The Undertaker Reveals Iconic WWE Spot That He “Did Not Want” To Do

WWE legend The Undertaker recently opened up about one of the most iconic moments in professional wrestling history—Mick Foley’s fall from the top of the Hell in a Cell at King of the Ring 1998.

In a candid interview on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, The Undertaker, real name Mark Calaway, revealed that this infamous spot was something he “did not want” to do.

The Build-Up to the Legendary Spot

The match between The Undertaker and Mick Foley, who wrestled as Mankind, has been etched into the annals of WWE history.

However, what many fans don’t know is that The Undertaker was initially against the idea of throwing Foley off the top of the cell.

Calaway tried to dissuade Foley from taking such a dangerous risk, but Foley was determined to outdo the previous Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels:

“I’m like, ‘That’s what I’m going to go down for. I killed Mick Foley.’ And I’m thinking, Wow, okay, that’s [the match] over with, butThat son of a b**ch, he’s like … he starts climbing back up!”

The Fall That Shook the Wrestling World

Despite The Undertaker’s reservations, Foley insisted on the spot, even bringing Vince McMahon into the discussion to convince him.

On the night of the event, as Foley fell from the top of the cell and crashed through the announcer’s table below, The Undertaker was struck by a moment of sheer panic.

He recalled watching Foley’s fall in what felt like slow motion, fearing that he had caused serious injury or worse.

The Aftermath and Unexpected Challenges

Following the fall, the match continued, and The Undertaker soon realized that the night’s challenges were far from over.

Another memorable moment occurred when Foley was chokeslammed through the cage, a spot that was not planned to be as brutal as it turned out.

The structure of the cage gave way more than anticipated, leading to Foley falling into the ring, which added to the match’s already high level of intensity.

Vince McMahon Health: Attorney Reacts to Rumors and Speculation

Vince McMahon, long known for his dedication to bodybuilding and fitness well into his senior years, has recently been the subject of speculation regarding his health. YouTuber Lee Cole has claimed that McMahon’s health is rapidly declining, citing sources close to him, including his ex-wife, Linda McMahon. However, these rumors have been firmly denied by McMahon’s attorney.

Claims of Declining Health

On August 15, 2024, YouTuber Lee Cole posted a video alleging that Vince McMahon’s health was rapidly declining. According to Cole, this information came from a mutual acquaintance of both him and Linda McMahon, causing widespread concern among wrestling fans and media outlets.

Cole, a well-known critic of McMahon, claimed that he even received legal threats after discussing McMahon’s health publicly, further fueling the speculation.

Official Response from Vince McMahon’s Attorney

In response to these claims, Vince McMahon’s attorney, Jessica Rosenberg, issued a statement to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and John Pollock of POST Wrestling, firmly denying the rumors.

“Vince’s health is fine,” Rosenberg stated, adding that they were unsure of the source of these baseless rumors but wanted to make it clear that they were entirely false. This official statement was intended to quell the growing speculation about McMahon’s condition.

Recent Health Concerns and Public Appearances

While it’s true that McMahon underwent spinal surgery in July 2023, which temporarily required him to use a cane, there have been no signs of any ongoing health issues.

McMahon’s most recent public appearance was in January 2024 at the New York Stock Exchange, where he was seen alongside TKO executives. During this appearance, he looked healthy and displayed no signs of physical decline.

Legal Battles, Future Outlook

Currently, McMahon is entangled in a legal battle over sexual assault allegations made by former WWE employee Janel Grant.

Despite stepping down from his roles in WWE and selling his remaining TKO stock in April 2024, McMahon continues to make headlines, whether due to his legal troubles or ongoing public interest in his personal life.

Greatest Bryan Danielson AEW Matches (Ranked): The Final Countdown

As Bryan Danielson is set to challenge for the AEW Championship at All In on Sunday, August 25th, it could be the last match of his legendary pro wrestling career.

Danielson has done it all, ranging from his initial runs on the independent scenes in the US and Europe (including Butlins in England), incredible time in Ring of Honor, underdog rise to the top in WWE to his sensational run in AEW.

Here, we’ll be going over the greatest matches in Bryan Danielson’s AEW career thus far which again could come to an end at All In 2024.

6. Bryan Danielson vs Adam Page (AEW Dynamite: 01/05/2022)

After their initial time limit draw, Bryan Danielson and Adam Page faced off again in a bloody, hard-hitting rematch. The intensity was palpable as both wrestlers pushed each other to the limit. This time, Page managed to overcome Danielson, marking a significant victory in his own AEW career to that point.

5. Bryan Danielson vs Zack Sabre Jr (AEW WrestleDream 2023)

In a technical masterpiece, Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr put on a clinic of submission-based grappling, transitions, and mat wrestling. The match captivated the audience at WrestleDream with its intricate exchanges, proving that technical prowess can be as thrilling as high-flying action if done right.

4. Bryan Danielson vs Kenny Omega (AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2021)

Danielson’s AEW debut against Kenny Omega was nothing short of spectacular. Despite the match ending in a draw, the electric atmosphere and high-level technical wrestling made it an instant classic that left the door open for a rematch.

The crowd’s energy elevated the match, making it one of the most memorable in AEW history.

3. Bryan Danielson vs Adam Page (AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming 2021)

In their first encounter, Danielson and Page wrestled to a thrilling 60-minute time limit draw.

The match was a showcase of Danielson’s ability to play a heel and Page’s resilience as the top babyface champion. The non-stop action kept fans engaged throughout, solidifying it as one of the best matches in all of pro wrestling in 2021.

2. Bryan Danielson vs MJF (AEW Revolution 2023)

Danielson’s Iron Man match against MJF was a true masterpiece of storytelling between the older veteran and, quite frankly, young veteran.

Lasting over an hour, the match kept the audience on the edge of their seats with its relentless pace and dramatic near-falls.

MJF’s performance proved he’s not just a great talker but also one of the best in-ring workers in All Elite, making this match an unforgettable highlight in AEW history.

1. Bryan Danielson vs Will Ospreay (AEW Dynasty 2024)

This match between two of the world’s best wrestlers was a high-impact, fast-paced showdown and one of the greatest of the modern era, and that is why it tops our list.

The chemistry between Danielson and Ospreay was undeniable, with both men delivering jaw-dropping performances. Despite the controversial finish, the match is considered one of the finest in Danielson’s career.

AEW All In 2024 Matches Ranked by Hype Levels

As AEW’s biggest event of the year approaches from Wembley Stadium in London, England, on August 25th, fans are eagerly anticipating what could be the best PPV of All Elite’s entire year.

AEW All In 2024 is building into an electrifying card with some of the most highly anticipated matches in recent history. Here’s a look at the matches, ranked by their hype levels.

AEW All In Confirmed Matches

Bryan Danielson vs. Swerve Strickland – AEW World Championship Match

Hype Level: Sky-High

AEW All In 2024 Swerve vs Danielson
Image Copyright: AEW

The main event between Bryan Danielson and Swerve Strickland is undeniably the most anticipated match on the card. With Danielson announcing his retirement if he loses, the stakes couldn’t be higher. This storyline has captivated fans, making it the emotional centerpiece of All In 2024 and potentially the sendoff of one of the greatest to ever do it.

Toni Storm vs Mariah May – AEW Women’s Championship Match

Hype Level: Sky High

AEW All In 2024 Toni Storm vs Mariah May
Image Copyright: AEW

The feud between “Timeless” Toni Storm and Mariah May is being hailed as one of the best-built rivalries in AEW history, and for good reason. This match has the potential to elevate both women, particularly May, who will be wrestling in front of a hometown crowd but likely to be booed against the extravagant and beloved Storm. This match has been built for a long time and we can’t wait to see it.

MJF vs. Will Ospreay – AEW United States Championship Match

Hype Level: High

AEW American Championship

The feud between MJF and Will Ospreay is one of the most talked-about matchups heading into All In 2024. Their rivalry has been brewing for months, and the recent developments at the RevPro at York Hall have only intensified the anticipation after Maxwell put a beating on Ospreay’s friend Michael Oku. This match is expected to be a hard-hitting and emotionally charged battle, with both men having a lot to prove on AEW’s biggest stage.

Mercedes Moné (c) (with Kamille) vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. – TBS Championship Match

Hype Level: Moderate

AEW All In 2024 Mercedes Mone vs Dr Britt Baker
Image Copyright: AEW

This SHOULD be a great match between two of the best performers in All Elite, but the build has been bizarre. The backstage heat between Baker and MJF seems to have caused more uproar than the actual feud on television itself, and Mone’s recent promos have not gone down well with fans. This could steal the show, but it could also just be another match. The crowd will be a big factor in how well this goes, but unfortunately right now it’s just kind of…there?

Orange Cassidy or Roderick Strong or Kyle O’Reilly vs. TBA – Casino Gauntlet match for a future AEW World Championship match

Hype Level: Low

All three currently confirmed talents in this match are great and this should be a good match on the PPV, but it does feel like it could’ve taken place on a random Dynamite, so the hype level just isn’t there for us.

The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne) (c) (with Mother Wayne) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn) vs. House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews)

Hype Level: Low

Whilst this could easily be a good match on the card, it could’ve been saved for a special episode of Dynamite. All three teams have been solid on television over the last few months, but this isn’t going to be one of the featured matches on the card. Hopefully, they can surprise us and pull off something great.

Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway vs. Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii

Hype Level: Low

Willow Nightingale is one of the best babyfaces that AEW has, period, and Kris Statlander is great in her role as the friend who betrayed the sweet and innocent all-conquering star. Stokely Hathaway deserves comeuppance and he has proven that he can antagonise a crowd at the top; Tomohiro Ishii is a legend and more than worthy of being on this card. But does this match have any hype at all? No. Zero. It’s a real shame because more could’ve been done with this, but the pay off of seeing Willow and Ishii getting their hands on Statlander and Stokely isn’t going to be anything more than an “ok that happened” on a massive card.

AEW All In Expected Matches

Kazuchika Okada vs. Claudio Castagnoli – AEW Continental Championship

Hype Level: High if it does get confirmed

Kazuchika Okada defending the AEW Continental Championship against Claudio Castagnoli is another match that would fans on the edge of their seats. The face-off between these two wrestling titans has been brewing, and their hopefully impending clash is set to be a technical masterpiece in Wembley. This is easily a dark horse for match of the weekend if it does take place.

Chris Jericho vs. Hook – FTW Championship

Hype Level: Not major

Jericho vs Hook will likely be added to the card in the coming weeks, but the storyline between them has fallen flat. Although the ‘Learning Tree’ gimmick has brought flashes of the glory years of Jericho back to television, it hasn’t done much at all for Hook and he is still languishing.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Hangman Page

Hype Level: High if it does get confirmed

Considering what Jeff Jarrett has done in his career he more than deserves a match of this magnitude at Wembley. The contest isn’t confirmed, but we think there’s a good chance it will be added and be a great brawl on PPV.

The Young Bucks vs. FTR vs. The Acclaimed – AEW Tag Team Championship

Hype Level: Approaching High if it does get confirmed

The AEW Tag Team Championship match at All In is expected to be a triple threat between The Young Bucks, FTR, and The Acclaimed. This match has all the ingredients to steal the show, with three of AEW’s top teams vying for the titles.

Current AEW Champions: AEW World Title, TNT, TBS, Women’s World Title and more

AEW/All Elite Wrestling has had numerous Championships created and brought to television since the company’s inception in 2019, but who are the current champs?

Here’s an overview of the current AEW champions, including those holding the AEW World Title, TNT Title, TBS Title, and more.

Current AEW Singles Champions

AEW World Championship

The AEW World Championship is the pinnacle of AEW’s men’s division. Swerve Strickland is the current champion, holding the title since April 21, 2024, when he defeated Samoa Joe at the Dynasty event in St. Louis, Missouri. This marks Strickland’s first reign as AEW World Champion.

AEW TNT Championship

The TNT Championship, AEW’s secondary men’s title, is currently held by Jack Perry. He captured the title on June 30, 2024, at the Forbidden Door event in Elmont, New York, winning a ladder match against multiple competitors after the title was vacated due to an injury to the previous champion, Adam Copeland.

AEW International (American) Championship

Originally known as the AEW International Championship, this title was unofficially rebranded as the AEW American Championship by its current holder, MJF.

MJF won the title on July 17, 2024, defeating Will Ospreay at Dynamite 250 in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

AEW Continental Championship

Kazuchika Okada is the reigning AEW Continental Champion, having won the title on March 20, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario, by defeating Eddie Kingston. This title is defended under unique “Continental Rules,” emphasizing strict adherence to wrestling regulations.

AEW Women’s World Championship

In the women’s division, the AEW Women’s World Championship is held by “Timeless” Toni Storm. Storm secured her record-tying third reign by defeating Hikaru Shida at Full Gear on November 18, 2023, in Inglewood, California.

AEW TBS Championship

The AEW TBS Championship, a secondary title in the women’s division, is currently held by Mercedes Moné. Moné won the title on May 26, 2024, at Double or Nothing, overcoming Willow Nightingale in Paradise, Nevada.

Current AEW Tag Team Champions

AEW World Tag Team Championship

The AEW World Tag Team Championship is held by The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson). They are in their record third reign after winning the titles on April 21, 2024, at the Dynasty event by defeating FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) in a Ladder match, which was the final of a tournament for the vacant title.

The titles were vacated after Sting’s retirement led to the former champions, Sting and Darby Allin, relinquishing the belts.

AEW World Trios Championship

The AEW World Trios Championship, a title contested by teams of three wrestlers, is held by The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne).

They won the titles on July 20, 2024, by defeating The Bang Bang Gang on the Collision episode after the previous champions were stripped due to an injury to Jay White.

Bobby Lashley AEW: Top 3 Matches We Need To See

As Bobby Lashley’s time in WWE appearing to be nearing its end, the wrestling world buzzes with speculation about his next move.

Many believe the “All Mighty” will head to AEW, including those supposedly close to the former WWE and ECW Champion.

Here are the top three matches we need to see if Lashley makes the jump to AEW.

1. Bobby Lashley vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

A Battle of Behemoths

Powerhouse Hobbs has long been touted as a future AEW World Champion. A match against Bobby Lashley would not only be a hard-hitting affair but could also serve as a major turning point in Hobbs’ career.

Hobbs, who has been struggling with creative direction in AEW, could find new momentum by facing a decorated veteran like Lashley.

This clash could also potentially set the stage for faction warfare, especially if Lashley reunites with MVP and Shelton Benjamin in AEW, creating an intense rivalry with the Don Callis Family.

2. Bobby Lashley vs. Swerve Strickland

A Clash of Styles

Swerve Strickland is one of AEW’s most dynamic and unpredictable talents. His innovative in-ring style would mesh well with Lashley’s power and aggression, making for a compelling match between the ropes.

The contrast between Strickland’s agility and Lashley’s brute strength could create a unique showdown that highlights both competitors.

A win for either man would solidify their position in AEW’s hierarchy, making this a must-see encounter, likely after Swerve has lost the AEW Championship.

3. Bobby Lashley vs. Darby Allin

The Ultimate Underdog Story

Darby Allin has made a career out of defying the odds, and a match against Bobby Lashley would be the ultimate underdog story.

Lashley’s overwhelming power against Allin’s resilience and never-say-die attitude would tell a captivating story in the ring.

Allin attempting to survive the onslaught of one of wrestling’s most physically imposing figures could establish Lashley as a threat in All Elite early on and this match could easily become one of AEW’s most memorable David vs. Goliath encounters.

AEW World Champions Ranked: CM Punk, Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, and More

AEW has had eight World Champions in the company’s history. From 2019 to now, there have been some big names holding the World Championship at the pinnacle of All Elite Wrestling, but who is the best and who is the worst?

Here, we rank seven of the Champions up to Swerve Strickland, as it is unfair to rank his run fairly yet until it has finished. So, here are the AEW World Champions ranked from worst to best.

AEW Champs Ranked

7. CM Punk: A Controversial Reign

cm punk aew all in 1

Number of Reigns: 2
Combined Length of Reigns: 90 days
Best Defense: vs Jon Moxley, All Out 2022

CM Punk’s time as AEW World Champion was marked by both triumph and turmoil. His return to wrestling was highly anticipated, but injuries and backstage drama cut his reign at the top of AEW short. Despite the controversies, his feud and subsequent match with Jon Moxley at All Out remains a highlight of his run in the company.

6. Samoa Joe: A Dominant Presence

samoa joe aew worlds end 1

Number of Reigns: 1
Combined Length of Reigns: 113 days
Best Defense: vs Adam Page and Swerve Strickland, Revolution 2024

Samoa Joe’s reign, though brief, was impactful. His matches were intense, and his promo work remained solid at a time that the company really needed at the time.

5. ‘Hangman’ Adam Page: The Anxious Millennial Cowboy

 Hangman Adam Page

Number of Reigns: 1
Combined Length of Reigns: 197 days
Best Defense: vs Bryan Danielson, Winter is Coming 2021

Adam Page’s journey to the top was a story of perseverance and his victory over Kenny Omega was a defining moment for AEW.

However, his reign was somewhat overshadowed by the issues stemming from his on and off screen issues with CM Punk.

4. MJF: The Reign of a Heel

MJF won the AEW championship at Full Gear last November

Number of Reigns: 1
Combined Length of Reigns: 406 days
Best Defense: vs Bryan Danielson, Revolution 2023

MJF is the longest-reigning champion in AEW history as of writing, known for his cutting promos and psychological warfare against his challengers.

His reign featured some of the best matches in AEW to date, including an epic Iron Man match against Danielson.

3. Chris Jericho: The Inaugural Champion

Chris Jericho
AEW World Champion Chris Jericho

Number of Reigns: 1
Combined Length of Reigns: 182 days
Best Defense: vs Cody, Full Gear 2019

Chris Jericho was the first AEW World Champion, bringing legitimacy and star power to the-then brand new title.

His reign laid the foundation for AEW’s success, though his popularity has waned in recent years due to backstage allegations and claims from some fans of him being a “talent vortex” and stopping the pushes of young talents.

2. Kenny Omega: The Best Bout Machine

Kenny Omega
AEW World Champion Kenny Omega

Number of Reigns: 1
Combined Length of Reigns: 346 days
Best Defense: vs Orange Cassidy and PAC, Double or Nothing 2021

Kenny Omega’s reign is often considered the pinnacle of AEW’s success so far and the most exceptional that the in-ring product has been.

His run as champion included some of the most memorable matches in the company’s history, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest AEW World Champions to date.

1. Jon Moxley: The Ace of AEW

Jon Moxley
(via AEW)

Number of Reigns: 3
Combined Length of Reigns: 347 days
Best Defense: vs Mr. Brodie Lee, Double or Nothing 2020

Despite Omega having such an incredible run, Jon Moxley has been AEW’s go-to champion in times of crisis, holding the title a record three times.

His gritty, hardcore style and fierce rivalries have made him a cornerstone of the promotion, and he has to be considered the greatest top title holder they have had thus far in the company.

Kevin Sullivan: Everything You Need to Know About the WCW Legend

Kevin Sullivan left an indelible mark on the pro wrestling industry through his in-ring performances and his role behind the scenes as a booker.

Known for his dark, occult-inspired gimmicks and intense feuds, Sullivan was a key player in the wrestling world, particularly during his time in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). This article explores his storied career and lasting legacy.

Early Life and Wrestling Beginnings

Born Kevin Francis Sullivan on October 26, 1949, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Sullivan started his wrestling journey in 1970.

He initially competed in various National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) territories across the United States.

Standing at 5’9″ and weighing around 250 pounds, Sullivan was not the largest wrestler, but he compensated with his ferocity and character work.

The “Prince of Darkness” in Championship Wrestling from Florida

Sullivan truly began to make waves in the wrestling world during his time with Championship Wrestling from Florida (CWF) from 1982 to 1987.

It was here that he developed the “Prince of Darkness” persona, a gimmick that played into the 1980s Satanic Panic.

Adopting the role of a cult leader, Sullivan’s character was steeped in mysticism and the occult, making him one of the most intriguing heels of the era.

His “Army of Darkness” stable, which included wrestlers like “Maniac” Mark Lewin, Luna Vachon, and Bob Roop, was infamous for its eerie promos and intense rivalries with the likes of Dusty Rhodes and Barry Windham.

WCW and the Dungeon of Doom

In 1987, Sullivan joined Jim Crockett Promotions, which would later become World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Here, he formed The Varsity Club, a stable that included Mike Rotunda and Rick Steiner. However, Sullivan’s most memorable contribution to WCW was the creation of the Dungeon of Doom.

This faction, which included notable wrestlers like The Giant (Big Show) and The Barbarian, was formed with one goal in mind: to destroy Hulk Hogan and the legend of Hulkamania.

The Dungeon of Doom was involved in some of WCW’s most famous storylines of the mid-90s, including the WarGames match at Fall Brawl 1995.

Sullivan’s influence extended beyond his in-ring persona. He became a pivotal figure in WCW’s booking team, particularly during the Monday Night Wars.

His booking style was known for its unpredictability and willingness to push boundaries. In 2000, he was promoted to head booker of WCW, a role that placed him at the center of several controversies, most notably his professional rivalry with Chris Benoit, who had an affair with Sullivan’s then-wife, Nancy (known in the ring as Woman).

Retirement and Later Years

After losing a retirement match to Chris Benoit at Bash at the Beach in 1997, Sullivan shifted his focus entirely to booking and behind-the-scenes roles.

He continued to work in various capacities for WCW until its eventual sale in 2001. Post-WCW, Sullivan remained active in the wrestling world, working in independent promotions and making sporadic appearances.

He also co-hosted a podcast, “Kevin Sullivan’s Helluva Deal,” which gave fans insight into the mind of one of wrestling’s most creative bookers.

Kevin Sullivan’s Legacy and Passing

Kevin Sullivan’s legacy in professional wrestling is one of innovation and intensity. His work as a heel wrestler and booker left a lasting impact on the industry, influencing how characters and storylines were developed.

Sullivan passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 74, after dealing with health issues stemming from an accident earlier that year. His death was mourned by fans and colleagues alike, marking the end of an era in professional wrestling.

How Many Times Has Seth Rollins Been Injured in WWE?

Seth Rollins has been a WWE main eventer for quite some time, but his run at the top has been hampered by several major injuries during his illustrious career. Such issues have meant that Rollins has missed out on major PPV events, including WrestleMania and Royal Rumble shows in the past.

We’ll be looking at Rollins’ injury history here, including his most recent issue in August 2024 where he needed to be written off of television.

Major Injuries in Seth Rollins’ Career

Seth Rollins has suffered multiple injuries throughout his wrestling career, but a few stand out due to their severity and impact on his time in WWE.

Torn ACL, MCL, and Medial Meniscus (2015)

One of the most severe injuries in Rollins’ career occurred in November 2015 during a match against Kane at a WWE live event in Dublin, Ireland.

Rollins attempted a sunset flip powerbomb, but the landing caused his knee to buckle, resulting in a torn ACL, MCL, and medial meniscus.

This injury was devastating, as it required surgery and forced Rollins to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The injury kept him out of action for approximately six to nine months, sidelining him from the main event of WrestleMania 32, where he was expected to play a major role.

Re-Injury and Subsequent Surgery (2016)

Shortly after his return in 2016, Rollins reinjured his knee during a match with Samoa Joe. While the injury was not as severe as the previous one, it still required him to take some time off and undergo minor surgery.

This re-injury raised concerns about the longevity of his career, given the intense physical demands of professional wrestling.

However, Rollins worked diligently to recover and made a triumphant return to WWE television, solidifying his status as one of the company’s top stars.

Lower Back Issues (2018)

In 2018, Rollins began experiencing lower back problems, which were likely exacerbated by years of intense physical activity and high-risk maneuvers.

Although this issue did not lead to a prolonged absence, it did cause Rollins to modify his in-ring style to some extent, focusing more on mat-based wrestling and less on high-flying.

This adjustment helped him maintain his status as a top performer while reducing the risk of further injury.

MCL Injury in January 2024

In January 2024, Seth Rollins suffered a significant MCL injury during a match on WWE RAW.

The incident occurred when Rollins took a bad landing, leading to a partial tear of his medial collateral ligament (MCL).

Despite the severity of the injury, Rollins chose to continue performing, albeit with a reduced in-ring schedule.

The decision to manage the injury conservatively allowed him to avoid surgery, but it did impact his performance throughout the early part of the year.

Latest Injury in August 2024

In August 2024, Seth Rollins sustained another serious injury during an on-screen attack by Bronson Reed on WWE RAW.

This storyline injury, however, masked a real and underlying issue Rollins had been dealing with—persistent lower back pain.

WWE used the angle to write Rollins off television, giving him time to recover from his ongoing back issues.

This injury has raised concerns about his long-term health and his future in the ring, though details on his recovery timeline remain unclear as of writing.

The Rock vs Roman Reigns Prediction: When Will the Match Happen?

The anticipation for a potential showdown between The Rock and Roman Reigns has been building for years, but when could it happen?

With rumors and speculations consistently swirling as to when we will finally see the “Biggest Match in WWE History,” we look at the landscape of the company and when WWE may pull the trigger on his monumental clash.

The Rock vs Roman Reigns: WrestleMania 41?

Background on The Rock and Roman Reigns Feud

Roman Reigns, the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief and leader of the Samoan Dynasty, has dominated the main event scene for years.

His reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion saw him overcome numerous challengers until his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL.

The return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to WWE earlier this year ignited new tensions for The Bloodline, and The Rock’s unexpected appearance and challenge to Reigns’ claim as the Head of the Table, before the company decided to pivot, means that there is still a story to tell down the line.

Predictions for WrestleMania 41

Will The Rock vs Roman Reigns Happen?

The likelihood of The Rock and Roman Reigns headlining WrestleMania 41 is pretty high, especially as it will be the first-ever WrestleMania on Netflix.

As noted, the match was initially planned for WrestleMania 40, but WWE pivoted due to fan support for Cody Rhodes.

However, the storyline between The Rock and Reigns is far from over, and WrestleMania 41 offers the perfect stage for this blockbuster bout, considering that The Great One has a fantastic working relationship with Netflix and they will be keen to make the first ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ on the streaming platform as massive as possible.

Hopefully we’ll get more of a sense of when this match could take place in the coming months, but ‘Mania 41 would make the perfect battleground for the final Bloodline encounter.

The Bloodline Civil War: WWE Timeline

The Bloodline, the most dominant wrestling stable in WWE, has been a tour de force on the SmackDown brand since its formation in 2021. The group, primarily composed of members from the Anoa’i family, has seen numerous internal conflicts, culminating in what is now becoming the “Bloodline Civil War.”

This timeline explores the key events leading up to and during this tumultuous period, including the formation of the group and the creation of Bloodline 2.0.

Formation of The Bloodline (2020–2021)

The Return of Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2020 after a five-month hiatus, aligning himself with Paul Heyman.

This marked the beginning of his heel turn and the establishment of his character as the “Tribal Chief.”

Reigns vs. The Usos

Reigns’ first major feud was against his cousins, Jey and Jimmy Uso. At Clash of Champions 2020, Reigns defeated Jey, establishing his dominance and forcing Jey to acknowledge him as the head of the family.

This storyline continued with a Hell in a Cell match at the eponymous event, where Jey again lost to Reigns.

The Bloodline’s Official Formation

In October 2020, Jey Uso aligned with Reigns, officially forming The Bloodline.

Jimmy Uso joined the group in May 2021, after recovering from an injury, despite initial reluctance. This solidified The Bloodline as a dominant faction in WWE.

The Bloodline’s Dominance (2021–2022)

Championship Reigns

Reigns’ reign as the Universal Champion began at Payback 2020 and continued through 2022, making him one of the longest-reigning champions in WWE history.

The Usos also captured the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, further cementing the group’s dominance.

Sami Zayn’s Inclusion

In 2022, Sami Zayn began aligning himself with The Bloodline, eventually becoming an honorary member.

His inclusion added an intriguing dynamic to the group, especially with his initial struggles to gain full acceptance.

The Bloodline Civil War (2023–2024)

Dissension Begins

Tensions within The Bloodline started to surface in late 2022 and early 2023.

At the Royal Rumble 2023, Zayn turned on Reigns, signaling the beginning of internal conflicts. Jey Uso’s loyalty wavered, and he walked out during the group’s attack on Zayn.

WrestleMania 39 and Aftermath

At WrestleMania 39, The Usos lost their tag team titles to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Reigns retained his title against Cody Rhodes with help from Solo Sikoa, adding to the group’s internal tension with gold now not around the waist of nearly every member.

The Usos’ Betrayal

The Usos’ discontent culminated at Night of Champions 2023 when Jimmy Uso attacked Reigns, costing him and Sikoa the tag team titles.

This act of defiance marked the official start of the Bloodline Civil War.

The Bloodline Splits

In June 2023, Jey Uso sided with his brother Jimmy, effectively leaving The Bloodline.

This led to a match at Money in the Bank 2023, where The Usos defeated Reigns and Sikoa, handing Reigns his first pinfall loss in over three years.

The Rock’s Temporary Alliance

The Bloodline briefly reformed somewhat with The Rock joining the group in February 2024.

However, this was short-lived as both Reigns and The Rock took hiatuses following WrestleMania XL, where Reigns lost his titles to Cody Rhodes.

Sikoa’s Leadership (2024–Present)

The New Bloodline

With Reigns and The Rock on hiatus, Solo Sikoa assumed leadership of The Bloodline.

The group saw new members, including Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, joining forces under Sikoa’s command.

Continued Rivalries

The new iteration of The Bloodline has continued to engage in high-profile feuds, including rekindling rivalries with Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes.

Judgment Day WWE Timeline: Formation, Edge, Dominik Mysterio, Betrayals & More

Since its inception at WrestleMania 38 in 2022, The Judgment Day has seen dramatic shifts, from its dark, supernatural beginnings under Edge to its transformation into a powerhouse group characterized by championship victories and shocking betrayals.

This timeline explores the key events that have shaped The Judgment Day, highlighting the major plot twists and character developments that have kept WWE fans on the edge of their seats.

Judgment Day Formation and Edge’s Leadership (2022)

The Judgment Day, a professional wrestling stable, was founded by Edge on April 3, 2022, during WrestleMania 38.

The group initially featured a supernatural/dark gothic theme, with Damian Priest as the first member to join Edge, followed by Rhea Ripley.

Their debut match saw Edge defeating AJ Styles, with interference from Priest, setting the tone for their early dominance.

Removing Edge and Adding Finn Bálor

On June 6, 2022, Finn Bálor joined The Judgment Day, and in a shocking turn of events, Bálor, Priest, and Ripley ousted Edge from the group.

This marked a significant shift in the group’s dynamics, moving away from supernatural elements to a more grounded, rebellious image.

Addition of Dominik Mysterio (2022)

The Judgment Day’s next major storyline involved a feud with Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik.

At Clash at the Castle on September 5, 2022, Dominik turned heel for the first time in his career by attacking Edge and Rey, subsequently joining The Judgment Day.

This betrayal added a new layer of intrigue and familial conflict to the stable’s narrative, and would revitalize a group that was starting to feel stagnant.

Quest for Gold (2023)

Throughout 2023, The Judgment Day focused on acquiring championships. Rhea Ripley won the Women’s Royal Rumble match and subsequently the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39.

Dominik Mysterio also made his mark by winning the NXT North American Championship. Meanwhile, Damian Priest and Finn Bálor, as a tag team, sought to capture the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Championship Reigns (2023–2024)

The Judgment Day achieved significant milestones, holding titles across WWE’s three brands.

Notably, Ripley became the Women’s World Champion, and Priest won the Money in the Bank contract.

In 2024, at Payback, Bálor and Priest captured the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, solidifying their dominance.

JD McDonagh Joins The Judgment Day

JD McDonagh, initially an associate, officially joined The Judgment Day on November 13, 2023.

McDonagh’s alliance with Finn Bálor, his real-life mentor, and the rest of the stable helped to bolster their ranks and contributed to their continued dominance in WWE.

Dissension and Betrayals (2024–Present)

Internal conflicts began surfacing in mid-2024. Tensions between Bálor and Priest were evident, leading to crucial matches and interference issues.

At SummerSlam on August 3, 2024, Dominik Mysterio betrayed Ripley, aligning with Liv Morgan. This betrayal was followed by Finn Bálor turning on Priest.

New Champions, New Era

Bron Breakker emerged victorious over Sami Zayn to claim the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. Fans can look forward to Breakker celebrating his win and possibly setting the stage for his first title defense Bash in Berlin later this month.

One of the most notable moments from SummerSlam was Gunther capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. The Ring General’s victory was marred by Finn Balor’s betrayal of Damian Priest, causing a seismic shift within The Judgment Day faction and continuing the almost inevitable breakup.

Gunther is scheduled to appear live on RAW, likely to assert his dominance and address his plans as the new champion ahead of Bash in Berlin.

WWE Bash in Berlin Card Predictions: GUNTHER, Rhea Ripley & More

The Judgment Day’s Implosion

WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 Card Predictions: GUNTHER, Rhea Ripley, Ilja Dragunov and more

WWE Bash in Berlin is set to be the company’s first Premium Live Event to take place from Germany, but what could the card be?

Taking into consideration what happened at SummerSlam, we’ll be taking a look at the landscape of the company and what matches we believe that the company will be booking for their first-ever PLE from Uber Arena in Berlin.

WWE SummerSlam 2024 Recap

Before looking at what we believe will happen at Bash in Berlin, it’s worth just recapping the events from SummerSlam:

  • Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa.
  • GUNTHER captured the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest.
  • Drew McIntyre triumphed over CM Punk with Seth Rollins as the guest referee.

WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 Predicted Matches

World Heavyweight Championship Match: GUNTHER vs. Drew McIntyre

GUNTHER, fresh off his victory over Damian Priest, will likely defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre’s win over CM Punk at SummerSlam sets him up as a formidable challenger, and if they are going to be in the Hell in a Cell structure at Bad Blood (which we’re predicting), then he will probably need to interfere here to set up that blow off match.

WWE Women’s Championship Match: Nia Jax vs. Michin

Nia Jax begins her reign as WWE Women’s Champion by facing a fresh challenger, Michin.

With Michin’s impressive performances on NXT and SmackDown recently, she emerges as a strong option for Jax’s first challenger.

This match offers a fresh dynamic while keeping the door open for a potential rematch between Jax and Bayley at Bad Blood.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton vs. The Bloodline

Cody Rhodes continues his feud with The Bloodline, teaming up with Randy Orton to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

We could easily see Randy turning on Cody here, setting up a future match between them and a potential program between now and the Royal Rumble.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Bron Breakker vs. Ilja Dragunov

Bron Breakker, the new Intercontinental Champion, will likely face Ilja Dragunov.

Considering Dragunov’s history in Germany with the wXw promotion and his involvement in the Sami Zayn/Breakker feud, this makes all of the sense in the world and needs to happen.

Mixed Tag Team Match: Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley vs. Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan

Following the shocking betrayals within The Judgment Day at SummerSlam, we think that Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley will seek revenge against Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan.

Getting this match on the card could then set up two singles matches between Balor/Priest and Morgan/Ripley at Bad Blood, with the women’s match potentially being in the HIAC.

We will check back when the WWE Bash in Berlin match card is finalized and will grade our own predictions.
