Fans can expect to see Matt Hardy’s wife Reby (a/k/a Reby Sky and Reby Hardy) on Impact Wrestling on a regular basis going forward as she has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reports.
As has been reported, there was an incident between Reby and Awesome Kong on Friday prior to an Impact Wrestling taping at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom. To add to the multiple versions of the story going around, Johnson says Kong did indeed get physical with Reby. Various TNA performers at the show told Johnson she was could see marks around her throat and around the back of her neck if she lifted her hair.
Sky alluded to the incident Friday night on Twitter, stating, “No time for high school drama. I REFUSE to play this bullying game. FOH…”
Prior to the Impact Wrestling TV taping at the Manchester Arena, Kia Stevens was involved in an incident involving Rebecca Hardy. Subsequently, Kia was removed from the tour and returned to the United States. The matter is being reviewed to determine if any additional disciplinary action will be taken.
John Gaburick, Executive Vice President of TNA Wrestling, issued a statement Saturday on his Twitter account regarding an incident that took place Friday at the Manchester Arena involving Awesome Kong (Kia Stevens) and Reby Sky (Rebecca Hardy).
The incident was originally reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, who said that Kong took issue with Sky attempting to dress in the women’s locker room and tossed her bag into the hallway. Although Sky is a performer for the company, she had not changed in the women’s locker room before.
Kong’s actions prompted Sky to leave the locker room. When she returned to retrieve her things, Kong went after her for “not apologizing.”
There are two stories on the incident circulating among TNA workers. One story is that Kong attempted to assault Sky, but was quickly restrained from doing so. The second story, which Johnson heard from ‘far’ more people, is that Kong throttled Sky around the neck before being restrained by security guards and producer Pat Kenney.
Johnson added that Sky’s infant son was in the vicinity of the ordeal.
Awesome Kong was sent home Friday from TNA’s tour of the United Kingdom following a backstage altercation with Matt Hardy’s wife Reby Sky at the Manchester Arena, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reports.
Multiple TNA sources tell Johnson that Kong took issue with Sky attempting to dress in the women’s locker room and threw her belongings outside. Although Sky is a performer for the company, she had not changed in the women’s locker room before. At TNA’s recent television events in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Sky dressed elsewhere backstage.
During an uncensored interview with the YouShoot DVD series, Kong referred to Sky as a ‘ho’ for her outspoken nature. When asked on ASKfm (a social networking site where users create profiles and can send each other questions) about Kong knocking her, Sky responded, “Not aware of this, if it is true. Doesn’t make much sense, as I don’t know her on a really personal level & we have been nothing but nice to each other in passing at shows. We’ve actually texted back & forth a few times, so if she now has a problem with me, I can only attribute it to one thing/person. Fake as fuck to be nice to my face & talk shit to a camera if its true, but no shocker there. That’s 99% of the women in this business anyway. Next.”
Sky later implied Kong as a drug addict, stating on ASKfm, “Broke wrestlers doing “shoot” interviews for a couple hundred bucks to support their drug habits can KEEP mentioning me. Everyone knows I’m in an AMAZING committed relationship & love a good name drop :).”
After a fan asked Sky on the site if she was referring to Kong in her statement, she remarked, “And for the record, yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying, and for damn good reason. No use in continuing to play nice or protect anyone who is sweet to my face & a cunt to me & my close friends behind my back.”
According to Johnson, Sky left the locker room after Kong threw her belongings outside. When she returned near the room to retrieve her things, Kong went after her for “not apologizing.” Johnson believes Sky’s past remarks are what led to Kong’s outburst and demand for an apology.

Kong parted ways with TNA in 2010 after assaulting Bubba the Love Sponge backstage at a television event for remarks he made on Twitter that were disparaging of Haiti’s struggle to recover from a recent earthquake (he was appearing as a backstage interviewer for the company at the time through his connection to then-talent Hulk Hogan).
A preview of the show reads: “Former WCW World Champion & WWE Superstar, Lex Luger, talks about “instant fame & success,” life as a “Horseman,” his shocking debut on “Nitro,” Ric Flair’s chops, the spinal injury that nearly left him quadriplegic, and how he managed to kick his drug addiction & get his life back on track.”
– Cameron issued this message on Wednesday about her YouTube channel being deleted. She has plans to open another one and is asking fans to submit ideas about what she should talk about.
Speaking to Mike Jones of Washington D.C. rock station DC101, Roman Reigns talked about this Sunday’s Royal Rumble, what will happen if NXT Superstars show up, being the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Sting being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and more.
Reigns called being WWE World Heavyweight champion a dream, an honor and a great responsibility. Now that he’s reached his goal, he plans to continue pushing himself and reaching heights he never thought were possible.
This Sunday, he’ll put that title on the line against 29 competitors in the Royal Rumble match, the first time in history a reigning champion has had to do so. The odds are unfairly stacked against him, but he’s not going to let anybody else take what’s his. “They’re going to have to knock me out and drag me out of there,” Reigns said. “Brock’s going to have to German me into the stands to get me out.”
With more than half of the Royal Rumble entrants still unannounced, there’s always the possibility that we’ll see NXT competitors get a chance to shine in front of the WWE Universe. Reigns likes that idea. “You got your Finn Balors, your Samoa Joes, your Sami Zayn, those journeymen, the guys who have been at it in this business for such a long time. It’s such a great opportunity for them to sink their teeth in and reap the benefits of all their hard work.” That being said, no matter which NXT stars compete in the Rumble (if any), Reigns plans sending them flying over the top rope to the floor.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns spoke with The Times of India to promote this past week’s live events in New Delhi, where he replaced John Cena as the face of the tour. He was asked how it feels to fill the shoes of the world’s most popular wrestler.
“It’s a great honor. John Cena has been the standard-bearer of professional wrestling for the past 10-12 years, and to follow in his footsteps is a great opportunity. I just want to give my best and represent my family and my people,” said Reigns.
“It’s unfortunate that John couldn’t be here because of the injury and we all hope he will be fit again soon. I for one, can’t wait to square off against him. But then, you have to remember that I’m the reigning World Heavyweight Champion. There is a certain weight to that, a certain standard. Like John used to say, ‘The champ is here and in the end, that’s all that matters!'”
Reigns was also asked if he expects Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to challenge him for the title at WrestleMania 32.
“I expect The Rock would want to keep his pretty face intact for Hollywood. He better stay away from me in the ring,” Reigns said. “But honestly, anybody who wants to get into the ring with me and take the world title, just try!”
Reigns also discussed his rivalry with Big Show, visiting India for the first time, WWE matches being scripted and more. You can check out the interview here.
– Late Sunday night on Twitter, two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and former WWE Superstar Vader appeared to teased himself as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame by tweeting its logo.
– Lilian Garcia will be handling ring announcing duties for tonight’s Raw in San Antonio, Texas after missing last week’s show due to losing her voice.
She tweeted Sunday night, “Thks 4 all well wishes! After nursing my Bronchitis all wk w meds & rest, I’m happy 2 report I will be back tomro 4 the 1st #Raw of 2016!”
Thks 4 all well wishes! After nursing my Bronchitis all wk w meds & rest, I'm happy 2 report I will be back tomro 4 the 1st #Raw of 2016!?
The arrest of Vince McMahon’s character on Raw last week for laying his hands on a detective from the New York City Police Department brought back memories of the time Stephanie McMahon was arrested on WWE’s flagship show.
In spring 2014, Stephanie threatened to fire Brie Bella if her injured husband, Daniel Bryan, did not relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Payback pay-per-view. This led Brie to quit WWE at the event before slapping Stephanie in the face. Stephanie got her revenge by putting Brie’s sister Nikki in several handicap matches in the ensuing weeks. Brie returned to WWE television the following month, appearing in the crowd on the July 21, 2014 episode of Raw to show her support for Nikki. She argued her way into a physical confrontation with Stephanie that saw her slapped and banned from ringside. Later in the show, plain-clothes detectives arrested Stephanie for aggravated battery at the urging of Brie.
While the arrest angles are quite similar, there is one major difference. WWE released a mug shot of Vince (through social media, and it was shown during Raw), but not of Stephanie. Kevin Eck, who was on WWE’s creative team at the time, explains in his latest column why there was no mug shot of her.
While tossing around ideas for the angle in a creative meeting, Eck suggested that a mug shot-style photo be taken of Stephanie and shown on television. Triple H, however, hated the idea.
Eck wrote, “Vince loved it. In fact, I think I may have gotten one of his “that’s good thinking” figurative pats on the back. However, when the creative team ran the angle by Triple H, he didn’t care for any of it, and he especially hated the mug shot idea.”
“His reasoning was that the faux mug shot of his wife would exist forever in cyberspace, and therefore if someone did a Google search on Stephanie and the photo popped up, people might think she had actually been arrested, which could be detrimental to her career as WWE’s Chief Brand Officer.”
Eck noted that Triple H stated his case to Vince, who nixed the proposal.
– Music fans are mourning the loss of Grammy Award-winning singer Natalie Cole, who died Thursday evening at 65-years-old in Los Angeles, California due to complications from ongoing health issues. There is a WWE connection to Cole as she was the only non-wrestling celebrity to appear at WrestleMania IX at Caesars Palace in Paradise, Nevada on April 4, 1993. Cole had a ringside seat and was interviewed by Todd Pettengill during the live pay-per-view broadcast.
– NXT prospect Dylan Miley tweeted this video of himself showing off his impressive strength.
Miley, who according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter editor Dave Meltzer is 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds, began training at the WWE Performance Center in the summer of 2014. He only has one wrestling match under his belt, which took place at WrestleMania Axxess last March. Meltzer said at the time that some people in WWE were really high on him due to his unique look and verbal skills, but considered a long-term project.
– Greg Oliver of SLAM! Wrestling has an article recapping Wednesday’s WWE live event at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto. In the main event, John Cena beat Alberto Del Rio by disqualification.
For Christmas, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave former WWE Superstar Haku (real name Tonga Fifita) a new truck.
While Tonga Fifita is known to wrestling fans as either Haku or Meng, to Johnson, he is Uncle Tonga. Johnson’s grandfather, WWE Hall of Famer High Chief Peter Maivia, helped train Fifita to become a professional wrestler in the 1970s.
Johnson shared a story on Instagram of borrowing a pair of purple trunks from Haku for his tryout match with WWE, which was also his first-ever wrestling match (he faced The Brooklyn Brawler in a dark match on March 10, 1996 at a Superstars taping in Corpus Christi, Texas).
Merry Christmas Uncle Tonga – enjoy your new truck! Cool Christmas story to share with y’all… Known my “Uncle Tonga” since I was 5yrs old. My grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia helped train him to become a professional wrestler in the 70’s. Throughout Tonga’s illustrious wrestling career he changed his name to “King Haku” and became one the WWE’s most sought after “bad guys” and still known to this day for being one of the toughest and legit most vicious man in wrestling history.
Years later and I get a call from WWE saying “Vince McMahon wants to see you wrestle immediately. He’s flying you to RAW tomorrow and you’ll have a tryout match.” I thought holy shit that’s awesome, buuuut there’s a few problems: For me, I wasn’t just having “a tryout match”, because I had never actually HAD a real match in my life. Ever. WWE thought that I already had multiple matches under my belt, but little did they know. What they also didn’t know was that I was broke as hell and didn’t actually own wrestling gear – no boots, knee pads or most importantly.. wrestling trunks. I went to Sports Authority and bought some bright ass white volleyball knee pads, called my Uncle and asked if he had ANY trunks I could use for my tryout. He said all I have is a pair of shiny purple trunks (purple was his signature color), I told him I don’t care if the trunks are all the colors of Skittles, I’ll happily wear them. When I picked the trunks up from him I’ll never forget the monster hug he gave me, look me in the eyes and said, “I’m so proud of you. Go get ’em nephew!” Here’s the picture of me wrestling my FIRST MATCH EVER in Corpus Christi, TX in front of 15,000 people – proudly in my lucky purple trunks. And the rest… was history.
My Uncle Tonga is a family man, humble man and champion. Most importantly one of the greatest human beings I know. So we walk outside and I said “Uncle how do you like my truck?” He said, “Whoooaaa nephew it’s beautiful… I love it!” I said “Good ’cause it’s yours.” He was speechless. Thru tears (manly of course;) we monster hugged ’cause I’ll never forget what he did for me when I had nothing. Merry Christmas Uncle and ofa atu. #LuckyPurpleTrunks
Two weeks after being Superman Punched by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, Vince McMahon will make his return to Raw this Monday.
WWE.com announced in its Five-Point Preview for Raw that The Chairman will be on the show.
Breaking News: Mr. McMahon will return to Raw this Monday, WWE.com has learned.
After being Superman Punched by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns two weeks ago, it’s safe to assume that The Chairman will have a lot on his mind.
Former WWE Women’s Champion Chyna was scheduled to appear at Maryland Championship Wrestling’s Season’s Beatings event in Joppatowne, Maryland tonight, but canceled at the last minute with her agent claiming flu-like symptoms.
Unfortunately we regret to inform you that Chyna will not be appearing at tonight’s Seasons Beatings event in Joppa, MD at the MCW Arena.
We were never informed that there were any issues and for the last couple of weeks Chyna has been tweeting on twitter and Posting on Facebook promoting the appearance and telling her fans how excited she was to be coming in to meet them.
Doing our due diligence as we always do to follow up when we have performers coming in to a show last night we checked her itinerary leading up to when she was supposed to board her flight in LA. The airline noted that the itinerary was cancelled by the passengers (one for her and one for her agent Anthony from Good Guy Entertainment).
Obviously we immediately started reaching out to her agent because no one informed us of the itinerary cancellation. We then received this text from Anthony:
“I know it’s late there. I was going to wait a bit longer before I reached out. I’m just arriving at the hospital with Chyna. It might be appendicitis. We got to the airport and she bellied over in pain. I had no choice. Once I know more I’ll let you know”
We were curious as to how he knew that “It might be appendicitis” because he is not a doctor and he never gave us clarity on that but obviously we were concerned for her health first we asked Anthony to keep us in the loop and let us know what was going on. While concerned for her health we also still had to think about our show and our fans. We pulled up other flights that would be able to still get her here and started looking at back up options.
We received no other responses to texts at all for just about 11 hours. We sent several texts to Anthony to check on her status and her condition because we saw that she was retweeting people on Twitter so we were to assume that would not be a priority of someone that was doubled over in pain in an emergency room at a hospital. Anthony did not respond to any of our texts throughout the night and into the morning.
Finally 11 hours later at about 10:30 this morning EST, time we received the following text from Anthony:
“Cannot tell you how sorry we are. But Chyna can’t make it. I know this is horrible news. Just got her home. She has a virus that they still can’t determine. Tests on Monday with her doctor but she is sick, like it’s a bad flu. Vomit, sharp abdominal pain. If you send me the 100 pieces, I’ll have her sign for free to make up for air fare you lost. She will tweet her disappointment that she couldn’t be there. I will try to grab a video message from her later today expressing her disappointment to show the fans. So sorry, our first cancellation”
That being said our focus had to immediately shift to doing whatever we could not to disappoint the fans that are coming out to the final show of 2015, Seasons Beatings tonight at the MCW Arena in Joppa, MD.
Former WWE Star Billy Gunn literally dropped everything at 11:30 this morning, cancelled plans tonight with his family, got on the phone with us and found an airline ticket that can get him from Orlando Florida to BWI in time for the show tonight, got off the phone with us, grabbed his things and headed to the airport and is now enroute to Baltimore. What a class act and we appreciate him doing this for our fans.
Also cancelling family plans for this evening and dropping everything they are doing is Former WWE Diva and MCW Women’s Champion Mickie James and her fiancé Former TNA World Champion Magnus who are also on their way to Seasons Beatings to take part in the pre-show meet and greet.
Chyna is celebrating her birthday on Sunday as she turns 45-years-old.
Titus O’Neil’s angle with Stardust in recent weeks has left fans wondering whether The Prime Time Players are still a unit.
Last Monday on Raw, O’Neil once again interrupted Stardust’s ‘celestial, cinematic’ rant in the Star Room to urge “The Prince of Dark Matter” to get in touch with reality. Meanwhile, O’Neil’s longtime tag team partner, Darren Young, was in singles action against Bo Dallas in a match taped that night for the latest episode of WWE Superstars. During the contest, announcers Rich Brennan and Byron Saxton addressed the state of The Prime Time Players.
“I talked to Darren Young earlier today and asked him about the state of The Prime Time Players and he said, ‘You know, we’re still boys,'” Brennan said. “Titus’ O’Neil and Darren Young still have each other’s backs, but obviously are just trying to be the best, whether it’s individually or together.”
Saxton added, “For the better part of five years, Titus O’Neil and Darren Young have been best friends, they’ve been tag team partners. They understand each other and they understand the desires to succeed on an individual basis and they support each other.”
While O’Neil and Young appear to be heading in different directions, they have not officially broken up. On WWE Superstars, Young was introduced by ring announcer Lilian Garcia as one-half of The Prime Time Players. He also came out wearing a Prime Time Players T-Shirt to the team’s theme song.
– At Saturday’s WWE live event in Augusta, Georgia, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus promised to have ring announcer Eden fired at Monday’s Raw for not introducing him properly for his match against Roman Reigns.

While wrestling in Bayamón, Puerto Rico last night for World Wrestling Council, Alberto Del Rio was assaulted by a fan at ringside.
Del Rio was wrestling in Puerto Rico to fulfill a commitment he made prior to returning to WWE. During a match against Ray Gonzalez at WWC’s Lockout event at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum, a fan pummeled the WWE United States Champion in the back while he was outside of the ring.
The fan was thrown out and the contest immediately continued. It ended in disqualification when Gonzalez’ Figure-Four Leglock on Del Rio was broken up by El Hijo de Dos Caras (Del Rio’s younger brother and former WWE developmental wrestler Memo Montenegro).
Layla El married fellow former WWE performer Richard Young (Ricky Ortiz) at Christ Temple in Glendale, Arizona this past week.
Photos of the former WWE Diva in her wedding dress popped up on Instagram over the weekend from friends who attended the ceremony.
El announced her engagement to Young in July in a Periscope video and retired from professional wrestling shortly thereafter, prompting her departure from WWE after nine years.
Young is best known for his time with WWE performing under the ring name Ricky Ortiz. He wrestled for the company and its developmental promotions from 2006 through August 2009, when he was released from his contract. Prior to becoming a professional wrestler, Young spent time in the XFL, the Canadian Football League, the Arena Football League and the National Football League.
El and Young have been in a relationship since 2014. They briefly worked together on the SmackDown brand in 2009, which included an in-ring skit and El appearing on Young’s short-lived WWE.com show.
Former WCW and TNA announcer Scott Hudson didn’t hold back in a two-hour conversation with IYH Wrestling Radio, unloading on WWE announcers Michael Cole and John “Bradshaw” Layfield, the failed Invasion angle, and WWE using Reid Flair’s death in an angle with Charlotte and Paige.
Excerpts from the interview, provided by host Vic Vic Schiavone, are as follows:
On the current state of wrestling commentary:
“Well first, Michael Cole sucks. That guy couldn’t call a one-horse race. Unfortunately, the best announcer they have on RAW is Byron Saxton, and they don’t let him show his stuff. JBL…he’s terrible, he’s horrible…They don’t know what to do, but then again I’ll give Cole at least a little bit of credit in that he’s doing what he’s told. If he wasn’t doing what he was told, he would be working for Joey Styles at the dot com office. And that’s sad, is that they’ve got the best announcer in the last twenty years on staff not announcing. The guy for New Japan, Mauro Ranallo, he’s the best announcer in wrestling and it’s not even close. He’s fantastic. The guys on Ring of Honor, Kevin Kelly and the rest of that bunch, they’re good, too. But the announcing on basically every WWE product across platforms is atrocious.
I’ve gotta say this, I’m a huge mark for The King (Jerry Lawler); he could read things out of the phone book and I would listen. So I love The King, take him out of that equation, otherwise the announcers there are worthless. But, to their everlasting credit, they’re doing what they’re told. And Vince (McMahon) is happy as a clam, watching ratings…and viewership and everything else and gimmick sales go right in the tank.”
On WWE’s Invasion angle:
“Keep this in mind…when they bought us out, should there ever have been a bigger angle than the Invasion Angle? Because you had ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) thrown in there, too…That angle, start to finish, should still be going today, fourteen years later. And the problem is one person’s fault, and that’s Vince McMahon. He would not in his dying breath put over a WCW talent or an ECW talent. Now…some guys got over in spite of Vince trying to bury them, but Vince’s whole idea was to bury both companies. It wasn’t to make money by saying “Oh my God, this is WCW vs. WWE vs. ECW”, it was “This is WWE, stop. WCW and ECW guys are job guys.” That’s all he wanted, that’s all he saw, and he did not care that he was sitting on a 20-million dollar profit. He was comfortable with a 2-million dollar profit because he got to bury WCW and ECW.”
On the current state of wrestling:
“Actually I like all the guys in The Shield, the Wyatt Family guys are entertaining to watch, but the guys out there now, to bring this whole show full circle, it’s all promos. When we had WCW, we had the Power Plant and we brought in the bunch called The Natural Born Thrillers ((Chuck) Palumbo, (Mark) Jindrak, (Shawn) Stasiak, Reno, Mike Sanders). All those guys, with the exception of Sanders, they were all horrible promos. I mean, terrible. But they were great athletes…I mean you go back and watch that stuff they were incredible workers, but they couldn’t cut a promo if you had a gun to their head…And it’s like The Natural Born Thrillers are now the entire roster of the WWE top to bottom: great looking guys, average to fantastic workers, no promo ability; none. I think I mentioned on some discussion the other night that I had online that listening to Roman Reigns cut a promo has all the fire of a Dr. Ben Carson haiku reading. And that’s probably being kind to both of them.”
On WWE using Reid Flair’s death as part of an angle:
“Well, there’s been so much made of that from Monday night with Charlotte and Paige, but…has the death of Ric Flair’s son ever been used in an angle before? No. But has something as disgusting because it’s real been used in a promotional angle before? Sure…Katie Vick…Hunter accused Kane of murdering and I guess burying a high-school cheerleader…That obviously wasn’t real, but that’s disgusting. And there have been other disgusting things like Blackjack Mulligan’s heart attack…there was a David and Mike Von Erich memorial parade of champions…they named the show after the two dead guys, much less invoking the name of Reid Flair Mondaynight on RAW. The fact that it’s raising so many eyebrows means that wrestling might have actually not had to resort to that level of angle to get stuff over for so long that this seems so disgusting when in the whole course of history it has been lapped several times in the disgusting category.”
– Former WWE Superstar and ECW World Heavyweight Champion Justin Credible, 42, wrestled his retirement match at Friday night’s Pro Wrestling Syndicate event in Sayreville, New Jersey at Starland Ballroom. Credible faced Tommy Dreamer in a hardcore match to end his 23-year wrestling career.
Credible held the ECW World Heavyweight Championship for 162 days in 2000 and was a two-time ECW World Tag Team Champion with Lance Storm as the Impact Players. During his time with WWE in the early 2000s, he was an eight-time Hardcore Champion. He is also known for his mid-1990s stint with the company under the name Aldo Montoya.

– James Storm wrestles tonight for Renegade Championship Wrestling in Chatsworth, Georgia, which the independent promotion is advertising on Facebook as his “final trip to RCW before becoming full-time with the WWE.” The promotion is also billing Storm as a ‘current WWE superstar.’
Despite debuting in NXT in October, WWE has not indicated whether Storm is a full-time performer.
– It was announced on Wednesday that John Cena will host American Grit, a 10-episode military-themed reality competition show slated to air on Fox. The show splits “16 of the country’s toughest men and women into four teams as they work together to face a variety of military-grade and survival-themed challenges.”
During a heated Divas Championship Contract Signing on Raw, Paige made a controversial comment about Charlotte’s family that sparked a wild brawl between the one-time allies.
Charlotte got emotional referencing her late brother (Reid Flair, who died on on March 29, 2013 from an accidental overdose of heroin and prescription drugs), saying Paige was there for her when he died. The Divas Champion said she is here today because of him — to fulfill his dream. Later in the segment, Paige decided to insult his memory in an attempt to rile her foe into a brawl by saying he didn’t have “much fight in him.” Charlotte then lunged across the table at her Paige, instigating a giant brawl that was eventually stopped by a group of referees.
Reid and Charlotte’s mother, Elizabeth Fleihr, who is also an ex-wife of Ric Flair, was not happy with the angle.
She wrote on twitter, “@WWE @StephMcMahon @VinceMcMahon @TripleH WWEWriters really, that lazy! #CheapHeat #disgusting #disrespectful #cruel #sad #RawGreenville.”
– During a pre-recorded interview with the Gorilla Position podcast that was released on Wednesday, Paige was asked about Nikki Bella’s injury status and said she would probably be out of action for six more weeks depending on how she recovers. The interview was taped just before WWE kicked off its tour of Europe on Nov. 4, so Nikki could return sometime in December.
– Three episodes of SmackDown featuring The Undertaker have been added to the WWE Network vault; November 23, 2007, November 21, 2008 and September 18, 2009.
– Hulk Hogan said he’s “not done yet” at his Evening with Hulk Hogan event in Sheffield, England on Saturday night.
“You guys are loyal. You known I’ve made a huge mistake or said something really dumb. That’s because I was mad or at a low point in my life, but that’s not who I am,” Hogan told a reported crowd of 1,000 about being blacklisted from WWE over the summer, which coincided with media scrutiny of scandalous remarks he made in 2007. “I’m not done yet. I need to learn another lesson. All this stuff happens to make me a better person. That’s how I look at it.”
Hogan also said he still admires WWE chief Vince McMahon.
“There are two Vince McMahons. On a personal level I love him to death, as a business man I respect him. He’s a good guy. He really is,” said Hogan.
– Randy Orton isn’t the only wrestler to get married in Las Vegas, Nevada last week. Nick Dinsmore, who was known as Eugene in WWE, married his longtime girlfriend on Wednesday.
Del Rio responded to their “haters” and tweeted this photo of two young men.
His tweet touched a nerve with some fans, with some calling for his job. The post has since been deleted.
– Rapper Mac Miller paid tribute to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at his concert Friday night in Santa Cruz, California.
After he was done performing, the WWE Hall of Famer’s theme song played with Miller drinking beer and giving a Stone Cold Stunner to his hype man. He then said, “And that’s the bottom line, ’cause Stone Cold said so!”
Responding to news of the attacks, Sunny wrote on Facebook last night:
What I think the world needs is another Holocaust, but this time for the Islams of the world….. The ones who REALLY should be extinguished. HAIL TRUMP!!”
She apologized fthis afternoon, writing on Facebook:
