Kenny Omega Reacts to Being Fired from The Elite

Kenny Omega is not so impressed after The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) fired him from The Elite.

‘The Cleaner’ is currently out of action for an indefinite period after he was diagnosed with diverticulitis. However, The Young Bucks don’t care about it. During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, EVPs The Young Bucks addressed the fans and went on to speak about one of their old friends, Kenny Omega.

While Omega recuperates from diverticulitis, The Young Bucks raised questions about his absence as he has been missing dates which they think have baseless reasons. After that, they announced Omega has been fired from his position in The Elite.

Kenny Omega reacts

Taking to his Twitter/X account, Kenny Omega posted his picture from a match in which his facial expression doesn’t look too impressed. He didn’t add any caption as the image was self-explanatory.

Omega was diagnosed with Diverticulitis following his match with Ethan Page last year. The former AEW World Champion was hospitalized immediately after the match. Omega was set to team up with Chris Jericho at AEW Worlds End last December but that match had to be nixed off due to Omega’s absence.

We had previously reported that Omega has a long road ahead for recovery. Well, his condition is bad enough that surgery could be risky at the time and a decision of the surgery hasn’t been made

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Kenny Omega. We at SEScoops wish him a speedy recovery.

Rush Finally ‘Ready’ To Return After Dealing With Multiple Issues

AEW star Rush has revealed that it’s only a matter of time before he makes his return.

‘El Toro Blanco,’ is the leader of La Faccion Ingobernable which consists of Dralistico, Preston Vance, and Jose The Assistant. But, he has missed a good chunk of in-ring action due to an injury and has been on the shelf. However, he has some plans in place to expand the faction this year.

In December last year, Rush participated in the AEW Continental Classic tournament but competed with an injury. He was part of the Gold League where he tallied six points by defeating Mark Briscoe and Jay Lethal. However, he conceded defeats at the hands of Jay White, Jon Moxley, and Swerve Strickland.

Fellow AEW superstar and La Faccion Ingobernable member Dralistico recently revealed that he and Rush were in the process of getting their visas. His comments led to many believing that the visa issue was why he was not on AEW programming.

Rush is ready for his return

Taking to his Twitter/X account, Rush posted a video clip and wrote the following in the caption:

I have my WORK visa with #AEW
I am injury free and cleared to wrestle.

I am ready for everyone to see a REAL LUCHADOR, EL TORO BLANCO RUSH
?
#LFI

It seems that the wait is over as the visa process is also completed. Thereby, Rush will be back in action soon.

El Hijo del Vikingo Undergoes Successful Surgery After Suffering Serious Injury

We have an update on El Hijo del Vikingo after he underwent surgery.

The 26-year-old talented athlete had an outstanding 2023 competing in promotions other than AAA, including All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor, TNA, Game Changer Wrestling, and many more. He is currently in his first reign as AAA Mega Champion.

In December 2021, he emerged victorious in a five-way match at Triplemanía Regia II, claiming the vacant title. Vikingo’s reign is the longest in the title’s history being ongoing for more than 800 days.

However, he has recently faced some injury woes. Last month, Mas Lucha reported that Vikingo’s match at the López Mateos Arena had to be called off as he sustained an injury to his right knee. Vikingo was assessed at the arena and there was a talk that he might have damaged a ligament. Mas Lucha also shared photos of Vikingo being tended to at the event.

Vikingo provided an update on his injury via his Instagram stories to reveal that his injury is a torn meniscus and a ruptured ligament. These injuries would require surgery and also updated his fans before undergoing surgery.

El Hijo del Vikingo had a successful surgery

AAA shared that El Hijo del Vikingo’s surgery was a success. There will be an update on how long he’ll be sidelined and the status of the Mega Title.

This is the latest injury that Vikingo has suffered. He had suffered a major injury in late 2023 as well. Vikingo suffered a hip injury at an ROH event when a dive went wrong and was seen using a wheelchair after the match. That incident took place a month after Vikingo collapsed backstage at AAA TripleMania XXXI: Mexico City. A backstage video clip also surfaced depicting Vikingo being stretchered away.

We at SEScoops wish El Hijo del Vikingo a speedy recovery

Sting Promises To Wrestle At AEW Revolution In A Way “That Will Make People Save The Tape”

Pro wrestling legend Sting will step foot inside the squared circle for one last time at this Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view. He’s letting fans know he won’t fade away quietly into the night – he plans to go out with a bang.

Since Sting’s 2020 AEW debut, ‘The Icon’ has created several special moments for the fans but he has been involved in some spots that defy his age. It appeared that a neck injury would endanger his career in 2015 when he competed at Night of Champions against Seth Rollins. It was regarded as his final match before he joined AEW when it all changed. ‘The Icon’ overcame the hindrances and his illustrious career culminates on his own will. Sting will bring down the curtain on his decorated career with his final match at AEW Revolution 2024

Ahead of his final match, Sting spoke to Sports Illustrated and urged the fans to capture his one last run inside the squared circle.

“I want people to walk away saying, ‘How was that even possible?’” said Sting. “I want people to be entertained. I want to elevate AEW.

“I never wanted wrestling to pass me by. That’s why I wrestled the way I did. This Sunday, I’m going to wrestle a way that will make people want to save the tape.”

Sting and Darby Allin recently captured the AEW World Tag Team titles after defeating Ricky Starks and Big Bill. This marks ‘The Icon’s first title run in the promotion and it seems that his title run is in jeopardy. The event will emanate from Greensboro Coliseum, the same venue where his 1988 Clash of the Champions bout against Ric Flair took place.

“You standing on big business” – Mercedes Moné Responds To Giulia Wanting to Face Her

Mercedes Moné (formerly Sasha Banks) recently responded to NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Giulia, who has expressed her desire to face the former WWE star.

After being the hottest free agent on the market for quite some time, it seems Moné is AEW-bound.  She tasted success in WWE but departed in 2022 due to issues with the creative team. Soon after that, the former ‘Boss’ made her presence felt in NJPW and World Wonder Ring Stardom while also becoming the IWGP Women’s Champion.

While Mercedes Moné is on the verge of her return from injury, NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Giulia has stated that she is still wishing to face Mercedes Moné, who has been on the sideline since Giulia won the title from Willow Nightingale in July last year.

Speaking with Tokyo Sports, the NJPW Strong Women’s Champion said that she has been aiming to put her title on the line against Mone. Here is what she said:

“I have been thinking ever since I won the belt that I have to put this belt on the line and beat Mone to overturn this saying,” Giulia said. “I can’t tell you right now where I will go from here, but I will continue to defend this belt until I find Mone.”

Mercedes Moné responds

Taking to Twitter/X, Mercedes Moné seemingly indicated her AEW debut at Big Business and wants the champ to show as she wrote:

“You standing on big business or u just standing around! YoU know where to find me
Julia
@giulia0221g “

Giulia is set to be a free agent when her STARDOM contract expires at the end of March. Meanwhile, Moné is reportedly set to debut for AEW this month at Big Business.

It was last month that AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that the March 13, episode of Dynamite will take place at the TD Garden in Boston, MA. The location and the show’s name being billed “Big Business” indicates that Mercedes Moné will make her debut at the show.

Tony Khan announces the replacement

Ahead of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan revealed that Meat Madness will be happening when the injured wrestlers make their return as he he’s ‘temporarily freezing the bout.’ He then announced that Sunday’s pay-per-view will see an All-Star Scramble match.

With multiple wrestlers slated for #AEWRevolution’s Meat Madness match out injured + shelved by AEW docs, I’m temporarily freezing the bout until they’re clear

Billy Jack Haynes Charged with Second Degree Murder

We have an update on former WWE star Billy Jack Haynes regarding a fatal shooting that took place earlier this month.

Haynes was apprehended after cops were called to his home in the Lents neighborhood of Portland. Following the gunfire, authorities were called and Haynes “eventually came out” of the house. He was taken into custody following a prolonged confrontation with the offices.

Two hours later, Haynes was moved to prison. Everybody in his area was instructed to remain inside their homes throughout the standoff. In later reports, it was stated that Janette Becraft, Billy Jack Haynes’ wife, was found dead. It was allegedly from a shooting.

However, the identities of those involved remained undisclosed in the original reports. Previously, reports stated that Haynes would face murder charges, but would be brought as soon as he was discharged from the hospital.

Update on Billy Jack Haynes

PW Insider reported that Billy Jack Haynes was released from the hospital on February 28 and was immediately arrested and charged with Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon concerning the death of his wife in Portland, Oregon several weeks ago.

Haynes is currently being held at the Multnomah County Detention Center. He had not been charged or brought into custody as he was hospitalized after being taken into custody for a medical issue not related to his arrest.

Haynes had been a popular talent in the Portland area and had wrestled for the WWF/E in the late 1980s. He also appeared in World Class Championship Wrestling in Florida and WCW (under the name Black Blood). Jim Crockett Promotions, New Japan, and other territories among the various promotions.

Haynes parted ways with the WWF at the beginning of 1988 amid some controversy. Haynes is said to have left the WWF after turning down to job in Portland, Oregon, his hometown. According to another angle, he wrestled the match and agreed to the outcome, but he was fired later.

This is a developing situation and we will keep you updated when more details emerge. Keep an eye on SEScoops to get the latest updates.

Paul Wight Reflects On Learning Valuable Lessons From Sting

Pro wrestling legend Sting is retiring soon and another veteran Paul Wight (formerly Big Show in WWE) has shared some lessons he has learned from ‘The Icon.’

Sting joined AEW back in 2020 and ‘The Icon’ has since created some memorable moments with his age-defying spots and moves as he faced several high-profile talents. The final run of his career has been a fairytale for him. In 2015 it seemed that a neck injury would threaten his career, Sting has overcome the odds and he’s ending his storied career on his own terms.

Sting will bring down the curtain on his decorated career with his final match in AEW taking place at next month’s AEW Revolution 2024

Sting brings more than four decades of experience to the table and has shared his wisdom with several young superstars over the years. It was back in 1994 when Paul Wigh met Sting and they became not only on-screen rivals but also great friends. In the May of 1996, Wight headlined WCW’s Slamboree pay-per-view against Sting which remains to be the former’s landmark match.

Wight recently spoke with Sports Illustrated and recalled some priceless lessons he has learned from Sting. Back in 1995, the infamous brawl between “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff and Vader broke out. While Wight was eager to get a closer view, Sting had another opinion on the matter.

“As I was getting up, Sting said to me, ‘Nothing good will come from that,’” said Wight. “I said, ‘What? I want to see what’s happening.’ And he said, ‘That’s their business.’ So we stayed there and finished the game.”

In the process, Paul Wight learned a valuable lesson.

“I learned something a lot deeper than that, too. I still remember how I wanted to jump right into the chaos. But he was right–it was between Orndorff and Vader. I didn’t have any business getting involved in it.”

Paul Wight couldn’t have asked for better influence than Sting

During the interview, Paul Wight said that Sting had a huge influence on him in shaping his career. He recalled another lesson he’d learned about the business. He said:

“Somebody has to cook and somebody has to eat, and Sting taught me that core philosophy. I learned that my first job in a match is to get my opponent over, then get the match over. That’s Point A and Point B. If you do that right, you’ll automatically get yourself over. That’s not, ‘You do your stuff, I’ll do my stuff.’

It’s bigger than you. Some guys only take care of themselves, and good for them. But the guys I respect most are the ones who make people better in the ring. That’s someone like Ric Flair, he has to be mentioned. So does Sting. I couldn’t have asked for a better influence early in my career.”

Sting and Darby Allin recently defeated Ricky Starks and Big Bill to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship. This marks ‘The Icon’s first title run in the promotion and it seems that his title run is in jeopardy with The Young Bucks setting their sights on the gold.

Chad Gable Opens Up On Seeking Advice from Randy Orton During Difficult Times in WWE

The Alpha Academy member Chad Gable recently spoke about receiving valuable advice from WWE veteran star Randy Orton during the former’s low points in the company.

Randy Orton has cemented his status as a seasoned veteran in WWE. Orton’s decorated career has spanned over two decades and has continued to perform at the highest level. Throughout his tenure, he’s performed in various eras, evolving his character and in-ring style over the years. Orton’s longevity speaks volumes about his legacy and ‘The Viper’ has consistently delivered compelling performances and engaging storylines. His several championship reigns and iconic rivalries further solidify his status as a cornerstone of WWE.

The Alpha Academy was involved in a storyline with RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Matt Riddle) back in 2022. Back in the day, Riddle & Randy were WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, while Gable & Otis were aiming to claim the titles.

Speaking with TV Insider, Chad Gable was asked if he would look for advice, which star he would approach. He revealed that it would be none other than Randy Orton. The Alpha Academy member highlighted that given Orton’s experience, he is the right man to get feedback from. He said:

“I would say, Randy Orton. I don’t try to bother people too much with questions, especially when you know the answer to questions you may ask. But there are a few things I’ve struggled with during my time here and Randy has been a guy I ask to get actual thoughts and feedback from. He has been through it all and knows pretty much anything. I’ve always reached out to him. He gives me the answers that resonate and are truthful.”

With WrestleMania 40 approaching soon, Chad Gable is eyeing to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Last year, Gable had brutal bouts with Gunther, who went on to become a record-breaking champion. However, his pursuit of the title didn’t bring any success.

Now, Gable is trying to get another shot at the title. Last night on Raw, Gable spoke to WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce for another shot at the title. Gable clarified that his daughter had cried after last year’s loss and he wants to exact revenge on ‘The Ring General.’

We will have to wait and see if Chad Gable gets an opportunity to face Gunther at WrestleMania 40.

Randy Orton Furious At Man Using RKO To Attack Strangers: Send Him To Prison

WWE legend Randy Orton is furious with a video clip that is going around on social media.

Randy Orton’s has a unique move-set and it includes RKO which is synonymous with his name. The lightning-fast cutter which he executes out of nowhere, catches his opponents off guard and has won him several championships in his decorated career. He’s hit the move in some of the most unexpected ways on several occasions, scripting iconic moments in WWE.

Orton Responds to the RKO Attacker

A few years back, Orton hitting the RKO became a popular meme on the internet and the fans started dropping hilarious edited clips of him hitting his finisher.

Now, a video has surfaced on Twitter/X which caught the attention of Randy Orton himself and it features a fan hitting RKO on random strangers. In one of the ridiculous developments, the man even executed the move on disabled people.

‘The Viper’ was furious when he took note of the clip and stated that the man needs to be hit with Orton’s popular Punt Kick to the head and should be put in prison for assault.

“Bring the punt kick back and give him a good ol case of CTE ya later plus 5 years in prison for assault.”

Randy Orton’s Punt Kick

The Punt Kick reference is related to the devastating finishing move the Viper used during the late 2000’s when he was a ruthless heel establishing himself as the legend we know him as today.

Orton He targeted the head of a grounded opponent and delivered a devastating kick similar to a punt in American football. However, the move was banned due to its high risk of giving the superstars a concussion.

Orton recently competed in the Elimination Chamber match at the namesake premium live event that took place last weekend in Perth, Australia. The match was won by Drew McIntyre who will be challenging Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 40.

The Undertaker Reveals What Could Have Extended His WWE Career

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker seemingly wanted to carry on with his in-ring career for a few more years. But he couldn’t. Well, what if he got a tour bus sooner?

The Undertaker is an iconic figure in WWE and has carved an unparalleled legacy spanning over three decades. Making his debut in 1990, his ominous presence and legendary streak at WrestleMania captivated the fans worldwide.

Throughout his illustrious career, he held multiple world championships and was embroiled in memorable rivalries. His retirement in 2020 marked the end of an era and received a farewell with a cinematic match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. ‘The Phenom’ has certainly left an indelible impact in the pro wrestling world.

Over the last few decades, pro wrestling world has seen major shifts in the culture and The Undertaker has seen it all. He has now spoken candidly about the introduction of tour buses for the WWE Superstars.

The Undertaker feels the tour buses could have helped in extending his WWE run

Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker talked about how much the service of tour buses has increased longevity for WWE Superstars.

“There’s a lot of talent buses, you got crew buses. Hell, there’s 30 semis full of their sets,” said Undertaker.

Reflecting about his own time on a tour bus, Taker said that most of that was for after his matches to take better care of himself. ‘The Phenom’ stated that he believes he would have had higher quality matches and lasted longer as a full-time performer if he had taken more care of himself.

“I would have had higher quality matches, I would have I think I mean, even I lasted for as long as I did. I think I might have even lasted longer if I had been able to take that kind of care of myself. The struggle for me those last seven-eight years, it was just health. There was nothing really that happened or could happen that I didn’t feel I had a grasp on how to handle it or how to make it work. That part was second nature at that point, but physically trying to perform and keep myself at a level where I could perform.”

Undertaker went on to poke fun that if he had a few more nights of sleep in the 90s, he might have been performing, perhaps at a high level. He said:

“If I got on the bus sooner, and maybe slept a few more nights in the 90s? Hell, I might be still wrestling right now. Yeah, at a high level,” he joked. “It would have helped, but the 90s, I started in a hole.”

The Undertaker currently performs 1 deadMAN show where he is seen in an intimate setting and shares never-before-heard stories followed by taking questions from the WWE Universe in attendance.

Rhea Ripley: I’m glad I can be the Chyna of this generation

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is glad that she is part of the WWE Women’s division that WWE legend Chyna helped in building.

Late WWE Hall of Famer Chyna was one of the most dominant female superstars of WWE. She had carved the pathway for female wrestlers to compete against men, and surely, Rhea Ripley is carrying on that legacy. ‘The Eradicator’ has been on an unstoppable run as the Women’s World Champion and looks far from stopping anytime soon. It seems that her next aim would be to step into the men’s division. She has been vocal about having more intergender matches in WWE. She has even named her male dream opponents.

In the late 90s, Chyna was part of the iconic faction Degeneration X, alongside Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Similarities can be drawn as Ripley is currently part of The Judgment Day.

Chyna was the first woman to ever participate in the Men’s Royal Rumble and also competed in the men’s King of the Ring tournament. Interestingly, she is the only woman to hold the WWE Intercontinental Championship, a title currently held by Gunther. Will Rhea Ripley achieve a similar feat in the future?

Rhea Ripley comments on leading the women’s division

“To win a men’s title would be absolutely incredible,” Ripley said via ESPN. “Because of my position in The Judgment Day, I get to mingle with the guys a lot more. Obviously, there are so many females in our division that are capable of doing what I’m doing. They just don’t have the opportunities to do it where I get to be the only female in a group of men, which is so wild.

“And to be the muscle for that group as well, it’s absolutely insane. It’s cool to be a part of what Chyna was doing for the women’s division as well. So, I’m glad I can be the Chyna of this generation while still being Rhea Ripley.”

Rhea Ripley is set to defend her title against Nia Jax in the headlining clash at WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth on February 24.

Mustafa Ali Delivers Emotional Promo After Winning Gold At TNA No Surrender

What a way to kick off his run in TNA Wrestling! Mustafa Ali made his in-ring debut for the promotion and immediately made a major impact. Mustafa Ali has bagged the X-Division title at TNA No Surrender in New Orleans.

Ali was released from WWE in September 2023 after the launch of TKO Group Holdings. After the 90-day non-compete clause expireed, Ali announced that he had a stacked lineup of bookings in the indies and turned his sights on the rebranded TNA Wrestling.

Ali has been busy competing both domestically and abroad, making appearances for GCW, Defy, RevPro, PROGRESS and others. He is also set to make his NJPW debut in April in a match against Hiroshi Takahashi.

Mustafa Ali defeats Chris Sabin

In a highly-anticipated match, Ali prevailed over Chris Sabin in the main event of No Surrender and it marked the first time an X-Division match headlining one of their specials since 2005’s Unbreakable.

In the final moments of the highly competitive match, Ali evaded an avalanche Cradle Shock attempt and counted by hitting a sunset bomb followed by his finisher 450 splash to pick up the win.

It’s worth noting that this title win marks Ali’s first singles title in a major promotion. With the win, Ali put an end to Sabin’s 10th run with the championship that started at last September’s Impact 1000. During his title reign, he successfully defended his title three times.

Following the show, TNA posted a clip on social media in which Mustafa Ali addressed the crowd. Here is what he said:

“This is my first major championship in 20 years. I mean this, whether you love me or hate me, whether you support the campaign or wish for my demise, it has been a pleasure and an honor to compete inside a TNA ring. I have been all over the world. I have wrestled the very best, the very best wrestlers in the world, and by far, that locker room right there, that show tonight in front of all of you, is by far the best locker room I have ever seen. Thank you, good night, and remember, that in Ali, we trust,” Ali said.

Well, it seems that Mustafa Ali is scheduled with TNA through late-March as part of five additional dates that include March’s Sacrifice streaming special and several TV tapings. It has come to light that he will take on Kevin Knight during Saturday’s TV taping in New Orleans.

We will have to wait and see how his title run pans out.

Saraya Announces New AEW Signing During Rampage

AEW star Saraya recently made an important announcement during this week’s AEW Rampage. She revealed that her brother Zak Knight has signed with AEW.

Saraya had been endorsing her brother to wrestle in AEW last year. Ahead of the December 20 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW President Tony Khan gave Knight his opportunity. He went on to make his in-ring debut for ROH in a match that aired on the December 28 Ring of Honor TV episode last year. He also wrestled for the company twice in January, with matches airing on the January 11 show, and the January 25 episode.

Now, he is officially a part of the AEW roster as per Saraya.

Saraya announces signing of Zak Knight

During Friday’s AEW Rampage, the former AEW Women’s World Champion introduced her brother, who is an independent wrestling veteran Zak Knight and stated that he has inked a deal with Tony Khan’s company.

In a backstage promo with Harley Cameron & Renee Paquette, Saraya presented Knight and said that they come from wrestling royalty in the United Kingdom. She stated that she had planned to set Ruby Soho up with her brother before Soho paired up with Angelo Parker. However, Knight did not speak in the promo segment.

On a related note, the movie “Fighting with My Family,” was based on Saraya’s life in pro wrestling. The movie was released in 2019. Also, the 2012 documentary “The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family,” followed Saraya’s career and journey to WWE while also showing her brother Zak failed to make it to the same level.

We will have to wait and see what’s in store for Zak Knight, now that he has joined AEW.

From Getting Bullied to Becoming A Powerhouse: John Cena On How Workout Helped Him Find “new pathways in life”

WWE legend John Cena has become one of the most prominent figures in the world mostly due to his storied career in WWE. His incredible physique and strength have been on display and his accolades make him one of the greatest to ever grace the ring.

Cena, a 16-time World Champion is certainly a powerhouse but he has had the figure while growing up. He has revealed that he was bullied as a child and picked up training to become a muscle man which he is today.

John Cena talks about his weight training journey

Cena had found his passion in workout and it helped him to seek and gain a degree in exercise science and kinesiology from Springfield College in Western Massachusetts. But growing up in his hometown, ‘The Leader of Cenation’ was bullied a lot.

Speaking with Howard Stern, John Cena revealed that he picked up the weights at the age of 13 and never looked back. Over the years he focused on training and during his high school days, he realized that the hard work paid off for him. He said:

“I was getting beat up every day. I didn’t always look like this. I was a small, scrawny kid. I had my dad buy me a weight set to be at home and I just started on my weights at home every day without fail,” Cena recalled. “Because I was getting beat up, I didn’t exactly have a huge social circle, so I had a lot of time to myself.”

He added that the coaches took notice and even wanted him to join the football team. Cena added:

“Three-and-a-half years of working out in the prime of adolescence, and eating well, started to show its yield. It kind of helped me get new pathways in life.”

Though he was all buffed up, Cena never beat up his old bullies and he never will.

“That would be very costly today — that’s a poor management decision,” he said with a laugh.

As Cena became more muscular, many questions surrounded him of using potentially using steroids. He recently cleared the air regarding the matter. Read about it below:

Billy Jack Haynes To Face Arraignment After Being Released From Hospital

We have an update on former WWE star Billy Jack Haynes following a fatal shooting that took place earlier this month.

Haynes was arrested after cops were called to his home in the Lents neighborhood of Portland. After the gunfire, authorities were called. Haynes “eventually came out” of the house and was taken into custody following a lengthy confrontation with the offices.

Haynes was brought into prison two hours later. During the standoff, everyone in his neighborhood was told to stay inside their homes. Although the identity of those involved were not disclosed in the initial reports, it was later claimed that Billy Jack Haynes was the one arrested and that Janette Becraft, his wife, was the one discovered dead, purportedly as a result of a shooting.

Haynes is still in the hospital and he hasn’t been formally detained or prosecuted in connection with his wife’s death.

Billy Jack Haynes yet to be charged

Reports have emerged that Haynes will be charged with the murder, but they are going to be filed the moment he is discharged from the hospital. He is currently in at a local hospital where he is receiving medical attention.

PW Insider reported:

“Charges are forthcoming once Haynes is released and can be booked into jail and face arraignment.”

Haynes had been a massive popular star in the Portland territory and worked with the WWF/E in the late 1980s, in WCW (under as mask as Black Blood) as well as in Florida, World Class Championship Wrestling. Other promotions include Jim Crockett Promotions, New Japan, and other territories.

Haynes departed WWF in early 1988 under some controversy. It is claimed that Haynes quit the WWF after declining to do a job in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. Another version of his exit states that he wrestled the match and agreed to the finish but he was fired afterward.

We will keep you updated when more details of the situation emerge.

Randy Orton Feels He’s In Prime of His Career Post-Surgery

WWE Superstar Randy Orton believes he’s currently in the prime of his career, even after being in the business for more than two decades.

Randy Orton, one of the greatest superstars in WWE, boasts multiple championships and accolades. As a 14-time world champion, he has cemented his legacy as a mainstay in WWE history. Orton’s unparalleled talent, combined with his ability to evolve with the industry, solidifies his status as one of WWE’s most decorated superstars.

Over the years ‘The Viper’ has dealt with his several injuries which have put him on the shelf for months at a time but made his return every time. However, he underwent back surgery in the summer of 2022 which put his wrestling future up in the air. The procedure was serious enough that retirement seemed to be a possibility. But, he managed to battle through it and made a triumphant return at WWE Survivor Series last year.

Randy Orton:  I’m smack-dab in the middle of my prime

Randy Orton recently joined in for an interview with Bleacher Report and spoke about the possibly considering retirement prior to the surgery. MRI results showed that there was an good amount of degeneration in his back as well as stenosis on the lower spine and slipped disc.

He concluded that no shot was going to help him and that spinal fusion was his only option.
Orton also revealed that he dealt with persistent pain after damaging his back in the ring between 2010 and 2020. Here is what he said:

“The surgery was a success. I put on 30 pounds of muscle, purely because of my change in diet and the fact that I was able to train differently and areas I had to leave alone for such a long time. My body really reacted. I feel, at 275 pounds, I’m the weight that I should be, so I feel great now.

I feel like I got a new lease on life that, at 43, I can honestly say I’m smack-dab in the middle of my prime. Some people might roll their eyes at that statement after 24 years in the business, but that’s how I feel. Never in my 30s was I feeling this durable or as pain-free as am I now. I’ve got a new outlook and I don’t want to take a second for granted because I realized how quickly it can all be taken away because it almost was.”

Randy Orton is set to compete against Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, LA Knight, Kevin Owens and Logan Paul in the Elimination Chamber match for a World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania 40.

The 2024 Elimination Chamber event will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Optus Stadium in the Perth, Australia. The show will start at 5:00 AM EST, and keep an eye on SEScoops for the coverage of the show.

Nick Hogan Court Hearing Date For DUI Arrest Revealed

Nick Hogan (real name Nick Bollea) was arrested for DUI in November last year. It has now come to light that his court hearing will be taking place this Friday, February 22.

Nick, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s son was arrested on the morning of November 18, 2023, at 4 AM in Clearwater, FL. It took place following his return home from a bikini contest at his father’s restaurant. Reports suggested that he refused to submit to a breathalyzer test after being taken into custody.

Per the arrest report, Bollea’s 2021 Dodge Ram approached a traffic stop that was set up by officers. He was signaled to pull over but Nick did not vacate the lane or reduce his speed.

Cops caught him driving 51 mph in a 40 mph zone. He showed signs of impairment, having a strong odor of alcohol, swaying balance, and bloodshot, glassy eyes. In field sobriety tests, he did not fare well.

Police bodycam footage showed Nick Hogan initially denying alcohol consumption and then blaming the scent of alcohol on kissing his girlfriend, who had been drinking. Nick’s father, Hulk Hogan, was also seen making his way to the scene after Nick was stopped.

Nick Hogan is set for court hearing on 2/23

As per Mike Johnson of PW Insider, Nick Hogan is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing Friday at 9:30 AM in Pinellas County Court in Florida. The hearing was originally set for 1/17 but had been delayed.

On December 21 last year, Nick Hogan’s attorneys had filed a motion which requested permission for him to enter venues serving alcohol to perform his occupational duties as a DJ. It’s worth noting that this plea came in after a court order prohibited him from frequenting such establishments as a condition of his release. Now, the court has yet to rule on the motion.

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Nick Hogan.

Watch: Hangman Page Confirms Foot Injury “Is Bad” In Post AEW Dynamite (2/21) Footage

Former AEW World Champion Hangman Page sustained an injury during the headlining match of last night’s AEW Dynamite.

The main event of the show saw a 6-man tag match in which Page, Rob Van Dam, and Hook faced Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland, and Brian Cage in a losing effort. In the final moments of the match, Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch on the pro wrestling legend RVD, which forced him to fade and suffer the defeat for his team.

However, an unfortunate moment unfolded for Hangman Page, who suffered an injury while taking a move from the AEW World Champion. When Joe attempted to hit his finisher Muscle Buster, Page managed to counter but landed awkwardly on the mat. It seems that the awkward landing caused the injury as Hangman promptly rolled out of the ring and grasped his ankle. On a related note, AEW star Adam Cole is also sidelined with an ankle injury.

This was the last action Hangman Page took part in. After the match concluded, the cameraman tried to get the lens on him ringside, but he made them go away saying: “Stop, don’t shoot me.”

As per @Space_Cabbie who was at the show, Hangman was visibly angry and punched the floor, and kept saying “it’s bad…my foot”.

Steve Austin Names UFC Fighters Who Can Crossover To WWE

Steve Austin wants to see UFC fighters Colby Covington and Sean Strickland in WWE and that’s the bottom line. Why? Because ‘Stone Cold’ said so.

A crossover between WWE and MMA has been quite common as a bunch of former MMA fighters have been a part of WWE. Now, with the recent formation of TKO Group Holdings, WWE and the UFC come under one umbrella which means more crossovers are likely to happen.

At UFC 298, WWE stars Bianca Belair and Montez Ford were spotted in attendance. Meanwhile, on this week’s Monday Night Raw, UFC lightweight Michael Chandler made an appearance and went on to call out former UFC Double Champion Conor McGregor.

Now, Steve Austin has stated that he feels that the aforementioned UFC fighters could taste success in the squared circle as well.

Steve Austin outlines why he wants Sean Strickland and Colby Covington in WWE

Speaking with ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, Stone Cold Steve Austin highlighted former UFC Middleweight Champion Sean Strickland’s mic skills while he said Colby Covington backs his trash-talking with incredible athletic ability which could help in WWE.

“If I’m going right now, I’m going Sean Strickland,” Austin said. “I like Sean Strickland. Boy, he stays economic in the Octagon right now, but what a promo. And so, then I go with Colby Covington. All the trash talk, all the athletic ability. Guy never runs out of gas, he’s always in shape, talks a mean streak and can back it up. He’s very exciting, he has that X-factor that you always look for. He’s double tough.”

Strickland has built a reputation for speaking his mind without any reluctance which has garnered a lot of attention lately. It is something that could come in handy for him in WWE. Meanwhile, Covington’s trash talk could be put to the test against some of the biggest mic workers if he decides to ever step foot in WWE.

While they are being highlighted to crossover to WWE, former WWE tag-team Champion Montez Ford expressed his desire to compete in UFC.

AEW veteran commentator Jim Ross recently shared positive updates on his health.

Ross has been facing health issues recently but he has now disclosed that he’s making good progress in his recovery. ‘Good Ol’ JR has combated skin cancer multiple times. Jim Ross provides an update on his recovery

Recently, taking to his Twitter/X account, Jim Ross revealed that it was his first day out of the rehab facility and said he is improving daily. He went on to disclose that he was using a cane. However, his recovery is going well. He wrote:

“First full day on Jax Beach and out of the rehab facility! Using a cane for now. Improving daily. Broken hip responding well. Excited for my future with @AEW!” Ross tweeted.

Ross has been with AEW since 2019, after his controversial firing from WWE. He has lent his iconic voice to several memorable AEW matches. However, a concern remains for him as he is yet to pen a contract extension with the promotion.
