Edge Cast In Upcoming Disney + Series

WWE Superstar Edge has been cast in an upcoming series for Disney+.

He’s currently involved in a bitter rivalry with the group he created, The Judgment Day. This past Saturday at WWE Extreme Rules, Edge battled Finn Balor in an I Quit match. Judgment Day interfered but Rey Mysterio made the save. Rhea Ripley then attacked Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix, and threatened to hit her with a con-chair-to if The Rated-R Superstar didn’t quit.

Edge uttered the words “I quit” to end the match, but Ripley opted to hit Beth with the con-chair-to anyway. Ripley recently took to Twitter and claimed that she’s the person that Edge wanted her to be.

Adam Copeland Cast In “Percy Jackson and the Olympians

It was reported today by Variety that Adam Copeland (Edge), alongside Suzanne Cryer and Jessica Parker Kennedy, has been cast in the upcoming series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” for Disney +.

Edge will appear in the series as a recurring guest star. The 48-year-old will play “Ares” in the series, a character described to Variety as “handsome in a wicked way and arrogant, despite not being the sharpest tool in the shed. He loves conflict and acts as an agent of chaos wherever he goes.” The series is not scheduled to be released until early 2024.

Edge Set To Retire In Toronto Next Year

The Ultimate Opportunist defeated The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest in the main event of RAW in Toronto on August 22nd. After the match, Edge grabbed a microphone and revealed to the crowd that he plans on retiring when WWE returns to Toronto in 2023.

I can’t wait to hopefully come back one last time here in Toronto. I’m looking at the calendar, we usually come here in August. So next August, I plan on seeing each and every one of you. And in a perfect world, we all say goodbye to each other on that night.

Hey but that is okay man. This is the place we need to do it, okay? I mean this when I say it, I love all of you. And in case you missed it, I love being Canadian!

“You Know This Is Your Call-Up, Right?” – Solo Sikoa Shares His First Interaction With Triple H

Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline disclosed that the first time he met Triple H was before his debut at Clash at the Castle on the latest episode of the Cheap Heat podcast.

He discussed watching his father Rikishi in WWE while growing up, being a part of The Bloodline in WWE, why Honorary Uce Sami Zayn is “one and a million“, and the advice he received from Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns ahead of his debut last month at Clash at the Castle.

Sikoa admitted that he had no idea that he was being called up the main roster the first time he spoke with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H.

You know, going to Cardiff, that was my first time meeting him (Triple H). At the time, he was not in NXT. When he signs people at NXT, he takes a picture with them. I think like a week before we were getting ready to take the picture with him, he had some differences and something had happened.

But that was my first time meeting him man. He brought me to the office and goes ‘hey man, welcome to Cardiff. You know this is your call-up right?’ I was like ‘no, I didn’t.’ He goes ‘yeah this is your call-up man for SmackDown, so welcome’.

Solo added that Triple H had to explain to him what he was doing at the Premium Live Event. The 29-year-old stated that The Game will talk to him after every match and give him advice.

He’ll talk to me every time after the match to give me some advice, which I’m really happy I got the chance to meet him.

Rosenberg asked Sikoa towards the end of the interview what it was like being in the ring with Drew McIntyre. Sikoa cost Drew his shot at the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Clash at the Castle. They battled on an episode of SmackDown in a match that ended in a DQ following interference from Karrion Kross.

He’s a pro. He’s been in the game for over twenty years I think. Me being in there with a guy like him man, I was happy to be in there because I learned so much. You know with guys like that have been around the game and I’m just coming up from NXT.

It is a whole different pace. It is a whole different ballgame from NXT to the main roster. If you can catch on and switch how you was in NXT to the main roster, I think you will fit in just fine.

Solo Sikoa Reveals The Advice He Got From Roman Reigns Before His Debut At WWE Clash At The Castle

Solo Sikoa made his main roster at WWE Clash at the Castle in the main event.

The 29-year-old showed up during the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.

Drew set up for the Claymore and appeared to have the match one but got distracted by Sikoa. Roman capitalized with a Spear to retain the title and continue his legendary reign. The Tribal Chief has been the champion for 772 days now, and is scheduled to defend against Logan Paul next month at WWE Crown Jewel.

Solo Sikoa Reveals The Advice He Got From Roman Reigns

Solo Sikoa chatted with Peter Rosenberg on the latest edition of The Ringer’s Cheap Heat podcast. Sikoa revealed that he hadn’t seen Roman for over 20 years before Clash at the Castle in Cardiff.

You know, seeing Roman in Cardiff, I hadn’t seen him for like 20 years. We really weren’t close but he was always around at our house playing with my brothers (The Usos). They were the same age and I was way younger than them.

Now coming into the business, I’m starting to get close with him even though the age gap is there. I’m really starting to get close with him because it’s Big Uce Roman Reigns, you know what I’m saying? He’s been running this game for a while now.

Rosenberg asked if The Tribal Chief gave Solo any advice before his debut at Clash at the Castle.

He just said be there. Be there on the timing. If you don’t do this and that during the match, it’s not going to work.

I remember when we got there, nobody knew I was there in Cardiff. None of the boys, just only certain people.

I remember that day man, we were just sitting in the locker room. It’s quiet. I was watching them get ready for their match and I didn’t want to say anything.

He was in his zone and I was in my zone. He was like man ‘I just need you to be here and I need you to execute this at this time’. And I did man, and it blew the roof off the place.

Solo added that Roman told him that he did a good job following the Premium Live Event last month.

“One In A Million” – The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa Shares His Thoughts On Sami Zayn

The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa has made his presence felt on the main roster since arriving at Clash at the Castle.

He is the younger brother of Undisputed Tag Team Champions The Usos and the son of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi.

The 29-year-old has become The Enforcer of The Bloodline and recently demolished Ricochet & Madcap Moss for questioning if Sami Zayn was actually a member of The Bloodline. Solo captured the NXT North American Championship from Carmelo Hayes on the September 13th edition of NXT but was forced to relinquish the title a week later.

Sikoa defeated Madcap Moss on the September 16th edition of SmackDown to retain the title.

Solo Sikoa On Sami Zayn Being In The Bloodline

Solo joined Peter Rosenberg on the latest episode of The Ringer’s Cheap Heat podcast. During the conversation, Rosenberg noted that he sees a lot of Rikishi and Umaga in Sikoa. He asked Solo if there were any wrestlers that influenced him and he listed off several names from his family including Umaga, Yokozuna, The Usos, and Rikishi.

Solo Sikoa spoke about Sami Zayn and referred to the Honorary Uce as a little bother.

“Sami’s like that little brother, you know? He’s the loud brother, and he’s dancing all over the place. But when he bumps into trouble, he runs back to his older brothers for help.

I feel like Sami is like that. But he’s one of those characters man, where it is very one in a million to have him a round. And he’s in The Bloodline, so it doesn’t get no better than that.

Peter asked if wrestlers backstage pull Solo Sikoa aside and give him advice. Sikoa stated that happens from time to time but his brothers in The Bloodline usually take care of that.

There are some times when other people pull me aside, but I feel like my brothers, and Roman, and Sami already do that enough.

I am blessed to have these four guys around me. Sami, Roman, and my brothers are always giving me feedback on everything.

For me just coming up and just started, I’m very blessed and lucky to have that. Back in the day, or even now, a lot of guys wouldn’t do that.

I can tell all four of them care about me and want to see me succeed.

Sami is one of those guys where he’s a student of the game. He really knows his stuff. When he talks to me man, I’m all eyes and ears.

“He Had A Big A**” – Solo Sikoa Reflects On Watching His Father Rikishi In WWE

The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa has made an impact on the main roster since arriving at Clash at the Castle. He interfered in the main event to ensure Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre and retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The former NXT North American Champion has become the enforcer of The Bloodline and has acknowledged Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief.

Speaking with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, Solo discussed his brothers The Usos, and his legendary father, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi. Rosenberg noted that he’s seven years younger than Jimmy and Jey and wondered at what point Sikoa decided he was going to be a wrestler.

It’s always there. I feel like it’s always been inside of me. I wanted to give wrestling a try but it’s always been around. It’s in our blood man, you can’t teach this. I feel like no matter what I’ve done growing up, I feel like I always would have come back to wrestling. And look at us now.

Peter noted that Solo’s dad Rikishi was on top of the world around the year 2000 and asked what his earliest memory was of seeing his dad wrestle.

I remember on the night before school, I saw my dad debut with his blonde hair. I remember everybody, you know, my uncles, my aunties, my mom, and my brothers, we were all sitting there.

They were crowding the TV and I’m like ‘man watch out, what is going on?’. And then I see my dad. Not only did I see my dad, I saw him in underwear and with the blonde hair. I’m like ‘I just seen him yesterday and he didn’t look like that’.

I knew from that point on, man. It just took off. I was like ‘wow, that’s dad, that’s crazy’.

Solo spoke about it taking a while for Rikishi to find his spot in WWE but became very recognizable once he did.

It took him a while to find that spot in the WWE. I think when he found himself as Rikishi, he had already been through like five different characters at the time. When Rikishi took off, I knew people were going to recognize him.

He’s a big Samoan guy with blonde hair. There’s not many big Samoans with blonde hair. And we all know he had a big a**. It’s hard to miss a big a** with blonde hair on a big Samoan guy. Everywhere he went, people knew who he was.

Solo beat Ricochet and Madcap down backstage the week prior after they questioned if Sami was actually a member of The Bloodline.

Solo Sikoa On Being In WWE With His Family

Speaking with Peter Rosenberg on the Cheap Heat podcast, Solo Sikoa revealed that it was his first interview. Solo added that his debut came out of nowhere at Clash at the Castle.

It was out of the blue man. It was just one of those things where I got the call, this is what we want to do and this is how we want to bring you in. But I would never expect it this way, in front of 60,000 people man it was crazy.

Solo spoke about wrestling on the biggest stage with his family and included Sami Zayn in the discussion as he is an Honorary Uce.

Never did I think I was going to be able to do this with family but you know, I’m on the highest and the biggest stage of them all. And especially where my family is at in the business on top of the mountain with Big Uce Roman Reigns. I’m having a lot of fun.

And you know, I’m doing it with blood. It doesn’t get any better than that. And when I talk about blood, I also mean Sami Zayn too. Because you know, he’s an Honorary Uce and everything. So yeah man, it’s pretty cool moving in there with my family.

Dustin Rhodes Hints At Retirement: “Time Comes For All Of Us”

AEW star Dustin Rhodes has hinted that his time in the squared circle may be coming to an end in the near future.

The 53-year-old took to Twitter today and revealed that he’s started to think about what is next for him. He stated that his old age has caught up to him and he’s been doing some “heavy thinking” about his next step.

Man, old age has caught up to me guys. As much as I push myself beyond my limits, I can honestly say, I am doing some heavy thinking about the next step. We all think we can go forever with new batteries, but TIME comes for all of us. Kinda scared tbh. #KeepSteppin

Dustin Rhodes In All Elite Wrestling

Dustin is the only Rhodes remaining in AEW after former EVP Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi exited the company earlier this year. Cody went on to debut at WrestleMania 38 as former CEO Vince McMahon’s handpicked opponent for Seth Rollins.

The American Nightmare picked up three victories in a row over The Visionary before being sidelined with a torn triceps. Many have argued that Cody’s best match in AEW was against his brother Dustin at Double or Nothing 2019.

Cody famously destroyed the throne with a sledgehammer during his entrance before defeating his brother at the PPV. After the match, The American Nightmare emotionally asked Dustin to team up with him against The Young Bucks.

Dustin has wrestled sporadically for AEW over the past few years, with many of the matches happening on Dark or Dark Elevation. He lost to former AEW Champion CM Punk on the April 20th episode of Dynamite. His last match for the company was on August 26th.

Rhodes battled Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH Championship on an episode of Rampage but came up short. Claudio dropped the ROH Championship to Chris Jericho at Dynamite: Grand Slam. Jericho will defend the title on tonight’s Dynamite against Bryan Danielson.

New WWE Hire Responds To Rumors Of Backstage Heat

WWE recently hired Rob Fee as the company’s Director of Longterm Creative

Rob reportedly played a critical part in orchestrating the wildly successful “White Rabbit” teaser campaign that culminated in Bray Wyatt’s return to the company this past weekend at WWE Extreme Rules.

Prior to joining WWE, Rob wrote for Marvel, Disney, and was a producer for MTV’s Ridiculousness and The Ellen Show. He has written comics for Daredevil, Spider-Man, and The Avengers in his career.

AEW star MJF had some kind words for Rob upon his hiring. He wasn’t so kind in his wedding video to Rob and suggested that his wife will probably leave him.

Rob Fee Responds To Rumors Of Backstage Heat In WWE

It was reported today by Ringside News that Rob Fee already has backstage heat within the company. The report claimed that Rob was arrogant and dismissive toward WWE writers. RSN added that Rob “takes credit for the Bray Wyatt return” backstage.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful said that he has heard from WWE officials that Rob has been received positively backstage. SRS added that both Rob’s work and treatment of others have been well-received backstage.

WWE officials across creative and the broader business laughed at reports that Rob Fee is making enemies at the company. His work and treatment of others have both been positively received.

Rob responded and joked that everyone shared a good laugh over the report while he was hitting people with chairs.

Lol we all had a good laugh at that this morning while I was hitting writers assistant with chairs.

The Rock Leaves The Door Open For Future Presidential Run

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson isn’t just rumored to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, The Great One’s name has also been mentioned as a potential presidential candidate.

The Rock shot down running for president in 2024 and cited that being a father to his children is his number one priority at the moment. His new film Black Adam is set to be released on October 21st.

In a recent interview with Jake Tapper on CNN, the 50-year-old said that he was humbled by people asking him to run for office.

In terms of the presidency, I’ll tell you this Jake. It all is a convergence of things that are surreal and inspiring. And what I mean by that is, as we get into the midterms, and even a couple of years ago, this idea and the question continues to pop up on whether or not I would run for president.

Would I seriously consider it, I have seriously considered it. You have to. When you start looking at some of these polls, and the numbers creep up to 46-50% of people would vote for me should I run. I’ve been really moved by that.

I have heard now from both sides of the aisle, the most influential people in politics, asking and hoping that I would run. Again, it is so moving and surreal, but I don’t know anything about politics. I will say that I am a patriot, I love our country, and I love everybody in it.

Jake Tapper then asked The Rock if he would consider running for president down the line, perhaps when his children go off to college. He asked if he was closing the door on a presidential run down the line and The Rock revealed that was not the case.

No not at all, I wouldn’t do that. Thank you for asking and clarifying that. Right now for my daughters, it is important that I’m home, and that stability is important for me to be there. That is the most important thing to me.

By the way, that is a tough thing I think to reconcile, I’m blown away by that. The fact that I’m even having this conversation with you.

The fact that I’ve been approached by the most influential in the world of politics, which I think you (Jake Tapper) know very well. It was really moving but right now the most important job I have is to be their father.

“I Was Dumbfounded” – Dakota Kai On Triple H Contacting Her For WWE Return

Dakota Kai returned to WWE at SummerSlam alongside Bayley and IYO SKY. The group became known as Damage CTRL and has already become a key part of the RAW roster.

Kai was released in April but made her return after WWE had undergone massive changes at the top of the company. Vince McMahon resigned in late July and his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, and Nick Khan took over as the new co-CEOs.

Triple H replaced John Laurinaitis as the EVP of Talent Relations and was recently given the title of Chief Content Officer. Since gaining power in the company, The Game has brought back several released talents and Dakota Kai was one of them.

Dakota Kai On Triple H Reaching Out To Her For WWE Return

Dakota Kai joined Ryan Satin on the latest edition of the Out of Character podcast. During the interview, Kai revealed that Bayley pitched the idea to Triple H for Damage CTRL and The Game was in favor of it.

It was very strange because obviously, I wasn’t taking bookings, I was just chilling and doing my streaming thing. Bayley texted me on Thursday just out of the blue, we talk a lot but this question was out of the blue.

She was like ‘hey out of curiosity, are you like talking to anyone right now in terms of companies?’. I said ‘well, kind of, why do you ask?’.

She said that she in a last-ditch attempt for this idea that she had of a group, she said she texted Hunter and kind of gave it like one last push.

I guess I didn’t know if that would be a thing that he would look to contact me about. But sure enough, she texted him about the idea we had. We had filmed a bunch of videos and took some photos, and she sent him the idea.

His first thought response after that was ‘what is Dakota doing?’.

Dakota added that she was dumbfounded that Triple H wanted her to return as she had never viewed herself as a top star in the company.

I was dumbfounded because I never look at myself as like ‘the guy’. I’ve always been, my role within the company has always been to help elevate, you know, or as someone to just tell a story. I’ve never considered myself a top guy.

So the fact that I was on his mind in terms of that idea and the fact that I was like the first he called back after he had gotten control of the company. I was shocked.

Dakota Kai Reveals Which WWE Superstars She Wants To Join Damage CTRL

Dakota Kai named a WWE Superstar she would like to team up with Damage CTRL in a WarGames match.

The WarGames match will be returning to the main roster at WWE Survivor Series next month at the TD Garden in Boston, MA. In previous years, Survivor Series pitted RAW versus SmackDown in a battle for brand supremacy. In 2019, NXT was a part of Survivor Series and was the victorious brand.

Speaking with Ryan Satin on the Out of Character podcast, Dakota revealed that she would pick Rhea Ripley to join the group for a WarGames match.

Obviously, the three of us but I think someone I’d really like to be on our side would be Rhea (Ripley). I know she’s kind of tied up with a lot of other things right now. But we could just be like, ‘Hey, can we just like use you for one day.’

Because she’s also someone that’s been in the WarGames cage a couple of times too. So I think with her experience and she’s so strong and she’s so like brutal and all the stuff. I think she’d be an awesome person to have on our side, for sure. [To] be the muscle.

Dakota added that NXT star Alba Fyre would a great addition to the group on a full-time basis.

“Kay Lee Ray, oh sorry, Alba Fyre. Sorry, my bad. I think Alba would be such a good addition. She is so ruthless and reckless. I’ve known her for a very long time. I think she’d be such a great addition to Damage CTRL. She’d bring a lot to us as a group and help us to evolve a little bit more, and take that next step. I think she’d be awesome.”

Dakota Kai was released by WWE earlier this year in April. She returned alongside Bayley and IYO SKY at SummerSlam. Dakota and IYO have already established themselves on the main roster and are currently the Women’s Tag Team Champions.

MJF On The Brawl Between CM Punk & The Elite At AEW All Out: “I Wish Everyone Involved The Best Of Luck”

MJF returned to All Elite Wrestling at All Out but the wrestling world was talking about the brawl between CM Punk and The Elite following the PPV.

The brawl resulted in AEW President Tony Khan stripping CM Punk of the AEW World Championship and Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks of the Trios Championships. Death Triangle captured the Trios Championships on the Dynamite following All Out and Jon Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson in the finals of the Tournament of Champions at Dynamite: Grand Slam to become the new champion.

MJF is in line for a title shot and Moxley will put the title on the line against Hangman Page on a special Tuesday night edition of Dynamite on October 18th.

MJF Comments On The Brawl Between CM Punk & The Elite

MJF was recently a guest on Sam Roberts’ Notsam Wrestling show. Sam brought up the backstage incident following AEW All Out and noted how Jon Moxley & MJF seized their opportunity a few days later on Dynamite.

Roberts said that both MJF and Jon were able to get fans to forget about the drama from a moment. MJF quoted CM Punk’s pipebomb promo where he said he’s just a spoke on the wheel and the wheel is going to keep spinning no matter who is in the locker room.

I think it has honestly become less interesting as time has gone on and isn’t that telling, right? Because that is what professional wrestling is.

I’ll use a phrase from a guy that was involved in it (CM Punk), it’s a wheel. And it is going to keep on turning.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, everyone that was involved in this thing is crazy talented. Crazy talented. And whatever happens, whichever way this goes, I wish everyone involved the best of luck.

But like we just discussed, AEW is insane right now and that is not hyperbole. Ratings have been going up, the key demographic has been going up.

Even with this crazy bulls*** nut job hurricane, where you know that the news media is going to be fear-mongering, and like ‘you’re all gonna die!’, we still hit a great demo.

That is the end of the story and I think that it is why it has become a bit of a moot point. It was much more interesting when it went down.

“Who Doesn’t Love Me?” – MJF Reacts To Chris Jericho Saying He Will Be One Of The Top Babyfaces In AEW

Popular AEW star MJF recently discussed Chris Jericho with Sam Roberts on the Notsam Wrestling show.

Chris Jericho defeated Claudio Castagnoli to win the ROH Championship but cheated to do so. Chris is set to defend the ROH Championship in Toronto tomorrow night on Dynamite against another Blackpool Combat Club member.

Bryan Danielson will look to avenge his loss to Jericho at Dynamite: Grand Slam this Wednesday night and become the ROH Champion once again. Jericho challenged Danielson to the match after defeating Bandido on Dynamite on September 28th.

MJF On Possibly Becoming A Good Guy In AEW

During the conversation on Notsam Wrestling, Roberts brought up Chris Jericho’s comments about MJF during the media scrum where he said MJF is going to wind up being one of the top babyfaces in the company.

@_denisesalcedo

? original sound – Denise Salcedo

MJF jokingly agreed with Chris and said that he’s already a great guy and is salt of the earth. Maxwell compared his reaction to that of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and noted that he gets the loudest pop in the company.

I think I’m a great guy. I think I’m salt of the earth. You kidding me? So I totally agree with Chris. Who doesn’t love me? And that’s the thing, like I said, you’ll find the biggest stars in our industry today are all going through the exact same thing.

This is just true, when I come through the curtain when Roman comes through the curtain, this is a good example. You will hear the crowd and it’s deafening. There’s cheers going on and there’s boos going on. But the most important thing is, it is the loudest it will be all night.

Now, do I feel that there will come a time in my career where I will entire lean into the cheering, I don’t know. What I do know is what I care about the most and that is money. I’m not changing a damn thing.

“I Was Not Prepared” – MJF Reveals That He Wasn’t Ready To Be Cheered In AEW

AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman sat down with Sam Roberts for an interview on Notsam Wrestling and admitted that he was not ready to be cheered by the fans.

Maxwell returned at AEW All Out in September after a hiatus that lasted several months. Stokely Hathaway’s The Firm faction helped a man in a devil mask win the Casino Ladder match.

The man was later revealed to be MJF when he showed up following CM Punk’s victory over Jon Moxley to become AEW World Champion. CM Punk’s title reign would be incredibly short-lived, as he was injured in the match and was also suspended following a brawl with The Elite after his rant at the media scrum.

All of these factors led to MJF receiving a hero’s welcome from the crowd on the following Dynamite. Maxwell has since referred to his fans as his “devil worshippers”.

MJF On Not Being Prepared To Be Cheered

During the interview on Notsam Wrestling, Roberts asked if he was amused by fans who cheer Max because they believe they are in on it. MJF revealed that he was initially not prepared for the fans to start cheering him.

I’m going to be completely transparent, I was not prepared for the devil worshippers. Now I’m all for it. Grab your pitchforks daddy let’s go. I’m all for it.

When I came out I had what used to be called a LoD (Legion of Doom) pop, it is now an MJF pop.

My ears were bleeding and we were in Chicago of all places. When I got to the back, it was that moment I went ‘oh, this is new, okay’.

And the way I look at it now is this, I’m a megastar. When my music hits, I’m going to get a guttural reaction from the fans.

Because there’s nothing like me in professional wrestling. If you want to cheer me, cheer me. If you want to boo me, boo me.

It also seems to be dependent on where we are at. For example, we were just in Philadelphia and I saw people trying to get over the guardrail to get at me.

MJF is in line for a title opportunity at a time in place of his choosing. Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against Hangman Page. on Dynamite on a special Tuesday night episode on October 18th.

Brock Lesnar Attacked The United States Champion

Bobby Lashley was set to defend United States Championship against Seth Rollins tonight on WWE RAW. Lashley called out Seth before the match but The Beast Brock Lesnar showed up instead.

Brock Lesnar made his way to the ring as Bobby stared at him. Lesnar circled Lashley in the ring while posing for the crowd. Brock said “well holy sh**, good evening Brooklyn!” to pop the crowd. Lesnar then said good evening to Lashley and hit the champion with an F5.

The crowd chanted “one more time” and Lesnar nodded. Brock planted Bobby with a German Suplex and then another F5. The crowd chanted “one more time” once again and Brock smiled again. Lesnar applied the Kimura Lock before exiting the ring.

Seth added that Bobby is supposed to a soldier but he’s not, he is a disgrace to the country.

Seth went for the Stomp but Lashley got out of the way. Bobby connected with a Spear but couldn’t go for the cover. The champion went for the Hurt Lock but Rollins attacked the injured arm. Seth connected with a Superkick and followed it up with an elbow strike to the back of Bobby’s head.

Rollins hit the Stomp and fired up the crowd instead of going for the cover. Rollins conducted the crowd to sing his theme before hitting another Stomp for the pinfall victory. Seth Rollins is the new United States Champion.

Byron Saxton interviewed Bobby Lashley backstage and vowed to get revenge on Seth Rollins. Bobby challenged Brock Lesnar to be on RAW next week and said he will show that The Beast is just a little b****.

Bray Wyatt Video, Riddle def. Sami Zayn

A new Bray Wyatt video was shown tonight on WWE RAW. “I used to think that the place inside my head is the place only place I could truly be free. Revel in what you are” was then said over and over again to end the video.

The Honorary Uce battled back and choked Riddle against the ropes. Jey hit Riddle with a cheap shot and Sami yelled at Jey that he can handle this. Zayn hit a springboard Moonsault onto Riddle outside the ring as RAW went to a commercial break.

When RAW returned, Sami hit an elbow to the head off the middle turnbuckle for a two count. Riddle responded with a Pele Kick and both stars fell to the canvas. Matt connected with a Suplex and followed it up with a Broton.

The Rock Officially Acknowledges Roman Reigns As The Tribal Chief

The Rock was interviewed by Chris Van Vliet recently to promote his new film BLACK ADAM. The Warner Bros. film is scheduled to be released on October 21st.

Chris told The Rock that his super power is being kind to people and noted that The Great One has always been respectful towards him.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson noted that being kind is one of the easiest things to do and it takes effort to be an ass****. The Brahma Bull revealed that his weakness was tequila during the interview. The Rock recently launched his Teremana tequila company.

During the conversation, Chris asked The Rock how he would define success. The 50-year-old explained that he defines success by how he makes people feel.

The number one anchoring element is to always make sure that people walk away feeling good. That’s important. They walk out of the theaters feeling good watching a movie, if they are watching it at home, they feel good when the credits are rolling.

There’s a product that I’ve created and delivered, they feel good with that as well. I define success by how it makes people feel. I would also define success by raising some good babies if you are fortunate enough to have some kids.

The Rock Acknowledges Roman Reigns

CVV brought up WWE and asked The Great One if he was still keeping up with what is going on in the company. The Rock admitted that he did and acknowledge Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief because that is his family.

I do (acknowledge The Tribal Chief), it’s my family. I think they are doing a great job (The Bloodline). I think, what an interesting shift that the company has gone through this year, unexpected in many ways.

But when unexpected things happen in that kind of way, especially in that business, you’ve got to have the ability and agility to pivot. Which they have, so with Roman, I think he’s doing a pretty good job. The boys too, The Usos too as well.

Triple H recently spoke with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport and revealed that the window is closing for the dream match between The Rock and Roman Reigns. Roman has held the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for 769 days. The Rock has become massively successful in Hollywood since exiting WWE.

MJF Reveals What He Wants To Accomplish In His Career: “I Don’t Even Like Wrestling”

MJF was a guest on Notsam Wrestling today with Sam Roberts and discussed several topics.

The 26-year-old is line for a shot at the AEW World Championship at a time and place of his choosing. Jon Moxley captured the title at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam by defeating Bryan Danielson in the finals of the Tournament of Champions. Jon will defend the title on a special Tuesday night edition of Dynamite on October 18th.

Speaking on Notsam Wrestling, MJF revealed that he negotiates his own contracts and claimed that it what makes him super rich.

My wrestling deals I have handled my entire career entirely by myself. Which is why I make a stupid amount of money right now at 26 years old.

If I’m being completely honest and transparent, I think it’s definitely fair to say that no one at my age is making the money that I’m making right now in the history of the business.

Like if you back at 26-year-olds, they were not making the amount of money that I’m making right now. Ever, in the history of the business.

Sam Roberts asked if making money was always the most important thing to MJF or if there was a time he just wanted to get better. Maxwell laughed in Sam’s face before giving the following response:

How do you get better when you are already the best? It’s always been about money. It’s not a friend business, right? It’s show business. It’s business. It’s the pro wrestling business. It’s also a sport, don’t get me wrong, but within that sport there is a business.

My goal has always been to make the most amount of money, to then use that to transcend, and enter into the Hollywood sphere.

And then literally leave all my fans in the dust and pretend I never knew they existed in the first place. I don’t even like wrestling.

Here’s the thing, I studied it. I had to in order to be the best. I think through studying it, I grew an appreciation towards profession wrestling.

But once I am done wrestling, you will never see me again. Ever. I am using this sport like a succubus. I am sucking the life out of it, the blood, the money. And then I will be gone.

Maxwell went on to claim that he’s already booked a huge movie that he’s not allowed to announce what it is.

“I Think I Made Him Uncomfortable” – MJF Claims AEW Producer Was In Awe Of How Good He Was

Maxwell Jacob Friedman is one of AEW’s most popular stars today and the devil worshipper’s have gotten behind him since his return at All Out.

The 26-year-old is in line for a shot at the AEW World Championship at a time and place of his choosing. Stokely Hathaway’s The Firm stable helped Maxwell win the Casino Ladder Match at All Out. MJF went on to confront former AEW World Champion CM Punk at the conclusion of the PPV.

MJF On AEW Producer Pat Buck Being In Awe Of Him

MJF joined Sam Roberts on the Notsam Wrestling show today. Sam asked MJF when he realized that he was actually good. Maxwell claimed that AEW VP of Talent Development Pat Buck became “unnerved” at how good he was while training at Create A Pro Wrestling.

I think Pat Buck was unnerved by how good I was on day one. I think it made him uncomfortable. I really do, because I look back on it now and I think about being run through the drills at Create A Pro Wrestling at 18-years old.

You know, doing all of the moves, learning it day one, and just nailing everything. I’m not saying that to be funny, this isn’t hyperbolic, I literally did everything perfectly. I remember Pat just had a look on his face, it was half disdain, and half shock and awe.

Sam asked if Pat Buck is a mentor for MJF in AEW now that he’s a producer in the company. The 26-year-old said that Pat was one of the handful of people he respected, along with Brian Myers, FKA WWE star Curt Hawkins. MJF noted that Create A Pro has created the most stars outside of the PC.

Here’s the deal, there is only a handful of people on the planet that I respect, genuinely respect. He’s one of them, as is Brian Myers, AKA Curt Hawkins.

Backstage Reaction To Bray Wyatt’s Return At WWE Extreme Rules

Bray Wyatt returned to WWE last night at the conclusion of Extreme Rules.

Matt Riddle defeated Seth Rollins in the Fight Pit match in the main event of the PLE. After the match, the lights in Wells Fargo Arena went out and the Firefly Fun House came to life.

The puppets were shown in human form throughout the arena as “he’s got the whole world in his hands” played in the arena. A door then appeared and Bray walked through it to a tremendous reaction from the crowd as Extreme Rules went off the air.

Backstage Reaction To Bray Wyatt’s Return At WWE Extreme Rules

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Bray Wyatt’s return last night was said to be “very well received” backstage within WWE. The company is also happy with the buzz created surrounding the hints and QR codes the past several weeks.

The White Rabbit teaser campaign gave Extreme Rules have a “big night” feel for those in the company. Fightful added that Bray Wyatt also has a good relationship with a new WWE hire.

Rob Fee, WWE’s new Director of Longterm Creative, was recently signed by the promotion. Fee has worked with Marvel Comics and Disney in the past. Rob reportedly also pitched a “Fiend movie” to the company that was well-received, but nothing ever came of it due to Wyatt’s release last year.

Several AEW and WWE stars reacted to Bray Wyatt’s return last night at WWE Extreme Rules. Alexa Bliss welcomed back her old friend and you can check that out here.

3 Things Bray Wyatt Instantly Brings To WWE

After weeks of QR codes, Jefferson Airplane blaring at arenas, and hidden messages, the White Rabbit was finally revealed last night at WWE Extreme Rules.

Matt Riddle defeated Seth “Freakin” Rollins last night in the Fight Pit match at Extreme Rules. Following the match, the lights in the Wells Fargo Arena went out and the Firefly Funhouse puppets were shown in human form in the crowd.

A mysterious door then appeared and Bray Wyatt walked through it to an enormous pop from the crowd as Extreme Rules went off the air.

Here are 3 things Bray Wyatt instantly brings to the WWE:

Buzz

Bray Wyatt’s return has been a huge success for WWE in terms of numbers of social media. The return video on YouTube already has garnered close to 1.7 million views less than 24 hours later.

PWInsider provided the following metrics earlier today and they have already gone up drastically:

  • YouTube: 1.86 million views (between two videos)
  • Twitter: 1.2 million views, 5,252 retweets, 27,200 likes
  • Instagram: 437,045 likes
  • Facebook: Around 500,000 views
  • TikTok: 73,000 views with 20,000 likes

The two videos of Bray’s return (the reveal at the end, Firefly Fun House comes to life) have no accumulated 2.7 million views between the two videos. The numbers provided by PWInsider earlier today were already some of the highest numbers from WWE in 2022. It will be interesting to see how far the views climb over the next few days.

Creativity

WWE’s ‘White Rabbit’ teaser campaign captivated the wrestling world as they tried to put together the pieces from each clue. The QR codes kept viewers locked in and had every wrestling site on the edge of their collective seats trying to post the clues before each other.

It was reported that WWE was mainly “hands off” in the creative process of the White Rabbit campaign because fans were having so much fun with it. The company used fan-assisted viral marketing with the White Rabbit campaign and it was seen as a major success backstage within the company.

Bray Wyatt’s character “The Fiend” wasn’t beloved by every wrestling fan, but there is no doubt that it was creative. The split-personality aspect of the character was compelling as well, as Bray would often portray a demonic Mr. Rogers of sorts in the Firefly Fun House segments. Bray even “wrestled” John Cena in a Firefly Fun House match at WrestleMania 36 in a match you either enjoyed or absolutely hated.

Unfinished Business

Bray Wyatt was released from WWE in July 2021. His final match was a loss against Randy Orton during Night 2 of WrestleMania 37. The Fiend had the match in control but was betrayed by Alexa Bliss at the conclusion of the match. It was never explained why Alexa turned her back on The Fiend and Orton simply moved on from the feud.

Randy spoke with The Ringer Wrestling Show earlier this year about feuding with The Fiend and admitted it was difficult.

You go out there and do your best job. Even though I am lighting a dead guy on fire and he’s the babyface. I had a very hard time trying to make that real, but I feel like I did a good enough job to where even though it was a little cringe-worthy for some people

Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon and Bray Wyatt reportedly had issues during their time working together. AEW star Matt Hardy revealed that Vince and Rotunda (Wyatt) had a strange relationship. Matt claimed that Vince would praise Bray when he did something he liked, but would get overly angry when Wyatt did something he was not a fan of.

Following Vince McMahon’s resignation in late July, Triple H took over the promotion’s creative as the Chief Content Officer. Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan were named the new co-CEOs of the company. Triple H has brought back several released WWE Superstars and Bray Wyatt is the latest at Extreme Rules.

Bray presumably now has more creative freedom than he’s ever had in his career. The Game spoke about Bray before his debut with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport and claimed that Bray can sometimes be a victim of his own mind.

He is one of the most, and I mean this in the best way possible, crazy creative people I’ve ever been around. His mind just never stops thinking of creative, but it’s like being in a whirlwind of stuff, without the harness and without somebody to point the tornado, it’s just all over the place. And he’s a victim of his own mind.

If Triple H can serve as the “harness” for Bray’s tornado of ideas, the WWE Universe could be in store for the best run of Wyatt’s career in years ahead.

“Roman Reigns Can’t Fight… He’s Just A Big Muscular Dude”

Former RAW announcer Jimmy Smith announcer shared some interesting comments about WWE’s top star just a few days after his unexpected departure from the promotion.

WWE recently shook about their announce teams and it resulted in Jimmy Smith being let go from the company. Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick were named the new team for WWE RAW recently. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett were named the announcers for SmackDown. Wade noted that he will not be at SmackDown for long and will be returning for NXT.

Vic Joseph and Booker T were named the new commentary team for NXT. Jimmy reportedly accidentally learned about his firing ahead of time by Triple H and you can check that out here.

Former Colts punter and media personality used to call SmackDown with Michael Cole but his job is on “hold” as he has taken a full-time role with College Gameday on ESPN.

Former WWE RAW Announcer Jimmy Smith On Roman Reigns

Jimmy Smith appeared on MMA on Sirius XM today, less than a week after his departure from WWE. The former RAW announcer spoke about the atmosphere backstage in WWE. He added that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is “just a big muscular dude” that cannot actually fight in real life.

“The WWE behind the scenes is more CM Punk than Brock Lesnar. Does this guy look like he can fight? That is what the WWE is about. Roman Reigns can’t fight. He looks like he can fight. He’s just a big muscular dude. Daniel Cormier does not (look like he can fight). You put (Cormier) next to Brock Lesnar, and it looks like a man and a kid, and WWE is all about that visual.”

UFC legend Daniel Cormier was the special referee for the Fight Pit match last night in the main event of Extreme Rules.

Roman Reigns did not defend his title at last night’s WWE Extreme Rules PLE. The Tribal Chief is set to put the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship next month against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel.
