Parker Boudreaux is considered a blue-chip prospect for WWE. He recently signed with the company and has been backstage at events as of late.
Boudreaux posted video online yesterday that is garnering attention. The former UCF football star says he’s played his last ‘snap and is now focused on his pro-wrestling career.
Boudreaux continued to post several images to his Twitter account. Braun Strowman then responded to one Twitter user’s belief that Boudreaux could face Strowman at WrestleMania someday.
WrestleMania…?????? Lol call me if he figures out how to even put laces in his boots. #IAmTheOnlyBigThing
Boudreaux previously noted that he gets comparisons to Brock Lesnar as well as Rocky IV’s Ivan Drago.
“I probably get that one every day,” he said to the Bleacher Report. “I’ll get [Ivan] Drago from Rocky. I’ll get [Brian] Bosworth. Everybody has something. It’s pretty funny.”
Jim Ross has also spoken about Boudreaux’s potential. He sent out the following Tweet last April.
Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, host venue for WWE WrestleMania IV and V, was demolished Wednesday morning. The poorly-performing casino had been closed since 2014 and Donald Trump has not been associated with it since 2009.
“The way we put Trump Plaza and the city of Atlantic City on the map for the whole world was really incredible,” said Bernie Dillon, the events manager for the casino from 1984 to 1991.

“Everyone from Hulk Hogan to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, it was the whole gamut of personalities. One night before a Tyson fight I stopped dead in my tracks and looked about four rows in as the place was filling up, and there were two guys leaning in close and having a private conversation: Jack Nicholson and Warren Beatty.”
The actual WrestleMania events were held in nearby Jim Welan Boardwalk Hall. Trump Plaza was given the host-venue naming rights for the events.
“It was like that a lot. You had Madonna and Sean Penn walking in. Barbra Streisand and Don Johnson, Muhammad Ali would be there. Oprah sitting with Donald ringside,” Dillon continued. “It was a special time. I’m sorry to see it go.”
WrestleMania IV featured “Macho Man” Randy Savage win the WWF Championship in a single-elimination tournament. He defeated Ted Dibiase in the finals. The following year, WrestleMania V featured the Mega-Powers exploding when Savage took on Hulk Hogan. Hogan would regain the title in the main event.
Teddy Hart is currently being housed in the Tarrant County Correction Center in Fort Worth, Texas on various charges.
Hart was originally arrested and charged for “injuring a disabled person, evading arrest, and being in possession of a controlled substance” back in 2016. His records show he was also arrested on these same charges back in October and now again on February 10th, 2021. This likely means he has been arrested for violating the terms of his release on these charges.
The ever-useful Twitter account “@IsTeddyHartinJail” has been providing updates:
Teddy Hart has had many legal challenges over the years. He was arrested and charged with DUI, evading arrest, and auto theft in 2017. Hart was also arrested on sexual assault charges in 2014 but those charges were dropped in 2016.
He was arrested for possession and intent to sell or distribute a schedule III substance around this time last year in Virginia. A few weeks later he was arrested again for violating his house arrest. Then a few weeks after that, he was arrested for the 3rd time in under a month for strangulation resulting in wounding/bodily harm stemming from a domestic abuse incident.
He would later release a YouTube video talking about those arrests.
“When I went to go pick up some weed, I guess my license plate, which we have already knew had someone else’s name on it. I tried to explain to the officer that it’s already been taken care of. The officer said there’s nothing he could do about it and searched the car and needed to impound the car because the car came up as not mine and the registration [didn’t match] the license… While they were searching the car, they found some steroids, and they found some weed. Those are both charges and now I’m sitting in jail waiting,” Hart said.
Impact Wrestling on 2/16 featured the promotional debut of Juice Robinson and David Finlay. The former IWGP tag-team champions and World Tag League winners faced Reno Scum on the show. Moose and Tommy Dreamer faced off in an old-school rules match in the main event.
Impact 2/16 Quick Results:
X-Division Championship TJP defeated Josh Alexander
Trey Miguel defeated Willie Mack vs Suicide vs Daivari
Matt Cardona defeated Hernandez
FinJuice (David Finlay & Juice Robinson) defeated Reno SCUM (Adam Thornstowe & Luster The Legend)

FinJuice Has Arrived, Agree To Drink Beers With The Good Brothers
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SD_K_NLGeBg
After a video announcing their arrival aired at No Surrender, Juice Robinson and David Finlay made their Impact debuts this week. They defeated the team of Reno Scum. After the match, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows confronted them from the stage.
Anderson spoke about how when the Good Brothers were in Japan, Finlay was just a young lion. Juice arrived in NJPW in 2015 and spent a year or so in slightly-above young lion status. All the while, Anderson and Gallows were winning the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships and the World Tag League tournament. Anderson and Gallows spoke to Juice and Finlay as if they were still those young boys. They did invite Finjuice to go grab some beers with them, however.
Juice and Finlay agreed to the drinks but noted that they are not those young lions anymore. In fact, FinJuice have also won both the NJPW World Tag League and the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. It appears we might get a match between these two successful tag-teams sometime down the road in Impact.
Tony Khan Really Enjoys His Ads On Impact Wrestling
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlmRX5ZLBqM
Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone were dressed up in Valentine’s Day gear this week, making both look like big fans of Shawn Michaels from the early to mid-90s.
Khan was upset that nobody gave him anything for Valentine’s Day but his gift to Impact was to continue buying these ads. He also said his accountant says it counts as a charitable donation. They ran down The Good Brothers for their interference at Beach Break. Khan then continued to talk about how he is the Forbidden Door and that anyone can show up on Dynamite.
Tommy Dreamer Fails To Get Revenge On Moose
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksP55Np2Z5Q
Moose attached Rich Swann after the main event at No Surrender on Saturday. Tommy Dreamer went to Scott D’Amore and asked for an old school rules match against Moose in this week’s main event. Dreamer wanted revenge on Moose but he wasn’t able to get it.
Moose picked up the win with his Lights Out spear for the win. He would stand tall over Dreamer to end the show. At some point, we will get Moose vs Rich Swann for the world title and when that day comes, it could spell the end of Swann’s title reign.
TJP Successfully Defends The X-Division Title Against Josh Alexander
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0EGSoLFM5I
At No Surrender, Josh Alexander won the triple threat revolver match to put him in a top-spot to contend for the X-Division title. Impact announced shortly after that he would receive his title shot on this week’s show.
After a 15-minute back-and-forth athletic contest, TJP would pick up the win after a Detonation Kick and Mamba splash. Later in the show, it would be revealed that TJP has not shortage of other contenders.
Ace Austin and TJP both found themselves in Scott D’Amore’s office later. Austin was complaining that he still has not received the title shot he earned months ago. D’Amore decided there will be a 6-person tag match next week and the winning team will then face off in a triple threat match with an X-Division title shot on the line.
The teams will be Ace Austin, Chris Bey and Black Taurus vs Willie Mack, Josh Alexander and Trey Miguel
Trey Miguel Picks Up Big Win, Sami Callihan Not Impressed
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGJzV5SZ0Og
Trey Miguel made it all the way to the final 3 in the triple threat revolver match at No Surrender. He wasn’t able to win the match but didn’t take the final pin either. This week, Miguel had a chance to again move up the rankings when he took on Daivari, Willie Mack, and Suicide. The former member of the Rascalz would pick up the win after hitting a Meteora on Suicide.
After the match, Sami Callihan confronted Miguel and told him the reason he didn’t win at No Surrender was because he has no passion.
Brian Myers Confronts Matt Cardona
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U12mNzawHoY
Longtime friends, tag partners, and wrestling figure collectors, Brian Myers and Matt Cardona appear to be in the beginning stages of a feud. Cardona defeated Hernandez in singles action this week but was confronted by Myers after the match. Myers said that he came to Impact first and it’s his. Hernandez then attacked Cardona from behind but Eddie Edwards would run out to make the save.
Tenille Dashwood Attempts To Recruit Havok As Her New Partner
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_VEjI3We6c
The team of Havok and Neveah may be coming to an end. After failing to win the titles against Fire N Flava at No Surrender, some dissension was visible between the two.
This week, the two were seen talking in the back when Tenille Dashwood interrupted. While Dashwood constantly says that it is “all about her” she still seems motivated to be in a tag-team. Neveah took offence to Dashwood attempting to recruit her partner and challenged her to a match. When the two met in singles action later in the show, it was Dashwood pulling out the win with a Spotlight kick.
Next Week On Impact Wrestling

The following matches have been booked for next week:
Winning Team Faces Each Other For X-Division Title Shot Ace Austin, Chris Bey and Black Taurus vs Willie Mack, Josh Alexander and Trey Migue
#1 Contenders Knockouts Tag Team Championships Jordynne Grace & Jazz vs Kimber Lee & Susan w/ Deonna Purrazzo
MVP suffered a leg injury on WWE RAW last night. MVP teamed with his Hurt Business stablemates Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin in a losing effort against Matt Riddle and the Lucha House Party. After the show, MVP appeared on RAW talk on crutches.
According to a report from Wrestling Observer Radio, MVP needed help getting to the back after the match. PW Insider then reported this morning that MVP had traveled to Birmingham, Alabama for further evaluation. Birmingham is home to the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI), where WWE talent injuries are often treated.
As of this writing, it is not clear how severe the injury is or if MVP is expected to miss significant time.
Back in October, MVP spoke about how his return to WWE materialized.
“When I contacted WWE and asked about coming back as a surprise entry, I was blown away by how happy they were to have me. They got floor seats for my little boy so he could have a great experience, and he got to meet Rey Mysterio.”
MVP has wrestled in 28 matches during his return to WWE. He made his return in the 2020 Royal Rumble. Since that time, he has amassed a 0-9-1 record in singles matches. His only non-loss was a no contest in a match against Mustafa Ali. He has done a little better in tag-matches with a 9-7 record. His other 2 matches were the 2020 Royal Rumble and a gauntlet match in January. He didn’t win either.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will both take part in an episode of NBC’s Punky Brewster reboot scheduled to begin airing later this month. The series will debut on the Peacock streaming service on February 25th, 2021.
New pictures have been released today by the Bleacher Report of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair appearing on the show. It seems the two will be playing themselves in a special WWE-themed episode.
The original Punky Brewster ran for four seasons between 1984 and 1988. Soleil Moon Frye, who starred as the original Punky Brewster, will reprise the role in the reboot. This time instead of being a bright-eyed child, however, Punky is a single mother of three.
Former WWE writer, Freddie Prinze Jr, also has a role on the show. He will play the role of Punky’s ex-husband.
Bliss recently spoke about wanting to get into acting during an interview with Hollywood Life.
“I would love to, at some point, cross over [to movies] and bring a mix of WWE fans and mainstream fans together,” she said. “Merge the worlds together. I would love do something like that – or have my own little talk show on the WWE Network! I would love to test the waters and see what happens.”
Doors between wrestling promotions are swinging open all over the place these days, it seems. Now, an AEW tag-team who recently challenged for the Impact tag-team titles is calling out the tag champs from ROH.
This started when Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy sent a message to Matt Hardy on Twitter after failing to win the Impact titles at No Surrender.
The Foundation’s Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham are just 7 days shy of tying Cesaro and Chris Hero for the 3rd most days spent with the ROH tag titles. The 426 days they have spent with the titles is the longest single-reign in the titles’ lineage. Granted, the promotion was shut down for 6 months during their reign.
Austin Theory is missing. There is concern about his well-being. He was last seen walking to the ring with other members of The Way as they accompanied Johnny Gargano for his NXT North American title match against KUSHIDA. It appeared Dexter Lumis rendered him unconscious after placing a towel over his mouth and nose.
Indi Hartwell has been broken up about her brother-figure’s disappearance. She posted the following to Twitter recently.
This photo was taken during a photo shoot before Johnny’s match last night, moments before Austin went missing. I regret fighting with him during the shoot. I wish I could take it back, because now we don’t know if we’ll ever see him again. pic.twitter.com/Z048bTmbRw
Ever since Austin Theory went missing, his Twitter account has begun posting some suspicious content. First, the profile pic associated with the account was changed.
Gargano successfully defended his title against KUSHIDA at TakeOver: Vengeance Day on Sunday. It seems likely that he will eventually have to face Lumis with the title on the line, however. Gargano recently regained the NXT North American title for the 3rd time when he won a triple threat against Leon Ruff and Damian Priest at War Games IV.
Gargano recently spoke about what his remaining goals in NXT are in an interview with Sportskeeda.
“For me, being the underdog ‘Johnny Wrestling’ character, I was always more about the chase than the actual title and holding it and defending it,” Gargano explained. “So now I feel like that’s the one blemish on my legacy is not being able to hold the title, not being able to defend it, not being able to have a run with it. So, I feel like that is the number one goal on my mind right now.”
WWE has signed two new talents recently, one of whom has been in appearing in Impact Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling as of late.
As first reported by Fightful, WWE has signed Blake Christian to a developmental deal. Christian has appeared recently on episodes of New Japan Strong taped from NJPW’s Los Angeles dojo. He also appeared in Impact Wrestling as recently as this weekend’s No Surrender event.
Christian had also performed regularly with Game Changer Wrestling. At Impact Wrestling’s Genesis event last month, Christian made it to the finals of the Super X Cup. He also made it to the semi-finals of NJPW’s Super J Cup tournament before losing to El Phantasmo.
According to a report from PWInsider, WWE has also signed former Ring of Honor talent, Harlem Bravado. The 31-year-old was trained by Delrious at the ROH dojo. He had also performed with EVOLVE before the promotion shut down. According to match records, Bravado has not performed since the start of the pandemic and EVOLVE’s final shows.
The signing of Christian and Bravado comes at a time when Taya Valkyrie and blue-chip prospect Parker Bordeaux have also signed with the company. Additionally, the members of MSK also signed with the company earlier this year.
Rapper Bow Wow has said that he plans to get into pro-wrestling as he winds his music career to a close. Today, he took to Twitter to announce that he has chosen to train with Rikishi.
Rikishi helps run the KnokX Pro Entertainment promotion and academy in Los Angeles, CA.
I have officially decided to train with my boy @TheREALRIKISHI at his gym in California to get ready for the @wwe . LOCKED IN
Bow Wow then sent a message to Damian Priest that he’s got John Morrison’s back and he’s coming for him and Bad Bunny.
Hey @ArcherOfInfamy tell your little pet bad bunny I’ve been watching… and im not impressed. ? ? ? … i got @TheRealMorrison back! Stop hiding from the REAL mr bunny
“A lot of the wrestlers who are coming for me on twitter should be happy im going back and forth. Most have like 70k followers. Im actually helping you become a bigger name (million dollar man laugh) how you on RAW with 50k followers. Something not adding up,” Bow Wow also Tweeted.
When asked who he’d like to face in WWE, Bow Wow had the following to say:
“I want bad bunny. But retribution jumped out on me first. Id love to bring them down 1 by 1”

Pat McAfee was not surprised that Adam Cole turned on Kyle O’Reilly and Finn Balor last night. The former NFL player has been trying to tell everyone that Cole is no good. McAfee took to Twitter last night to give his thoughts on the breakup of the Undisputed Era.
Internet Wrestling Community, I am now accepting your apologies in abundance.
You are by far the dumbest group of humans on the internet, you could’ve never known your hero was a treasonous scumbag but, I knew it all along. Please use #PatWasRight in your apology tweets. pic.twitter.com/DuQRpJNAbJ
“Pretty easy answer here right? He’s a scumbag. That’s why. I’ve been saying it ALL ALONG. You stooges wouldn’t listen. Say it with me you dum dums..” he also Tweeted.
“I was talked about in the wrestling community yesterday by Triple H, actually, about my future plans. It was interesting,” McAfee began on the Pat McAfee Show. “I mean, all very nice things he said there, but me learning about being written off TV did happen live on the air. He’s a very nice man, Mr. H, for everything he said. He did say, basically, like, ‘Pat has been very busy. Kind of a fat a– right now. He’s going to have to get back into shape,’ basically is what he said. And then maybe we’ll think about something.”
Adam Cole super kicked Finn Balor in the face following the conclusion of the Vengeance Day main event. This seemingly breaks up, or at least splits up, the long-running NXT faction.
Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish, formerly known as ReDragon in ROH/NJPW and elsewhere, debuted in NXT at TakeOver: Brooklyn III in the summer of 2017. They then aligned with Adam Cole. Roderick Strong joined the group after turning on his partner, Pete Dunne, in the 2018 Dusty Rhodes Classic.
With NXT now on a major cable network as opposed to just the WWE Network, many fans have wondered how much wrestlers from the brand are paid. The range that NXT wrestlers are paid was recently addressed on an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.
“They are above that,” Meltzer said when asked if top stars in NXT are making in the $50-75 grand a year range. “They are not getting $250-300K or anything like that. Balor I’m sure is but I don’t think anyone else is.”
“They’re probably in the low-1s ($100K),” Meltzer continued to say about top NXT talent.
“I know of one of the top people in NXT who has been there for a long time who should be making a tonne, and he’s making $130K. So they’re making $130-150K. Adam Cole, maybe he’s making a little more, he should be. That’s the range.”
How much newly signed talent to NXT are paid was also addressed.
“NXT usually to start is maybe $60k maybe $50k depending who you are. If you are a guy who was like a football player, you’ll get more and you’ll get raises up to a certain point. There might be guys (getting) more than that, but not much more. It’s not like they are paying $250K to guys in NXT other than Balor.”
Tom Cole, the victim at the center of the 1980s “ring boy scandal” in WWE has passed away. The death has been ruled a suicide. Our sincerest condolences go out to the Cole family and Tom’s brother Lee.
Lee Cole put out a statement on Twitter over the weekend. He addresses WWE directly in his post.
“My brother Tom Committed suicide a couple of hours ago. Vince Mc Mahon and his wife Linda let child molesters into their companies years ago and did everything possible to cover up what they did to my brother. I hope you can sleep good at night Vince. Our family suffers. Thank U,” he Tweeted.
Wresting journalist, David Bixenspan, has been Tweeting about this.
In keeping with ethical guidelines on the reporting of suicide, further details regarding the cause of death have not been posted. Suicide prevention lifeline: 1-800-273-8255. More information on warning signs as well as additional helpful information can be found here.
Lee Cole’s YouTube video talking about the 1980s ring boy scandal and his brother Tom is below:
The ring boy scandal was covered on an episode of the Donahue show in 1992.
An anonymous source spoke to Business Insider about what happened with the ring boy scandal in the 1980s.
“The boys that the company hired to put up the ring and so forth, were being … had by some of the folks who were in the wrestling ops side of things. And it was just generally known, by everybody, that it was going on.”
They also note that the McMahons “clearly knew what was going on, but really did nothing to stop it…. There was not a damn thing we could do about it.”
The NXT Women’s division is about to get a major player. According to a report from PW Insider, Taya Valkyrie has signed with WWE and will be headed to the NXT brand. Taya had been with Impact Wrestling from 2017 to the end of 2020. She was a focal point in the promotion throughout her entire run.
Prior to ending up in Impact Wrestling, Taya Valkyrie was a big star in Mexico with AAA. She is a multi-time Reina de Reinas Champion (a title she still holds) and was part of the Perros del Mal faction. She also performed in Lucha Underground from 2016-18.
Valkyrie trained with Lance Storm at the Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is originally from Victoria, BC, Canada.
Taya had the longest single-reign in Impact Knockouts Championship history during her run with the company. She was voted Knockout of the year in the promotion in 2019. In storyline, her run with the promotion came to an end when she was arrested for the shooting and attempted murder of John E. Bravo.
“Well, I really enjoy both products” Taya Valkyrie began. “Obviously, I’m a wrestling fan, always have been. There’s a lot of people that get into wrestling [that] are wrestling fans, surprise, and honestly, I don’t know what’s gonna happen next for me because as a lot of people don’t realize is that I have been signed for about eight-and-a-half years from AAA into Lucha Underground into IMPACT.”

Sammy Guevara was reportedly sent home from the recent Impact tapings in Nashville. According to a report from Slam Wrestling, Guevara rejected a storyline that would have seen the 27-year-old debut in the promotion.
Chris Jericho is said to have come up with an idea for Guevara to appear in Impact Wrestling. This would take place after he quit the Inner Circle on Dynamite. Guevara, however, is said to have contacted Impact directly with complaints about the creative direction. Impact then contacted Jericho and Tony Khan about Guevara’s comments. It’s not known what Guevara’s complaints were or what he said to Impact.
It doesn’t appear as though Jericho was happy about whatever Guevara said to Impact, however. Jericho is then said to have reached out to his longtime friend, Don Callis, about “banning Guevara” from the premises. Jericho is then believed to have sent Guevara a text instructing him to head home and not attend the tapings in Nashville.
*Update*
The issue was covered recently on an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.
“AEW and Impact are still working together. From an AEW standpoint, there’s not any heat on Sammy for what he did. From the Impact side, I’m sure there is. That’s just what the deal is,” said Dave Meltzer.
There had been speculation amongst fans online that Guevara could turn up in Impact Wrestling. Evidently, there were plans for this to happen at one point.
At the conclusion of last night’s No Surrender broadcast, Impact announced that NJPW Juice Robinson and David Finlay are coming to the promotion. Private Party and Matt Hardy have been in Impact for the last month. Kenny Omega frequently appeared on the show throughout December and January.
Doors between professional wrestling organizations are being opened and walked through with increased frequency lately. As announced on last night’s No Surrender event, NJPW’s Juice Robinson and David Finlay are headed to Impact Wrestling.
At the conclusion of last night’s broadcast on Impact Plus, a video promoting the debut of Juice and Finlay in Impact was shown.
Collectively known as “Fin Juice,” the pair are former IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. They also won the World Tag League tournament in 2019. Robinson is also a former 2x IWGP United States Champion.
Don Callis On Juice Robinson
Don Callis had previously expressed that Juice Robinson was someone he would like to bring into his promotion. On an episode of his old “Killin the Town” podcast in 2018, Callis had the following to say about Juice.
“Juice is a tremendous performer with unlimited likeability and unlimited charisma,” Callis said. “He definitely is a rock star.”
“I really like him a lot,” Callis continued. “He’s a guy you build a company around.”
In the same interview from nearly 3 years ago, Callis made some prophetic statements.
“I agree with a lot of the conjecture online that talks about the fact that there are walls being broken down in the business right now,” Callis said. “I might just be the guy holding the hammer.”

Young Rock debuts this week on NBC and wrestling fans will likely be pleased to know that two iconic personalities from the industry will be portrayed on the show. The Rock took to social media recently to reveal who will be playing the roles of Vince McMahon and “Macho Man” Randy Savage on the show.
Kevin Makely’s IMDB credits include Badland and Zeroville. Adam Ray was the voice of Slimer in the 2016 version of Ghostbusters. He was also a cast member on the 2016 reboot of MadTV.
Young Rock Additional Cast
More cast:
Joseph Lee Anderson – Rocky Johnson
Brett Azar – The Iron Sheik
Robert Crayton – Warren Sapp
Matthew Willig – Andre the Giant
The Rock talks about Young Rock
After the show was announced, Rock posted a video to social media where he spoke about the show.
“We’re going to find the Rock wreaking havoc in the streets of Hawaii getting arrested,” Johnson said in the above video. “We were forced to leave the island and move to all places, Nashville, Tennessee. Those were the years that were very formative and helped shape me. The confluence of wild personalities that came in and out of my life during these times are just fascinating.”
The Rock also recently discussed Young Rock on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon:
Young Rock on NBC
Young Rock premieres Tuesday, February 16th on NBC. Here’s the official premise:
“As Dwayne Johnson runs for president in 2032, he takes a comedic look back at his extraordinary life through the outrageous stories of his family and youth that shaped him into the man he is today. He explores his childhood years living amid influential wrestling icons while his dad rose to fame in the business, his rebellious teenage years attending high school in Pennsylvania, and his football years teamed up with powerhouse players at the University of Miami. In his telling, Johnson explains that while his experiences have been larger than life, he remains a down-to-earth guy who still relates to the American people.
Eric Bischoff recently spent some time on his podcast discussing the commentary team in TNA during his tenure with the organization from 2010 to 2014. According to Bischoff, he wanted to hire Jim Ross to work for TNA in 2011.
Conrad Thompson asked Bischoff on the show what he thought of the commentary team of Mike Tenay and Taz that was in TNA at the time.
“I loved them both individually, I think they are both incredibly talented,” Bischoff said about the team. “I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again, and I’ll probably keep saying it until the day I can no longer say it. You’ve got two guys doing color. There was no play-by-play and I think that doesn’t serve the product.”
Bischoff continued to say that Mike Tenay was great at color commentary but did not know how to do play-by-play.
“To me as a producer, it was a huge, glaring, blackhole and a void in the product.”
Bischoff then said that it was the reason why he tried to get Jim Ross to TNA in 2011.
“It’s one of the reasons why I was instrumental in supporting Jim Ross coming to TNA,” he continued. “I was the one who supplied Dixie Carter with Jim Ross’ phone number to get that ball rolling. I knew we needed a good play-by-play guy with Taz in order to complete the story, complete the package.”
Ross never did sign with TNA. He continued to be employed by WWE at the time up until being fired in 2013.
Bischoff’s comments can be heard in the player below:
Cameron Grimes returned to WWE NXT this week. He pulled up to the Capitol Wrestling Center in an expensive car and began tossing handfuls of cash around. According to comments made recently on Figure Four Daily, Grimes really did come into some money through the recent Reddit/Wall Street Bets controversy. He perhaps didn’t make as much as his on-screen persona seems to have, however, but still did pretty good.
“Cameron Grimes was injured, was taken off TV, they were going to reintroduce him,” Bryan Alvarez said on the show. “During this time, I presume Cameron Grimes was f***ing around on Reddit.”
“Cameron Grimes bought a whole bunch of AMC (the movie theatre, not Gamestop). He bought it at a very low price. I’m talking like $15 a share and then he sold it for like $350 a share.”
“So in fact, he made a s**t tonne of money off the whole Gamestop deal. Now, he didn’t make enough money to be Elon Musk. But he literally made probably easy 5 figures.”
Grimes is encouraging his followers to join him on his expedition to the moon, by downloading the Robinhood app.
You too can go to the moon! Trust me I got a Lamborghini! Join Robinhood with my link and we'll both get a free stock ? https://t.co/jC4zyDczyP
WWE NXT’s Kacy Catanzaro has released a statement in response to backlash she has been receiving as a result of social media posts and videos that show her not adhering to social distancing guidelines.
Dressed in a “Baby Yoda” t-shirt, Catanzaro had the following to say:
“I know that people are concerned that I was at a restaurant over the weekend. I want everyone to know that I hear you and I appreciate the concern.”
Catanzaro then explained that in Florida restaurants are open for indoor dining up to a certain capacity.
“Here where I live in Florida, restaurants are open to a certain capacity. We wear a mask when we go in, when we leave, really anytime that we aren’t sitting down at our table we have to have a mask but when we are sitting down to eat or drink, we are allowed to take our masks off, and I know that that’s the part that people saw that people were upset with.”
People online have been sharing videos such as the one below:
Kacy Catanzaro Statement On Following COVID-19 Protocols and Guidelines
“I’m sorry for anybody that is upset. I understand your concern and I want you to know that I do care about the safety of others around me, and myself, and I follow all of the protocol.”
“Luckily for me, with work we get tested at least once per week if not twice sometimes,” she continued.
She continued to say that she does follow guidelines and does wear a mask.
“Everywhere that we have to, I wear my mask. I’m sorry that this moment made people think otherwise but I just want you all to know that I hear you, I appreciate the concern, I’m looking out for the safety of others around me as well as trying to take care of myself the best I can, and I wish the best for everybody else.”
WWE’s Paige stars in a new music video from Falling in Reverse released yesterday. Paige has been in a relationship with the group’s singer, Ronnie Radke, since 2018. The video is for the group’s newest single “I’m Not A Vampire (Revamped).”
Paige took to her social media accounts to promote the music video.
“This is absolutely beautiful! Check out my friends amazing work! Raya you looked incredible and did so well, Ronnie killed it with those pipes. Visuals on point. Just epic all around!” Tweeted Zelina Vega.
“Scariest thing ever. He told us symbols led him to us. But Ronnie got him in a hold until police got there. Wtf is wrong with people… thank god Ronnie is around to protect our house. Jesus,” she Tweeted about the incident.
“In the end, it becomes a cycle. Eventually, something is happening to you every day,” Paige said. “You could be trapped in a room for 6-7 hours, getting your ass beat every couple of minutes. And he’s doing all these crazy things to you.”
“I never thought that I’d be put in that position in my life, just cause of the way I was brought up,” Paige continued. “It happens to even the most strongest people and you should never feel bad about it.”

Race passed away from lung cancer on August 1st, 2019. A few months after his death, Punk spoke to Sportsnet about getting a tattoo to honor him.
“The Harley Race tattoo is in motion, so to speak,” Punk said during the interview. He also mentioned a tattoo he has honoring the late Mitsuharu Misawa.
“Harley was a big piece of my career whether people realize it or not,” Punk continued. “He’s somebody who deserves to be memorialized.”
CM Punk Harley Race Stories
Bruce Prichard once revealed that CM Punk actually took a shot of alcohol once to celebrate Harley Race’s birthday. Prichard told the story on an episode of his podcast.
“Everybody got shots for Harley’s birthday. Now Punk doesn’t drink, don’t do drugs, but he took a shot out of respect for Harley Race,” Prichard said on his podcast. “And he goes, ‘you know, Harley asked me to do it, one shot’s not gonna kill me. I’m not gonna go get hammered, I took a shot out of respect for Harley Race.’ and for whatever reason, I just thought that was cool.”
Jim Ross spent some time recently on his “Grillin JR” podcast discussing changes to WWE’s cannabis policy in 2008.
“I’m not advocating yay or nay. I’m 420-friendly in my personal life. It works for me when done correctly. People are going to make a big deal out of this. I’m sure it’ll be a clickbait thing,” JR said. “I’d rather have a talent go to his room or her room and smoke a joint, get some room service, watch a movie, as opposed to be out gallivanting around.”
Conrad Thompson noted on the show that in 2008 the policy was changed so that testing positive for cannabis was not counted as a wellness violation. Additionally, testing would only occur once per year. The fine for a positive test was made $1000.
“I think marijuana should be legal and it should be taxed and it should create new money,” he continued.
“Look at how the NFL does it, they don’t discourage it,” JR continued. “They say they do, they have to say they do but if they did they would have a much more stringent testing program.”
