Main Roster

Ripley made her main roster debut on Raw in March 2021, challenging Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 37.

For iOS Devices

  • Open the App Store: Unlock your iPhone or iPad and open the App Store application.

WWE 2K25: News, Rumors, Potential Release Date, Roster Predictions and More

WWE 2K25 is already generating buzz among wrestling and gaming fans following the immense success of WWE 2K24. Expectations are high for the next instalment in the franchise, with 2K Games hoping to take the hot streak of current WWE programming and translate that to gaming consoles and PC.

Here’s a comprehensive look at the latest news, rumors, potential release date, and roster predictions for WWE 2K25 right now:

News

The development of WWE 2K25 is reportedly well underway. Following the positive reception of WWE 2K24, 2K Games and Visual Concepts are focused on continuing to improve the series. According to a report by WrestleTalk, WWE 2K25’s development has started with the aim of refining the gaming experience even further. The team behind the game is likely looking to build on the innovative changes introduced in WWE 2K22 and further enhanced in WWE 2K23 and WWE 2K24.

Rumors

There are several rumors surrounding WWE 2K25, and one of the most intriguing is the potential for new gameplay features and match types.

Fans have been vocal about wanting more variety and realism in match stipulations, and hopefully the developers are listening.

One rumor suggests that WWE 2K25 will have an even more extensive roster than its predecessor, possibly including several legends and new superstars who have made an impact over the past year. Names like Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are all pretty much dead certs for the 2K25 roster, considering their massive impact since debuting in 2024 with The Bloodline.

It’s worth noting of course that these rumors are just that, rumors, and won’t be confirmed until closer to the release of the game itself.

Potential Release Date

When can fans expect WWE 2K25 to hit the shelves? According to a report from EssentiallySports, Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of 2K Games, has confirmed that WWE 2K25 is scheduled for release in Fiscal 2025.

This timeline suggests that the game will likely be released between March and April, 2025.

Historically, WWE 2K games have been released in March, aligning with the hype of WrestleMania season, so we expect similar timeframe for WWE 2K25.

As you’ve probably guessed from the featured image of this article, we believe that Rhea Ripley will be the cover star for WWE 2K25, considering her massive popularity right now which is only likely to grow heading into 2025 and WrestleMania 41 season.

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre Timeline: Everything you need to know before WWE SummerSlam

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre is an unlikely feud that has turned into one of the most engaging elements of WWE RAW over 2024, with both men blurring the lines of kayfabe and reality to build to their massive match at SummerSlam.

If you haven’t had a chance to watch every second of this big feud, then we’ve got you covered with this guide on the timeline of events that has led to SummerSlam 2024.

The Beginning: CM Punk’s Injury

CM Punk’s Return and Injury

CM Punk made a triumphant return to WWE in late November 2023, sparking excitement among fans as it felt like that something that would never come to pass, especially after his backstage issues in AEW.

However, during the Royal Rumble in January 2024, Drew McIntyre hit a Futureshock DDT that resulted in Punk suffering a torn triceps. This injury sidelined Punk but also sowed the seeds for the feud, which had somewhat started in December 2023 when McIntyre alluded to there being potential backstage upset at RAW if Punk signed with the show, saying that he should go to SmackDown instead.

Drew McIntyre’s Reaction

Following Punk’s injury, McIntyre didn’t hold back his disdain. On RAW, McIntyre infamously stated, “I prayed for this and it happened,” adding fuel to the fire of the feud that many weren’t expecting to see as part of Punk’s return.

His then attack on Punk’s injured arm solidified him as a top heel on RAW and gave Punk a reason to be off television to rehab his injury.

WrestleMania 40: The Turning Point

The rivalry reached new heights at WrestleMania 40. With Punk unable to compete due to his injury, McIntyre took the “opportunity” to step into the World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins, which many expected to be Punk’s role before his injury in January.

Despite his injury, Punk somewhat inserted himself into the match by taking up a position at the commentary table. As McIntyre celebrated after taking the win against Seth Rollins, Punk struck.

Punk’s interference caused enough of a distraction to McIntyre to allow Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, who then beat Drew and robbed him of his World Championship moment in front of fans at a WrestleMania for the very first time.

McIntyre, who had walked the line between hero and villain up to that point, began a descent into a darker, more obsessive character.

Clash at the Castle: A Homecoming Spoiled

The next chapter in their saga unfolded at Clash at the Castle in Scotland, the Premium Live Event that took place in McIntyre’s home country.

With the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line, McIntyre seemed destined to claim victory in front of his countrymen against Damian Priest, the man who cashed in on him at WrestleMania 40.

However, Punk once again proved to be McIntyre’s nemesis, interfering in the match and costing the Scottish Warrior his chance at glory.

This moment was particularly poignant in the feud, as it not only denied McIntyre a championship victory but also robbed him of a career-defining moment in front of his home crowd, much like how he was screwed against Roman Reigns at the Clash at the Castle event in Wales.

Money in the Bank: Dreams Denied AGAIN

The Money in the Bank event provided yet another moment for Punk and McIntyre’s ongoing war.

McIntyre, having earned the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase, attempted to cash in for a championship opportunity earlier in the night cashed in during the match between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins.

However, Punk emerged to ensure that McIntyre’s efforts would be in vain, and his interference meant that Damian Priest would win the now triple threat match. It wasn’t just McIntyre that was scorned though, Rollins was visibly livid at Punk costing him the match, and it would lead on to the next beat of the storyline.

What else happened in this feud?

RAW Promo Segments

Throughout Punk’s recovery period, the rivalry between the two superstars continued to simmer, largely played out through social media exchanges and sporadic appearances by Punk.

These interactions served to keep the feud fresh in the minds of fans, even in the absence of physical confrontations.

Punk used every opportunity to needle McIntyre, taunting him about his failed championship attempts and questioning his ability to succeed at the highest level of WWE.

McIntyre, in turn, became increasingly unhinged in his responses, his character evolving into that of a man consumed by his hatred for Punk.

The Blurred Lines of Reality

One of the most intriguing aspects of the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre rivalry has been its ability to blur the lines between scripted storyline and genuine animosity.

Both men have a reputation for being outspoken and unafraid to voice their true feelings, leading to speculation among fans about how much of their feud is performance and how much is rooted in actual real-life tension.

This ambiguity has added an extra layer of intrigue to their interactions, with fans scrutinizing every word and action for hints of genuine emotion.

One of the most recent moments on X/Twitter that caused a huge stir online was the involvement of Jack Perry, the man that CM Punk fought backstage at AEW All In, with McIntyre posting an image of he and Perry stood together. McIntyre would later delete the tweet, adding further to fan speculation ahead of SummerSlam.

WWE WrestleMania London: Everything We Know Right Now

WWE WrestleMania might soon grace the iconic city of London. Recent discussions between Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, have sparked excitement and anticipation among wrestling fans.

Here’s a comprehensive look at everything we know about the potential for WrestleMania to be held in London.

WWE WrestleMania London: Sadiq Khan’s Ambitious Vision

Mayor Sadiq Khan has been vocal about his ambition to make London the “sporting capital of the world.” This vision includes hosting a variety of major international sporting events, from the Super Bowl to the Olympics, and now, WWE’s WrestleMania.

Khan’s commitment to this vision was evident in his recent meeting with Triple H, where they discussed the logistics and possibilities of bringing WWE’s flagship event to London.

In an interview with the PA news agency, Khan expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m really excited to have begun conversations about bringing international WrestleMania to London. I know there are many fans in London and across the UK and Europe who are desperate to see WrestleMania live.”

WWE’s Global Expansion

WrestleMania has of course traditionally been held in North America, with 40 of the iconic shows having taken place across the United States and two in Canada.

However, WWE has been expanding its global footprint, hosting premium live events in various countries in recent years.

Recent events have taken place in Cardiff, Glasgow, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, and France. This trend indicates WWE’s willingness to explore international venues for its marquee events, making London a plausible candidate for a future WrestleMania.

WrestleMania’s Economic Impact

Hosting WrestleMania could bring significant economic benefits to London. Past events have demonstrated substantial economic impact for host cities.

For example, the Royal Rumble in St. Petersburg, Florida, generated over $47 million in economic impact, including $28 million in direct spending and nearly $3 million in taxes. Local businesses saw increases in revenue ranging from 10% to 700% compared to a typical day.

Similarly, the Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff brought over £21 million to the Welsh economy.

Given WrestleMania’s status as WWE’s largest event, it could potentially bring even greater economic benefits to London, attracting fans from across the globe and boosting local businesses.

Challenges and Considerations

While the prospects are exciting, there are challenges to consider. WWE events are typically scheduled years in advance, and the earliest available date for a London WrestleMania might be as late as 2026.

Additionally, hosting such a large-scale event requires significant financial investment, which could be a point of contention given the current economic climate.

However, the potential economic returns and the boost to London’s global profile might justify the expenditure.

As fans anticipate what could happen tonight, here’s a comprehensive look at everything that has been hinted at and what fans can expect from this year’s pay-per-view (PPV).

Major Surprises Teased

Jordynne Grace’s Bold Claims

Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace has set the bar high, promising surprises that will exceed fan expectations.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Grace emphasized the element of surprise, stating, £The surprises are going to be even bigger than people realize. TNA and NXT do surprises better than any other promotion.

“If you’re tired of accidentally reading spoilers, watch Slammiversary. Our goal is to make fans fall back in love with wrestling.”

Other Rumors

Fightful Select is reporting that Alex Hammerstone is “back on the scene,” meaning that he could be making an appearance tonight.

Fightful is also reporting that the “Digital Media Title match was set for 18 minutes, and the main event was set for 40+ as of this morning.”

Cross-Promotional Partnership with WWE NXT

The rebranding from IMPACT back to TNA revitalized the promotion although following the firing of Scott D’Amore, TNA was struggling to gain momentum. The recent working partnership with WWE NXT has completely changed the game, with NXT Superstars jumping to TNA and vice versa.

We’ll be updating this page as and when more rumors for the PPV card start appearing online!

TNA Slammiversary 2024 Predictions: Winners, Shocks and More

The highly anticipated TNA Slammiversary 2024 event is set to take place tonight at the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the outcomes of several key matches, including some major title bouts.

Here are our predictions for the winners, shocks, and more from this exciting event.

Moose vs. Joe Hendry vs. Josh Alexander vs. Nic Nemeth vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Steve Maclin

TNA World Championship Match

Moose, the current TNA Champion, has been a consistent performer and has elevated the title’s value.

However, Joe Hendry’s recent momentum suggests he is a strong contender and probably the next Champion…at some point.

While I’m predicting Moose to retain the title tonight, I’m expecting a dusty finish that sets up a future one-on-one match between Moose and Hendry, possibly at Bound for Glory.

Jordynne Grace vs. Ash By Elegance

Knockouts Championship Match

Ash By Elegance, formerly known as Dana Brooke, has undergone significant improvement since joining TNA.

Jordynne Grace, on the other hand, remains a formidable champion and one of the hottest prospects going right now in all of wrestling.

This match might serve as a stepping stone for Ash, leading to a surprising victory and initiating Grace’s pursuit to reclaim the championship later down the line.

Having said that, I’m predicting that Jordynne is going to retain the title.

Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers vs. Ace Austin and Chris Bey

TNA Tag Team Titles Match

This match could end up being the MOTN, and Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers are expected to retain their titles.

The dynamic between Austin and Bey will be tested, potentially leading to their eventual split and new story beats ahead of the upcoming TV tapings.

Mustafa Ali vs. Mike Bailey

X Division Title Match

Anticipation is high for another potential MOTN candidate. Mustafa Ali’s current run in TNA has been impressive, and despite Mike Bailey being one of the best talents that the company have right now, I’m predicting Ali to retain the X Division Title.

AJ Francis vs. PCO

Digital Media and International Heavyweight Championships Match

AJ Francis has worked hard to repackage himself after being released by WWE, and it appears his efforts could end up paying off tonight.

PCO’s recent storyline with Steph De Lander might lead to a shocking betrayal, allowing Francis to retain both titles, which is what I’m predicting.

The Rascalz vs. No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Tavion Heights, and Myles Borne)

Six-Man Tag Team Match

The collaboration between TNA and NXT continues to benefit both brands.

The Rascalz, comprising Wes Lee, Trey Miguel, and Zachary Wentz, are the favourites to defeat the No Quarter Catch Crew, which is what I’m predicting.

Mike Santana vs. Jake Something

Mike Santana is expected to win here, potentially leading to a heel turn for Jake Something.

Joe Hendry: Everything You Need To Know About the TNA and NXT Star

Joe Hendry has seen an absolutely massive jump in his career over the past few months, but what do you need to know about him?

From his humble beginnings in Edinburgh, Scotland, to becoming a prominent figure in both TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling) and now WWE’s NXT, Hendry’s journey is proof that when you hustle and work enough you can get to where you want to go.

Here, we’ll be going into the career of the Scottish star, looking at how he was able to use his musical talents to advance his career in a way

Early Wrestling Career

Joe Hendry, born on May 1, 1988, in Edinburgh, Scotland, embarked on his professional wrestling journey in 2013.

Hendry trained by notable wrestlers like Killian Dain, Mikey Whiplash, and Robbie Brookside, and he quickly made a name for himself in the UK wrestling scene.

He debuted with Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) and soon became a prominent figure, capturing the ICW Tag Team Championship alongside Davey Boy.

Hendry’s charisma led him to perform for various BritWres promotions, including New Generation Wrestling and WCPW/Defiant Wrestling.

WWE NXT

Hendry’s talent eventually caught the attention of WWE, and he has made several appearances on WWE’s NXT brand as part of the ongoing working relationship between WWE and TNA.

But, his first stint with WWE came in 2014 when he appeared in non-wrestling roles, something that a lot of indie talent does as they’re working their way up.

It wasn’t until 2024 that Hendry made a huge impact (pun absolutely intended) to NXT. Hendry made his in-ring debut in a 25-man battle royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Championship. Although he was eliminated quickly, his popularity has meant that the company keeps putting him on TV.

Joey Hendry Theme

One of Joe Hendry’s most significant achievements outside the ring is his musical career.

His entrance theme, “I Believe in Joe Hendry,” became a viral sensation, captivating fans that watch wrestling but also ‘normies’ on TikTok.

Originally crafted as a unique entrance song to make him stand out more, the track’s popularity soared on social media.

Joe Hendry UK Charts

Incredibly, fans embraced the song, leading to its rapid ascent on music charts in the United Kingdom.

“I Believe in Joe Hendry” reached number four on the UK Singles Downloads Chart and number six on the UK Singles Sales Charts, surpassing renowned artists like Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter back in May 2024.

Joe Hendry TNA Contract

In 2022, Joe Hendry made a triumphant return to TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling), then known still as IMPACT.

Initially signed to a short-term deal, Hendry’s impressive performances quickly earned him a long-term contract.

His return was marked by a match at the Bound For Glory event, and following his match at the PPV, Hendry was offered a long-term contract, solidifying his position within the company.

Whilst the exact nature of his current deal with TNA is not known, there is a lot of interest from WWE to bring him to the company when his deal is up.

7-Year-Old Fan ‘Attacks’ MJF During Crowd Brawl at AEW Dynamite 250

MJF was attacked by a fan at this week’s AEW Dynamite…granted, the “attacker” was only seven years old. As he and his opponent Will Ospreay brawled in the crowd, Ospreay prompted a young female fan to hit MJF, which prompted a middle finger in response.

The girl’s father proudly posted alternative angle of the ‘attack’ on social media:

MJF went on to win the match over Ospreay in the final seconds before the expiration of the 60-minute time limit. In doing so, MJF is the new AEW International Champion.

MJF Interacting w/Young Fans

This isn’t the first time that Maxwell has had a dust-up with young fans during his AEW matches. His now infamous ‘water throwing incident’ from AEW Revolution 2023 got him coverage on outlets such as TMZ. His decision to throw water in the face of a child at ringside led to AEW President Tony Khan having a “serious conversation” with MJF over conduct that he deemed unbecoming of the AEW World Champion.

“We had a serious conversation and I mean that. It’s not to be taken lightly. The young man, Titus, was a real pro about it. We’ll see Titus here again at AEW… I was just with him, and he was a real champ about it.

The champion [mjf] didn’t act like a champion there, but I think Titus was great.”
