them. The Game and The Heart Break Kid then went on to hit their finishers on the former US Champion. You can check out the video of the segment below:
While both Raw and SmackDown have revealed their teams for Survivor Series, NXT is keeping their participants secret and it would be interesting to see which NXT superstars represent the brands on the PPV this Sunday.

Adam Cole was in the main event of this week’s episode of NXT which managed to beat AEW Dynamite in TV ratings for the first time since the Wednesday night wars began.
Cole recently had an interview with The Wrap after the numbers came out and during the interview, the NXT Champion was asked about his thoughts on their victory.
Replying to it, the NXT star first claimed that he doesn’t “focus too much on the ratings,” but later acknowledged that winning is cool and he went on to say that they had a blast with the guys from Raw and SmackDown joining their show:
“We’re just mainly focused on trying to put on a really exciting, cool show. And last night’s show was just an absolute blast, with the guys from ‘Raw,’ the guys from ‘SmackDown,’ the matches that happened, it was just a really, really cool night and so I’m glad so many people enjoyed it.”
Adam Cole competed in a ladder match against Dominik Dijakovic on NXT this week and won the bout. His win in the match helped him earn the advantage for his team in the upcoming WarGames match.
Though Cole is not the only star who has reacted to this news and both Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho have also shared their thoughts on this week’s ratings recently. You can check out their reactions at this link.
ROH appears to have fired their current Women Of Honor
Champion Kelly Klein.
The news was first confirmed by Klein’s husband BJ Whitmer who took on his Twitter and accused ROH COO Joe Koff of firing the female star via an email:
The women’s champion herself has not commented on the matter directly but she has been sharing tweets from her supporters since the report came out.
Though after the news went viral, a representative from the company reached out to media outlets. They issued the following statement, claiming that they haven’t fired Klein and instead just informed her that she won’t be re-signed :
“We normally don’t discuss these matters but since it seems
to have been made public — We did not fire Kelly but we did notify her that we
would not be re-signing her when her current agreement expires. She is still
under contract through the end of the year.”
Klein’s issues with ROH seem to have initiated when the women’s champion spoke out in support of Joey Mercury. Joey himself left the company in October this year and he has been pointing out issues with the promotion on social media recently.
One issue in particular that seems to have upset ROH officials is an email from GM Greg Gilleland, which Mercury published on social media with permission from Kelly. The email revealed that she was making less than $24,000 a year with the company.
It’s unknown how ROH is planning to move forward with the Women’s Title after the release of Kelly but we’ll keep you posted on any update on the situation.
With the help of appearances from the likes of Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, NXT was able to beat AEW Dynamite in TV ratings this week, for the first time since the start of the Wednesday night wars.
Cody Rhodes was the first AEW star to react to this news and when a fan asked for comments on NXT topping Dynamite in TV ratings, the former Champion explained that it’s an opportunity for them to learn:
Take it on the chin, learn from it, get up off the mat and get to work.
The Le Champion Chris Jericho also reacted to this news in his own style and Y2J reminded everyone that last night’s episode was not a true NXT episode:
Triple H had invited members of Raw and SmackDown roster to
NXT prior to this week’s episode of the show while AEW had announced a Rey
Fenix vs. Nick Jackson match and more for the episode of Dynamite.
This tease from the company helped NXT in gaining a
viewership boost and the show garnered 916,000 viewers which was a massive
increase from last week’s 750,000 viewers.
On the other hand, the Dynamite episode saw a small decline
in audience compared to last week and this week’s episode of the show drew
893,000 viewers, down from the 957,000 viewers of last week.
AEW has announced some big matches for Dynamite next week while NXT will return to its normal programming after the Survivor Series weekend and we will have to wait and see how these changes affect the ratings of their shows next week.
Wrestling is a business of speculation and the latest one of
them is the discussion on whether or not CM Punk’s role at WWE Backstage will
lead to an in-ring return for the former World Champion.
Corey Graves discussed the Straight Edge Star’s return to the WWE fold in the latest episode of his new After The Bell podcast and he also gave his thoughts on his possible return to action.
Graves first admitted that he was shocked like everyone else when he first heard the news on Punk joining WWE Backstage and said that it’s a great move by Fox to gain viewers and get eyes on FS1.
Discussing how this comeback has fuelled the rumors of
Punk’s in-ring return in future, the SmackDown commentator explained that his
appearance proves that you can never say never in WWE:
“This, of course, has fueled rumors and speculation
plenty – is Punk coming back to the WWE fold? Is he going to compete again? Punk
himself has said that he’s not interested in wrestling anymore, but as his
appearance alone proved, you can never say never in the WWE.”
Not every star leaves WWE on amicable terms and there are many veterans who fans believe should be part of Hall Of Fame but they are not inducted because of their strained relationship with the company.
Former Tag Team Champions Demolition who are an example of this situation recently had an interview with WrestlingInc where they talked about a number of things.
When asked about a possible Hall Of Fame induction, Ax implied that they are not allowed backstage at the event anymore and joked that they will have to buy a ticket if they want to attend the show:
“We just have to figure out – we have to make enough
money to buy a ticket. We can’t get in without buying a ticket,”
Though his partner Smash gave a more positive answer and
keeping an attitude of never say never, the former WWE star said “You
never know what’s going to happen.”
Demolition were part of WWE from 1987 to 1993 and held the tag team titles three times during their tenure. However, they tried to use the same gimmicks after their release from the company and were eventually sent a cease and desist letter by the officials.
Ax, real name Bill Eadie then filed a lawsuit against the promotion for the rights of Demolition character in the mid-90s but lost. The team is believed to have strained their relationship with the company further by joining the CTE lawsuit against them in 2016.
After weeks of controversy surrounding the NXT break out tournament winner Jordan Myles, it appears that the story has finally found its closure with Myles’ official release from the company.
Myles had taken his Twitter earlier this week to announce that he is quitting the promotion. He had called WWE a racist company and described Jordan Myles as his slave name.
The star known as ACH in the independent circuit then started being advertised for a number of indie events including a Heavy Metal Wrestling event this Friday night.
When reached out, WWE released a short statement on the
31-year-old star’s advertised appearances, confirming that he is no longer
under contract with the promotion:
“He is no longer under contract.”
ACH was signed by WWE back in February earlier this year and
he made his in-ring debut for NXT in March. He took part in the NXT Breakout
Tournament in July and went on to win the competition.
The controversy surrounding the former NJPW star began when WWE released a T-shirt around the concept that Myles is always smiling but the design for the shirt was met with criticism, with many noting that the pattern resembled blackface.
While the promotion took the shirt down after the accusations from the former NXT star, he kept calling the company out and he finally confirmed that he has quit WWE in a video earlier this month.
CM Punk made his first announced appearance on WWE Backstage this week and he made it clear that he will be pulling no punches when it comes to giving his thoughts on WWE programming.
He called out the company for a number of recent segments which includes describing the Baron Corbin segment from the latest SmackDown as ‘garbage’.
When asked if he is worried about his comments possibly upsetting WWE officials during his interview with The Herd with Colin Cowherd, the Straight Edge Star replied negatively, saying that it’s the appeal of the job:
“I’m not concerned about it, I think honestly that’s
the appeal of the job, I think deep down I loved pro wrestling as a kid and I
think it can be better. I always voiced my concerns and criticisms while I
worked there, and now I don’t work there and now I can’t get in trouble for
it.”
Punk went on to compare his job to Colin who also works as an NFL analyst for Fox in a similar position, and said that he is not here to play a spoiler, but he is not here to pour gasoline and set everything on fire either.
Apart from this, CM Punk also repeated his comments from WWE Backstage about the current product being too overproduced and said that people should be allowed to breathe and be themselves.
You can check out Punk’s comments in the video below:
The main event of this week’s episode of NXT saw Adam Cole defeating Dominik Dijakovic in a ladder match to get the advantage for his team in the upcoming WarGames match at the Takeover event this Saturday.
The rest of the Undisputed Era came out after Cole’s win. However, they got surrounded by talents of Raw and SmackDown rosters and a brawl broke out among these stars.
The ending moments of the show then saw Seth Rollins marking his presence on the show after all the other stars were taken out, and the former Universal Champion was confronted by Tommaso Ciampa.
Though the cameras cut soon after these two came face to face and the show ended as the two former Champions were still fighting in the ring.
WWE later posted a video of these two stars continuing their hostilities after the episode of NXT went off air. You can check out the video the company posted on their YouTube channel below:
Seth Rollins will be leading team Raw consisting of Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre & Ricochet for the traditional Survivor Series elimination match against team SmackDown and team NXT.
The SmackDown team will feature stars such as Roman Reigns,
King Corbin, Ali, Shorty G, and Braun Strowman while NXT is yet to announce the
names who will be representing their brand at the event.
Survivor Series will take place from Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois this Sunday on November 24.
Former WWE star Cameron recently had an interview with The Hannibal TV where she talked about a number of things like her wrestling future and more and she also discussed her departure from the company in detail.
The former WWE star first talked about her life after leaving the promotion. She revealed that she is starring in a TV show called Sipping the Tea and she will be launching a fitness app in 2020. Cameron also confirmed that she is not done with wrestling.
When the topic of her sudden release from WWE in May 2016 came up, the former Raw star revealed that she was never given a reason for her release but she went on to claim that she can put a finger on the reason behind it:
“They never gave me a reason; [but] I can kind of put my finger on why. When the whole Ryback thing happened, at that time too I wasn’t doing anything, so it just gave them;
It was just a perfect moment. If you’re not doing something and you make a little bit of a controversy, it’s just an easy way for them to be like; it’s time to let you go.”
For those unaware, Ryback had published a blog post in May
2016 before his release from the company and said that all WWE performers
should be paid equally because it’s a predetermined sport.
The female star had supported the Big Guy on his remarks via a tweet and this is believed to be the reason why she was let go by the officials.
