Dolph Ziggler On Whether WWE Stars Watch TNA, If He Was Physically Bigger, Being Compared To Mr. Perfect

Emmy winning entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet from WOIO recently spoke with Dolph Ziggler in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. He talks about breaking away from Vickie Guerrero, how he would have been pushed sooner if he was bigger and his thoughts on John Cena and CM Punk.

He talked about how if he was bigger he would have been pushed earlier, saying if he was 4 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier he would be “a multiple time world champion”. However he admits that he’s he glad he has had to work for all of his success because he feels it has made him better.

He also discussed CM Punk’s claim to being the best the world saying “He has to put it on a shirt. It’s almost like ‘Guys, I’m the best in the world, right? Just ask me!’ It comes off like he’s begging for it and if you keep saying it I guess you think it’s true.”

On being great at selling moves, “I do everything, especially when I’m getting beat up, If I’m going to run into something, I’m running into it full force and it hurts. But instead of hearing ‘oh, is that guy ok?’ you hear ‘OOOOH!!’. My body’s on the line because I love this and I do it for a living”

On the topic of John Cena, Ziggler says, “The eight-year old kids, they still think that John Cena’s really good at stuff, other than being strong. And they buy the t-shirts and that’s great. Everybody else goes ‘well, I graduated high school. I get that [Ziggler’s] better than everybody else’”

On being compared to Shawn Michaels and Mr. Perfect: “Mr. Perfect, I was a big fan of his because we kind of had similar deals like wow, we’re almost too good at this that it looks easy sometimes. Huge fan of his, huge fan of Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair. Those guys who always wanted the spotlight even if they weren’t supposed to be in it. They were the guys, if they weren’t the main event, they showed up the main event to let everyone know that next time you put me in there”

On whether he or any of the [WWE] guys in the back follow what’s going on in TNA: “Me, personally as a wrestling fan, it’s something I’ve said before where I study movies, I study comedians, why they are getting these reactions; I watch all wrestling. And lots of us, because of the ever-changing roster for both sides, we’re friends with half of those guys anyway because we were wrestling with them a few months ago. So that community, we all kind of follow each other. A lot of us watch it just because we love wrestling. We’ll watch TNA. We’ll watch Ring of Honor. I watch everything just to see what’s going on and know where I need to be.

“Even a good friend of mine, Mike Mondo, who was with me in the Spirit Squad, he’s in Ring of Honor tearing it up. Everyone’s always saying how great he’s doing.”

In a follow-up question, Ziggler is then asked, “There seems to be some storylines between TNA and WWE that are kind of overlapping right now. Isn’t that weird? He responds, “I’m a little behind on [TNA] storylines, but yes. I heard that from several different people. So, maybe…”

Other topics covered were: getting more mic time, breaking away from Vickie Guerrero and his Twitter feud with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

WWE Employees Assigned To Watch TNA and Ring of Honor, WWE Promotes CM Punk’s “Talking Dead” Appearance

– To correct a report from last week on WWE opening Raw broadcasts with a man narrating video packages after Vince McMahon was shown a tape of TNA Wrestling’s Impact Wrestling show, he was actually informed of the concept by an employee and upon being intrigued, immediately concluded that his company could do it better. It was noted that if he had actually watched an Impact Wrestling opening, he probably would have been embarrassed with WWE blatantly copying an idea from TNA.

Multiple members of WWE’s creative staff—more their assistants—are assigned to watch tapes of TNA, Ring of Honor and WWE’s NXT, and file a report on its contents. There are other employees who work in the same capacity as consultants for the company.

Though some creative writers joined WWE with no knowledge of professional wrestling whatsoever, there are some who were prior fans.

– The official WWE website is now promoting CM Punk’s scheduled appearance on Talking Dead this Sunday night at at 11 p.m. on AMC, a live talk show that discusses episodes of the popular The Walking Dead drama series.

Yesterday on Twitter, Punk vented on WWE not promoting his talk show appearance nor his return home to Chicago tomorrow as Official Grand Marshal of the McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade. He wrote, “Yes, I will be on @AMCTalkingDead on Sunday. Shocking how WWE didn’t promote it or get AMC the proper materials in time to announce it. I will also be the Grand Marshall in the Chicago turkey day parade. Also not announced or promoted by “my” company. Shocking. This is what happens when you go over everyone’s head to hustle and acquire your own outside appearances. #disrespect.”

Update On WrestleMania 29 and Royal Rumble Scenarios – Discussed Idea For CM Punk vs. The Rock

With CM Punk retaining the WWE Championship against Ryback and John Cena at Survivor Series on Sunday, thereby likely solidifying an expected match with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at Royal Rumble, the sports-entertainment organization’s creative team has discussed a scenario where The Straight Edge Superstar would defeat The Great One at the annual January pay-per-view event. This would subsequently lead to Punk defending the title against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIX, and Johnson facing Cena in a non-title re-match at the same event.

Original creative plans called for Johnson to defeat Punk at the Rumble, leading to a match against Cena for the title—which could still occur. Creative has given thought to how Johnson winning the WWE Championship would impact the product since there would be no titles defenses at houses shows for over two months, and also add a new issue of whether he would defend the title at the February pay-per-view event, Elimination Chamber. Not awarding Johnson would rectify this problem.

Though the importance of the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship has diminished in recent years, one of the primary reasons that creative has yet to unify the belts is because they feel a title match should close out all house shows.

Update On The Rumored Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara Feud

There are still plans for a Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara match at WrestleMania 29.

The high-flying duo has been together since September, but have not fully gotten themselves over as a threat to the tag titles yet. The plan is for them to win the tag titles and have a solid run as champions before breaking up and meeting in the ring next April.

WWE has been satisfied with Sin Cara getting over by working with Mysterio.

The match was originally discussed for WrestleMania 28 this past April, but was called off due to injuries. No word on whether WWE plans to give out Mysterio and Sin Cara masks to the audience in hopes of setting the Guinness World Record for “most masks worn in a public gathering” as was previously discussed.

Eve Torres Describes Her WWE Character (Video), Rosa Mendes Issues A Survey, The Gobbledy Gooker

– Last week on Raw, Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez handed Rosa Mendes a note. Apparently in response to this, the WWE Diva issued a Tout message asking fans whether she should “go the old fashioned way and wait for him to come to [her]” or take matters into her own hands.

– The Gobbledy Gooker is featured in today’s “Superstar Spotlight” on WWE.com.

– WWE Divas Champion Eve is featured in a profile piece by American Latino, who discusses empowering women in and out of the squared circle.

The video, which largely focuses on Eve’s self-defense program for woman, includes a sound bite on her villainous WWE character. She states, “Eve Torres in the WWE is a woman who gets what she wants. She is a powerful woman. Some may be against her tactics, but others can’t really argue with her because at the end of the day, she is currently [WWE Divas] Champion.”

– Former WWE Diva Maryse Ouellet has been announced to appear at the Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con taking place Nov. 30-Dec. 2 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center 900 Convention Center Blvd. New Orleans, Louisiana.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts Discusses His Personal Problems, Says He Has Considered Committing Suicide

This past Tuesday night, WWE Legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts appeared was interviewed by Simon Cassidy and David Thomson on the Big WrestleShark Show on 98.4 Pulse FM. In an exclusive half hour interview, Jake spoke openly and frankly about his past, his personal problems, how he became involved with Diamond Dallas Page and his plans for the future. For more the full interview and more information, head over and like www.Facebook.com/BigWrestleSharkShow. Highlights from the interview are as follows:

On his personal problems and past injuries: “You’re gets broken down..I had two discs removed from my neck, hip replacement, part of my left foot removed, compound fracture in my right arm, wrist reconstruction, broken sternum splice. Other than that, I was in horrible shape…I had a well-publicised, by my own admissions, a career with alcohol and drugs did not help my situation. I had become so depressed that, not that I would have ever done it…I may have tried a couple of times…but suicide was something I thought about a lot. So depressed that I had blown my career…I could have been so much more than I was. Gone through three marriages, fathered eight children but wasn’t a dad to any of them, I was too busy wrestling or being high. You start looking at yourself at that point and you hate yourself…I had a lot of shame, a lot of anger, a lot of freakin’ anger, basically I had given up. I didn’t want to live. I had no hope. I had no dreams. I hope nobody out there gets to that point, but when you quit dreaming, when you quit having hope, it’s a pretty god dam horrible place to be. You don’t care if you breath. You don’t care about anything.

On his recent “Resurrection” through DDPYoga: “Dallas called me, asked how I was doing, I bullsh*ted and I lied, said I was getting through it, and he said ‘man…you don’t sound right?’ Well man, it is what it is, I just don’t give a sh*t anymore. I buried my father, my mother was in poor health, a whole bunch of reasons to use and I sure took advantage of them. I’d drink…because that was the only time I could forget where I was at. He said he wanted come see me and to send me some yoga stuff and I was like ‘are you f*cking kidding me? Right, Jake ‘The Snake’ is doing yoga! I may have been screwed up enough to play a snake, but I ain’t doing yoga dude.’

“He said, if you’ll try…and you start losing weight…there might be something I can do for you, and it would be long term and would be an opportunity…to try something different since the bullsh*t I was doing obviously wasn’t working…so I did the food thing for like ten 11 days, didn’t really think a whole lot about it, then one day I got on the scale and was like ‘holy sh*t I’ve lost 14lbs, what the hell’s wrong with me? I must be dying!’ That was the first time I thought this might actually work…a couple weeks later he came down…and was like, ok ‘keep doing the good work, when you get down to 30lbs, we’ll move you down to Atlanta, and we’ll get serious on this sh*t’…at that point I was still drinking too much, but we’ll get to that in a minute.”

On his recent inebriated appearance at an Indie Event: “When I got down to Atlanta, DDP was like ‘OK, the first thing we need to talk about is your drinking…why do you drink?’ and I was just like ‘Well, I like it’…so I’m like OK,OK,OK I’ll play your silly f*cking game and I said well how about a couple of beers? So he agreed, we’ll try sticking to two beers. Well that lasted about a week…

“I went out on an autograph thing on Rhode Island. Did really well, didn’t drink for a two or three days during the signing, and I spoke to a lot of people and they were just patting me on the back, saying how much better I looked with all the weight I had lost, saying ‘damn Jake you haven’t looked this good in years, keep up the good work’…well, you shouldn’t tell a drunk or an addict these things. Like everything else in life, I use whatever situation I am in to get drunk or get high. In this instance it was ‘man you deserve a reward’. Man, I’m not a god damn dog that did a trick, but that’s the way I treated myself. The next thing I know, I’m getting off a plane in Atlanta…and Dallas is there, I don’t know why Dallas is there. We get back to the house and I find out I had been pretty stupid and ridiculous, and basically had gone through a four hour blackout. Blacked out. Didn’t know what I had done, what I had said, who I had offended…thank god I wasn’t in jail. I think if Dallas hadn’t been at the airport I would have ended up in there.

“Next morning, we get up and Dallas is saying ‘last week you did really well, then you go out this week and totally screw up…so here’s the new deal. Absolutely no alcohol. And at that point I’m like, you are absolutely right…because the sh*t isn’t doing you any good. Then he was like ‘you should go back to A.A…so two days later I went back…but then I went to Dallas and was like ‘I agree with the no drinking thing, but you’re gonna have to help me’…so we went to a doctor and got set up with something called anti-buse. Brother, if you drink alcohol with that stuff it will drop you like a gunshot. It will make you so violently ill, that you will not think about drinking. But it’s a crutch for me. It’s a safety line, and being here with Dallas, he’s making me change my way of thinking about things.”

On his ambitions for the future: “I’ve got a life man…I’m dreaming again…it might take more than 24 hours to fix this sh*t, so I just need to shut up, get in the car and go for the ride with [Dallas]…I have unlimited dreams. I’m thinking about building furniture again, because I loved to build furniture. For the first time I got on a computer…here I am 57 years old and I don’t even know how to turn a computer on. But now I want to do it, I want to accomplish these goals. Before I never wanted to do it…my mind is clicking again man.

“I’m happy, I feel good about myself. Yeah I’ve got a long way, but brother, I’ve already been a long way…I’ve already been a long way man. I never thought I would be in the shape I’m in now, much less where I’m going. I’m calling my children, I’m developing relationships, I’m calling my mother again…

“I’m gonna do this. I want to do this, I need to do this, because I know I’m a good human being, I’ve always been a good human being, I’ve just been a disturbed human being. I’m not letting the demons beat my ass anymore. Those demons have not got a chance.

“There is nobody that could hang with me in the ring in my heyday, can you imagine if I hadn’t been screwed up? I would have left them so far behind, but that’s OK man. You know, I retired from the ring two years ago. But you know what, I’m going to go back in…for a short run. Just a few matches. That way, I can say goodbye the way I wanted to. Not 310lbs, couldn’t hardly get in the ring and look like Sh*t. I deserve more than that! I wanna get in there and stand with my head held high and say ‘I am the f*cking man’ and I’m a good man. That’s how I want to say goodbye to my fans.”

Paul “Triple H” Levesque Explains Why He Cut Off His Trademark Ponytail In September

Promoting WrestleMania XXIX at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events, appeared on WHEB-FM’s “The Morning Buzz.” During the radio interview, he explained that he cut off his trademark ponytail in September because wearing it on a daily basis in the corporate environment had become an increasing nuisance.

“To be honest, the hair actually didn’t have that much to do with the corporate position as much as it did with… For years when I was wrestling and I wore my hair down all the time—I’d go through airports whenever I let my hair down, it didn’t matter—and just in that [corporate] environment I was wearing my hair up all the time. It just got to be such a pain that for the last year and a half I’ve been dying to cut it off. It just started to become the bane of my existence, my hair every day, and I never wore it down; I just couldn’t wait for the time when I could finally get rid of it,” Levesque explains.

“And it’s the weirdest thing. To me, it wasn’t that big of a deal and I didn’t really put that much thought into it, but then I literally did it in the morning, drove to the office, there was a couple of people outside, I took a few pictures as I was walking in, and I went inside. I got upstairs, it wasn’t even ten minutes later, and someone came up, “Dude, you’re all over TMZ that you cut your hair.”

Released NXT Wrestler Complains About WWE, Manu Weighs In On Roman Reigns, “Tooth Fairy” Airing On Television

– Chad Baxter, a former collegiate wrestling champion WWE released last week from developmental, complained about the organization’s stagnant product on Twitter days later, writing, “Im sick of seeing the same matches on @WWE #Boring #Overplayed.”

When asked why WWE would release him, as well as fellow developmental wrestlers Chase Donovan and Nick Rogers, he wrote, “Its a mystery! Unfortunately I don’t know the answer why this happened.” He then re-tweeted a message stating, “WWE was stupid releasing you.”

Baxter added that he has plans to continue wrestling.

– The debut of Roman Reigns at Survivor Series has drawn comparisons to that of another Samoan wrestler who made a surprise debut at a WWE pay-per-view event: Manu. The two grapplers are close cousins, with Reigns being the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika and Manu being the son of Afa—Sika and Afa were enshrined together in 2007. Manu, who continues to compete on the independent circuit as Afa Jr., weighed in on Reigns’ WWE debut via Twitter Monday, writing, “My Partner in crime growing up. My cousin Roman Reigns debuted last night. #Proud #ImTheOnlyOneMissingNow #SeeYaSoon #TryNstopMe.”

Doctors Not Allowing Lilian Garcia To Fly To WWE Shows, Photo Of Stacy Keibler At The Dead Sea In Israel

SmackDown ring announcer Lilian Garcia participated in WWE.com’s Live Chat for Survivor Series Sunday night and said she has not returned to shows after being struck by a car Oct. 27 in Los Angeles, California, because doctors are prohibiting her from flying at this time. She does not know when she will return to events as she is still rehabbing her neck and back.

Garcia also said she was flattered by WWE Champion CM Punk remarking at THQ’s WWE ’13 roster reveal at SummerSlam Axxess in August that he would induct her into the WWE Hall of Fame next year—leading Jim Ross to immediately snark that the induction could take place “at the Marriott.”

“I will never forget CM Punk recently saying that he feels I will eventually be a Hall of Famer. That was a very big compliment! Hope it comes true!!” she said.

– Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler vacationed in Israel last week and tweeted the following photo of herself at the Dead Sea.

TNA Knockout Responds To Eve Torres Imitating Her, Zema Ion Speaks On Being An “X Division Guy”

– As seen Sunday night at Survivor Series, Eve Torres added a new layer to her heel character by disingenuously waving to the audience during her ring entrance for her WWE Divas Championship defense against Kaitlyn. TNA Knockout Madison Rayne, who is known to perform that entrance style as part of her conceited beauty queen gimmick, was immediately besieged with messages on Twitter notifying her of the WWE Diva’s imitation and responded, “Hahaha, I love you guys!!! Imitation flatters me, it doesn’t upset me. I’m pretty sure NONE of the KO’s can be duplicated!”

– Zema Ion appeared on Extreme Pro Wrestling Radio on 100.3 FM KFAN in Minneapolis and was asked to give his thoughts on the X Division Championship being used as a pass to a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at TNA Wrestling’s annual Destination X pay-per-view event.

“(Austin) Aries is blazing the trails for X Division wrestlers such as myself and he’s showing we don’t have to be confined to our own division,” said Ion. “We are talented enough to take on the heavyweight wrestlers and go after the heavyweight titles. What he did at Destination X and the stipulation that every year the X Division Champion can cash in an opportunity for the world title at that pay-per-view, it’s a great thing. It gives us a chance to stand on that stage, pay-per-view, main event, World Title.”

Ion was also asked whether being labeled an “X-Division guy” bothers him. He states, “It doesn’t really bother me. I will say there have been several times that I was thinking it would be great to get in the ring with guys like RVD or AJ Styles and test myself see how I can fair against those type of wrestlers. Its frustrating in some ways because I wanted those type of opportunities too and now it seems like things are changing and I may get those opportunities now.”

Audio of his appearance is available here.

– Rain, who appeared in TNA Wrestling as Bobby Roode’s valet Ms. Payton Banks, broke her wrist in three different places at Friday’s “SHINE 5” internet pay-per-view after being subject to a powerbomb from Awesome Kong. Despite the injury, she continued the bout as planned, which concluded with her receiving an Implant Buster from Kong. She was admitted to a emergency room following the contest.

Rain tweeted an image of her wrist Sunday morning.

Fifth Wrestler Removed From WWE Developmental Roster, Pepper Parks Competes In WWE Match

– A fifth WWE developmental wrestler has been removed from the roster page of the official NXT website; Lincoln Broderick. This would indicate that he has been released.

Broderick, whose real name is Marcus Anthony, is a heavily muscled wrestler the company signed out of Ohio Valley Wrestling in February. Despite possessing a great look, Broderick had limited experience and sparingly competed as a result. In his only match on the NXT television show, which was taped in September, he was squashed by Bronson in under two minutes.

The other profiles removed were that of Chad Baxter, Chase Donovan, Louis Fontaine and Nick Rogers. F4WOnline.com confirmed that Baxter, Donovan and Rogers were let go from their respective developmental contracts, while Fontaine claimed Wednesday in a Facebook post that he asked to be released.

– Fandango’s dark match opponent at Tuesday’s SmackDown taping in Cleveland, Ohio, was journeyman wrestler Pepper Parks.

The 13-year independent wrestling circuit veteran was profiled the week before by SLAM! Wrestling (article available here). Despite being over 30-years-old and apparently not meeting WWE’s size standard, he continues to vie for a WWE contract.

“A while back, WWE was going through this thing, where they were saying that they didn’t want to hire ‘rookies.’ But a lot of things have changed with Triple H taking over and everything,” Parks said. “I know guys personally who have gotten signed and are close to 30. I don’t listen to any of that stuff, because I don’t think age or height or look really matter, as long as you have what it takes, and you have what they’re looking for.”

Chris Jericho On Not Talking On TV For A Month When He Returned, Almost Quitting WWE, Internet Spoilers

Chris Jericho joined Inside The Ropes (www.facebook.com/theinsidenetwork) on Thursday night. Highlights are as follows:

Reason behind him not talking for a month on TV when he came back to WWE in 2012: “It was Vince’s idea for me to come out and not say anything and I knew when I came back people would be cheering me because I’d been gone for so long so I thought whats the best way to take away what the people want?People wanna hear this character speak So I thought what if I just don’t talk so it was Vince’s idea for me to not say anything and it went so well to the point where I said why don’t I just not talk for the entire month on the air or whatever and that’s kinda what we did.”

Thoughts on people posting spoilers online like the picture of him at Nashville Airport or news leaking that Brock Lesnar was in talks with WWE: “I think that people feel entitled nowadays because of the internet, they think they have the right to know what’s going on even before it happens and with that picture in Nashville, I was 250 miles away so who could say I would’ve been going to RAW? I could’ve been in Nashville or Atlanta but I think it peaked the fans interest. It’s funny though because that picture of me ended up being super imposed of me like walking down abbey road with The Beatles, I was standing at the JFK assasination, the pyramids of Egypt, all these funny things of like ‘Oh Where’s Jericho?’ …….I think if you don’t wanna read spoilers then don’t go online. I think there’s a small amount of people who watch every week that read the spoilers, just like a small amount that read Billboard Magazine if you’re a musician or Variety magazine if you’re an actor. But I think the majority of people don’t really give a shit and they just wanna watch and see how it unfolds. That’s the way I am. If i go to a movie, I don’t wanna know the ending or know the plot before I see it, I wanna watch it the way it was meant to be seen.”

How he almost quit the WWF the night he won the title from Triple H in 2000: “I remember the week before I lost to Viscera on Sunday Night Heat and I was like “This is it” I was pissed off, I was ready to quit. I showed up that day and i told one of the writers “I’m done, this is bullshit” At that point I wanted to go, nobody was forcing me to quit, I just wasn’t doing anything. Brian told me “Maybe you should wait before you go talk to him” He said “You’re gonna win the title tonight” I think it was a test to see what the crowd would do. I think if Vince knew how the crowd would react he might not have had me lose it later that night but it was the first test that I had that I passed with flying colours not just with Vince but with Triple H as well. It was the first time I’d had a great match in WWE. Even though I lost, I won that night. Thats what led to my last man standing match with Triple H.”

Dallas Page Talks About The Resurrection of Jake Roberts

This past Tuesday, former WCW World Champion Diamond Dallas Page was interviewed on the Big WrestleShark Show on Pulse FM in the UK. Among other topics, he discussed Jake “The Snake” Roberts moving in with him and getting his life back on track through DDPYoga.

It was also announced that Jake Roberts will be on next week’s show. Full details can be found on www.Facebook.com/BigWrestleSharkShow.

“I bought a house in Atlanta Georgia. Basically we’re filming a REAL reality show, we don’t set up anything, we just film during the day, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has moved in here. Jake started with us close to four months ago, we went down to Texas and filmed Jake, we wanted to have day one, we’re filming a documentary: ‘The Resurrection of Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts’. The tagline is, it’s never too late to heal yourself, to bring your body back, to bring your mind back, when you guys talk to him next week you’ll see what I’m talking about.

“Jake’s down 40lbs, when we filmed him to begin with, just standing up and going to the floor to do a push up. He couldn’t do it. He had to have a chair or a table to push himself up. Now he can.

“The whole point of the Resurrection of Jake is to go out on his terms. We say it all the time, his history is not his destiny and he knows that he messed up. He knows he dropped the ball numerous times. He knows he’s a junkie and an alcoholic, so we provide here at my house that we call the ‘accountability crib’, you’re accountable for everything! He has really come light years in a very short time, he still has a long way to go. The goal is to not have it end the way it ended, you know, on TMZ. Where he was all sh*tfaced in the ring and couldn’t do anything. The guy was one of the greatest performers of all time, he wants to go out with some dignity. So we want to get him ready for either one last tour or one last match, we’ll see how that works out. And hopefully he can retire with his head held high.”

Developmental Wrestler Goes Off On WWE On Twitter, Says He’s Not Afraid To Get Fired

Brandon Carter, a former offensive tackle for Texas Tech University who WWE signed this year to a developmental contract and now performs under the name TAC, posted a multitude of messages on his Twitter account Saturday criticizing the product of his employer.

As a life-long WWE fan and owner of over 900 action figures, Carter says the company’s shows have been “on repeat” for ten years and that fans deserve change. The football-player-turned-grappler wants to be the one to bring change to WWE, even going as far to put his job on the line.

“I am here to bring change to #wwe to give power to the people instead of telling you what to love #TACRevolution,” he wrote to a fan.

“Not one person in developmental or #wwe have the accolades that I do, yet they act like they are deserved something. #wwe you deserve more! Same generic cookie cutter wrestlers. ONE speaks out and he’s a REVOLUTION starter? Change is coming! #wwe you deserve it! #TAC REVOLUTION.”

Carter continued, “#wwe you deserve a REAL REVOLUTION. A revolution is not taking the mic from @JohnCena FOLLOW ME! I ill bring you to a REVOLUTION! #TAC.

“Everybody is afraid of getting fired and that’s why they play it safe! Thats why what you #wwe fans get is all the same old stuff

“Don’t you #wwe fans want something new? A real revolution? A real change? Demand it. I will lead you #TAC revolution.

“not afraid to get fired. It’s happened before. But if I don’t attempt to make a change in what I love, that means I failed all of you #wwe

“I’m sure right now people are squirming in their seats in Connecticut! But we all know what needs to be done #wwe #TAC revolution follow me!

“Don’t all of you want change?Do you feel like you’ve been watching the same show on repeat since ’02?Get behind me and we will make a change.

“I can’t lower your taxes, or bring you health care. But what I can do is bring change to what you love, #wwe #TACRevolution

“No one will stand up for what they believe in because they are a puppet to the “machine” I have cut my own strings to bring you change! #wwe.”
