Tyson Fury is all set to make his wrestling debut at the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV and the boxing champion has already thought an impressive name for his finishing move for his sports entertainment debut.

Fury recently spoke to media during the official Crown Jewel press conference and he discussed things such as Saudi Arabia becoming a sporting hub and more.

While discussing his upcoming match against the Monster Among Man, the Gypsy King revealed that his finishing move is called the dosser drop and claimed that we are going to see it tomorrow:

“It’s called the dosser drop and you’re going to see it tomorrow night,  It’s an amazing move and it’s going to be an amazing experience for the Saudi Arabian people to see and witness the dosser drop, aka the Gypsy King’s finishing move.”

Fury also talked about his debut being a crossover between WWE and Boxing. He explained that it’s a mammoth of an event that has never been done before in the history of either of the sports.

Tyson Fury will be making his wrestling debut in a one on one match against Braun Strowman at the Crown Jewel PPV from Riyadh. You can check out the final match card and details of our live coverage for the event here.

Seth Rollins Discusses Fans Turning On Him After Hell In A Cell

Seth Rollins was once a universally loved babyface but fan opinion has started to diversify over the last few months and people have especially started criticizing his performance after his recent Hell In A Cell match against Bray Wyatt.

While appearing at the premiere episode of WWE’s new After The Bell podcast, the host Corey Graves asked the Universal Champion how he feels about the fans turning on him and the Architect gave a very honest answer.

Corey discussed how Seth used to be an internet darling during his run as Tyler Black in the independent circuit. The SmackDown commentator then asked the current champion how it feels to see fans turning on him and the former Shield member said that it feels awful:

“It feels awful. It’s not a good feeling to go out there and put your body on the line and not just at Hell In A Cell but every single night. I do what I have to do, when I have to do it.

It’s not always pretty but you go out there and you do your job and people don’t like it and they forget that it is what it is. And so it hurts your feelings. It’s fine, it’s art so you can have your opinion on it but man it’s a tough pill to swallow sometimes.”

Seth Rollins faced Bray Wyatt in a Hell In A Cell match at the WWE PPV of the same name earlier this month and fans highly criticized the fact that their Universal Championship match ended in a referee stoppage.

Apart from this, Rollins also discussed the WWE Universe panning down the Hell In A Cell main event and more. You can check out his comments in the video below and the find the full episode of the podcast on WWE Network:

Natalya And Lacey Evans React To Announcement Of Crown Jewel Match

WWE surprised everyone yesterday by announcing the first-ever women’s match in Saudi Arabia between Natalya and Lacey Evans for the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV.

The company later posted a couple of videos capturing the individual response of these two female superstars on the announcement of the upcoming historic match.

The first video featuring Lacey Evans was shot right after the press conference and talking about the upcoming bout, the Raw Star said that she can’t believe it’s happening:

“Just honored, honored that I get to be a part of this history-making event, and I’m just… I’m blown away. I’m honestly numb right now. I can’t believe that this is happening, and like I said, I’m just blessed that I get to be here.”

Natalya also made similar comments on the matter and in the interview taken a few hours after the announcement the former Divas Champion said that it’s a life-changing event:

“I don’t even feel like it’s really sunk in. For me, it’s just… it’s life-changing.  I can’t believe that I’m getting to do this and I cannot believe that I’m going to be a part of history. I’m just so excited”

Natalya and Lacey Evans will be making history with their singles match at the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV taking place from King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh this Friday.

First-Ever Women’s Match In Saudi Arabia Set For WWE Crown Jewel

Lacey Evans, Lana, and Natalya were all spotted with the rest of the WWE crew at the airport heading to Saudi Arabia recently and now the reason for their visit to the Middle Eastern country has been revealed.

WWE held a special press conference at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh this Wednesday morning and confirmed that they will be having the first-ever women’s match in the country at their upcoming show.

The company announced that Natalya will be facing Lacey Evans in the first-ever women’s match of the territory at the upcoming Crown Jewel Pay Per View event scheduled to take place this Friday.

This is a surprising announcement from the promotion as there was no news of any such match up being planned for the event and nobody was expecting them to make an announcement like this.

This is not the first time the company has tried to hold a women’s match in Saudi Arabia and they had planned a bout between Natalya and Alexa Bliss for the Super Showdown event back in June.

The officials had even flown in these two to the country ahead of the event but they couldn’t get the approval from the Kingdom for this fight and so they were forced to nix the bout at the last minute.

But now they have finally managed to get the approval from the government officials and the company will be making history with this match.

Now we will have to wait and see which one of these two women come out victorious in this historic bout. You can check out the betting odds for the show at this link.

Corey Graves On Which Star He Would Like To Have On His Podcast

Vince McMahon’s last appearance on a podcast made a lot of headlines and it appears that Corey Graves wants to do something similar by inviting the Boss to his upcoming show.

Graves recently had an interview with Newsweek to promote the premiere of his ‘After The Bell’ podcast on Wednesday, October 30 where he discussed things such as the format of his new show and more.

When asked which star he would like to have on his show in future, the SmackDown commentator said that while the likelihood of it happening is very slim, he would like to have the Boss on his podcast:

“Just the fan in me, the guy who loved this business his entire life, my new “white whale” has to be Vince [McMahon]. The likelihood of that happening I’d say is pretty slim to none, but if we’re setting our goals high, I would love to have The Boss.”

After Vince, Corey went on to take the name of Stephanie McMahon as well. He claimed that he would like to sit down with the former Raw Commissioner to set the record straight on who she really is, opposed to the public misconception of her.

Apart from this, Corey Graves also talked about how much creative freedom he will have with the podcast and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.

Sami Zayn On Not Being Allowed To Work Shows In Saudi Arabia

WWE’s shows in Saudi Arabia have been criticized for a lot of reasons and one of them is the fact that a number of stars have not been allowed to work the show due to their political beliefs or even descent such as Sami Zayn.

Zayn recently had an interview with Catch Newz where he discussed things like his new partnership with the current IC Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, trying to form an alliance with Daniel Bryan and more.

When asked about WWE’s deal with Saudi Arabia and the reports that he has been kept away from these shows because of his Syrian origin, the former NXT Champion said that it’s a complicated thing:

“I did a show a few years ago there. But with the new WWE partnership, I have not had a chance to perform. It’s a complicated thing, difficult to explain. But for the moment, I can not say much and that in favor of any side. Maybe it will change, but for now no change. It’s a complicated answer and I do not know how to explain it. “

Sami was also asked about the electric chair segment he did during a Raw episode in May. Fans were allowed to ask him any question they liked and Zayn had made some headlines by mentioning AEW during the angle.

When asked if the WWE Officials were angry over the mention of the rival promotion, the former NXT Star replied negatively, saying that it was only a big story on the internet.

Apart from this, Sami Zayn also talked about his former partners Shane Matthews and Scott Parker joining NXT and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.

Three Female Stars Travel To Saudi Arabia Ahead Of Crown Jewel

While they are not very likely to be wrestling at the upcoming Crown Jewel event, a few female stars of the WWE roster are atleast traveling to Saudi Arabia.

Lana, Natalya and Lacey Evans were recently spotted at airport with other crew members who are traveling to the country for the upcoming event from Riyadh.

https://twitter.com/Ring_Rules/status/1189327396027162631

The Saudi Arabian shows have generally been criticized by fans for not including female performers on the events due to the cultural restrictions of the Middle Eastern country.

There were rumors that the company is trying to get a match between Alexa Bliss and Natalya approved for the Super Showdown event earlier this year and the officials had flown the two in for the same.

However, they didn’t manage to get approval for a match between these two and the female wrestlers ended up making appearances at hospitals and schools instead.

It’s unknown what the three female stars who have traveled to the country this week will be doing there, but it’s likely that they will be making community appearances similar to what Natalya and Bliss did earlier this year.

The Crown Jewel event is currently scheduled to feature 8 matches in total. You can check out the match card and the latest betting odds for the show at this link.

DDP Discusses Not Being Featured On Raw Reunion Because Of His AEW Appearances

The recent reunion special of WWE Raw featured many legends but one name which was missing from the show was DDP and the wrestling legend recently revealed that the reason for it is his association with AEW.

The former WCW star recently had an interview with WrestlingInc where he discussed things such as his DDP yoga program, his recent AEW appearances and more.

Discussing the reunion special of the Red Branded Show, the former World Champion recalled not being called up for the episode and talking to the Performance Center head coach Matt Bloom about it:

“When they didn’t put me on the Legends show [RAW Reunion]…every single Legend and Hall of Famer there, I guess I was getting, ‘ok, we’re not using you anymore D.’ I called down to the PC and talked to Matt Bloom and he said, ‘Listen D. You’re working with those guys now. We’re not gonna have you down here.’ I said ok and thanks for letting me know,”

Though DDP went on to say that WWE has been very great to him. He claimed that he is grateful for his Hall Of Fame induction and the Royal Rumble appearance and he loves all the guys there.

Apart from this DDP also confirmed that he is not under any kind of contract with AEW and discussed a possible in-ring return. You can check out his comments about possibly returning to action in future at this link.

Seth Rollins Wrestles Again After Raw Goes Off Air

Although ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt was moved to SmackDown Live during the drafts, he has continued working on the Raw brand and this week’s episode of the Red Branded Show only continued this trend.

While Wyatt was not used on TV for the show, he once again challenged the Universal Champion Seth Rollins for his title after the episode from Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri went off air.

These two faced each other in a steel cage match with The Fiend’s signature red lighting. Seth won the bout after he delivered several Stomps to his opponent and then climbed out of the cage.

The lights went out after the match was over and it came back to Wyatt attacking the Universal Champion with Mandible Claw. Bray kept the Claw applied for a minute. He then made his exit to end the show, leaving the Architect lying behind.

Though this wasn’t Seth’s first match of the night and he also competed against Erick Rowan in a Falls Count Anywhere match during the broadcast of the episode. The former Shield member had won this match as well.

It’s unknown how long WWE will continue using Bray Wyatt for Raw shows but it’s likely that he will start traveling with the Blue Brand permanently after his upcoming match with Seth Rollins at the Crown Jewel PPV.

Jinder Mahal Reveals When He Found Out About His WWE Title Loss

Jinder Mahal had a considerably long run with the WWE Championship back in 2017, though his title reign came to an abrupt end when he lost the belt to AJ Styles during the  November 7 episode of SmackDown, prior to Survivor Series.

During his recent interview with TalkSport, the former Champion discussed a number of things and he also revealed when he found out about his title loss.

Mahal claimed that he was told about it on the day of the show itself, just like he had found out about his WWE title win on the day of his victory:

“[I found out I was going to lose the title] the day of the tapings in Manchester, the day of. AJ was in and I was out just like that. That’s the thing though: I found out I was becoming WWE champion in one day. I won it in one day and I lost it in one day. But, that’s the way it goes.”

The former titleholder went on to talk about how this is an example of how things can change in WWE and he then recalled watching the various events in his childhood.

Jinder Mahal won the WWE Championship by defeating Randy Orton in a singles match at Backlash 2017. His reign lasted for almost 170 days before he dropped the title to AJ Styles.

Apart from this, Jinder also talked about his injury, what he plans to do in his time away from the ring and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.

CM Punk On If He Has Closed The Door For Return To Athletic Competition

CM Punk continued the media rounds for the promotion of his new film Girl on the Third Floor by talking to App.com recently and during the interview, he discussed things like his wrestling career helping him in acting and more.

Apart from his upcoming movie, the former WWE Champion has also been in news due to reports associating him with a possible role at WWE Backstage. However, what fans really want to know is if the former Champion has closed the door for an in ring return.

When asked if the door for his return to athletic competition is closed, the former WWE star said that he is not closing it all the way and we have to wait and see what happens:

“I don’t think so. I’m not closing it all the way, but I’m no spring chicken, you know what I mean? I don’t like to close doors that I eventually want to re-open, possibly, in the future, so we’ve just got to wait and see what happens.

The Straight Edge Star went on to explain his comments revealing that he hasn’t been able to train for two weeks in the same spot in recent times and we’ll see what happens when he is done with the promotion of the movie.

There hasn’t been a lot of update on CM Punk’s possible return for the WWE Backstage gig but Punk himself had recently claimed that he hasn’t heard back from Fox Officials since his tryouts. You can check out his comments on the matter at this link.

NXT Star Makes Main Roster Debut, Becky Lynch On The Opening Segment Of Raw

NXT Star Catalina Garcia made her main roster debut on Raw this week after being signed by the company earlier this year and joining the performance center in mid-August.

She wore a mask for her debut and accompanied Sin Cara for his rematch against Andrade. Garcia’s presence helped Cara in equaling the odds with Zelina Vega but Andrade still managed to win the bout.

Catalina has worked a few matches at NXT Live Events after making her debut for the brand during a live event on October 10th. It’s unknown if she will stick around the main roster after this appearance or if she will be sent back to development.

Becky Lynch On The Opening Segment Of Raw

The opening segment of this week’s Raw saw former Diva’s Champion Paige introducing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Kabuki Warriors. However, the whole segment ended with one half of the tag team in Asuka spitting green mist into her face.

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch later faced the other half of the current tag champs, Kairi Sane in a singles match. Despite the distraction from Sane’s partner Asuka, the Man was able to win this bout.

After the show was over, Lynch was asked about the Kabuki Warriors’ treatment of the former SmackDown General Manager. Replying to it, Becky said that she respects Paige but she was out there to fight her own battles:

Corey Graves On How WWE Stars Feel About Going To Saudi Arabia For Crown Jewel

The Saudi Arabian shows of WWE are one of the most successful but controversial events produced by the company. While many of the top talents have decided to keep their distance from these shows, no star has publicly revealed their feelings on the matter.

Corey Graves spoke to Sports Illustrated recently in order to promote his upcoming “After the Bell” podcast where among other things the SmackDown commentator also explained how the WWE stars feel about going to the country.

The former NXT star said that most of the talents like the trip because of it being a good payday. He then went on to claim that it’s a super exciting show if you take the political feeling out of it:

“It’s a long, grueling trip over there, but most of the talent like it because it’s a pretty good pay day, to me, it’s super exciting to have these totally unusual attractions like Cain Velasquez-Brock Strowman and Tyson Fury-Braun Strowman.

If you take any sort of political feeling out of the equation, aren’t you, as a fan of WWE, aren’t you curious and excited to watch these attractions?”

While the Saudi Arabian shows continue to feature many big names, the controversy surrounding the original Crown Jewel event made some stars reconsider their decision.

Names such as Daniel Bryan and John Cena have avoided working in the country since then but these stars have never commented on the matter publicly.

The After the Bell podcast will premiere this Wednesday and the inaugural episode of the show will feature stars such as Triple H, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.

CM Punk Says He Never Heard Back After WWE Backstage Audition

While reports seem to suggest that Fox has finalized CM Punk for a role at the WWE Backstage, the former World Champion himself is claiming that he hasn’t heard back from the network since his tryouts.

The former WWE Star was recently a guest on Barstool Sports’ My Mom’s Basement podcast where he discussed things such as how pro wrestling has helped his acting career, doing MMA commentary and more.

CM Punk’s WWE Backstage Tryout

When asked for an update on all the rumors about him joining the new WWE studio show, the Straight Edge superstar claimed that he hasn’t heard back from the Fox Officials since his audition late last month:

“I did the FOX thing, they asked me to come out and I was already in LA, so I went into the FOX studios. I guess you could call it an audition? I haven’t heard a thing. I was told WWE wasn’t involved, but who knows? It could be why I haven’t heard anything yet.”

Punk went on to provide more details on his tryout. He revealed that he made it clear to the Fox officials that he wouldn’t be there just to sh*t on everything.

While the former WWE Champion is saying that he hasn’t heard back from the television network, his actions seem to indicate that he is gearing up for something big.

Though nothing is confirmed at this point and we will have to wait and see if the rumors of CM Punk joining WWE Backstage actually come true.

The current Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently had an interview with DualShockers while promoting the WWE 2K20 video game and during the interview, she was asked if she thinks we will see another all women’s PPV anytime soon.

Replying to the question, The Man explained that she doesn’t want to have the show because it’s politically correct and instead she would like to have an event only featuring the female competitors when there are enough interesting storylines for it:

“I don’t want to see anything forced— like we feel like we have to give an all women’s PPV because it is “politically correct”. Let it (happen) because all the storylines are so goddamn interesting!”

Becky Lynch was part of the first all women’s WWE PPV where she successfully defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against ‘The Queen’ Charlotte Flair in a Last Woman Standing match.

Apart from this, the current champion also talked about being featured on WWE 2K20, holding the Up Up Down Down championship and more. You can check out her full interview in the video below:

He sent over pictures of me and Alicia Fox and we both got hired. They [WWE] liked us and we moved to Louisville.”

Roman Reigns Apparently Hurt During Live Event

WWE recently confirmed that the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods suffered an injury during Sunday’s Live Event from Sydney but it appears that he is not the only star who got hurt during the night.

The main event of the Sydney show was a tag team steel cage match between the teams of Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan and Luke Harper & Erick Rowan and fans in attendance noted that Roman appeared to have suffered some damage during the match.

Fans noted that the former World Champion took a bump between the cage wall and the ropes during the bout. While he did finish the match, Reigns appeared to be hurting on his way back to the ramp.

The Big Dog also signaled a medic and a WWE Official about his injury and the two spoke to him as the former Shield member made his way to the backstage area.

Xavier Woods also suffered an injury while competing in a tag team match at the show and WWE has since confirmed that he suffered an Achilles injury and due to it he will not be able to complete the current tour of Australia.

However, so far WWE has not acknowledged Reigns’ injury officially and there have been no other updates on the matter either so it’s hard to say if it’s serious. We’ll keep you posted on his status.

Seth Rollins Defends Universal Title Against The Fiend After Raw (Video)

Before their upcoming encounter at the Crown Jewel PPV, Seth Rollins and ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt met each other in a singles match at this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

The match which took place after the show went off air saw the Universal Champion defending his title against the former leader of the Wyatt Family inside a steel cage and WWE used the same red lighting as Hell In A Cell for this bout.

The closing moments of this fight saw Bray trying to execute a Sister Abigail on his opponent but the former Shield member countered the move with a kick.

He then delivered a Stomp to the former WWE Champion and crawled out of the cage door to win the fight. While Seth retained the Universal title with this move, the show didn’t end there.

Wyatt got back to his feet quickly after the match was over and stared at the Universal Champion as the former Authority Member made his way to the ring.

The arena then went black and the red lights came back. After the blackout, fans found Bray at the ringside with the Mandible Claw applied to the current champion.

The lights went out once again after this and Wyatt’s laughter echoed through the arena. The show then ended with The Fiend being spotted on the stage with a spotlight focused on him.

These two stars will now face each other in a Falls Count Anywhere match at the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV on October 31 and the company has announced that the match between these two can’t be stopped for any reason.

NXT Star Removed From WWE Roster

NXT Star Kacy Catanzaro’s profile has been removed from the roster page on WWE.com, suggesting that the female star is no longer with the company.

There were some reports about Catanzaro suffering a back injury in September last year and it was said that the NXT star was looking to leave the company due to it, though she was still under contract at the time.

Her boyfriend Ricochet had also commented on the matter shortly after the news came in saying that she was not injured and there is nothing wrong with her.

Kacy Catanzaro took part in a WWE tryout back in January 2017 and in August, WWE announced that they have signed the female star to a development contract.

She reported to the performance center in January 2018 and made her in-ring debut for the promotion during an NXT live event on April 19, in Sanford, Florida.

Kacy then took part in the second Mae Young Classic tournament where she defeated Reina Gonzalez in the first round of the competition but lost to Rhea Ripley in the second round.

While her removal from the WWE website suggests that the wrestling star is no longer with the company, so far there has been no official confirmation of the same. We will keep you posted on any further updates on the situation.

Luchasaurus On The Origin Of His Name

There is no shortage of bizarre names in the wrestling world but they are mostly chosen by the promoters or the wrestlers themselves. However, Luchasaurus is a rare case where it were the fans who came up with the name.

The AEW Star recently appeared on the Talk Is Jericho podcast and during the show; he discussed the origin of his name, revealing that it were the fans in Lucha Underground who came up with it.

The former Lucha Underground star recalled how fans were chanting something during his debut for the company. He thought they were chanting ‘You Just Started’ and realized what they were really saying only after he returned to backstage:

“I went to the back and my good friend John Morrison was back there and I asked him how it was. I think they hated it, but he said, no man, they were chanting, ‘Luchasaurus!’ I’m like, what? What is that? He said I don’t know but I think you should run with it”

After this, Luchasaurus, who was in need to reinvent his character decided to go with the name. He started using it in independent circuit in November 2017.

He did face some difficulties getting booked with the name initially because people were not taking it seriously, but the wrestling star did not give up. Now he has become one of the fan favorites in AEW using the persona which was given to him by fans themselves.

Roman Reigns On Possible Singles Match With The Rock

Roman Reigns recently had an interview with TVinsider to promote the upcoming WWE 2K20 video game releasing on October 22 and the former World Champion discussed a number of things during his interview.

We are almost 6 months away from WrestleMania but fans have already started speculating about the possible bouts on the show and one of the most interesting matches which have been rumored is between Roman Reigns and The Rock.

When asked about possibly stepping foot inside the ring with the Great One, Reigns said that they would do well as a tag team but fans would have to be overwhelming about it if they want to see a one on one encounter between them:

“It would have to be something the fans are just overwhelming about, they have to make it very clear this is the matchup they want. Then we have to take into account our family and the way that affects us and the way we’d tell our story.”

During the interview, Roman also talked about being around the People’s Champion and learning from him, saying that he is a wealth of knowledge and a great person to rely on.

Apart from this, Roman Reigns also talked about Becky Lynch being the cover star of WWE 2K20, his leukemia diagnosis and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.

Bret Hart Recalls Vince McMahon Lying To Him About His First WWE Title Reign

WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart recently appeared on the Prime Time With Sean Mooney podcast where the former World Champion discussed a number of things and also recalled his first run with the WWE Championship.

Bret won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the first time when he defeated Ric Flair in a one on one match during a Superstars taping back in October 1992.

Recalling the time after his win, the WWE Hall Of Famer revealed that Vince McMahon had told him that he would be the champion for a long time:

“Vince had said to me from the day I won the title, he said, ‘You don’t have to worry about anything. We’re looking at you as a long-term champion. You’re going to be champion here for a long time. We’re thinking 6, maybe 7 years.'”

Hart went on to explain that his reign would have been reminiscent of Bruno Sammartino’s time where the champion held on to the belt for a long time before dropping it and he was told that Hulk Hogan would not have any influence over it.

However, this did not turn out to be the case and Bret lost the title just 6 months later when he was defeated by Yokozuna in the main event of WrestleMania IX.

Yokozuna was then defeated by a returning Hulk Hogan in an impromptu match and Hogan won the WWE Championship in a match that lasted only 22 seconds.
