  • Morrison Injured, Crazed Mickie James Fan In Court, Lovitz Sued

    – WWE RAW superstar John Morrison has not been on television as of late because he is still dealing with an ankle injury. No word yet on when he’ll be back in action.

    – Zavr Peygumbari, the crazed Mickie James fan who threatened to blow up WWE headquarters after Mickie James was released, was in court today to face the charges filed against him. He applied for an “accelerated rehabilitation” probation program. If he is accepted into the program, he can be put on probation for up to two years and if probation is completed, the charges would be dismissed. Zavr is due back in court on June 22nd.

    – WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper will be performing this Thursday night at Jon Lovitz’ Comedy Club in Los Angeles.

    – Speaking of Jon Lovitz, he’s being sued by the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team for almost $100,000, according to CBSNews.com. According to the Dodgers, Lovitz purchased three “Dugout Club” luxury seats at Dodger Stadium in March 2008 for the 2008-2010 seasons. The Dodgers canceled Lovitz’s seats in April because of non-payment for this year.

  • RAW Rating Is In & It’s Not Pretty

Monday’s episode of WWE RAW featuring John Lovitz as guest host drew a 3.11 cable rating, down from last week’s 3.4.

The show averaged 4.5 million viewers, with a 3.07 in hour one and a 3.15 in hour two.

Considering the fact that WWE put on a pretty loaded show with Bret Hart being named the new RAW GM, Batista’s official farewell and the Fatal 4 Way qualifying matches, a 3.1 has to be considered disappointing.

  • Borash Talks TNA Roster Cuts, iMPACT! Leaving Monday Nights

TNA announcer Jeremy Borash was a guest on the “Right After Wrestling” radio show last night and spoke in-depth about TNA iMPACT! leaving Monday nights and returning to Thursdays.

“I think it’s definitely a different era. It would have been nice to re-capture the competitive spirit of being on Monday nights, but at the end of the day, it was just more of an inconvenience. Perhaps being back on Thursday nights, we can prosper and thrive.  At the same time, I would have liked to have stuck it out a little bit longer on Mondays, especially at a point where there were very exciting programs that we did produce.” He added, “There are a lot of things about the Monday Night Wars that we could have taken part in and really brought some popularity to the idea of it again.”

Borash was also asked about the online reports that TNA will be letting go 15-20 superstars in coming weeks in order to save money.

“I don’t know if you look at it as roster cuts. You don’t say anything or we don’t hear anything about when we spend more money to hire people. When you say ‘roster cuts,’ it obviously invokes an ‘oooh’ kind of feeling to it,” Borash said. “At the same time, we have 60-something people under contract, so I think it’s a natural evolution of business. Sometimes you do have to trim the fat. The programs are being written differently where less people are being featured more prominently.”

Borash also spoke also responded to criticism that “Total Nonstop Action Wrestling” and “TNA” are terrible names for a wrestling promotion. Many have pointed out that the name is grammatically awkward and the letters “TNA” conjure up images of what the acronym is most commonly known for – “tits and ass.”

“We have years of promotion invested in it and it’s definitely something, you know – what it is, Total Nonstop Action – they are three easy-to-remember letters. Whether you like it or you don’t like it, it’s stuck around and it’s definitely made us three easy letters to remember.”

Batista “Quitting” WWE: “As for Batista, I never know how permanent ‘quitting’ really is. The only two I’ve seen quit, and truly not come back yet are JBL and HBK.”

After a number of fans jumped on Cena’s remark that Shawn Michaels “quit” WWE, Cena clarified his comment by saying, “Sorry, outpouring of tweets are correct. HBK did retire, which isn’t as angry as quitting.”

  • WWE RAW Results: New RAW GM, Batista Quits, Fatal 4 Way

    Report by Kendra

RAW this week starts with a video flashback to Cena and Batista’s ‘I Quit’ Match last night at Over The Limit. Batista put Cena through an announce table. Batista threatened to send Cena over the side in the audience, but it was Batista who went. Batista backed a car into Cena, but didn’t. Up on the roof of the car Cena had Batista up for the AA and Batista quit. Cena still sent Batista flying. Cana celebrated on the stage and turned around, right into a big boo from Sheamus.

    Music and pyro.

Batista is announced and he comes out helped by two refs. He’s badly limping, arm in a sling, ribs taped under his jacket. One arm around one of the ref’s the other there making sure he doesn’t fall. behind his sunglasses he has a huge black eye (right), but I can’t tell if it’s real or makeup. Cole says it took emergency personnel twenty minute to extract Batista from the floor after the AA. In the ring they put him in a wheelchair and then he yelled at the refs to leave. He then demanded his spotlight. He said last night he said two words he never thought he’d say, but he did because his life was being threatened. Because of Cena’s actions, he’s contemplating filing suit against Cena, the WWE, and every fan in the WWE Universe for supporting what happened to him. That’s not the way matches are supposed to happen. Duct tape, being thrown off cars. He could stoop to Cena’s level, but he believes in something called honor. “You suck” chants. Because of multiple injuries he’s out week, months, even years. Cheer now, he’ll be back. One way or another he’ll be back for a rematch. Justin then jumps in and says he’s been told to announce the new RAW GM. WWE HOFer, Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart!!! Batista is screaming from his wheelchair, demanding Bret leave the ring. Bret says there’s a new sheriff in town, what he says, goes. On June 20th there will be a new PPV concept called Fatal Four Way. If Cena’s still Champion at the time, he’s going to take on three different competitors, all three of whom will be decided tonight. Batista wants to face Cena? He can qualify right now. Batista says he’s in a wheel chair, hurt. Bret says he knows Batista’s hurt, but so’s his opponent, Randy Orton. Batista asks what’s Bret’s malfunction? Bret says take it or forfeit. Batista says Bret doesn’t have the authority to do that! If he does that, Batista will quit. Bret calls it a forfeit and Orton’s the winner. Batista still yells and screams as Bret leaves, demanding Bret return. Bret doesn’t even glance back at Batista. Batista says Bret thinks he’s kidding, this place is nothing without him, will go bankrupt without him, they all come to see him. Off comes the glasses. Batista yelled, “I quit!” He gets up and the refs are there to help him. The singing in the arena starts. Of course the fans have to sing him out. Batista tells them all to kiss his ass – bleeped of course! The ref push him up the ramp. Justin says, “Let’s hear it for Batista!” The fans give a HUGE boo!

He’s a better Canadian than either of them are. Bret smirks. Edge says he’ll prove it tonight. Jericho tells Bret to not make an enemy out of Jericho, if he does, taking this job will be the worst decision of his life. Bret says he looks forward to it.

    – Commercial

R-Truth is first out to the ring to fight for the US Championship. Miz comes out, mic in hand. As he walks down the ramp he says R-Truth is always asking ‘what’s up’. Well, what’s up is he’s taking back what shouldn’t have been taken from him in the first place. He’s the Miz and he’s awesome.

Miz backed into a corner, then kicked R-Truth. R-Truth ducked a clothesline and dropkicked Miz. Back and forth until R-Truth got the pin for two. Miz rolled out to regroup.

He won and was on cloud nine, then bam, kicked in the face whiter than cloud nine. Some think he’s moonlighting as Beaker with a mean chip on his shoulder. Some people push their whole lives with one chance to hold the title. But those who hold it realize how hard it is to keep it. Each Champion has to decide to run or fight, he fights. He won’t always hold it, but the next person who takes it will earn it. He’s sick of accepting challenges, from now on he makes them. Everybody’s on notice, Orton, Edge Jericho, even the human jar of mayo himself, Sheamus. Cena will rain down a world of hurt on any threat. News Flash, he’s done playing nice. The C Nation is here.

  • Bret Hart Is The New RAW GM, Batista Quits WWE

It was just announced that WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart is the new General Manager of RAW.  SEScoops.com reported the news earlier today.

Bret Hart came out and confronted Batista, who was in the ring in a wheel chair. Bret said at Fatal 4 Way, John Cena will defend the WWE Championship against 3 other superstars in one match and we’ll see qualifying matches later in the show. Bret told Batista that he’ll get a rematch against Cena at Fatal 4 Way if he can defeat Randy Orton tonight. Batista says he’s unable to wrestle and will quit WWE if Bret makes him face Orton. Bret declared the match a forfeit and announced that Randy Orton qualifies. Batista didn’t think Bret or the audience believed his threat that he’d leave WWE and the wrestling industry completely – but went off in a rage and swore that he was done and screamed “I Quit”. The crowed jeered Batista as he left the ring for the last time.

So Batista is gone from WWE and Randy Orton is the first superstar to qualify for the RAW main event at Fatal 4 Way.

Sheamus also defeated Mark Henry in a qualifying match, so its John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. 1 more superstar.

  • Ric Flair Talks Coming Out Of Retirement, HBK’s Retirement

TNA star Ric Flair recently spoke to Minnesota’s Duluth News Tribune to promote an upcoming TNA live event in the region. Here are some highlights of what the Nature Boy said about:

Retiring At WrestleMania 24: “I don’t know what I thought at the time. Remember that it was WWE that decided to retire Ric Flair. Obviously it was very emotional for myself, Shawn, and my fans. It is not easy to do this for as long as I have and then all of a sudden quit because the company you work for tells you to. I’m not bashing WWE as I have great respect for the group. I believe that the whole set up was beautiful and they did a great job with the hall of fame ceremony and the goodbye on Raw afterward. But I am not ready to sit at home and build a garden. I feel great, I work hard, and I am ready to keep going.”

Coming Out Of Retirement: “The athlete in question is the only person that truly knows if they are ready to retire. No one else .. The only one that truly will know the right time to stop is myself .. I was provided a unique opportunity and had a blast going to Australia. I feel I have a lot more to offer and that is what I am doing. I love TNA and feel that they have the right tools to be something huge. I am having just as much fun now as I did in the ’80s and that is saying something.”

Shawn Michaels’ Retirement: “I think Shawn definitely wants to be a family man and be home with his wife. I do, however, feel that he will have a return match at a pay per view sometime down the line.”

How Much He Is Like His On-Air Character: “Enough to give my attorney a few sleepless nights.”

  • JR Blog: Orton’s Injury, Punk Gets Staples In His Head & More

Here are some highlights from what Jim Ross said in his latest blog at JRsBarBQ.com:

Randy Orton’s Injury: “Randy Orton’s apparent shoulder injury, I can’t be sure if it is a shoulder or the seriousness of the injury, really had a profound affect on the PPV. The Orton-Edge match ended as best it could by most standards. Orton, obvious and excruciating pain gutted it out to his credit. After this match the show seemed to valley somewhat until the final bout.

“If, big if, it is Randy’s shoulder, it won’t be the first time that RKO has suffered shoulder issues. Officials will know more Monday regarding Randy’s status. Hopefully this will be a deal where Orton’s off for only a brief period of time and won’t require any surgery to tighten up the shoulder. OU, now Minnesota Viking running back, Adrian Peterson had the same issues his freshman year at Oklahoma but surgery took care of his issues and he did not miss that much time…

“I sure hope that Randy Orton is going to be O.K. as losing him especially hurts. Randy hit me with a text late Sunday night and he’s not even sure what the verdict will be until tomorrow. Raw is going to be an especially compelling, two hours of live TV Monday night.”

CM Punk Getting Staples In His Head: “C.M. Punk got 13-15 staples in his head as a result of his hair raising and hair losing match to Rey Mysterio. This match essentially had to be restarted after Punk got busted open and needed medical care and restart it did! Punk resembled the Dynamite Kid and took his offense to a complete another gear. Very impressive stuff. Joey Styles Twittered that Rey gave Punk the Hulk Hogan haircut. That was just downright mean from ‘Stocky Balboa.’”

His Professional Future: “Regarding the never ending tale, my own going business saga, I feel comfortable in saying that we honestly hope to have some definitive news regarding our next, professional chapter later this week. It’s nice to have options and the time to make an educated and timely decision. I am motivated to get this business behind me especially for my dear wife’s sanity. I’m personally past helping but I can’t or won’t continue to run her through the mill with the phone calls, etc that seemingly never stop.”

Drew McIntyre is out next to a bit of heat, flaunting his title.

The bell rings, and we’re ready to kick things off in this one. Winner and NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion: Drew McIntyre

After the match, Drew McIntyre grabs a mic and calls out for Teddy Long. He says he’s only going to say this once. This PPV will stop right now until Teddy Long gets out and reverses the decision.

CM Punk is backstage looking into a mirror. He asks who’s the purest of them all, Gallows says Punk. He asks who the savior is for all these Detriot hooligans, and Gallows and Serena say Punk. He asks who leaves purity intact tonight, and they say Punk. Punk says he’ll have Mysterio by his side, and that he’ll be joining them tonight. Gallows looks upset, but Punk says it’s for the greater good, and that tonight, they give birth to straight edge Mysterio. Gallows hugs Punk while Punk smiles into the mirror.

    R-Truth vs. Ted DiBiase

We get a quick video recap of the short backstage segment that led to this match. R-Truth is out to the ring first doing his rapping schtick, for which he gets a nice pop.

Dibiase’s music hits, and he makes his way out to the ring with Virgil in tow, and of course wearing the Million Dollar Title.

The bell rings, and both men lock up. Truth tries for the go behind, but Dibiase catches his arm. Truth turns it around, but finds himself backed up into the corner. Truth goes to punch Dibiase, but Ted goes between the ropes and the ref breaks it up. Dibiase catches Truth with a side head lock, and goes back to work on the arm, but Truth turns it right around. Dibiase slaps Truth across the face, and Truth responds with one of his own. Truth pounds on Dibiase against the ropes, and the ref has to break it up again. Truth ducks a clothesline, and hits a kick to Dibiase’s head. Truth sends Dibiase to the floor with a clothesline over the top. On the outside, Truth confronts Dibiase, then turns around and slaps Dibiase before sending him back into the ring.

Virgil is able to distract Truth, allowing Dibiase to hit a neckbreaker on Truth. Dibiase tosses Truth to the outside, he follows and immediate drives him back first into the barricade before sending him right back in. Truth tries to fight back, but Dibiase takes him up and stomach first down to the mat. Dibiase kicks away at Truth in the corner, but Truth comes right back. Truth goes into the ropes, but Dibiase follows to confuse him, and then hits a clothesline, sending him down to the mat. Dibiase locks in a rear chin lock.

Dibiase goes to the second rope and he tries for a double ax handle smash, but Truth catches him with a punch to the stomach. Truth places Dibiase on the top rope, and asks the crowd what’s up. Dibiase fights out of the superplex attempt, but Truth comes right back, hitting the ropes and making Ted crotch himself. Winner: R-Truth

Teddy Long is on the phone, he says things are going great and he can’t wait to see John Cena vs. Batista. McIntyre is in and he demands that Long change the results of the match. Long says he can’t do that. Drew says he will, and he’ll also fire Matt Hardy right now. Long says he won’t. McIntyre starts destroying the office. He looks over at a picture of Martin Luther King Jr. and Long pleads with him to not destroy it. McIntyre says he wants it to stay, because he’s a leader. And Long is spineless and gutless, because McIntyre is more like King than Long will ever be. We get an awkward camera shot of Long next to the picture of MLK Jr.

    SES Pledge vs. Punk’s Hair
    Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk

We get a video package, mainly focusing on the last few weeks of this feud, and the events that have led up to this match, and this particular stipulation.

There is a barber chair, and just so carefully places bottles of Gillette shaving cream next to ringside, like, literally next to the ring.

CM Punk is out to the ring first without Serena or Gallows, because apparently all outside parties have been banned from ringside. Punk looks at the barber’s chair, and shakes his finger no, saying it won’t happen.

Punk doesn’t get any mic time in front of the crowd, as Mysterio’s music hits, and he’s out in a very yellow get-up, to a very loud pop.

Mysterio picks up the clippers, and Punk holds up his right hand for the pledge.

The bell rings, and Punk tries talking to Mysterio, trying to get him to pledge. Rey puts his hand up, and Punk attacks, laying into Mysterio with boots in the corner. Mysterio fights back when Punk backs off for a second, and he beats on Punk in the corner, but Punk is quick to turn it around. Punk tries to dive over the top rope, but Rey moves. Mysterio runs into the ring, and comes right back out with a hurricarana to the floor. Pukn and Rey fight out on the floor with Rey rubbing Punk’s face into the side of the barber’s chair.

Back in the ring, Mysterio tries for the 619, but Punk moves and catches Rey with a kick. Punk takes Mysterio and launches him through the ropes and outside into the barber’s chair. Mysterio eats it and knocks over the chair. The ref checks on him, then goes back into the ring. Punk has apparently been busted open somehow, and the ref has stopped the match for a trainer to get into the ring to fix Punk up. Punk looks really unhappy with this, rolling his eyes the whole time.

Mysterio is able to roll back up onto the ring apron, and Punk is back up, hitting a baseball slide to send Mysterio back to the floor. Punk launches Mysterio into one barricade, then another, and then hits a vicious suplex on the outside.

Back in the ring, Punk goes for the cover but only gets two. Punk locks in a submission, focusing on Mysterio’s neck, wrapping his legs around Mysterio’s head and neck. Mysterio is able to kick his way out of the submission, and he gets up to his feet where he hits a couple more kicks and scores a quick roll up. Punk comes back with a huge lariat out of nowhere that’s good for a two count.

Punk hits Mysterio with a series of falling fist drops, shouting out parts of the Straight Edge Society pledge, before picking Mysterio back up and kicking away at him. Punk charges Mysterio in the corner, and Rey’s able to counter with a sunset flip powerbomb, but Punk kicks out at two. Both men are on their knees where they trade punches and kicks. Back on their feet, and Mysterio gets the advantage with a springboard cross body that’s good for two.

Mysterio is up and he kicks Punk’s chest. Mysterio charges Punk, but Punk launches Mysterio into the corner, face first. Punk hits the running knee, but when he tries for a running bulldog, Mysterio sends Punk into the ropes instead. Punk avoids the 619, and hits a tiger driver backbreaker, that’s good for another near fall. Punk smiles as he looks over at Mysterio. He gets to his feet, and goes for the G2S, but Mysterio fights out, almost hitting a hurricarana. Punk stops him and powerbombs him into the corner. Punk goes to the top and hits a leaping bulldog, that’s good for two.

Mysterio grabs the clippers, and even though Punk tries to fight, Mysterio kicks at Punk’s head before using the clippers to shave Punk’s head Punk is bleeding pretty profusely and thankfully there are no trainers in site. Mysterio is taking out big clumps of Punk’s hair, and Punk is just begging him to stop.

As in all hair matches, Mysterio leaves Punk humiliated, with big patches of his hair gone, but other’s still remaining. Mysterio has big handfuls of Punk’s hair, which he holds up. Mysterio looks under the ring, but he doesn’t do anything before walking to the back. Serena runs over with a towel to cover up Punk’s head.

Rey runs back down to the ring with a mirror in his hand and he shows Punk his reflection. Punk looks furious as he kicks away at Mysterio.

Chris Jericho is out next, and he makes his way down to the ringside area to join his partner.

Miz and Kidd will be starting things out tonight. Miz doesn’t allow the lock up as he stomps away at Kidd instead before burying his knee in Kidd’s back. Kidd hits a snap mare and follows it up with a couple of ridiculous stiff kicks before tagging in Smith, and helping him get Miz up for a huge stalling suplex. After about 20 seconds, Smith drops him and he tries for the cover but Miz kicks out. Smith kicks Miz to the outside, and Jericho joins him when Smith back body drops him to the outside. Smith picks Kidd up in a gorilla press and slams him to the outside on top of Jericho and Miz. Back in the ring Kidd locks in a front chancery, but Miz backs him into his own corner and tags in Jericho who comes in and immediately puts Kidd down. Smith comes in as a house of fire and takes it to both Miz and Jericho, launching Jericho with a belly to belly suplex before hitting a great powerslam. Smith gets a near fall, then tries for a running powerslam. Jericho sends Smith into the ropes and gets a beautiful small package, but Smith kicks out at two. Jericho goes into the ropes where he ends up being tripped by Natalya. Smith catches Jericho with a big powerslam, but Jericho kicks out at two. Edge vs. Randy Orton

The ref starts the count. Edge tries to spear Orton, but Orton moves and Edge connects with the barricade. The ref counts ten, and this one is over.

Cena lets go of the hold, and the ref asks if Batista wants to quit, but Batista is apparently out, and can’t answer. Cena goes out and grabs a bottle of water, bringing it back into the ring and dumping it on Batista’s head. the ref asks, but Batista says no. Cena charges Batista, but he eats a big spinebuster. Batista hits a Batista bomb, and the ref asks, but Cena says no.

Batista goes to the outside, where he begins to dismantle the Spanish announce table. He then takes apart the regular announce team’s table. Batista goes back toward the ring, where he grabs Cena’s leg and pulls him to the outside. Batista rolls Cena up onto one of the tables, and he tries for the Batista bomb, but Cena counters, almost hitting the AA. Batista fights out of it, and hits a powerslam, sending Cena through the Spanish announce table, and Cena is somehow busted open. Doctors rush out to patch up Cena, and I’m going to roll my eyes, just like Punk. The ref asks Cena, and he’s slow to say it, but he still says no.

Batista stands over Cena while the trainer works on him. When it’s all over, Batista picks up Cena, and sends him over the barricade and out into the crowd. Batista takes Cena out, and up into the stands, up the stairs. Batista has Cena in a head lock, and he takes him to the top of the stands, where he slams him into a wall. They fight out, and up another set of stairs. Batista grabs the mic and tells Cena to quit, or he’ll go over the railing of the stairs. The ref asks Cena, but Cena still says no. Batista picks Cena up, and he gets Cena in position for the Batista bomb, but Cena fights out of it and pounds on Batista. Cena sends Batista over the railing, where he hangs on, but Cena hits him with a couple of rights, and Batista falls back into a bunch of security guards. The ref asks Batista, and he screams no.

Cena chases Batista back down the stairs and toward the fans in the ringside area. Cena hits Batista with a right and he falls down the last few stairs. Cena hits Batista with a couple of rights, and they fight back to the entrance ramp, where Cena hits Batista with another series of rights. Batista grabs a chair from somewhere, and he hits Cena in the ribs before wailing on his back. Batista goes back to work on the ribs and back of Cena, just whacking him repeatedly with the chair. The referee asks Cena, but Cena says no. Another big chair shot from Batista, and Batista gets into one of the cars on the stage, that conveniently has the keys in it (really?). Batista throws it into reverse, and he tries to back over Cena, running into the stage lights.

Batista gets out of the car, but Cena is up and he pulls Batista out of the car. He slams Batista head first repeatedly into the car, before picking him up, and laying him out with an AA on the hood of the car. The referee asks, but Batista does not quit. Cena says he was really hoping he would say that. Cena grabs Batista, and they go up to the top of the car, where Cena gets Batista in AA position. Batista flails his arms, and quits. Cena still hits the AA off the top of the car, sending Batista through the entrance ramp.

Winner and STILL WWE Champion: John Cena

The Pay Per View ends with Cena standing triumphantly with his title at the top of the entrance ramp. Out of nowhere, Sheamus hits him from behind. Sheamus stands over Cena, and rips off his shirt, and we fade to black.

  • Jim Ross & John Cena Comment On Carlito’s Release

    – WWE champion John Cena commented on Twitter about WWE’s decision to release Carlito this week:

“I am sad to hear the wwe has decided to release Carlito. I always thought he could, and should have accomplished more than he did. I wish him the best.”

    – WWE Hall of Famer also commented on Carlito’s release in his latest blog at JRsBarBQ.com. Ross wrote:

“I was disappointed to hear of Carlito being released from WWE for apparent wellness issues. I don’t know all the details of this situation by any means but it seems apparent WWE felt that Carlito needed some help and Carlito didn’t agree. It’s back to the old adage that if one can’t solve a problem one has no choice but to eliminate it. I’m one that certainly believes that Carlito has the ability to be a main event level performer but no one’s professional life should ever be prioritized over their personal life and I sincerely hope that Carlito adjusts to these recent challenges and takes the necessary steps to put these negative issues behind him.”

  • DiBiase Interview: Virgil, His First Singles PPV Match & More

RAW superstar Ted DiBiase spoke to IGN.com this week to hype Sunday’s WWE Over The Limit pay-per-view. Here are some highlights of what DiBiase said about:

Working With Virgil on RAW: “That was really cool,” DiBiase said. “It was a big surprise and I don’t think anyone expected it. Me walking out there and then just turning around with a smile and there’s Virgil. The guy who used to pick me up from school. The guy I used to monkey around with and jump on. I guess he’s kind of gotten smaller in his older age, but I used to grab onto his arms –he had these huge pipes, you know, these 24-inch arms back in the day and he’d just lift me up off the ground. I’d make him do it all the time. I used to bug the crap out of that guy. And now he’s carrying around the belt, pulling the ropes down, opening doors and carrying my bags. It’s a great feeling.”

Sunday Being His First Singles PPV Match: “It feels really good. I had a good run with Cody Rhodes and I wish him all the best on Smackdown. We had a great tag team and I learned a lot and it was fine while it lasted, but it was time. It’s great to be on my own and forging my own career now. I’m excited.”

Living In His Father’s Shadow: “No, I’m not worried at all. My dad was who he was and I am who I am. This is just me being me. Life gives you lemons and you make lemonade. This is who I am. I’m a DiBiase. I didn’t ask for it, but this is who I’ll be. The biggest differences between me and my dad is, well, A: I think I’m more talented than he was and B; I’m definitely better looking than my dad was. And on top of that, I’m a movie star. He never made a movie so I’ve got one up on him already. So, I’m not worried because I think my actions will speak louder than words and I’ll start this Sunday, at Over the Limit, when I beat R-Truth.”
