Yoshi Tatsu Rants About Lord Tensai’s Name & Vows To Defeat Him

Despite getting crushed by Lord Tensai several weeks ago, Yoshi Tatsu continues to rant about Tensai, stating that Tensai’s name is in bad taste and vowing to defeat Lord Tensai. Here’s what Tatusu wrote:

“As of today, I am planning to post several tweets regarding my thoughts and feelings toward Lord Tensai. First of all, I have a strong reason why I must defeat Lord Tensai. As in my Japanese lesson, “tensai” means natural disaster.”

“As everyone knows, Japan experienced a major earthquake and tsunami on March 11th of last year. More than 15,000 people lost their lives, over 5,000 people are still missing, and more than 5,000 people were injured. In addition, over 130,000 people lost their homes. Sadly, the recovery has been very slow. Many people are still living in temporary housing, without jobs. Moreover, the Japanese people haven’t been able to recover from the grief of losing family members, including children who lost their parents.”

“Out of respect, I strongly urge Lord Tensai to change his name. As Japanese superstar of WWE, I cannot tolerate him using this name during Japanese appearance. Even though he is tremendously big and very strong, I will defeat him someday. Japan was defeated by natural disasters – “TENSAI”. And I, Yoshi Tatsu is the one who defeats that “TENSAI”. When I beat him, I will make him change his name. This is #YoshiRevolution Episode 1.”

* WWE Storylines Revealed For Summer & Who Brock Lesnar Will Wrestle This Year

Update On Triple H’s Health After Brock Lesnar’s Attack

The WWE website has an article up looking at possible consequences for Brock Lesnar following his brutal attack on Triple H on Monday’s RAW Supershow.

The article states that Lesnar was escorted from the building by security and may be suspended or fined for attacking the COO. Since Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract stipulates that he is only required to make approximately 2 appearances per month, this will be a way to get him off television for a few weeks.

As per the storyline, Triple H’s arm was placed in a hold that “created a tremendous amount of torque on his upper arm and elbow.” WWE doctor Dr. Chris Amann was quoted in the article:

“He has a non-displaced fracture of distal humorous. Fortunately, this is not something that needs surgery with pins and screws. We’ll be treating him with a sling for comfort and following with him in the next few days.”

According to WWE sources, Triple H is on the list of WWE superstars scheduled to wrestle Brock Lesnar over the next year.

Video Of Eve Firing The Bella Twins, Belas Comment

Bella Twins Leaving WWE

As previously reported, the Bella Twins are gone from WWE. The WWE storyline was that they were “fired,” but the reality is that their contracts were expiring at the end of April and they decided not to re-sign.

As recently as last week, there was a storyline in place for Kharma to return and destroy the Bella Twins to explain their departure, but that angle was scrapped when the details leaked online.

The Bella Twins tweeted the following after being released:

“Bella’s have left the building… Happy ending at the Nutter center??? Well at least we finished it off! #ByeByeBellas”

Kelly Kelly also commented on their departure:

“I’m gonna miss my besties @thebellatwins We’ve had an amazing 5 years together and I love you like my sisters …Thank u for everything!”

The WWE website has posted a video of Eve Torres firing the Bellas, which you can see here:

Hulk Hogan’s “New Concept” For TNA Possibly Revealed

Hulk Hogan recently told the New York Post that he has a “new concept” that will “change the business” and be a “momentum shifting” idea. Hogan is so confident that the idea will work that he told the post:

“We are going to give more power to the fans, make them more involved and more important. I can’t say much more, but I can say this, I’m either going to be really right on this one or really wrong. If I’m wrong, you probably won’t see me again because I’ll be hightailing it out of here.”

Now, word has gotten out about what the concept is – and we’re left wondering whether Hogan’s days in TNA could be numbered.

At Monday’s Impact Wrestling tapings, the word going around the TNA locker room is that the new concept is something where TNA will be calling on their fans to film TNA wrestlers whenever they may encounter them, in or out of the ring, TMZ/paparazzi-style.

Sources in TNA say talent is not thrilled with the idea, with people joking about Hogan encouraging “candid footage” of TNA stars – considering how badly his own image has been hurt by TMZ coverage (his divorce, Nick Hogan’s car wreck, his sex tape, etc.).

Brock Lesnar Goes Ballistic Backstage At Extreme Rules

Brock Lesnar’s match with John Cena at Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view got rave reviews from most fans who saw the show, but Lesnar went ballistic backstage after the match and was screaming at WWE officials and ripping apart the locker room.

According to PWinsider.com, the huge blow-up took place because of the promo John Cena cut after the match.

The original plan was for Cena to be so badly hurt by Lesnar that even though he won, he would be stretchered out, which would keep Lesnar looking strong.

Lesnar perceived Cena’s speech as a double cross by WWE officials and totally lost it backstage.

The angle on RAW with Lesnar and Triple H and Lesnar’s temporary departure from WWE television was the plan all along, but relations between Lesnar and WWE are not good at the moment.

WWE RAW Results: April 30, 2012

HHH says he will understand if Lesnar feels wronged and wants to go home with his loss to Cena in the books. HHH says he doesn’t want that and neither does Lesnar. HHH asks Brock what is it going to be. Laurinaitis says it’s not fair to put Brock in this position. HHH says this is between he and Brock now. Laurinaitis won’t shut up and it pisses HHH off.

Hulk Hogan Plans To Leave TNA If New Concept Doesn’t Work

Hulk Hogan was recently interviewed by the New York Post and said he plans to leave TNA if his new idea for Impact Wrestling does not work out:

“We are going to give more power to the fans, make them more involved and more important. I can’t say much more, but I can say this, I’m either going to be really right on this one or really wrong. If I’m wrong, you probably won’t see me again because I’ll be hightailing it out of here.”

Hogan also said that former WWE superstars John Morrison and Chris Masters have reached out to TNA hoping to get a shot at TNA’s new “Gut Check” segment on Impact Wrestling.

John Cena Confirmed For RAW, No “New Face Of WWE”

– John Cena confirmed on Twitter this morning that he will be at tonight’s WWE RAW Supershow from Dayton, Ohio:

“Making medical rounds now to find out what is up. I will be on #RAW to let everyone know. #nevergiveup”

Brock Lesnar will also be there to react to his loss last night.

Speaking of Cena and Lesnar, the WWE website has an article up talking about how there is no “new face of WWE” –

“While the world waits to learn the fate of John Cena, who alluded to possibly “going away for a while” in the aftermath of the brawl on pay-per-view, the WWE Universe takes solace in knowing there will be no “new face of WWE.” On the contrary, in the fallout of Extreme Rules 2012, the face of WWE still features a tightly formed salute below the brim of a bright green hat. For now.”

Backstage Reaction To Extreme Rules, Punk-Jericho Feud

The general consensus backstage at Extreme Rules was that the show was a success and came off well on television. The CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho Chicago Street Fight and the Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena matches in particular received rave reviews.

There was a lot of talk about Cena going over Lesnar in the main event, with many thinking that Brock Lesnar should not have lost his first match back in WWE. Lesnar is a very unique special attraction as a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and the argument against him losing to Cena is that now he could be perceived as “just another superstar.”

That said, WWE management loved the energy in the arena for the Lesnar vs. Cena match and it definitely came off like a special match.

As for the CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho, it’s expected that their feud will continue.

Update On Who Will Star In WWE Studios’ The Marine 3: Homefront

There are conflicting reports going around regarding the upcoming WWE Studios film The Marine 3: Homefront and whether John Cena will be starring in the movie. At this time, nobody has signed on as the lead role.

At one point, Cena was considered for the movie with the idea that he would pick back up where the first Marine movie left off. Randy Orton was then attached to the movie, but WWE pulled Orton from the movie due to Orton being kicked out of the Marines when he was younger and the Marines he served with complaining about a “deserter” portraying a Marine in WWE’s movie.

Other wrestlers under consideration for the lead role have included CM Punk, JTG, Cody Rhodes and a few others.

WWE officials have reportedly decided on the Superstar who will appear in the movie but have been holding off on the announcement

Filming for The Marine 3: Homefront begins in June.

Backstage News On Rey Mysterio’s Wellness Violation

WWE announced last week that Rey Mysterio has been suspended for 60 days for his second violation of the company Wellness Policy, but the failed drug test actually took place back on February 13th. According to reliable sources and other reputable news sites,  Mysterio reportedly tested positive for amphetamines.

Rey showed up to the RAW Supershow on February 13th in San Diego and was informed that he had to take a drug test immediately. When he was informed about the failed drug test for amphetamines, Mysterio was shocked and denied using the drug – swearing that he’s been living a clean lifestyle.

Rey believes he failed the test because of a medication he took that caused the positive for amphetamines. WWE did not buy his story as they went public with the failure last week.

John Cena Possibly Injured & Taking Time Off

John Cena appeared to have injured his left arm during his match with Brock Lesnar at tonight’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view, and hinted that he may be leaving for awhile.

After defeating the former UFC heavyweight champion at tonight’s event, Cena took the mic and addressed the crowd.

“I’m probably going to get sent home for speaking when I’m not spoken to, but I think I’m headed home anyway. And if I know my boss, he’s going to kick me out the door, but he’s going to do it on air, so I hope this is for the world to see.”

“Chicago, I know this is CM Punk’s town, but above all else, this is a wrestling town. Tonight, you people were supposed to see the extreme. I’ve got no left arm, I’m tasting my own blood… and I’m damn proud to say it was in Chicago, IL.”

“All of us — good guys, bad guys, big guys, small guys — all of us give everything we have every night for you guys. And if I gotta take a vacation, so be it. If I’m going away for a while, I just wanna say thanks for one hell of a last ride. I feel great tonight, even with this Chicago crowd that may or may not like me. I listen to that and I think, if I’m going out, I wouldn’t want to do it any other way! Thank you guys, go home safe!”

While heading to the back, Cena told officials that he couldn’t move his arm, but he knows it’s not torn.

RAW Preview: Brock Lesnar, Extreme Rules Fallout

At Extreme Rules, John Laurinaitis was seen in a backstage segment taking a phone call from Triple H. Laurinaitis later revealed that he would address what he and Triple H spoke about on Monday’s WWE RAW Supershow. Michael Cole later announced that Triple H would “be a part of RAW” tonight.

“Aggressive start w/ hard work by Orton and Kane. Orton w/ RKO on chair in the ring does it. Chicago crowd looks/sounds great.”

“Say what you want naysayers but Brodus Clay is an athletic big man. Ziggler fans remember…the cream rises to the top.”

“Daniel Bryan might be the best, pure, multi talented pro wrestler in WWE right now. If he’s not the best, he’s close.”

“Punk w/ a @ShawnMichaels like elbow off top turnbuckle onto Jericho who was on Spanish announce table. Damn. Heck of a Chicago Street Fight. Punk wins w/ GTS. Excellent match. Physical. @CMPunk & @IAmJericho especially earned their pay in a big way tonite.”

“Layla returns from a LONG physical rehab stint to win the Divas Title in what was essentially a handicap match vs the Bella’s.”

“Credit also goes to Brock Lesnar in a losing effort. Loved his offense. Cena endured an amazing beating. Both men are legit beasts.”

John Cena Going Thug? Bagwell Update, AW’s Stable

– As seen on Monday’s RAW, John Cena came to the ring for his Extreme Rules contract signing with a chain wrapped around his fist. The WWE website has a new article up looking at Edge’s pep talk to Cena that speculates whether Cena will bring out his “thug” side in order to defeat Brock Lesnar. Here’s an excerpt:

“Maybe a stern message from The Master Manipulator was what Cena needed all along. On Sunday night at Extreme Rules, will Cena heed Edge’s call and unleash ruthless aggression to shock Lesnar? Or is he just going to wind up the first victim in Brock’s fearsome quest to take over WWE?”

– Abraham Washington continued to offer his managerial services to WWE superstars on Friday’s SmackDown. He told WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo that they need to tell him by Monday whether they want him represent them.

AW also offered his professional services to Ryback.

The breathing tube was removed on Wednesday and Buff is now talking and eating solid foods.

Goldberg Talks One Final Match, Steve Austin & Brock Lesnar

Former WWE & WCW star Bill Goldberg recently appeared on Washington DC’s 106.7 The Fan and spoke about the possibility of working for WWE again, still wanting to wrestle “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and his thoughts on Brock Lesnar. Here are some highlights of what Golberg said about:

Having One Final Match:

“It’s really tough for a guy like myself. Look at a guy like Animal. Look at Road Warrior. Look at guys who are big power guys. . . the older you get the harder it is to be that guy.”

He continued and said it’s very hard to maintain the muscular appearance that fans remember him for – and he doesn’t want to return and have a crappy match.

Still Wanting To Wrestle Steve Austin & Why It Won’t Happen:

“That’d be a dream come true… that’d be killer. I think at the end of the day they probably don’t trust me enough to put me in there with guys, considering I’m ‘a dangerous guy to work with’ and ‘I haphazardly ended Bret Hart’s career.’ At the end of the day these people have to understand it’s a violent deal, number one. Number two, accidents happen. And number three, that’s why I work in Japan — they don’t cry if you hit them …That’s a joke.”

He & Brock Lesnar’s Departure From WWE After WrestleMania 20:

“Obviously it was kind of unfinished business. We both left there under circumstances that weren’t the most favorable for anybody, let alone the fans who are the most important at the end of the day.”

His Opinion Of Brock Lesnar:

“Brock, as a young kid, he succeeded in every single thing that he did. To venture out and try to play professional football without having college experience — LaVar will tell you how hard that is. Big pat on the back to him for that. And then going to MMA and succeeding and becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. . . Whatever Brock wants to do, I’m in his corner. He’s a good buddy of mine and we talk frequently. I just hope at the end of the day whatever he chooses his health is in a positive note. We all know he’s had some issues over the past number of years.”

“@WWE censored me again! WTF!!!”
