– As noted, a Battle Royal will air on next Wednesday’s NXT episode to determine who will go against Ember, Peyton Royce and Kairi Sane at Takeover. Participants include Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Taynara Conti, Lacey Evans, Sarah Logan, Dakota Kai, Bianca Blair, Billie Kay, Nikki Cross, Zeda, Mercedes Martinez, Sage Beckett, Vanessa Borne, Santana Garrett, Aliyah, Abbey Laith and Reina Gonzalez.
– The Authors of Pain and WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering returned to NXT TV on tonight’s show during the six-man main event that saw NXT Tag Team Champions SAnitY (Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe) fight The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish) to a No Contest. This is the first TV appearance for Akam and Rezar since they lost the titles to SAnitY at “Takeover: Brooklyn III” in late August.

– As noted, it looks like Sin Cara may receive a future WWE United States Title shot from Baron Corbin after picking up a count out win over the champion on tonight’s SmackDown in Seattle. In the video below, Cara talks to Dasha Fuentes and says it was amazing to be back on the blue brand as The Lone Wolf was defeated tonight. Cara then speaks Spanish with Dasha to end the segment.
– WWE has a new poll asking fans if WWE Champion Jinder Mahal was wise to challenge WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to a match at Survivor Series. As of this writing, 80% voted, “No. Although Jinder Mahal has been a dominant WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar is in a class by himself, and The Modern Day Maharaja has booked himself a one-way ticket to Suplex City.” The rest went with, “Yes. Jinder is looking to prove to the WWE Universe that he is the elite champion in all of WWE, and defeating Lesnar would cement that claim.”
– As noted, a Championship Edition of Drew Gulak’s PowerPoint Presentation will air on the WWE TLC Kickoff pre-show this coming Sunday in Minneapolis. Below are videos from tonight’s presentation on WWE 205 Live, which led to the TLC segment being announced for “No Chants” Gulak:
– Below is the latest vignette for Erick Rowan and Luke Harper’s return as The Bludgeon Brothers. No word yet on when the former WWE NXT Tag Team Champions will make their returns to SmackDown together but we will keep you updated.
– The dark main event after tonight’s WWE 205 Live in Seattle saw AJ Styles defeat WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in a non-title match. AJ picked up the win with the Phenomenal Forearm.
– As seen on tonight’s SmackDown, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn took shots at SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan for his in-ring career being over. Bryan tweeted the following in response to this fan tweet that mentioned Bryan’s contract ending next September. Bryan’s contract reportedly ends the final week of September 2018. For those who missed the segment, it should be noted that Sami did not mention September 2018.

Samoa Joe is the new #1 contender to Brock Lesnar’s RAW Universal Championship after winning the Fatal 5 Way main event of Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
Joe defeated Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt to earn the shot at Lesnar, which is scheduled for next month’s Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view.
On the RAW Talk post-show that took place after Extreme Rules, Joe says he’s fully prepared for his ‘dream match’ with the Beast Incarnate.
It’s been a quick rise to the top for Joe, who made his main roster debut back in January as the hired gun of Triple H. Brock Lesnar will have his hands full in his first title defense, as Joe is one of the most physical athletes on the RAW roster.

Alberto El Patron became just the second-ever GFW Global Champion by defeating Magnus in the main event of Thursday’s Impact On POP broadcast.

Magnus became the inaugural champion back in October 2015 at GFW TV tapings that never aired. The GFW Global Championship appears to be a regular title on Impact Wrestling going forward as GFW and Impact recently merged with Jeff Jarrett’s return to the company.
In the video above, the new Global Champion talks about how he came to Impact looking for a new place to call home and thanks to the fans, he can now borrow a line from fiancee Paige – this is his house. Patron gives props to Magnus and thanks him for the match, then promises to do amazing things for the Impact fans as long as they continue to support him.

Alexa Bliss made history at last night’s WWE Payback pay-per-view when she defeated hometown star Bayley for the RAW Women’s Championship. Bliss is now the first to hold both the SmackDown Women’s Championship (twice) and the RAW Women’s Championship.
It’s an impressive feat for Bliss, who was one of seven NXT Superstars drafted to the main roster last July. Of that group, a strong case could be made that Bliss has had the most success in WWE.
After her heartbreaking loss at Payback, Bayley was interviewed backstage and said it doesn’t matter that she dropped the title in front of her hometown crowd. The symbol of her long journey and her hard work now sits around the waist of Alexa Bliss, whom Bayley says has no respect for anybody. With a dejected tone, Bayley admitted, “I’m not happy and it sucks.”
