Adam Page Talks Working With The Young Bucks, Reflects On His Career

Ring of Honor/New Japan Pro Wrestling talent Adam Page spoke with Sporting News for a new interview to talk about the Bullet Club and more. Over the last year or so, Page has elevated his game and been pushed into a more prominent role while being a member of the Bull Club.

Page’s next big match is slated to go down next month when he takes on international mega-star Kota Ibushi at ROH’s Supercard of Honor event on April 7th from New Orleans, Louisiana. In this interview, he talked about having the time of his career.

“This is the most fun I’ve had in my career. The most money I’ve made in my career. This is the best time in my career, and I don’t mean that as if the next year won’t be or the years after that. So far, it’s been a steady incline in everything that I do. I’ve enjoyed this time, and it should be continuing getting bigger.”

He also opened up about working with Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks.

“When we have these kinds of matches — myself, Matt and Nick — we go all out, maybe even more so than we have to or should. I think that’s what people can expect. It should be wild. The six-man titles are on the line so we have a lot to fight for.”

“[I’m] maybe more confident, maybe more willing to do things like moonsaults off of a balcony or whatever it may be. I’m fortunate that I’m in a good place right now. Fans are really responding to me now so I guess now is the time for me to give back and do that kind of stuff with a little less hesitation. … Around Christmas time, I passed by a Hot Topic at the mall. They had the Christmas decorations up in the front of the store with AC/DC and Metallica, Harry Potter, Star Wars and Bullet Club. So, we are certainly a part of pop culture. I think its Bullet Club stuff and what we’re doing now in wrestling is, honestly, such a big part of pop culture that it’s kind of hard to avoid, even if you don’t follow wrestling.”

Jeff Jarrett On Becoming WWE Hall Of Famer, Reveals If He Has Spoken To Vince McMahon

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett recently spoke with Ryan Ryder on the latest edition of Main Event Radio (transcript courtesy of PWinsider.com) to talk about various topics. During the interview, he was asked about becoming a WWE Hall of Famer this year and if he has spoken with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon yet.

“I got asked in January and had some time to digest it. It’s still sort of surreal to me. I’m incredibly humbled by the amount of the exposure that’s gone with it. It’s an honor. There are less than 200 wrestlers in there and I’m one of the lucky ones in there. It was a shocker. Without question, a lot of our history is quite documented if not quite accurate. In 2001, when Vince acquired Turner’s organization they went their way and I went my way. I didn’t think it would be in the cards . I don’t believe in coincidences. It’s going to be 32 years from the day I started my career to the day I get inducted into the Hall of Fame.”

“I’m very excited about the weeks to come and I’m very looking forward to seeing and speaking with him [Vince McMahon].”

WWE holds their 2018 Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday, April 6th in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Smoothie King Center. Bill Goldberg will headline the class. Other names that have been confirmed to be inducted this year include Ivory, The Dudley Boyz, and HillBilly Jim.

Also during this interview, he was asked about NXT and Triple H, who oversees the developmental brand, building it up to being considered a third brand that the sports entertainment company has to offer to its fans alongside their flagship show, Monday Night RAW as well as SmackDown Live.

“NXT is growing; it is truly a 3rd brand. The network gives it a platform that is so unique. It’s a live touring business with merchandising. In essence, almost an entirely own promotion. Cudos to HHH and his staff and all the hard work that’s gone into it and certainly all the talent. No wrestling promotion has any wheels unless talent drives it. And all the names that have gone through NXT and the crop that they have there now including my close personal friend Eric Young.  HHH and NXT have their pulse on the talent and I’m interested to see where that continues to go. The growth in a relatively short period of time is amazing.”

Baron Corbin Opens Up About His Unsuccessful MITB Briefcase Cash-In

WWE SmackDown star Baron Corbin recently appeared on All Things Wrestling Radio and during the interview, he spoke about his 2017 in the WWE including winning the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Corbin, who is a former offensive lineman for the National Football League’s Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals as well as a three-time Golden Gloves champion and former grappling champion, signed with WWE in 2012. After spending time in NXT, he was called up to the main roster.

In July, Corbin won the Money in the Bank match for a WWE Championship opportunity and became the third wrestler to fail to win his cash-in match. In this interview, he revealed when he was told that he was going to cash-in the briefcase.

“It was kinda like an hour before [SmackDown Live],” said Corbin. “We discussed, and then they made a decision that was gonna be the night. It didn’t work out, but, yeah it was definitely about an hour before. I mean, it’s the fun part of this business. You never know what your day is gonna hold. Some things could be very, very last minute. It could be at that very last second. So, it’s pretty wild, and it keeps you on your toes. That’s for sure.”

WWE Advertising Ronda Rousey For Every RAW Going Into WrestleMania 34

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey’s schedule with the WWE has been a hot topic as of late.

As seen on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW in Detroit, MI at the Little Caesars Arena on the USA Network, Ronda Rousey did not appear despite the fact that WWE advertised her appearing on every episode of RAW leading into Wrestlemania 34. Instead, WWE aired a few video packages about her throughout the night.

Then on Tuesday, the sports entertainment company pulled her from advertisements for next week’s RAW in Dallas, Texas and the following week in Cleveland, Ohio. Rousey is scheduled for the April 2nd WrestleMania go-home show.

On Wednesday morning, the WWE has once again advertised Rousey for every RAW TV event leading up to the big event. Rousey is set to team up with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 34.

Here is her updated schedule:

RAW: 3/19 – American Airlines Center, Dallas

RAW: 3/26 – Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland

RAW: 4/2 – Philips Arena, Atlanta

WrestleMania: 4/8 – New Orleans

Tyler Breeze Reacts To Notion That WWE Has Misused Him On Main Roster

WWE SmackDown star Tyler Breeze recently spoke with TheWhig.com to talk about various topics.

During the interview, he was asked about the notion that he’s been misused on WWE’s main roster after being a fan favorite in NXT.

Keep in mind that Triple H oversees the creative in NXT while WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has the final say with the creative direction on the main roster.

“It’s easy to look at it like that. I don’t like to look at it like that. I’m still very young, I’ve still got a lot of career ahead of me. It’s not really about being misused. I like to use Shawn Michaels as a reference where he came up and he never really even became the Heartbreak Kid until he was eight or nine years in WWE. Everything takes time.”

In May of 2016, WWE officials decided to pair Breeze and Fandango as a tag team.

Since then, they have gone from being occasionally used to having a small part on SmackDown Live once they got their Fashion Files gimmick over.

“Getting paired with Fandango … the first little while, we were kind of struggling to find what our chemistry was and then finally it clicked, and everything just finds its place. I think being here with Fandango really helps. I help him out, he helps me out, and I think we’ve really built something special. We were both trying to figure out what our chemistry was, and all of the sudden we just started throwing ideas out there and one of them was to be the Fashion Police. We filmed little videos and then all of a sudden it kind of just took off.

We just have a lot of fun with it and other people have joined in and they would have fun with it. All of a sudden it became a thing that was every week on Smackdown for about eight months. It definitely played a big part in kind of getting some momentum behind us. We still have some unfinished business. We still have some loose ends with The Usos that we want to tie up. Until we get those Smackdown tag team titles, we don’t really have a need to go on our own. We’re having fun together. Until that happens, I don’t see us splitting up any time soon.”

Based on the report, it was noted that the special would be 60 minutes and air on the WWE Network. Also, there are plans to air an edited version of the special on the USA Network.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when it will air on WWE’s streaming service or their television partner.

Braun Strowman Has Certain Opponent In Mind For Potential Feud

WWE RAW Superstar Braun Strowman recently spoke with CBS DetroitDuring the interview, he was asked about who he travels with as well as a potential feud with fellow RAW star Bray Wyatt down the line.

“I usually travel with Bray Wyatt,” said Strowman. “We’ve gone astray per se as being a team, but our friendship is gonna go down forever. Bray is a very, very close friend of mine.”

“I look forward to possibly having a rivalry with him,” Strowman said. “He’s an unbelievable talent. He’s one of the best guys we have as far as speaking, in-ring ability, everything. He’s the total package, and he taught me a lot coming up with my time with the Wyatt Family, and yeah I’m sure it’ll come back one day full circle with the monster and his per se creator goes at it.”

Although Wyatt doesn’t have his match at WrestleMania 34 set up, Strowman does. As seen on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW in Detroit, MI at the Little Caesars Arena on the USA Network, Braun Strowman won a Battle Royal involving all of the tag teams that compete in the division on Raw.

As a result of this win, Strowman is the new #1 contender for the titles and will challenge Sheamus and Cesaro for them at WrestleMania 34. It remains to be seen if Strowman will have a partner for this match.

Becky Lynch Talks First-Ever Fabulous Moolah Battle Royal, Alexa Bliss

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently spoke with Sportskeeda to talk about various topics. During the interview, she was asked about WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss’ success on the RAW brand since being moved from SmackDown Live.

“She’s what, two-time RAW Women’s Champion? That’s good. I guess I haven’t seen her wrestle in a long time. So, that’s an important part of being a Champion. But I thought the Women’s Elimination Chamber match was brilliant.”

The WWE has announced that the first-ever Fabulous Moolah Battle Royal will take place at WrestleMania 34. The match is a female version of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. She was asked about this first-ever match for the sports entertainment company.

“She’s one of the most well-known women in WWE history and I think that when people think of the famous women of the past, they think of the Fabulous Moolah. That’s why the Battle Royal is being named after her.”

Seth Rollins Opens Up On Dean Ambrose Missing WrestleMania 34 Due To Injury

Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins recently spoke with MLive. During the interview, he was asked about his upcoming Triple Threat Match against Finn Balor and Intercontinental Champion The Miz at WrestleMania 34.

“I’ve now got a big match at WrestleMania. A triple threat match for the Intercontinental Title. For me, my eyes are still on The Miz and the IC title and becoming champion.”

Also, he was asked about his former tag team partner Dean Ambrose suffering an injury and missing out on competing at WrestleMania 34.

Ambrose underwent successful surgery to repair a high-grade triceps tendon in December. Ambrose’s arm injury reportedly took place at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view event back on October 22nd. During that pay-per-view, Ambrose took a bump on a table that didn’t break.

Following the match, his right arm immediately swelled up. While Ambrose didn’t take any time off and continued to work through the pain, things got worse over time. WWE stated Ambrose would be out nine months at the time of his surgery being announced.

“The biggest thing is to try and roll with it and don’t turn away from your feelings,” said Rollins. “It’s going to be ok to feel sad, angry and frustrated, but try not to let yourself be negative. Turn it into a positive and use that as motivation to get back faster.”

WWE vs. GLOW Themed Episode To Air On TBS’ Drop The Mic Show

Some of the top female superstars under contract with the WWE are slated to take on some GLOW actors on an upcoming TV show.

Squared Circle Sirens is reporting that TBS will be filming an episode of “Drop The Mic” that will feature a WWE vs. GLOW theme on March 18. Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Carmella, and Alicia Fox will represent WWE while Kate Nash, Jackie Tohn, Sunita Mani, and Britney Young will appear on behalf of the GLOW Netflix series.

GLOW is inspired by the short-lived but beloved show from the 80s. Netflix has already renewed the series for a second season.

AJ Styles Addresses Why He Almost Returned To Impact Wrestling Before Signing With WWE

WWE Champion AJ Styles recently spoke with former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia on her Chasing Glory podcast. During the interview, he talked about the decline of TNA from 2009-2010.

Styles made his name known while in TNA Wrestling, now known as Impact Wrestling, from 2002–2013 well before he signed with the sports entertainment company.

While in the promotion, Styles held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship three times and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice. Also, he was the first holder of the X Division Championship, a title he held six times.

“When you want to become a lesser version of something else, and when I say that, I mean WWE Light, you’re not giving people an alternative.” Styles added, “if they want to watch WWE, they’re going to watch WWE. You’ve got to be something different, so they went with a regular square ring. I thought that was a big mistake. You [brought] in guys that I don’t know people wanted to see anymore because they had grown so used to a certain style of wrestling that was happening at TNA. There were a lot of things that [brought] it down and it was guys like Christian and Kurt [Angle] who came over before all this happened that really sparked TNA and made it something bigger. It was growing because of them. But around 2009, 2010, around there, they forgot who they were and didn’t rely on the guys that got them there to the ballgame in the first place, the big game, anyway. And therefore, it started going downhill.”

“Despite all that, I saw myself as, ‘this is my home,’ and I was loyal to TNA,” Styles reflected. “But when you don’t allow me to provide for my family the way I think I should be able to by all the time and all the years I put in, well then, it’s not making much sense to me. And so, ultimately, that’s why I left, because they wanted me to take less than I was making. I hadn’t done anything wrong and I tried to be the best ambassador for the company that I could. A lot of things I thought I did right, but they didn’t see it that way, so I left. I bet on myself and I left.”

In 2014, Styles signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and won his first of two IWGP Heavyweight Championships in his debut match with the company.

Styles first appeared on WWE television in 2002 but turned down a developmental contract he was offered by the company.

He signed a multi-year contract with WWE fourteen years later in January 2016 and made his re-debut at that month’s Royal Rumble. Also during this interview, he addressed his decision to go to WWE despite being offered a deal by TNA.

“It wasn’t too long after that [NJPW stint] that TNA came back to me and said, ‘okay, we’ll give you pretty much when you’re asking for to come back.’” Styles elaborated, “I said, ‘well, I’m not coming back without somebody. I need Anderson and Gallows.’ I said, ‘I want them to come with me.’ We actually had a meeting over at Dixie Carter’s house. There were still some things we weren’t sure about and I had talked to WWE a little bit, but they hadn’t gotten back to me, so I just assumed they had other things going on. They didn’t need AJ Styles, which… WWE is a big place. I get it. I’m not the most important person in the world. I know that. But luckily, Triple H and I, we had a great conversation, like a 30-minute conversation the first time we talked. I said, ‘oh, this is going well.’ And within a week, the ball really started rolling.”

Elias Promises Special Performance At WrestleMania 34

WWE Raw Superstar Elias recently did an interview with SportsKeeda to talk about various topics. During the interview, he reflected on being called up to the main roster and being fast-tracked to it from NXT.

He was signed to a developmental deal by WWE in early 2014 and was placed in NXT.

The sports entertainment company and its Chairman Vince McMahon thought that it was the right time to call up the NXT star to the main roster and place him on the Monday Night Raw brand in April of last year.

“I heard the term “fast-tracked”, which I actually think is the opposite of what it was. I spent a lot of time at NXT. But what I feel the main difference is that what I was doing at live events during my time in NXT is what I brought to television on the main roster. So a lot of people only got to see short little bursts on NXT. 30 seconds at a time on the guitar, a few minutes in the ring. Monday Night RAW gives me a lot more time to express myself.”

“It’s definitely satisfying to be in the main events and to reach a certain level, but as far as personal goals go, personal feelings, I feel like I’m not even close to where I want to be yet. I feel like I’m only starting my path towards the very top. As far as success and where I’m at right now, that’s for everybody else to decide. I know where I want to be.”

WrestleMania 34 is set to be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This event airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network. It’s the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history.

As of this writing, there are no clear-cut plans for him at the biggest event of the year for the sports entertainment company. During this interview, he was asked about his performance that he will do at the upcoming event.

“At WrestleMania, the performance will be something that you’ve not seen Elias do yet. We call it the grandest spectacle of them all right? I’m the grandest performer on Monday Night RAW, I’m the grandest performer in WWE. It’s only fitting that at WrestleMania, the biggest show we have, I put on the biggest performance you’ve ever seen.”

Sonya Deville Comments On Potential Match With Ronda Rousey, Being First Openly Gay Woman In WWE

WWE Raw star Sonya Deville recently made an appearance on longtime WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia’s podcast, Chasing Glory, to talk about various topics.

During the interview, she was asked about a potential match with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who is slated to team up with WWE Hall of Famer and current General Manager of Monday Night Raw Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 34.

“I haven’t actually said anything publicly about it yet…I feel like the story me and Ronda can tell one day will be so awesome, and I think we have something special here…I think that it’s going to be an honor and a privilege to work in the ring with her…That’s the biggest compliment, is that Ronda Rousey – she’s done a lot in her life. She’s accomplished a lot. Besides MMA and the UFC, she was a Judo Olympian. She was a bronze medalist. And she went undefeated for so long, and she has a lot of accomplishments. So, for her to want to be here so bad, to go through contract negotiations for as long as they did with her, and to finally be here, that is such a compliment to our division and what we’re doing here.”

Also during this interview, she was asked about being the first openly gay women in the WWE.

“I guess I put a big burden on myself because I want to send out the right message and I want to talk about it properly, and I do want to make sure that people hear my story because I think that it’s an interesting one that can help a lot of people. I get tweets and stuff. I tear up now just thinking about it. This little girl the other day was tweeting me – her name’s Courtney – and telling me that she came out to her family because she read my post and everything. I gave her the courage…that’s the kind of influence I want to have. It’s not just being gay. It’s just being you.”

Kurt Angle Q&A: Teaming With Ronda Rousey At WrestleMania 34, Jason Jordan’s WWE Return

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently did a Q&A on Facebook and commented on a number of interesting topics.

During the session, a fan asked when his storyline son, Jason Jordan, would return to in-ring action. If you recall, Jordan had neck surgery several weeks ago and WWE announced that Jordan wouldn’t be able to return in time for Wrestlemania 34.

“Jason should be ok to come back shortly after Wrestlemania but I’m being very optimistic. Hopefully he will be back in the next 6-8 weeks”

Angle is slated to team up with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 34. During the Q&A, he was asked about competing at the event and teaming with Rousey.

“I’ve wanted to perform at Wrestlemania for the past 5 years. I’m back and I’m grateful to be in a spot that I feel great about. Teaming up w Ronda and competing against HHH/Steph is one of the best spots on the card. I’m excited to show the world I still got it. I was injured at Survivor Series so I was very limited. But now I’m looking forward to WM34”

Both Raw and SmackDown rosters will be featured.

“I’m excited to team with Ronda. She is an exceptional competitor… dominant and smart. And HHH will go down in history as one of the greatest of all time. His resume speaks for itself. This match will NOT disappoint. Trust me”

Big Name Reportedly Appearing At WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble Event

WWE is pulling out all of the stops for their upcoming the Greatest Royal Rumble event.

The sports entertainment company will be holding the show at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27. For the first time ever, the Royal Rumble match will feature 50 WWE Superstars.

John Cena, Triple H, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, and Shinsuke Nakamura have already been announced for the show.

You can add former WWE Champion Chris Jericho’s name to the ongoing list of talents that will be working the show. PWinsider.com is reporting that after the WWE contacted him to appear at the event, all signs point to him working the show. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on if this will be a one night return or the beginning of another run for him under the WWE banner.

Jericho was last seen on WWE television during a backstage segment with Elias at the 25 Anniversary episode of Monday Night Raw in January. He last wrestled in a WWE ring since July of 2016. Since then, Jericho made several surprise appearances for New Japan Pro Wrestling including his match against Kenny Omega at the Wrestle Kingdom event at the Tokyo Dome.

AJ Styles Opens Up On Potential Match With Shinsuke Nakamura At WrestleMania 34

WWE Champion AJ Styles recently spoke with former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia on her Chasing Glory podcast. During the interview, he talked about working with Jinder Mahal.

If you recall, Styles won the WWE Title from Mahal late last year on an episode of SmackDown Live.

“At first, it was different. Jinder came in and went straight to the top when he came to SmackDown and it was a position he wasn’t in. And when you get to this upper level, things change in the way that you work in the ring, the way you act, everything. And he had to learn really quick basically how to be a big star in WWE, which sounds easy, but it’s not.”

“He took it well. I literally said, ‘Jinder, what do you think?’ I wanted to know what he thought, if he was okay with it, because that’s important to me that, ‘I’m not better than you. You’ve been a great champion. What do you think, man?’ and he was okay with it. Again, he has been in the business for a while now, so he was very mature in the way he handled it and I appreciate that. Sometimes you have to wait your tour and sometimes it takes longer than you’d like, but eventually you’ll be back on top.”

With SmackDown star Shinsuke Nakamura winning this year’s Royal Rumble match, he has secured a WWE Title match at WrestleMania 34.

If Styles is able to retain his title at the Fastlane pay-per-view event against John Cena, Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Dolph Ziggler in a Six Pack Challenge, then he will face Nakamura at the biggest event of the year for the sports entertainment company.

“There could be a chance of headlining WrestleMania this year. I’ve got to make it through Fastlane before I can do this, but if I get the opportunity to wrestle Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania, a match that no one has seen on U.S. soil, and only happened once in Japan, this could be huge. I need some payback [for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 10], but he doesn’t have the home field advantage this time. So it’s exciting to think that something like that could happen, even if it’s not the main event. They’re going to wish it had been. I expect this match to be amazing. Nakamura is a great talent here and I feel like were going to tear the place apart to be honest with you.”

Correction On Fabricio Werdum’s Potentially Participating In Pro Wrestling

On Wednesday (March 7, 2018), an article was published by MMA Fighting that featured an interview with former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum.

During the interview, Werdum stated that he is looking to participate in both pro wrestling and MMA.

Werdum originally mentioned that he was having a meeting with WWE. However, he later mistakenly cited WWE instead of a Mexican “lucha libre” company.

Werdum cleared up the situation by writing the following on Twitter:

“Hey guys to make it clear I spoke about maybe doing Lucha libre in México. Not WWE. I meant wwe style(pro wrestling) but I am a @ufc fighter and my focus 100% is fighting in the ufc and whatever decision I make after my fighting career @danawhite @Mickmaynard2 will be involved..”

We’ve updated our original article about Werdum looking to compete in both sports.

Hillbilly Jim Explains Why He Was Planning To Miss WrestleMania This Year

Earlier this week it was officially announced by the WWE that former Superstar Hillbilly Jim would be inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame class.

Anytime that a Superstar is announced for the Hall of Fame, they do various interviews to talk about the announcement, reflect on their careers and what being a Hall of Famer means to them.

Hillbilly Jim recently spoke with TMZ Sports about the honor. During the interview, he noted that he took the call to let the sports entertainment company know that he wouldn’t be making the trip to WrestleMania due to the rough traveling he had in the past.

“The phone call came on a Sunday morning and to be honest with you, they had been calling me for several days prior to try and get me and I had not responded. I was sitting down at my house getting ready to have a cup of coffee and I was going to the gym when they started calling me again,” Jim added.

“I said, ‘I’ve got to take this phone call.’ I really was taking the phone call to tell them that I was not going to come to WrestleMania this year, I was going to take off a year or so because I had a rough ride last year for the one we did in Orlando. With transportation, I felt like the whole weekend I was just behind. So I said, ‘I’m just going to take off a year or so.’ And I was telling him that, I said, ‘Listen, I appreciate it, tell everybody to have a great time in New Orleans and tell the boys hello, and I’m going to take off.’ He said, ‘Well Jim that’s good but Vince McMahon wants you to go into the Hall of Fame. I actually was not expecting this because this was the last thing on my mind. Then all the memories and ramifications of this started floating in my brain, and it’s just been crazy.”

WWE holds their 2018 Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday, April 6th in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Smoothie King Center. Bill Goldberg will headline the class. Here are the other names that have been confirmed to be inducted this year: Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, and The Dudley Boyz.

“Really I wasn’t expecting it, it hit me from the clear blue and it’s beyond belief to think that this has happened to me. It’s like the cherry on top of the ice cream sundae, man, that’s as good as I could ever hope for,” Jim said of the induction during WrestleMania 34 Weekend in New Orleans. “This is just above and beyond my dreams to get put into this Hall of Fame because I’ve already reaped all the benefits from having the business and for being in this industry and to have this happen to me, it’s just more than I needed because this has been a wonderful ride for me, something I could never envision. It’s one of them kinda things that someone kinda sits up and dreams about, but you’d never dream it quite like this.”

Jinder Mahal Addresses Possible Move To RAW, Talks Teaming Up With Drew McIntyre Again

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal recently spoke with Rohit Nath and Sportskeeda to talk about various topics. During the interview, he was asked about former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre and possibly teaming with him again.

If you recall, in April of 2011, Mahal made his main roster debut and would eventually find himself as a member of the Three Man Band (3MB) trio alongside McIntyre and Heath Slater. In 2014, however, his run with the WWE came to an end when he was released from his deal.

“Drew would be awesome, I know he’s focused on his singles career, he’s doing his rehab, he’s looking forward to coming back stronger than ever, but there will be a 3MB re-union. We will be more successful than in the past, so definitely. We’re 3-time champions. Currently, someone like Elias would be a great tag partner, but also in NXT and in the Performance Center, there are many future superstars who train very hard. There are even new Indian superstars who just got signed.I’m excited to see where they go in the future.

They’re going to work hard too to become main roster superstars of RAW and SmackDown. I would love to take one of them and hopefully in a few years when I’m more experienced in WWE, I could take a mentorship role and bring them to RAW or SmackDown and together we could hold a tag team championship. That would be very cool.”

He was also asked about potentially moving back to WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night RAW.

After he was released from WWE, he returned to the independent circuit for two years where he would reinvent himself creatively and physically before being brought back to WWE around the time of the Superstar Shake-Up. After some time on RAW upon his return, the shake-up moved him over to Tuesday nights on SmackDown Live.

“Absolutely. I go wherever I’m called. SmackDown Live is the land of opportunity and I took advantage of that opportunity, but I believe that I’m one of the main superstars in WWE, and whether I’m on RAW or whether I’m on SmackDown, I will be successful.I could definitely see there being a shake-up, some superstars will switch, but whichever side I’m on, RAW or SmackDown, I’m more than happy to represent that brand and compete against the superstars of that respective brand and win either the Universal or WWE Championship at the end.”

Former UFC Champion Talks About Doing Pro Wrestling

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum has a busy schedule with the Las Vegas promotion, but he wants to add more to his workload.

Werdum already has his next fight lined up as he is slated to main event UFC London on March 17 against Alexander Volkov, which marks his fourth fight since July.

While promoting the upcoming fight, he mentioned that he’s trying to negotiate a deal with WWE.

It all started once the name of current WWE Universal Champion and former Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was brought up.

There have been rumblings that Lesnar could make a UFC return once his contract with the sports entertainment company expires next month after WrestleMania 34 where he is set to defend his title against Roman Reigns.

Werdum claimed that he will have a meeting with a WWE official later this week. It should be noted that Kickboxer producer Rob Hickman helped him set up a meeting with the WWE representative.

”I think that both (at the same time) is doable,” Werdum told MMA Fighting. “You can do WWE. … If I had the opportunity I’d fight there, no problem. It’s financially great. Fight at WWE, a spectacle that is fun to do. I’d definitely do it. I have a meeting Thursday about it, doing both (UFC and WWE). I want to fight, doesn’t matter where.”

”I’ll have this meeting Thursday in San Diego to see if something happens with WWE,” Werdum said. “It’s cool, a unique opportunity to do a few fights there as well. People think it’s easy, but it’s not. You have to be well trained to do those jumps, you have to be agile. It’s not easy as some people might think. It’s quite complicated. You have to be well trained and practice a lot to captivate the audience.”.

”I’m fluent in Spanish, so I can do a character that speaks Spanish,” Werdum said. “That would be cool. I’d really like to have this opportunity to do this and captivate the Latin audience because they really love WWE. I’d be thrilled to do a fight there, or more, or a contract, because there’s no problem with the UFC since it’s not a real fight, it’s more of a show.”

Update: Fabricio Werdum has since clarified that he is interested in doing lucha libre pro wrestling – not specifically WWE.
