Watch: What Happened With Damian Priest After SmackDown Went Off Air

While both Matt Riddle and Damian Priest weren’t part of the Extreme Rules go-home SmackDown, they did get to compete in a dark match after the episode.

The main event of this week’s season premiere episode of the Blue Branded show saw Gunther once again putting the IC title on the line against Sheamus.

At one point during the bout, Gunther tapped out to a Clover Leaf from Sheamus but the referee didn’t see it and the match continued.

The ending of the bout saw Giovanni Vinci, Ludwig Kaiser, Butch and Ride Holland all coming out to the ring side. These four brawled as Gunther hit Sheamus with a shillelagh and picked up the win.

What Happened After SmackDown

Damian Priest and Riddle came out and had a fun match after the cameras stopped rolling. Priest tried to walk out of the bout at one point but the Ultimate Bro brought him back.

The ending of the match saw Riddle hitting an RKO on the Judgement Day member and then pinning him for the victory.

This was the final episode of SmackDown before the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV. WWE dropped many more White Rabbit clues on the show and teased the reveal at the upcoming PPV.

Finn Balor Addresses Critiques of WWE Being Overproduced

Triple H has made many big and small changes to the WWE programming since coming to power. One such subtle change is that stars are now allowed to interact with each other in backstage segments. Finn Balor believes that backstage activities in segments help the product feel more authentic.

The former Universal champion recently had an interview with SHAK Wrestling. He was asked about the recent changes in WWE programming, specifically the changes in the production of backstage segments. Replying to it, Balor mentioned how WWE has been guilty of overproducing things in the past. According to the Judgement Day leader, a rougher product feels more authentic:

“Yeah, and I also feel like maybe in the past we’ve been guilty of overproducing things, and it doesn’t feel as natural. For me, if I look back and watch like an old WCW episode, and there’s like a backstage scene or promo or a beat down, you’ll see people walking. Like leaving the building that have already finished a match, [or] entering the building that haven’t performed yet.

That was natural. I feel like that element needs to really be emphasized in wrestling. This is live TV. It shouldn’t really be as produced as perhaps it was in the past. I feel like maybe the rougher edgier it is, the more authentic it will be.”

Tony Khan Reacts To AEW Dynamite Third Year Anniversary Viewership

The AEW Dynamite episode this week made more headlines for what happened behind the scenes between Andrade and Sammy Guevara, but the whole debacle seemed to have peaked people’s interest in the show regardless.

This week’s episode of the show celebrating the third anniversary of the weekly series, averaged 1.038 million viewers on TBS.

AEW President Tony Khan didn’t miss the opportunity to comment on the show’s viewership and he thanked everyone who watched the Dynamite episode:

“Thank you every one of you over 1 million live viewers who watched the #AEWDynamite 3 Year Anniversary Show last night! 18 out of 19 weeks (hurricane coverage the lone exception) in Wednesday’s Top 2 Shows on Cable 18-49!”

This week’s episode of the show featuring a tag team match between Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs. Bryan Danielson & Daniel Garcia did a 0.33 rating in the key demo.

In comparison, last week’s episode of the show featuring the Chris Jericho vs Bandido match in the main event drew 990,000 viewers with an 0.34 rating.

AEW will also be presenting a live episode of Rampage this week to celebrate the 2-year anniversary of Brodie Lee’s last match in the company.

While the match between Andrade and Dark Order’s 10 has been removed from the show after the backstage altercation, the event will still feature a number of interesting bouts including one for the AEW World Trios Championship.

Sammy Guevara Is ‘Exhausted’ Of All The Drama In Wrestling

Sammy Guevara is tired of the backstage drama in wrestling.

The AEW star has made many headlines in the last few weeks. Most of it however has been about his behavior behind the scene rather than his work on TV. Whether it be his altercation with Eddie Kingston or the recent exchange with Andrade, Guevara has constantly been part of negative press coverage pertaining to the company.

The former TNT champion apparently addressed the latest accusations against him on his Vlog. Sammy Guevara claimed that he tries to mind his own business. Still somehow, he finds himself being targeted every couple of weeks:

“There’s just so much drama that goes on in wrestling, it’s really exhausting, It’s tiring. Seems like every couple of weeks is something. I’m minding my own business, on vacation, and then, you know, people want to start drama with me. It is what it is. It’s the life I signed up for, I suppose. But it’s definitely tiring and maybe I’ll need to go on another vacation next week because [it’s] stressful.”

The heat between Sammy Guevara and Andrade came to light after the latter spoke about the former in a recent interview. The former NXT champion claimed that Guevara complained to him about being too stiff in the ring. Sammy has since fired back saying that Andrade would be jobless if it wasn’t for his father in law Ric Flair.

Tony Khan On Chris Jericho Stepping Up As Locker Room Leader

The one good thing among all the backstage chaos in AEW in the last few months has been the emergence of competent locker room leaders. One name in particular that has received praise for his efforts is Chris Jericho. There have been many stories of Y2J helping people behind the scenes and Tony Khan thinks that it’s something that you cannot put a price tag on.

The AEW President recently had an interview with My Mom’s Basement podcast. Among other things, he was asked about the stories of the former AEW champion stepping up as a locker room leader. Replying to it, Khan first mentioned how Jericho has stepped up his game on screen:

“Yeah. Chris, he’s stepped up in every way this year. Chris has always been a huge part of AEW, I think it’s a microcosm of what Chris has done this year.” said Tony Khan, “He stepped up on screen. You can see it on his face and in his body. In his wrestling and the quality of matches.”

‘You Can’t Put A Price Tag On That’: Tony Khan

Speaking about his role behind the scenes, Tony Khan mentioned that Chris Jericho has been helping anyone who needs it. Per TK, Jericho is giving back to the business in more than one way:

“He’s also stepped up his game backstage, trying to help other people with their interviews and then if he sees somebody that needs help, he’ll go and try to help them. I think that’s really cool. For a lot of people either in the ring, or backstage, that mentorship from Chris, you can’t put a price tag on that.

He’s really given back to the wrestling business in so many ways. What he also does is gives to the fans because some of my favorite stuff in the last few decades involves Chris and a lot of it is here. He’s just having a great year.”

Drew McIntyre Is Not A Fan Of Logan Paul Getting A World Title Shot

WWE’s decision to put Logan Paul in a world title match at Crown Jewel has divided fan opinion. Drew McIntyre seems to be opposed to the idea of the YouTube star getting a world title shot without working his way up the card.

The former WWE champion recently had an interview with MySanantonio.com. He talked about things such as his match against Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle.

Speaking about the upcoming match between Paul and Roman Reigns, McIntyre said that he understands the celebrity involvement. However, he then explained that the title should be reserved for people who have put in the time:

“Logan Paul has done a great job, but I don’t know about fighting for the titles. I think the titles should be reserved for people who worked up the card and put the time in.

It will be a spectacle and Roman will smash him and people will talk about it.” said Drew McIntyre, “That is what it is all about, I guess.”

The Scottish Warrior then claimed that he will do exactly the same and work his way up to get another chance to win the WWE Universal championship. He will beat the entire Bloodline to get his hands on the world title again.

Apart from this, Drew McIntyre talked about things such as Vince McMahon retiring from WWE and more. You can check out his full interview here.

Watch: Top Stars Brawl After Raw Goes Off Air

Seth Rollins and Riddle continued their very personal rivalry on this week’s episode of Raw and the build-up for their match continued even after the show went off air.

The main event of this week’s episode of the brand saw Io Sky defeating Alexa Bliss in a one-on-one match with help from her Damage CTRL partners. An injured Asuka tried to save both Bliss and Bianca Belair from a post-match beatdown.

The WWE faction, however, managed to get the upper hand. The show ended with a shot of Bayley, IO Sky and Dakota Kai all holding championship gold on top of a ladder.

What Happened After Raw Went Off Air

Both Riddle and Seth Rollins were featured in a very personal promo segment on the show. Daniel Cormier also made an appearance on the Titan Tron and said that he’ll see them both in Philadelphia.

The on-air segment ended with Rollins knocking Riddle’s hat and heading to the back. Though this wasn’t the end of the night for these stars and they were involved in a brawl after the cameras stopped rolling:

Raquel Rodriguez Names Hall Of Famer She Would Like To Face

WWE has found a resident giant for the women’s roster in form of Raquel Rodriguez. Joining the wrestling world in 2014, the former NXT talent is already making strides in WWE’s women’s division. She has taken inspiration from many WWE Hall of Famers for her character. It’s no surprise that one of them is also her dream opponent.

One half of the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions recently had an interview with Under The Ring podcast. She first talked about her training days. Rodriguez named the people she watched to learn how to act in the ring:

“I did of course watch a lot of the bigger men and bigger women; I would watch a lot of Chyna. I would watch a lot of Beth Phoenix. I watched a lot of the Big Show, but one name in particular when I was just starting out at NXT was, of course, Stan Hansen. I love Stan Hansen, because he was just so wild and unruly.”

‘Absolute Gem Of A Human Being’: Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel Rodriguez was then asked which star from the wrestling history she would like to face if given a chance. The former NXT star unsurprisingly took the name of Beth Phoenix, saying that she would love to learn from The Glamazon:

“Oh I would love to step in the ring with Beth Phoenix. I’ve said this before she has been an inspiration to me, an idol. She represents strength and beauty and brawns. I think she is just an absolute gem of a human being. I would love to step in the ring and learn from her.

– Rhea Ripley

“I’m generally really having fun out there and everything that I’m doing comes so naturally to me because it’s just how I would react to things.”

Edge and The Judgement Day

Rhea Ripley has come a long way since her NXT UK days where she was an upbeat babyface. The Judgement Day member commented on how she never really planned this direction for herself:

“I thought that I was just going to fit in with everyone and be this real upbeat babyface, but that’s because that’s what I was as a kid.

I never really planned on going this way but it’s also just how I’ve also evolved as a human being and how I’ve been portrayed on TV as well.”

Apart from this, Ripley also talked about her storyline with Dominick Mysterio. She claimed that she is glad Dominik is finally coming into his own.

AEW Star Tells Unhappy Talents To ‘Get The F**K Out’

The October 7 episode of Rampage will mark the two-year anniversary of Brodie Lee’s last match. AEW has announced a very interesting match between Andrade and Dark Order’s 10 for this show.

The stipulation for the match is that 10 will have to give up his mask if he loses the battle while the former La Sombra will ‘leave AEW forever’ if he loses the bout.

With reports of Andrade being unhappy with his spot in AEW, this stipulation is making many wonder if this will be his last appearance for the company.

10 Takes Aim At Andrade

The war of words between the two AEW stars has also picked up before the upcoming match. Preston “10” Vance recently made a very interesting tweet, telling people who are unhappy with the company to ‘get the fuck out’:

“This isn’t just for me. This is for Dark Order. This is for Brodie. This is to show the world why I’m still handpicked. See ya bitch. Next week we show the world what Friends In Dark Places is all about. If you don’t wanna be here get the fuck out. Now that’s cowboy shit.”

AEW will be presenting a rare live edition of Rampage from the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington DC this Friday.

Who are you rooting for in this upcoming stipulation match? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

‘None Of Us Were Happy’: Kurt Angle Reflects On Disappointing WrestleMania Debut

Kurt Angle had one of the most impressive rookie years in WWE. He won multiple titles during his first year on the main roster and also made his WrestleMania debut. The Mania match however turned out to be a disappointing affair.

The Olympic Gold Medallist talked about his WrestleMania debut in 2000 on his podcast. Kurt agreed with the criticism that the first fall of the match should have been for the European title instead of the IC Championship:

“Yeah, I agree. I think the Intercontinental title should have been second title that was defended at WrestleMania. After the Intercontinental title [that] Benoit won, I don’t think the fans cared who was gonna win the European title.” said Kurt Angle, “Because that title was way below the Intercontinental title.”

‘None Of Us Were Happy’: Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle later discussed how all three of the competitors were nervous going into the bout. It was the first WrestleMania match for all three of them and none came out too pleased with how it went:

“None of us were happy about the match. We all thought that could have been better.”

– Kurt Angle

The crowd reaction to the bout was disappointing as well. Kurt Angle admitted that the bad reception to the match didn’t help the spirits of the competitors:

“We weren’t sure why [the crowd didn’t like it]. I don’t know if it was because the Intercontinental title was decided first, cause the crowd was pretty alive up until then, and it kind of died after.”

For those who don’t know, WrestleMania 2000 saw Kurt Angle defending both the Intercontinental Championship and European Championship. What could have been an amazing two fall triple threat match between Angle, Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit however, ended up being one of the lowest rated matches on the card.

This was because WWE decided to save the European title for the second fall of the bout instead of the IC title which was more prestigious. The crowd lost interest in the match halfway through because of this.

Heath Slater On How Impact Wrestling Treated Him During Injury

Heath Slater is enjoying his run in Impact wrestling. Though his start with the company wasn’t ideal and he got hurt only hours after signing a contract with the promotion. Thankfully they took good care of him during his time off.

The Impact Wrestling star recently had an interview with Paltrocast. He was asked if he intended to stay with the promotion for 2 years when he signed. Replying to it, Slater claimed that it was definitely the plan since he signed a two-year contract:

“Well, I definitely wanted to stay for two years because I signed the contract for two years. What was crazy is that the day that I signed the contract, not even four hours later I got hurt.” recalled Heath Slater, “So it was one of those, ‘Oh no, what the hell just happened?’ Type deal.

But thank God they stuck with me. They extended my contract that 11 months. It was one of those like sign of respect things where they stuck with me. They paid me throughout to where I’m just like, I tip my hat to ’em.”

‘Have My Cake And Eat It Too’: Heath Slater

After following the gruesome WWE schedule for over a decade, Heath Slater finds the Impact schedule to be very easy. He explained that it allows him to be the father he wants to be while also being a wrestler:

“With Impact scheduled, usually you’re off for two weeks. Then the third week, you go out and do the TV tapings or the Pay Per View tapings. If there is a PPV tapings, you’re still home for a full week before you have to go out.

I do get time to be the dad, the father that I am and love to be. I don’t miss out on too much anymore. It’s like I kind of have my cake and eat it too because I get to do that life, and I get to wrestle.”

Updated: AEW Programming Leaving Space Network In Several Countries

AEW confirmed via an announcement on Friday night that their shows will no longer be airing through broadcaster Space in several countries.

The company sent out a press release on Twitter, confirming that fans in Mexico, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean will no longer have access to AEW programming through space:

“To our fans in Mexico, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean… we want to thank you for watching AEW on Space. However, we have an update to share. As of September 30, AEW content will no longer be available on Space, with the exception of Brazil.”

The press release noted that fans will still be able to watch all their weekly shows on AEW Plus through a subscription.

Update: Dave Meltzer noted on Twitter that the call was made by AEW. The company believes that it will make more money by leaving the Space Network:

The timing of this change is very curious. There has been a lot of discussion surrounding the recent Warner Bros Discovery merger. People have been debating how it may affect AEW’s relationship with the network.

The timing of the announcement also suggests that it’s something that the company doesn’t want the fans to pay much attention to.

So AEW abruptly ending its relationship with a Warner-owned network in several countries is something that’s garnering people’s attention.

There is now curiosity over the promotion’s next move in these regions and where the AEW programming can end up. We will keep you posted on any updates.

Waltman explained that he is happy making sporadic appearances for the company every now and then and live stress-free the rest of the time:

The Attitude Era star later mentioned that the backstage environment in wrestling can get pretty combative due to clash of opinions at times, and said that he likes to stay slightly removed from that.

WWE has announced a D-Generation X reunion to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the group during the October 10th episode of Raw. Sean Waltman is expected to make an appearance on the show alongside other members of the faction.

Chris Jericho Tells Funny Story About Roman Reigns’ Dad

Chris Jericho comes from a time when kayfabe was protected by wrestlers and the general public wasn’t aware that wrestlers were playing characters. This led to some fascinating situations while also giving birth to many funny stories. Jericho recently told one such story from his childhood about Sika Anoa’i, the father of Roman Reigns.

Y2J was joined by Evan Husney & Jason Eisener, the producers of Dark Side of The Ring on the latest episode of Talk Is Jericho. The duo were promoting their new series called Tales From The Territories. During the episode the trio shared various stories from the territory era of wrestling.

Speaking about how people believed in kayfabe back in the day, Chris Jericho recalled his childhood. He remembered how he believed the stories about Sika being a wild Samoan. Jericho was left surprised when he heard him talking in English:

“It was like that when I was a kid. I remember I used to go hang out at the Polo Park Inn in Winnipeg and just watch pro wrestlers. That’s where they all used to stay. Sika who’s actually Roman Reigns’ dad, came in. He was from Samoa. They actually would do vignettes of Mr. Fuji having him eat raw fish and he couldn’t speak English.

I walked up with a with a pen and a paper and I was like, ‘Please….sign. Sign name. You…sign name with the pen. He looked at me. He goes ‘Fuck off, kid,’ and I didn’t care that he told me to F off, all I cared was like ‘He speaks English! Did anybody else hear that?'”

Fans in the arena for this week’s episode of SmackDown got to witness a dream match between two wrestling veterans after the show went off air.

The main event of this week’s episode of the Blue Branded Show saw Drew McIntyre teaming up with Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano for a six men tag team match.

These three faced the team of Austin Theory and The Alpha Academy. McIntyre delivered a Claymore to Theory to pick up the victory for his team. The show ended with Drew hitting Theory with a leather strap.

What Happened After SmackDown

While the cameras stopped rolling after this, the action didn’t stop. WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther came out to defend his title in a dark match.

He faced wrestling veteran Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match. Gunther won the bout to retain his title but Nakamura delivered a Kinshasa at the end to send the crowd home happy.

This is the second time in two weeks that Nakamura and Gunther have come face to face. They were on the opposite side of a dark tag match on last week’s episode of the show.

The former NXT UK champion is currently engaged in a feud with Sheamus. This might be an indication of what’s next for him once he has dealt with the Celtic Warrior.

Update On Robert Roode Amid WWE Absence

Robert Roode has seemingly provided an update on his status amid the various rumors about his absence from the WWE ring.

The former NXT champion recently posted a photo on Instagram on Thursday. He tagged in Southlake Orthopaedics and noted that he recently had a medical procedure done in Birmingham, AL:

“Heading home after what is hoped to be a successful trip to Birmingham AL. Big thank you to @southlakeortho and @andrews_sports_medicine for taking great care of me this week. Especially to the first class medical staff of Dr Micheal Ellerbusch , Dr Andrew Cordover and Dr Charles Carnel.”

Robert Roode joined WWE back in 2016. He had a successful run in NXT where he won the brand’s top title once during his tenure.

The former TNA world champion made his main roster debut in August 2017. He has been a regular for WWE programming ever since and has won multiple titles in the company.

Roode however, hasn’t been seen on WWE programming in the recent while. His last match came on June 25 where he competed against Omos on a live event.

There is no word on if Robert Roode is expected to stay out of action following the medical procedure. We will keep you posted on his status.

Drew McIntyre Reveals Who He Would Like To Induct Him Into Hall Of Fame

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus have had very similar career paths. They both started their wrestling careers around the same time and got signed by WWE less than a year apart. Both the stars were positioned as future main eventers from early on in Raw and SmackDown respectively.

While their careers differed a bit after that, both have had a resurgence in the last few years. More importantly, they have been best friends through all these ups and downs and their friendship has only gotten stronger with time

During a recent interview with the Hollywood Raw podcast, the Scottish Warrior was asked which star he would like to induct him into the Hall of Fame. It’s only fitting that Drew McIntyre took the name of Sheamus:

‘It’s Gotta Be Sheamus’: Drew McIntyre

“Oh God, it’s gonna end up being Sheamus, ain’t it? He’s been there since before we both got signed. The good times, the bad times. I am best man at his wedding coming up. He was best man at my wedding.

We give each other hell all the time. As everybody sees, we fight more than me and my actual brother. What people get to see on TV as well as backstage they don’t get to see. But yeah, it’s gotta be Sheamus.”

Both Drew McIntyre and Sheamus wrestled in highly praised matches during the Clash At The Castle PPV. The Celtic Warrior has since continued his feud with Gunther while McIntyre has been pulled from the road due to food poisoning.

Update On MJF’s Absence, How Warner Bros Feel About His Return

After several months of absence, MJF is back on AEW programming. He is also making media appearances once again and claiming that he is getting paid a lot more money than he did before.

We have an update on the AEW star’s absence and how he spent his time away from the promotion, courtesy of Fightful Select.

MJF himself has been claiming that he didn’t leave his house for three months. According to the site, it’s actually mostly true. The 26-year-old did not have any contact with most people in AEW, including many friends, throughout his hiatus following Double or Nothing.

The AEW talent did shoot some stuff with the crew of Impractical Jokers. He was seen at Disney in the Summer once too, but he stayed away from social media and refrained from going out in public much.

There hasn’t been a confirmation of MJF’s claims about not signing a contract extension. Though he is now in a much more favorable situation financially.

Regardless of his contractual situation, the Devil’s return has had a positive impact on AEW’s TV ratings. He has been involved in some of the highest-rated segments since his comeback.

People within Warner Bros Discovery are said to be happy about MJF’s comeback and they have pointed to him being a rating success for the AEW shows.

Fandango Recalls Working With John Cena On Southpaw Regional Wrestling

The Southpaw Regional Wrestling was one of the most absurd yet entertaining pieces of programming WWE ever produced. It allowed the featured wrestlers to leave their usual personas behind and have fun with some of the most outrageous characters ever created in wrestling. Two such stars who had a lot of fun with the show were John Cena and Fandango. They did the commentary for the series.

The former WWE star who goes by the name Dirty Dango recently appeared on Cafe De Rene. He was asked to tell an interesting story about the web series. Replying to it, the former WWE star recalled the first time he worked with John Cena on the show:

“So they asked Cena to be the commentator for the show, which was set in the 80s. I was kind of the color guy adjacent to John at the desk.” recalled Fandango, “John had probably 10 pages, probably six episodes of verbiage. He looked at it for about 20 minutes, memorized the whole thing. I’m pretty shocked.

I’m like, ‘I’ll just go on the fly and go off you’ Because he had to remember all the verbiage and he did it all in one take. I’m like, ‘Holy shit – this guy.’ That was the first time I’m like ‘This is acting’ because this is what he does. His brain is wired for that. I was like, ‘Holy fuck. this guy’s pretty good,'”

Bayley Reveals Which Veteran From Past She Wants To Face

Bayley has achieved a lot of things in her ten years long WWE career. While there are still things she wants to do in the company, the bigger goal for her is to leave the place better than when she started.

The former champion recently spoke to The Five Count podcast. When asked which star from the past she would be interested in wrestling, she took the name of Lita:

“Yeah, I guess I would say Lita because she was my childhood hero. I feel like that would just be the cherry on top for my story of my career.”

– Bayley

‘Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day’: Bayley

Damage CTRL

The leader of Damage CTRL then discussed her goals in wrestling. She mentioned how winning the Royal Rumble and main eventing WrestleMania are on her list. Ultimately though, it’s all about leaving the women’s division in good hands:

“There’s still a lot. There’s a lot of women in NXT that I would love to tell some stories with but I still haven’t main evented WrestleMania. I feel like that’s a big deal to everybody especially because it’s been done a couple times now in the Women’s Division. I would love to do that or just have a singles title match at WrestleMania.

[I] would love to win the Royal Rumble, but those are just little things. I think the bigger picture is just to leave the division in good hands. That’s what Damage CTRL is all about. I wrote on a post that Rome wasn’t built in a day. So I know it’s gonna be a little bit so I can feel satisfied.”

MJF Reveals His Retirement Plan

MJF is only 26 years old but he is already one of the most famous wrestlers in the industry. Unlike many others, he also knows how long he wants to continue wrestling and then retire to never be seen again.

The AEW star recently had an interview with KFC Radio. Speaking about the people who have problem with his mannerisms, the young star explained that he doesn’t pretend to be someone he’s not:

“Now a lot of people have a problem with what I’m saying, which I find hysterical but also I have fans. So I’m the wrestling devil. I call my fans devil worshippers. My devil worshippers, they love me because they know that I’m not throwing bullshit.

Now I can be a happy go lucky guy. [I] could sit down in this chair and be like, ‘Love everybody. Everyone’s important. Teamwork.’ That’s not what I’m about because that’s bullshit. They’re just saying that to save face.”

MJF then explained what he’s truly all about. He mentioned that it’s all about making the most amount of money for him. Once he has done that, he’ll say goodbye to the world of pro wrestling:

“What I’m about is making the most amount of money I can in the shortest period of time with putting in the least amount of work. So I can retire at like 38 and never have to fucking look at anybody.”

Later in the interview MJF also detailed why he doesn’t want the job of Tony Khan or Triple H. He said that he doesn’t want to deal with the stress that comes with it. The Salt of The Earth reiterated that he is making ‘a lot’ of money and he wants to make ‘a lot lot’ of money so he can retire at 38.
