Brie Bella Getting Ready To Return To The Ring

After giving birth in May, Brie Bella is getting ready to return to the ring.

On Wednesday, Brie was at the SoCal School of Pro Wrestling in San Marcos, California with Daniel Bryan, Nikki Bella and Nia Jax for a training session.

Brie last wrestled in April 2016 on the WrestleMania 32 Kickoff show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where she teamed up with fellow Total Divas castmates Alicia Fox, Natalya, Paige and Eva Marie in a 10-Superstar Tag Team Match against Lana, Naomi, Tamina, Summer Rae and Emma. Brie sealed the victory for her team when she forced Naomi to submit to the “Yes!” Lock.

A few days after the show, Brie said she would be taking an extended break from in-ring competition, citing family reasons, while also stating that she would continue working for WWE as an ambassador.

During a panel discussion at Comic-Con with WWE Superstars last month, Brie announced her return to the ring.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfMQcKV0fm0&w=620&h=349]

“My husband and I were talking, and he was like, ‘You know what, Brie, I think we have enough room to get ring and why don’t we start training?'” she said.

Brie explained that she had begged her husband to build a wrestling ring at their home in Phoenix, Arizona and he finally caved and even agreed to train her.

“We just started training, I’m hoping 2018 I can get back in the ring again,” she announced.

Knockout Removed From Global Force Wrestling Roster

It would appear that Brandi Rhodes is gone from Global Force Wrestling.

The promotion recently updated its roster section on ImpactWrestling.com and she is no longer listed as an active Knockout. She is also not listed in the Alumni section since her profile was deleted altogether.

Rhodes has not addressed her status with Global Force Wrestling.

Rhodes, who joined the promotion last September, was last seen on Impact Wrestling in April, competing in a Knockouts #1 Contender Gauntlet Battle Royal.

Rhodes is now wrestling for Ring of Honor’s Women of Honor Division. She made her ROH debut last Saturday at a television taping in Concord, North Carolina, where she teamed up with Sumie Sakai against Mandy Leon and Jenny Rose.

It was a memorable night for Rhodes since her husband, ROH World Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody, also wrestled on the show. She also paid tribute to the late Dusty Rhodes by wearing polka dots.

For the first time ever, Funk will team with The Rock N’ Roll Express, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson. Their opponents in a six-man tag team match are Jerry “The King” Lawler, Doug Gilbert and Brian Christopher. Click here for details on the event.

According to PWInsider.com, Funk has not made any wrestling-related appearances since last September when health issues forced him to leave a wrestling show early.

Update On Great Khali’s WWE Status, NXT Wrestler’s New Look

– It would appear that The Great Khali’s surprise appearance at WWE Battleground was a one-off.

Following his return, Khali’s profile was listed on WWE’s active roster on WWE.com but has since been removed. His profile is now listed in the Alumni section again.

It was also reported last week that Khali is not advertised for any upcoming live events.

At WWE Battleground, Khali returned as a heel to assist WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in his Punjabi Prison Match against Randy Orton. He prevented Orton from escaping the structure, allowing Mahal to escape and retain the WWE Championship.

– Sawyer Fulton has changed up his look again.

At last Saturday’s WWE NXT live event in Fort Pierce, Florida, the sparingly seen wrestler appeared in new attire in a match against Nick Miller.

Fulton appeared like this the week before.

At Saturday’s show, Miller pinned Fulton following a crossbody off the top rope.

Fulton was removed from SAnitY and NXT television last November due to injury. He returned to action in late April but has only competed on house shows.

ESPN’s Ric Flair ’30 for 30′ Premiere Date & Trailer

ESPN Films announced Wednesday that its 30 for 30 documentary on wrestling legend Ric Flair — titled “Nature Boy” — will premiere on Tuesday, November 7, at 10 p.m.

A press release for the documentary was also released.

ESPN Films’ Ric Flair 30 for 30 “Nature Boy” Premieres November 7

ESPN Films announced today at the Television Critics Association Press Tour (TCA) that its 30 for 30 documentary “Nature Boy,” on wrestling legend Ric Flair, will premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN. Director Rory Karpf (“I Hate Christian Laettner,” “The Book of Manning”) will take an inside look at Flair’s story, including his triumphs, his tragedies, and his pivotal role in turning pro wrestling into mainstream sports entertainment.

Real or Fake? It’s a question that’s long shadowed professional wrestling. But for one of the industry’s most legendary performers, there’s never been any separation between the ring and the world around it. His story starts in the Midwest, when a young Richard Fliehr set his sights on rising to stardom in a unique world, and decided to do anything necessary to get to where he wanted. A character was born, along with a singular desire “to be the man,” and a drive that made him as popular and polarizing as any figure ever to step into the ring. The success took a considerable toll – on his body, and on his wives and children – and in 2013 came a tragic postscript. But today, Flair remains as defiant as ever, proud of his legacy, eager to remain in the spotlight. This is the story of a man, a character, and their unbreakable connection.

“This film was basically borne out of working with Rory Karpf on our ‘I Hate Christian Laettner’ documentary,” says 30 for 30 Executive Producer John Dahl. “Rory interviewed Ric for his take on sports villains and wanted to do a film on him next. After watching that interview for the Laettner film, we were convinced that Ric would be a fascinating subject to explore for our first feature-length 30 for 30 on a pro wrestler.”

“Nature Boy” features two in-depth conversations between Karpf and Flair over a 16-month span, surrounded by interviews with those closest to the man himself; including Triple H, Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, Baby Doll, Tully Blanchard, The Undertaker, Arn Anderson, Shawn Michaels, Sting and Road Warrior Animal as well as his first wife, Leslie Jacobs, and children along with others who know Flair best.

“I grew up a huge wrestling fan in the 1980s and I was captivated by Ric Flair,” says director Rory Karpf. “It’s been a personally rewarding experience to tell the story of arguably the greatest wrestler of all time. Ric’s story transcends the wrestling business, and my hope is that it will appeal to wrestling and non-wrestling fans alike.”

Former Knockouts Champion Gone From GFW?

It would appear that Madison Rayne is gone from GFW.

Following Slammiversary on Sunday, the promotion updated its roster section on ImpactWrestling.com and Rayne is no longer listed as an active Knockout.

This does not look to be an oversight as her profile page was also deleted.

She is also not listed in the Alumni section.

Rayne has only wrestled once for the promotion this year. On January 8, she lost to Angelina Love in a match taped for the One Night Only: Rivals pay-per-view that aired in March. She has not wrestled at a TV taping since last October.

As of late, Rayne has been co-hosting With This Ring… with her husband, Josh Mathews. Here is their last show, which hyped Slammiversary.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXl4q98N7AA&w=620&h=349]

Rayne has not publicly addressed her status with GFW. She continues to wrestle independently as she is making her return to the all-female promotion SHIMMER this weekend in Berwyn, Illinois. She is wrestling under her pre-Knockout name, Ashley Lane.

Rayne became a Knockout in January 2009, aligning herself with Angelina Love and Velvet Sky as part of the villainous “The Beautiful People.” In April 2010, she won her first of five Knockouts Championships.

At today’s WWE live event in Liverpool, England, Emma was unable to continue wrestling after sustaining an injury to her shoulder.

At the show, Emma partnered with Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax in a tag team match against Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Mickie James.

While taking the double knee drop from Sasha on the turnbuckle, Emma took a bad landing on her right shoulder. The referee then threw up the “X” signal, causing the match to stop.

Emma was then tended to by a ringside physician before being assisted to the backstage area by the referee.

Justin Roberts Talks Backstage Bullying In WWE, JBL, Daniel Bryan Choking Him, Vince

Former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts participated in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Tuesday, where he answered a wide range of questions on his 12-year run in the company spanning from 2002 to 2014.

Highlights from the AMA are as follows:

Do you think the culture of “ribbing” in WWE is somehow related to the backstage bullying you’ve mentioned before? Possibly, some wrestlers cannot see where a rib becomes too serious, and is actually bullying?

It’s the mentality there.

The higher-ups don’t see it as bullying, they laugh it off and encourage it because they just find it funny. Obviously the locker room has changed, but Vince, Kevin, and Hunter like to entertain themselves and it still happens.

What was the absolute worst thing you’ve witnessed JBL do?

He terrorized guys.

It’s funny because people are bringing this up now because of the stuff going on now and the book release, but this was like 2003-2004; it was a long time ago.

He terrorized me, and a lot of guys. He’d make life hell for a lot of guys. He chewed Miz and Morrison out after they won the titles for not celebrating enough.

He was eventually let go back then, and when he came back he was a lot better, but he was mostly only showing up for TV. Even now, it comes across on commentary with how he is with Byron.

Did he have a group of people helping him terrorize people or did he work alone?

He had a group.

He was like the leader, and he pretty much had a cabinet, just like on TV. They followed him and did what he asked. It was him vs. ‘the new guys’

He had taken my passport out of my bag, and the next tour I guarded it with my life. On the flight back, Orlando Jordan told me he would watch my back and I should go to the gift shop. I didn’t take his advice.

I also remember being told I had to bring beer to the guys on the plane, but I got out of that, luckily.

Which guy other than JBL is just an asshole backstage? I know you probably don’t want to bad mouth people but was wondering.

Back then, Bob Holly, Kid Kash, and Orlando Jordan was like JBL’s stooge.

Have there been any incidents of someone standing up to a known bully and putting them in their place infront of the locker room?

Joey Styles did that to JBL on a plane with only a handful of guys, but enough for it to get around. Vince had talked to HHH about it, and HHH told the locker room about it.

How much did you know about the Nexus debut? Did you know Bryan would try and choke you with your tie? Any ill feelings etc?

I knew the general idea. I’d found out about a half hour before the show started. The tie wasn’t planned out, Daniel Bryan is really great at what he does. When he saw me laying their with the tie on, he’s just a smart guy and took it upon himself to choke me. People comment on the selling, but it was real. He wasn’t trying to kill me by any means, but he made it look good.

When we got to the back, everyone, Vince included, praised it. I am glad things worked out for Bryan; the crowd use to chant his name at me like I got him fired and I’d tell people at ringside that I liked him and it sucked he was gone.

If Vince praised it, how did he get fired?

Vince was very happy with it, but from what I understand, it had something to do with a sponsor – something corporate. They were unhappy and WWE had to do what they had to do to get paid and that was their out, no one but Bryan had to take the heat. Fortunately, they made it up to him when they brought him back. Vince had actually called him and explained everything to him.

Craziest Vince story?

He was watching Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara at HIAC, I had asked a writer to find out about a change on the show. The writer happened to ask as Vince was watching that, and he was in a bad mood. I was motioned towards Mark and I got on the headsets, and he immediately began chewing me out. I thought I was getting fired that night.

When you’re getting chewed out on the headset like that, everyone can hear… the guys in the trucks could hear.

Chewed out about what, exactly? Don’t quite understand this.

“God dammit, don’t you know how to do your job? What are you asking?!” Basically yelling at me because I asked how the setup was supposed to go…

Does he say “God damn it” alot?

Yes!

Any Undertaker stories?

There’s a magic that comes with that character, and I had to learn the hard way on how to react to help that character achieve the mystique. I learned my lesson on selling the wrong way.

In Wales, at catering, Taker was across from me and simply had a bowl of two scoops of banakee pie. For whatever reason, I started commentating the eating of his pie in JR’s voice.

I got the Undertaker to laugh at a show, so that was cool.

How would you describe Kevin Dunn? Any interesting stories about him?

Kevin Dunn sits on headsets during the show and just berates everyone. He’s kind of on a throne there. Just talks down to everyone, very negative, very high strung. Just heartless, and not a man of his word. I’m thankful that he hired me, but he’s not a good person in a company full of great people.

Was wondering what was your opinion of Chris Benoit before the tragedy? Was he as batshit crazy as other people have said?

Yes, he was crazy. I talk about that in the book. He had different personalities. He had a personality with a big heart, but on the nights where he was drinking and maybe taking pills, there was a different side and that side was crazy.

Opinion on Lillian Garcia? … and how she was able to stick around after messing up so much?

We always got along. We were very different. There was a period of time where she was making a lot of mistakes, but she was there longer than me, so, I don’t know I guess…

I guess the company were ok with mistakes. If I made a mistake, I wouldn’t get yelled at. It’s not like a normal show where you have time to memorize a script; a lot of times you’d get your verbiage on the spot.

They were patient with mistakes, both mine and hers.

The night you got released from wwe, there was rumor that you flipped off Michael Cole at ringside. Is that true if so, is that why you had been released?

Absolutely not true at all.

There was never any interaction between he and I that night. There were times on other nights I’d talk to him, but we didn’t really interact because he’s on the headsets.

But, the funny part is, he was the one who released me. And when he did, there was no anger whatsoever. No bad feelings whatsoever between us, at all.

You think there is a chance of you going back to the WWE?

No.

I am happy with everything that I did.

I had an awesome run.

I wasn’t treated well when I was there and I wouldn’t want to go through that again. I was treated awesome by co-workers, but I wouldn’t want to go through that experience with upper-management again.

Roman Reigns Says The Undertaker’s Age Means Nothing To Him, Lilian Garcia On The Price Is Right

TMZ Sports recently caught up with Roman Reigns, who asked The Big Dog about facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33. During this brief interview, The Deadman’s age came up as Reigns got asked if he can still go at 51 (The Undertaker actually turned 52 on Friday).

“He’s The Deadman. You’re talking age with The Undertaker? That don’t make sense,” Reigns replied.

“Come on, man. He could be 80 and still go, I think. What he’s done and how long he’s done it for I think he can do anything. So I don’t even worry about age or anything like that.”

Reigns also revealed his best bench press, squat and power clean numbers, and what he thinks are the greatest WrestleMania matches of all-time.

– Former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia will appear as a contestant on The Price Is Right this Friday on CBS as part of a “College Rivalry” special between alumni from Clemson University and her alma mater, the University of South Carolina.

Two WWE Stars Removed From The SmackDown Roster

Kenny and Mikey of The Spirit Squad have both been removed from the SmackDown LIVE roster, thus officially ending their return stint in WWE.

Their profiles on WWE.com were recently removed from the SmackDown LIVE roster page and placed in the WWE Alumni section.

Kenny and Mikey left the WWE spotlight in 2008 but returned last October, re-emerging on SmackDown LIVE to assist The Miz in taking down Dolph Ziggler.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOKkIpdClPg&w=560&h=315]

The duo worked together through November, at which point WWE stopping using them on SmackDown LIVE without explanation.

Kenny and Mikey weren’t signed to WWE contracts, hence their quiet departure. Both wrestlers are continuing to work on the independent circuit. They will be wrestling together this Friday in the UK.

Injury Update On Naomi – Will She Be Back In Time For WrestleMania?

Due to an unfortunate knee injury, Naomi was forced to relinquish the SmackDown Women’s Championship last month to SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan because it was established that she would be unable to defend her title in the allotted 30-day period. Alexa Bliss then won the title back after losing it at Elimination Chamber by beating Becky Lynch in an impromptu match.

On March 7, Bryan announced that “every available woman on the SmackDown LIVE roster” will have an opportunity to compete for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 33. His ruling opens up the possibility of Naomi competing at the April 2 event taking place in her hometown of Orlando, Florida, and according to her father, she will.

On Twitter, a Naomi fan asked the WWE’s star father, who is a musician in South Florida, if he had any news on when she’ll be back.

He replied, “She will be back by Wrestlemania.”

https://twitter.com/derekmackband/status/842915836469956608

He also noted that her injury is legitimate as she suffered a sprained ACL in her knee.

Naomi last provided an injury update to fans on March 7, where she said that she could still appear at WrestleMania 33.

Is Eddie Edwards’ Wife Under Contract To TNA?, Her Reaction To Being Attacked By Angelina Love

The latest episode of Impact introduced fans to Eddie Edwards’ wife Alisha (a/k/a Alexxis Nevaeh on the New England independent circuit), who along with Davey Richards and his wife, Angelina Love, was on hand to watch Edwards challenge Lashley for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship (both couples appeared together in a backstage segment before the match).

After nailing Lashley with the Boston Knee Party, Edwards went for the pin but Richards betrayed him by pulling the referee out of the ring. Meanwhile, Love attacked Alisha at ringside (they sat together watching the match). Lashley then hit Edwards with the Spear to keep the title.

Following the match, Richards choked out his former Wolves partner as Love forced Alisha to watch.

Alisha plans to get even with Love after the attack. Here is what she said on Twitter.

This angle has fans wondering whether Alisha is under contract to TNA and be a regular on Impact going forward. She noted to fans on Twitter, “Not yet.”

Alisha, who married Edwards two years ago, has been wrestling since 2006. She mostly wrestles for independent promotions in the New England area but has competed for TNA in the past (she lost to Awesome Kong on Impact in 2008 and got beat by Madison Rayne on the 2015 Knockouts Knockdown pay-per-view). She worked a match during last month’s marathon taping run at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. She faced Laurel Van Ness in a match taped for an upcoming episode of Xplosion.

WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka Passes Away

Jimmy Snuka has died at the age of 73.

According to Jim Ross, the legendary wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer passed away earlier today after battling stomach cancer.

This news was confirmed minutes later by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Snuka’s daughter, WWE star Tamina, asked that Johnson share the sad news.

Tamina posted this photo on Instagram where she’s holding her father’s hand in a hospital room. The caption reads, “I LOVE YOU DAD #FOREVERMYDAD #RestWell #FamiliesAreForever #BestDad #SnukaLegacy.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/BPS-dZ8Bt6D/

His death comes nearly two weeks after Judge Kelly L. Banach of Lehigh County in Pennsylvania dismissed charges of third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter against the wrestling legend because he was incompetent to stand trial for the 1983 murder of his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino.

Snuka’s legendary career in wrestling, which began in 1968, spanned over 30 years. He is best known for his time in WWE in the 1980s and is credited with introducing the high-flying style of wrestling to Vince McMahon’s promotion. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996.

Mick Foley Gets Another Haircut Ahead Of Tonight’s Raw (Photo)

Mick Foley kicked off the first Raw of 2017 with a new look. However, it didn’t go without a problem.

“The Hardcore Legend” later revealed on Facebook that it was a “home-made self-done haircut” that had to be fixed by a WWE stylist.

A NEW LOOK FOR MICK
It’s probably best not to take your grooming tips from the hard-core legend. After attempting a home-made self-done haircut, a WWE stylist did her very best to salvage my handiwork, and lots of locks needed to be lopped in order to foil the Foley fashion faux pas. All in all, I kind of like the haircut – probably the shortest it’s been since my commissioner run in 2000. Let me know what you think!

Ahead of tonight’s Raw, Foley got another haircut.

Nikki Bella Wrestling With The Flu, Another NXT Wrestler Gets A New Name, Lilian Garcia Update

– Nikki Bella revealed on Instagram that she’s currently battling the flu, but wrestling nonetheless. She will be on hand for tonight’s WWE live event in Lafayette, Louisiana.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BPA0vdDBfI9/

– NXT wrestler Big Damo will be known as Killian Dain going forward.

This is according to his Twitter account, which has been changed to @KillianDain. He also acknowledged the name change in a tweet.

https://twitter.com/KillianDain/status/818180857831813121

The 31-year-old wrestler from Belfast, Northern Ireland, has been wrestling at NXT house shows lately. He seemed to align himself with SAnitY during an episode of NXT last month by attacking No Way Jose and then stomping on Sawyer Fulton’s jacket on the entrance ramp.

– Lilian Garcia plans to resume her podcast, Making Their Way To The Ring, on Monday. The former WWE ring announcer says it will be an emotional show.

Lilian Garcia Says Her Father Died On Christmas Day

Lilian Garcia said today that her father, U.S. Army Retired Lt Colonel – Eduardo Garcia, lost his battle with cancer on Christmas Day.

She made the announcement in a post on Instagram and Facebook.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BOfhZFuBcI8/

On Aug. 1, Garcia announced her departure from WWE due to wanting to care for him during his battle with bladder cancer and multiple myeloma. She returned for one night on Dec. 14 at Tribute to the Troops, where she kicked off the show with “The Star-Spangled Banner.” She dedicated the performance to her dad and watched it with him on TV when the program aired on the USA Network the following night.

Is Lilian Garcia Still With WWE?, Vince McMahon’s Reaction To Her Tribute to the Troops Appearance

After announcing her departure from WWE in August to care for her ailing father, Lilian Garcia made a surprise appearance earlier this month at the company’s annual Tribute to the Troops event — held on Dec. 13 at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. The former ring announcer of Raw sang “The Star-Spangled Banner,” which may have left fans wondering if she could still return to the road on a full-time basis.

While Garcia has repeatedly said that she is no longer with WWE, the company never issued a formal announcement confirming her departure. WWE, however, quietly moved her profile on WWE.com to the Alumni section last week, which would indicate that she’s officially gone from the company. Up until then, she was listed as an active member of the WWE roster.

Garcia discussed her appearance at Tribute to the Troops last Monday on her podcast, Making Their Way To The Ring, where she again said that she needs to spend time with her father. She revealed that she lost part of her voice due to the stress she’s currently going through because of her father’s illness, which led to difficulty in getting through “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Garcia also talked about WWE welcoming her with open arms backstage at the show.

“It’s like a forever family, that I feel there. And then to see Triple H and Vince McMahon when I walked in and saw them … I mean, they both gave me this huge hug,” Garcia said.

“When I got done singing and I went back to Vince and thanked him for everything, he was just like, “‘Damn girl! I don’t know if that was the best you’ve ever sung it, or we just miss you around here!'”

What Happened To Summer Rae? – WWE Star Explains Why She’s Been Missing For Months

Since being drafted to Raw in July, Summer Rae has been missing from WWE television. While she continued to wrestle following the Draft, she has not competed in three months. Her most recent match took place on August 14 in a tag team contest at a non-televised show.

With fans in the dark over her WWE status, this led fans to ask Raw General Manager Mick Foley to give her a chance on the show last month.

In a lengthy Instagram post late last night, Summer Rae explained why she’s been missing these past few months. The 32-year-old revealed that she’s been very carefully recovering from an injury that she initially chose to not publicly address.

Well it’s almost mid November now, so maybe it’s time to answer the question I get flooded with every single day on social media. For the past 2 & a half months I have been dealing with an injury. I’ve been very private & not shared my journey during this time. I don’t know why that is actually. Perhaps talking about it & putting a spotlight on it makes it more real & that wasn’t something I was ready for.

A spotlight is put on us in every aspect of our lives so maybe I thought ‘let me deal with this privately since it effects so many things in my life in & out of the ring’. Or maybe why I haven’t talked about it is because I assumed it would be an easy fix & wouldn’t take that long to get back to normal. That it wouldn’t take this long to not only fix but diagnose as well. That alone is so frustrating. That holding pattern that your life is put in.

For 9 years I’ve been lucky to lead a healthy athletic career in both football & wrestling so these aren’t things or emotions I’ve had to experience before. I’ve gone thru so many emotions during this time but been very private with it all. I love what I do. I am absolutely in love with wrestling & the WWE universe. It’s so unique & unlike anything else in the world!

In this business you just go go go & putting your body on the line every night becomes second nature & you don’t think much of it. But that isn’t a normal thing. Our bodies aren’t made to do this. But you forget that when you hear the roar of the crowd!

I’ve been so humbled by the overwhelming support towards me on social media & seeing the fans outpouring love & passion. I must say it’s bittersweet seeing it from home. Im lucky to be surrounded by an amazing team of doctors & physical therapists. Its a lot harder than I thought it would be to fix things but you only have one body so taking care of mine is a top priority right now.

Sharing this with you guys has been weighing heavily on my heart lately & I felt like I needed to. It’s been one of the most frustrating times of my life filled with so many different emotions. Generally speaking, the unknown is scary. But thru the greatest times of uncertainty in my life have come immeasurable things.

Indy Promoter Asks For Someone To Check On Scott Hall After Missing Show On Saturday

What happened to Scott Hall?

The WWE Hall of Famer was advertised to appear for DREAMWAVE Wrestling on Saturday in La Salle, Illinois, but was a no-show. Following this, DREAMWAVE Wrestling CEO Jay Repsel sent out a tweet asking for someone to check on Hall’s whereabouts. According to Repsel, Hall is not returning his calls or texts after failing to board a flight to the event.

Hall was advertised to appear alongside Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman at the event. Ultimately, only HBK and Nash appeared as Waltman also wasn’t able to make it for undisclosed reasons. Waltman, however, sent out an apology on Twitter and has agreed to appear at a show in December.

Halle Berry’s Rep Responds To Ric Flair Claiming That He Slept With Her

Ric Flair is drawing some mainstream attention for claiming last week on the Ric Flair Show that he slept with actress Halle Berry after she divorced former Major League Baseball player David Justice. Berry and Justice got divorced in June 1997 and were residing in Georgia at the time; Justice was playing for the Atlanta Braves.

“She was in Atlanta and just got divorced from David Justice,” Flair said after claiming he had slept with “several dozen” stars.

When asked by co-host Conrad Thompson if he was making the story up, Flair replied, “Would I have to make up a lie?”

Berry’s camp is vehemently denying Flair’s claim.

TMZ reached out to Berry’s rep, who shut down the wrestling legend’s story as bogus.

A source close to Berry added, “There is NO truth to this! Halle has literally never even heard of him let alone met him!!!”

TMZ was also told that Berry is “deeply offended” by Flair.

“A man doesn’t get to sexualize and lie about a woman he’s never met to better himself of his name,” a source close to Berry added. “It’s offensive, demeaning and beyond misogynistic.”
