Andrews will be taking on one of the most beloved stars in both RIPTIDE and the UK scene; Jack Sexsmith. The ‘Pansexual Phenomenon’ has been building his profile over the past few years and is now in line for a huge PROGRESS Wrestling World Title bout (at their 69th Chapter event) as well as high profile matches for up and coming independent companies such as RIPTIDE.
The currently confirmed card for Spring Break is now as follows:
WALTER vs Wild Boar
Jimmy Havoc vs Jinny
Mark Andrews vs Jack Sexsmith
Maverick Mayhew vs Spike Trivet
Sierra Loxton vs Chakara vs Sammi Jayne
TK Cooper vs Drew Parker vs Elijah vs Danny Jones
Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) vs Kip Sabian & ??? vs Team White Wolf vs Anti-Fun Police
The Young Bucks have made public tributes and said their farewells to one of the most beloved venues in independent wrestling and PWG’s longtime home; American Legion Hall/Post #308 in Reseda, CA.
Due to a ticketing error PWG’s last event Time Is A Flat Circle was moved to the Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California. That error appeared to be a signal that the independent company was planning on moving home at some point in the near future.
The Young Bucks’ time as part of PWG and their performances in the Legion Hall have become the stuff of legend, as such they made it a personal goal to at least perform on one of the final dates in the venue:
Pro Wrestling Guerilla will be holding their final ever events in the Legion Hall this weekend for ‘All Star Extravaganza’ with the following matches set over the two nights:
All Star Weekend Night 1 Friday April 20th
PWG Tag Team Champions Matt Riddle & Jeff Cobb vs. The Young Bucks vs. Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz
PWG Champion Keith Lee vs. Adam Page.
WALTER & Timothy Thatcher vs. Tyler Bateman & Brody King
Taiji Ishimori vs. Bandido
Jonah Rock vs. Joey Janela.
Robbie Eagles vs. Flash Morgan Webster vs. Sammy Guevara.
Ring of Honor has announced that several New Japan Pro Wrestling stars will be joining the company as part of their Honor United UK tour in May. ROH and NJPW have a long standing working relationship and frequently see performers appear on major events in both the United States and Japan, the most notable recent bout being the Supercard of Honor XII main event: Cody Rhodes vs Kenny Omega.
Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano and IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions EVIL and SANADA of Los Ingobernables de Japon will be making their way to the United Kingdom with shows in:
Scotland’s Edinburgh Corn Exchange May 24
London’s Crystal Palace Sports Centre May 26
Doncaster’s Doncaster Dome May 27
These events mark the first time ROH has been in the UK since last August’s sold-out War of the Worlds UK Tour and will feature some of the company’s biggest stars. No matches have yet been confirmed for the tour.
Tickets for the three shows are available to purchase via the official ROH Website.
UK based promotion Fight Club: Pro has made two major announcements for their upcoming ‘Return of The Sendai’ event which takes place Friday May 4th from Wolverhampton, England.
WWE United Kingdom and NXT Superstars Tyler Bate and Trent Seven will be making their return to FCP after becoming the company’s first ever Tag Team champions. ‘Moustache Mountain’ became the inaugural Tag Team title holders after competing in a 70 minute plus bout during the Dream Tag Team Invitational, their opponents for ‘Return of the Sendai’ have yet to be confirmed.
Reigning Fight Club: Pro singles Champion Meiko Satomura will be making her way to Wolverhampton to defend her belt against the man she defeated for the crown. CCK leader Chris Brookes will be looking to reclaim the title after losing to the Japanese legend in one of the featured bouts from FCP’s Dream Tag Invitational. Satomura also successfully defended the belt during WrestleMania weekend at the ‘Pancakes and Piledrivers’ show co-hosted by AAW/Revolver Wrestling and Fight Club; Satomura defeated both Jessicka Havok and Kimber Lee to keep hold of the Championship.
Satomura is the co-founder of the famed Sendai Girls promotion, she has performed across the globe for the likes of Gaea Japan, WCW and Chikara.
DTTI 2018 was a truly huge occasion as we crowned our first ever Tag Team Champions.
On Fri 4th May, Moustache Mountain will be there to defend their titles at Return Of The Sendai but who will they face???
PROGRESS has announced a major Champion vs Champion bout for their upcoming Super Strong Style 16 weekender which takes place May 5th/6th/7th from Alexandra Palace in London, England.
The company’s World Champion Travis Banks will be defending his crown against the current reigning ATLAS Division Champion WALTER. Banks’ long anticipated title reign recently took an unexpected turn, fans of PROGRESS (specifically in the Electric Ballroom) began to turn their backs on the previously beloved ‘Kiwi Buzzsaw’ and the company appears to have reacted to this negativity by giving the fans this bout against strong favourite WALTER.
Ringkampf stable member WALTER is fast becoming one of the most sought after ‘free agents’ in the world scene, WWE are reportedly interested in the Austrian powerhouse and star of German promotion wXw…these reports have since been refuted by WALTER however he was on hand during the Wrestlemania Axxess shows so a deal between the two parties may well be struck in the coming months.
Intriguingly this will be the second time that the two decorated UK scene stars will face in the coming weeks; DEFIANT Wrestling has already announced that an Internet Title bout will take place at their No Regrets PPV on April 28th.
Mae Young Classic competitor and PROGRESS Women’s Champion Toni Storm has been confirmed for Frontline Wrestling’s debut show ‘Build Me An Empire’ which takes place June 28th from Stratford Circus in London. Frontline Wrestling is a new promotion headed by IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay, the company will be looking to present a more ‘sports’ based style that is akin to Japanese/Puro’s presentation and aesthetic.
Rumors have been circulating regarding Toni Storm’s WWE status for several months now. There was an expectation following the Mae Young Classic that Storm and fellow British performer Piper Niven/Viper would be signed however this does not appear to have yet come to fruition, whether Storm and indeed Niven will end up in WWE/NXT remains to be seen but is very likely given the international popularity of both stars.
Storm will be facing fellow STARDOM roster star Bea Priestley in somewhat of a dream match for UK fans; Priestley is an up and coming performer in her own right, she has recently been confirmed as one of the 16 women taking part in the STARDOM ‘Cinderella’ Tournament taking place April 30th from Korakuen Hall in Japan, she will be facing Irish star ‘Session Moth’ Martina in the opening round.
Europe’s biggest All Female promotion Pro Wrestling: EVE has announced that the upcoming ‘Wrestle Queendom’ show will be broadcast LIVE on iPPV across the world.
The stacked mega card will be taking place Saturday May 5th from the world famous York Hall in Bethnal Green, London. EVE has not yet confirmed which PPV company will be hosting the content however FITE is looking the most likely at this stage.
Two of the standout matches on this show have got to be WWE Mae Young Classic Competitors Piper Niven/Viper and Kay Lee Ray taking on Aja Kong and Meiko Satomura respectively. The two legends of Japanese wrestling will be stepping in the ring with arguably two of the finest performers on the UK scene and it will be available to view live on iPPV.
Here is the currently confirmed card for the show:
Pro Wrestling: EVE Championship Match – Sammii Jayne (c) v SHE-1 Tournament Winner and ACE of EVECharlie Morgan
International Dream Match – Aja Kong v Viper
International Dream Match – Meiko Satomura v Kay Lee Ray
Winner Advances to the Wildcard Ladder Match – Kris Wolf v Jinny Couture
Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) has decided to offer their On Demand service for free to new subscribers for this week only. You can find more information via the official ICW On Demand Twitter account @ICWonDemand or here. If you’re interested in getting a free week of Scotland’s biggest independent promtion then make sure that you sign up by Sunday 22nd.
One of the most anticipated bouts at ICW’s upcoming Barramania IV event pits Lionheart against longtime foe Jackie Polo. The two men will look to settle their heated feud on Sunday April 29th…but before their match the two men met during ICW’s recent Fight Club tapings and before Lionheart left the ring he attacked company owner Mark Dallas, hitting a Rock Bottom and leaving ‘the boss’ laying. Check out the video via the tweet below but be forewarned there is EXTREMELY strong language.
PROGRESS has announced the final entrant(s) in their upcoming Super Strong Style 16 tournament. Taking place May 5th, 6th and 7th the annual tournament brings some of the best wrestlers from Europe, Mexico, Japan and the United States to Alexandra Palace in North London.
In an interesting twist the PROGRESS Tag Team Champions the ‘Grizzled Young Veterans’ have decided to enter themselves into the 16 man tournament…which man enters on the day has not yet been confirmed. The ‘Vets’ tag team is comprised of Zack Gibson and James Drake, Gibson is someone who is heavily linked with WWE’s United Kingdom roster after performing as part of the Axxess shows this past WrestleMania weekend. James Drake is already a member of the WWE UK roster and a chance to see the tag team perform as part of the Albert Hall shows may well become a reality this June.
The full lineup for the Super Strong Style 16 tournament is now as follows:
DEFIANT Wrestling has announced a massive Championship match for their upcoming ‘No Regrets’ PPV on Saturday April 28th from Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Reigning DEFIANT Internet Champion Travis Banks will be defending his coveted belt against Ringkampf stable member WALTER. Interestingly this match up pits the PROGRESS World Champion against the PROGRESS ATLAS Champion even before London’s biggest independent pro wrestling company the decides to pit these two stars against one another…
The ‘No Regrets’ PPV will be available to purchase via the FITE App or on DEFIANT’s own Access DEFIANT On Demand streaming service. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial right now if you head over to this page.
Access Defiant costs just $8.99 per month and features the entirety of the WCPW back catalogue, including the Pro Wrestling World Cup, WCPW True Legacy featuring Kurt Angle vs Cody Rhodes, Stacked ’17 featuring Will Ospreay vs Marty Scurll and much more.

The show will be compared by Dean Ayass with a Q&A segment orchestrated by UK superstar and PROGRESS roster member Eddie Dennis. The evening will be taking place at the famed Hackney Showroom from 7pm and tickets are available to purchase here for £10.

UK promotion Fight Club: Pro has announced that Meiko Satomura will be making her return to the company at the (rather aptly named) ‘Return Of The Sendai’ event on Friday May 4th in Wolverhampton, England.
Satomura is the current reigning Fight Club: Pro Champion having defeated CCK stable member Chris Brookes as part of the company’s Dream Tag Team Invitational shows back in March.
Her opponent for the ‘Return..’ show on May 4th is yet to be announced.
Insane Championship Wrestling has publicly congratulated former ICW World Champion Drew McIntyre on his return to Monday Night RAW. The company made the following statement in an interview with the Sunday Post in Scotland:
“Drew McIntyre helped put ICW on the map. He took the ICW Heavyweight Championship and defended it across the globe, giving it World Title status. He was also one of the main features of our Fear & Loathing event at the SSE Hydro, the biggest British independent professional wrestling show in thirty years. We’re forever grateful to Drew for what he has done for ICW and cannot wait to see what he brings to the RAW brand.”
McIntyre (known as Galloway on the independent scene) had two stints for ICW, his first back in 2006 when he appeared at the company’s inaugural event and became their first ever Heavyweight Champion and his second followed his 2014 release from WWE. Drew’s run from 2014-2017 completely reignited his career and fundamentally changed the course of ICW’s already incredible success story.
Insane Championship Wrestling inducted the former NXT/WWE Intercontinental Champion into their Hall of Fame earlier this year on February 12th.
PROGRESS Wrestling has announced that current NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno will be taking part in the upcoming Super Strong Style 16 tournament. Taking place May 5th, 6th and 7th the annual tournament brings some of the best wrestlers from Europe, Mexico, Japan and the United States to Alexandra Palace in North London.
This will be the second time that Kassius Ohno has entered the SSS16 event, the first coming in 2016 where he had arguably the greatest match in PROGRESS history against 205 Live Superstar Mark Andrews (who is also appearing this year…).
Ohno is the 15th confirmed star for the tournament, he now joins the following names for the all star lineup in May:
WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne
Keith Lee
Zack Sabre Jr
Doug Williams
Angelico
Mark Andrews
‘Flash’ Morgan Webster
Chuck Mambo
Chris Brookes
Jordan Devlin
TK Cooper
David Starr
Tyler Bate
PROGRESS will likely be naming the final competitor in the coming week, we’ll keep you updated as news becomes available.
WWE announced over Wrestlemania weekend that the United Kingdom roster would once again be featured during a two day event in the historic Albert Hall on June 18th/19th. The company has confirmed that a tournament akin to the original in Blackpool would determine the Number 1 Contender to Pete Dunne’s United Kingdom Championship.
Whilst there are a slew of worthy challengers already signed to WWE’s United Kingdom roster we decided to look at 3 stars currently working the UK scene who could seemingly make the jump into the ‘big time’ and be crowned the next number 1 contender to the already prestigious belt, here are those names:
Nathan Cruz
You may not know Nathan Cruz, but you really should. The current NGW Champion is a veteran of the UK scene and extremely well respected by his peers. One of the most impressive aspects of his extensive resume comes from his time in the PROGRESS promotion, where he became their first ever top Champion (the belt later became a World Title) and he also held the Tag Team Championships for an extensive period of time, defeating the likes of the Sumerian Death Squad (Aleister Black’s former team), Tommaso Ciampa & Zack Sabre Jr and F.S.U (Mark Andrews & Eddie Dennis). Cruz has an incredible presence and can play to crowds of varying ages with unquestionable ease, he is a talent on the UK scene that should absolutely be given a shot amongst the WWE’s growing roster. Incredibly Cruz actually wrestled as part of an NXT taping back in 2016 in a losing effort to Elias, you can read more about his time working for the company from this interview with Sky Sports.
Mark Haskins
Another veteran from UK shores who we really need to see mix it up with some of WWE’s best. Mark Haskins is the definition of a technical master, his unwavering and relentless style has seen him capture the PROGRESS World and Tag Team Championships as well as a slew of belts across Europe. His next big encounter comes as part of ICW’s Newcastle show where he steps in for an injured Paul London to challenge for the ICW World Championship against BT Gunn, who himself is another star worthy of making the tournament in June. The pinnacle of Haskins’ career thus far has to be his PROGRESS World Title win during the 2016 Brixton Academy show against Marty Scurll and Aleister Black, the bout ended in an absolutely euphoric response from the huge crowd and will be remembered for years by the PROGRESS faithful…Haskins is absolutely ready for WWE.
Zack Gibson
By now you may have already heard of Zack Gibson. ‘Liverpool’s Number 1’ has been gracing shows across the UK for a number of years and his claim to soon be the ‘World’s Number 1’ is being backed up with every passing appearance. Gibson is no stranger to the WWE United Kingdom title, he recently challenged Pete Dunne for the strap as part of a Futureshock Wrestling event and whilst he came up short another shot at the coveted prize cannot be too far away for the Scouse Superstar (he’ll definably call himself that in WWE). Interestingly Gibson’s longtime tag team and business partner James Drake is already a member of the WWE United Kingdom division, he took part in the original tournament and subsequent Norwich tapings in a reduced but somewhat prominent role and there is certainly scope to team these two on future shows for the company.
Out of the three listed there is an extremely good chance that Gibson will not only be part of the tournament, but he may actually win. Pete Dunne has been portrayed as someone of a ‘tweener’ character on NXT and the crowds have been massively behind the ‘Bruiserweight.’ A strong villainous character with the presence of Gibson may be just what is needed to help elevate the United Kingdom Championship to bigger heights and help build to what is hopefully an established Network/Television series down the line.
Are there any UK stars you’d like to see? Let us now in the comments.
WWE has just announced that United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne will be teaming with his British Strong Style stablemates Tyler Bate and Trent Seven to take on the Undisputed Era as part of the upcoming United Kingdom Championship Tournament events from the historic Royal Albert Hall on June 18th/19th.
The match was set during Wrestlemania weekend; Pete Dunne looked to be winning the NXT Tag Team Championships and Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy after hitting a ‘Bitter End’ on Undisputed Era’s Kyle O’Reilly before his partner Roderick Strong turned on him and aligned himself with NXT’s most dangerous alliance. Dunne then joined his British Strong Style stablemates during the next evening’s Axxess event and seemingly brought the group into WWE officially, this announcement of a BSS vs UE dream bout now confirms that.
As previously mentioned British Strong Style is a trio consisting of Dunne, Bate and Seven. The team were created in the UK’s PROGRESS promotion when Trent Seven actually attacked Tyler Bate and Dunne attacked his partner at the time Damien Dunne. Tyler Bate eventually joined the duo and they became the most dominant force in the company, holding both the PROGRESS Tag Team and World Championships until the company’s biggest ever show in Alexandra Palace: Chapter 55 – ‘Chase The Sun.’ This will be British Strong Style’s first official match together under the WWE banner and an incredible showcase for the three UK Superstars.
Former WWE Superstar James Ellsworth has been confirmed for a UK bout against one of the premier Deathmatch performers in the world…
The former PROGRESS Wrestling World Champion and CZW Tournament of Death 2017 winner Jimmy Havoc will be taking on Ellsworth as part of IPW:UK’s ‘Chin Up Son’ event which takes place on Wednesday 2nd May from Unit 9 in Milton Keynes, England. Ellsworth has been appearing sporadically on the independent scene since his WWE departure, he faced former UFC star Matt Riddle as part of Joey Janela’s Spring Break 2 event this past weekend in a quick 3 minute match.
This match against Havoc marks his debut in the United Kingdom outside of the WWE…which is quite a way to debut on one of the hottest scenes in the World. Fans of the UK promotion have been quick to ask for a Deathmatch stipulation to be added to the bout but IPW:UK has not yet commented on this, we will update you if this changes, you can see Ellsworth’s reaction to the match via the tweet below.
Welcome back to the weekly look at some of the UK wrestling scene’s finest performers. This week actually features two current stars on the DEFIANT Wrestling roster who aren’t of the British Isles but call the UK and Europe their wrestling home.
David Starr vs WALTER might not be a feud that you have come across, but it is one of the most hotly contested feuds in Europe. David Starr, or to use his full moniker ‘The Cream in Your Coffee, Your Favorite Wrestler’s Favorite Wrestler, The Jewish Cannon, The Physical Embodiment of Charisma, The Bernie Sanders of Professional Wrestling, The Most Entertaining Man in Professional Wrestling, Mr Americanrana, Davey Wrestling, The 104 Minute Man, The Main Event, “He’s really good at Twitter”, The King of Taunts, The Product’ David Starr has been unable to defeat the much larger WALTER ever since their first singles bout in German promotion wXw way back in January 2016. Since their first encounter the two have gone on to headline shows across the UK and Europe again for wXw, PROGRESS (as part of a wXw co-branded show) and also in a showcase bout for Beyond Wrestling in the United States.
If you’ve never heard of WALTER then he is certainly a performer that should be on your radar. The Austrian powerhouse has been dominating the Tag and Heavyweight divisions in wXw, PROGRESS and PWG over the past couple of years and he is now being slated as a future WWE/NXT signee (even if he denies any sort of negotiations). The de-facto leader of the Ringkampf stable (alongside Timothy Thatcher and previously NXT roster member Axel Dieter Jr) has a ton of potential on the world stage and has already garnered critical praise from the likes of Dave Meltzer, who gave his PWG All-Star Weekend bout against Zack Sabre Jr from October 2017 a 5 star rating.
Fast forward and Starr is still yet to defeat the now PROGRESS ATLAS Champion WALTER. The bout below comes from DEFIANT Wrestling’s recent ‘Road to No Regrets’ show and is another stellar chapter in the unlikely feud between two of Europe’s most wily competitors, check it out and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
New UK based promotion Frontline Wrestling has announced the main event for their debut show ‘Build Me an Empire’ which takes place on June 28th at Stratford Circus in London.
Pro Wrestling NOAH and Japanese legend Kenoh will be facing one of the UK’s standout talents; Chris Ridgeway. Ridgeway is one of the most hard hitting and impactful performers on the scene today and his style meshes perfectly with the ‘British Puro’ aesthetic that Frontine are looking to bring on their cards. Company owner Will Ospreay mentioned in an exclusive interview with SEScoops that he wanted to bring Strong Style to Great Britain in a way that was authentic to the Japanese wrestling culture but still highlighted some of the stellar talent that is being produced on UK shores.
Kenoh has been a part of Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH promotion since 2014, following an extremely successful stint in the Michinoku Pro promotion from 2007 when he was scouted by Jinsei Shinzaki. As well as being a former GHC Heavyweight Champion he has held the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, GHC Tag Team Championship and Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Championship.
Check out Frontline’s Twitter account below for more updates as they become available:
The advocate for the reigning, defending Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has just sent out a cryptic tweet concerning ‘The Beast Incarnate’s’ title match with Roman Reigns at tonight’s Wrestlemania show.
Paul Heyman posted an image with the ‘Tale of The Tape’ for tonight’s match and he made some interesting points, he stated that “Roman Reigns has been the main event on FOUR consecutive WrestleManias. Not even Brock Lesnar can say that. Roman has earned that position every single day, and deserves mad props for that. Please be advised, though. I’m leaving Wrestlemania 34 with the Universal Champion.”
Whilst Heyman could be referring to his client Lesnar there is certainly a cryptic element to his words. Heyman is an extremely savvy promoter and business man and could easily be stoking the fires for a potential ‘turn’ on his client and be aligning with the ‘Big Dog’ at Wrestlemania…or he could of course be leading fans down the wrong path deliberately.
Let us know if you think Heyman could be leaving Wrestlemania with Reigns in the comments.
Once again we have made it to the Grandest Stage of Them All…Wrestlemania! Fans from across the globe tune in via PPV or the WWE Network to check out the biggest spectacle in Sports Entertainment and we felt it would be a good idea to list the start times for anyone that isn’t based in the United States and wants to catch the action right from the Kickoff show:
Global rock legend Alice Cooper has revealed that his touring guitarist Nita Strauss will be performing as part of Shinsuke Nakamura’s Wrestlemania entrance tonight. Strauss was shown in the crowd during the NXT Takeover: New Orleans show last night.
The rock icon tweeted earlier today to confirm the news and he also posted a video of his WrestleMania 3 appearance where he joined Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts and the ‘Mouth of the South’ Jimmy Hart in an in-ring segment. Check out this iconic moment via the tweet below.
Both AJ and Shinsuke tweeted their final comments earlier today to hype up their huge bout for the WWE Championship at tonight’s Wrestlemania show, check it out here.
AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura have made their final comments before their WWE Championship match tonight at WrestleMania.
This bout has been long anticipated ever since the two men stood toe to toe at last year’s Money In The Bank ladder match and the time has finally come for two of the world’s greatest performers to battle it out for WWE’s richest prize. This will be the first time that the two Superstars have faced in a one on one match since their epic encounter at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 10, a match that garnered rave reviews and was AJ’s final singles bout before making the move over to WWE.
Check out the comments from both men below and let us know in the comments who you think will leave New Orleans as WWE Champion:
At one point in my career, walking into #WrestleMania as @WWE Champion was a dream. At one point in my career this match occurring outside of Japan was a dream.
WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne has begun teasing a feud between the Undisputed Era and his own stable British Strong Style.
Dunne was attacked by his own tag team partner Roderick Strong during last night’s NXT Takeover: New Orleans event. Dunne had hit his signature move the ‘Bitter End’ on NXT Tag Team Champion Kyle O’Reilly and he looked set to win the titles and the coveted Dusty Rhodes Classic trophy…then Strong attacked the ‘Bruiserweight’ and officially aligning himself with the Undisputed Era stable.
Following the event Dunne sent out a tweet with a picture of himself, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven, potentially setting up a huge feud between the two teams.
Would you like to see a BSS vs Undisputed Era feud? Let us know in the comments.
Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette has challenged independent performer Mat Fitchett to a match. The controversial actor jumped the barricade during ‘Pancakes and Piledrivers,’ a co-branded AAW, Wrestling Revolver and Fight Club: Pro event that took place in New Orleans earlier today.
After defeating Aussie Open in the main event of the show Fitchett and his tag team partner called out Arquette who proceeded to jump the barricade and make his way into the ring. The former WCW Champion went on to mention his accolades in wrestling, including bouts with Jeff Jarrett, DDP and Eric Bischoff. He also went on to mention that WWE killed the WCW brand and that he had never been pinned in a wrestling ring…he ended his promo by saying “let’s set a date.”
