Chaos At Today’s WWE TV Tapings, Shane McMahon Returning for RAW

WWE has announced that Shane McMahon will return on tonight’s RAW episode.

McMahon has been off WWE TV since losing the Career vs. Career Ladder Match to Kevin Owens on the October 4th SmackDown FOX premiere last year. There is no word yet on what he will be doing during tonight’s RAW.

In other news for tonight’s RAW, it’s been reported by multiple sources that there is “chaos” at the RAW tapings. The news was first reported by Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda.

WWE is taping two RAW episodes at the Performance Center today and it was reported that there is “chaos from the top” and that the shows are being ran with crews who are “totally unprepared.”

The first episode being taped, to air tonight, is reportedly changing on the fly, while the second episode, airing next week, is still incomplete. It was also said that there is a lack of leadership and a lot of stress that’s being blamed on indecisiveness.

Vince McMahon is at the tapings today and his mood was said to be “volatile” due to the indecisiveness and the chaos.

It will be interesting to see how tonight’s show comes off on TV as it was said by a source that, “what’s going on today seems even wilder than usual.”

Stay tuned for RAW updates and remember to join us for live coverage at 8PM EST tonight. Here is the announced line-up for tonight:

* Apollo Crews defends the United States Championship against MVP in the opener

* Drew McIntyre addresses Randy Orton’s recent attack

* Asuka looks for revenge on Sasha Banks and Bayley

* Shane McMahon returns

Spoiler: Big Name To Make AEW Debut Next Week

Eric Bischoff is reportedly making his AEW debut next week.

Reddit user SpaceForce1, who previously provided correct Dynamite spoilers after being a member of the crowd at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, reports that Bischoff will appear during next Wednesday’s taped Dynamite episode on TNT.

Bischoff will reportedly appear during the debate segment between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy. AEW previously announced that the debate will feature a special guest moderator, which apparently is Bischoff.

There is no word yet on if Bischoff will work with AEW past this segment. He has been without a job in pro wrestling since being released from his role as SmackDown Executive Director in October 2019, just a few months after WWE hired him in June 2019.

AEW President & CEO Tony Khan previously praised the former WCW President during the 83 Weeks podcast hosted by Bischoff and Conrad Thompson. Khan stated that there would be no AEW without Bischoff.

“Just so you know, and over the course of this conversation I’m sure it will come across, I am such a huge fan of your work and you are such an incredible innovator in the business,” Khan said to Bischoff during the 83 Weeks interview.

“I wouldn’t be here and there would not be an AEW without you and there would not be wrestling on TNT right now without you,” Khan continued. “You gave me the opening to talk to the President of TNT to talk about the previous success you’d had on his network which he didn’t realize because it’s been 20 years.”

Here is the announced line-up for next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode on TNT:

* Jon Moxley defends the AEW World Championship against Darby Allin

* The Dark Order vs. FTR and The Elite in a 12-man tag team match

* MJF delivers another State of the Industry Address

* Matt Cardona’s in-ring debut, teaming with TNT Champion Cody vs. The Dark Order’s John Silver and Alex Reynolds

* Chris Jericho debates Orange Cassidy with a special guest moderator

Heath Slater To Challenge For The TNA World Heavyweight Championship

The former Heath Slater (Heath Miller) will make his in-ring debut for Impact Wrestling next Tuesday night on AXS TV.

Impact has announced that the four-time WWE Tag Team Champion, who is now going by just the “Heath” name, will challenge TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose on next week’s Impact Wrestling episode.

Heath first debuted for Impact on July 18th at the Slammiversary pay-per-view. He then declared himself to be a free agent, but was interrupted by Rohit Raju. Heath fought Raju off, and then had a brief backstage segment with his former WWE partner, Rhino. Heath was told to leave the arena by Impact executive Scott D’Amore, because he wasn’t an employee. This week’s Impact episode saw Heath interrupt a Moose interview. Moose invited Slater to come back next week for a match, and D’Amore agreed.

Heath was released from his WWE contract back on April 15th due to the cuts brought on by the negative impact of COVID-19. He had been with WWE since first signing a developmental deal in 2004.

Below is the current line-up for next Tuesday’s Impact episode:

* Rich Swann will make an announcement

* Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns will give an interview

* X Division Champion Chris Bey and Rohit Raju vs. Fallah Bahh and TJP

* World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards will put the title on the line in an Open Challenge

Aleister Black Written Off WWE TV?, Seth Rollins Shows Welts From Attack

WWE may have temporarily written Aleister Black out of the storylines this week.

Monday’s RAW featured an angle where Murphy put Black’s eye into the corner of the ring steps, as Seth Rollins did with Rey Mysterio weeks before. Black came into this week’s RAW wearing a cast on his arm from the Monday before, which saw Rollins deliver a Stomp to the arm on the outside of the ring.

The original creative plans were for Rollins and Murphy to take Black out of action with an injury angle, according to Wrestling Observer Radio.

It was not clear if this was the angle to put Black on the shelf, or how long they plan for him to be away. It’s interesting that they would put another wrestler out of action given the lack of depth on the roster right now.

The RAW ringside angle with Black, Rollins and Murphy also featured Dominik Mysterio. Mysterio had taken a double team beatdown when Black came to make the save. The angle ended with Dominik snapping with a kendo stick, attacking Rollins and Murphy until they retreated to the back.

Rollins took to Twitter after the show and revealed the welts on his back from the kendo stick. He gave props to some of his fellow RAW Superstars for a “helluva show,” but added that the one bad part was “that stubborn Mysterio kid.”

“Randy at his best. Sasha-Asuka title fight. Drew/Zigman pulling out all the stops. Lashley/Ali. Murphy with the W. #WWERaw with a helluva show. The only hiccup was that stubborn Mysterio kid. #thegreatergood,” Rollins wrote.

Angel Garza Gets Married To Zaide Lozano

Congratulations to WWE RAW Superstar Angel Garza on getting married to Zaide Lozano earlier this week.

Lozano revealed the wedding in two Instagram posts on Thursday. You can see those posts with photos below.

“Just Married ! JUST MARRIED! YES, yes for life! I love you,” she wrote in a translated post.

Lozano, who is a Mexican sports TV host, said yes when Garza proposed to her live on WWE NXT TV back in December. Garza popped the question in the middle of the ring following his NXT Cruiserweight Championship win over Lio Rush. It was believed that the wedding was being planned as Lozano posted about having her bachelorette party back in mid-March, which you can see below. Lozano then appeared on the April 13th RAW episode, posing as a ringside photographer during one of Garza’s entrance. While Lozano was not named on commentary, she received a rose and a kiss from Garza at ringside.

There’s no word yet on a honeymoon for The Garzas, or any time off for Garza. He and partner Andrade have been focused on the RAW Tag Team Championships as of late, and Monday’s RAW will feature a Triple Threat with the winners becoming the new #1 contenders to The Street Profits for a title match at SummerSlam. The match will see Garza and Andrade vs. The Viking Raiders vs. Cedric Alexander and Ricochet.

Below are a few photos of Garza and Lozano from their wedding, plus a few posts related to her WWE TV appearances:

WWE NXT UK Returning With A Tournament?, Vignette Airs For NXT UK Superstar

A tournament for the WWE NXT UK brand could be announced soon.

WWE filed to trademark “Heritage Cup” and “NXT UK Heritage Cup” on July 20th. This appears to be the name of a planned tournament for the brand.

The following trademark use description was filed for each name with the USPTO (United States Patent & Trademark Office):

“IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fans; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”

The status of the NXT UK brand has been up in the air as of late due to the coronavirus pandemic. There is no word yet on when they will be able to start taping new content, but now it looks like they could return in a big way with a tournament.

Despite the hiatus for the brand, the weekly NXT UK show on the WWE Network has continued to air during the pandemic. There has been no new content for several months now, but they are airing “Best Of” or compilation shows each Thursday.

This week’s NXT UK show was another “Best Of” show but they did air a vignette for Saxon Huxley. NXT UK’s “Best Of” shows usually feature older matches, but recently they started airing talent vignettes to build Superstars up for when the brand returns to normal operations. Huxley’s new vignette featured a promo on how he’s been in solitude for too long, watching everything get torn down to ruins. Huxley said he’s coming for everyone after being locked away for too long, and he has a plan to wash the world away. He went on to declare that this is his birth, and the end of everyone else.

Huxley tweeted a screenshot from the vignette, seen below. He wrote, “ISOLATION. THE BIRTH OF ME. THE END OF YOU. THERE HE GOES. #NXTUK [chains emoji]”

It’s worth noting that the NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin event is still on the schedule for Sunday, October 25th at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. That event was originally scheduled for April 26th, and was pushed back due to COVID-19.

WWE Announces SummerSlam Location Change Due To COVID-19

WWE has confirmed that next month’s SummerSlam pay-per-view will not take place from Boston, MA at the TD Garden arena as scheduled.

In a press release sent in to SEScoops.com, WWE announced that the change was made due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The company thanked the city of Boston for working with them on the ill-fated event:

“We are grateful to the city of Boston for their longstanding partnership and look forward to holding WWE events at TD Garden in the future.”

Fans who purchased tickets for the original SummerSlam Week events can receive refunds via the original point of purchase.

The ‘biggest event of the summer’ takes place Sunday, August 23rd and will air live on the WWE Network. WWE will announce a new venue for SummerSlam in the coming weeks. It will likely take place from the Performance Center in Orlando.

It was announced this week’s episode of NXT TV that TakeOver: XXX is taking place during SummerSlam weekend on Saturday, August 22nd.

Stay tuned for more details on SummerSlam as they become available.

AEW Star Reportedly Suffers Concussion, More Potential Injuries On Dynamite

There were several potential injuries coming out of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode.

Darby Allin reportedly suffered a concussion during his segment with Brian Cage and Ricky Starks, according to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio.

The injury reportedly occurred after Starks attacked Allin from behind to begin the double team attack. Allin had come to the ring to confront Cage. Starks and Cage were preparing to use Allin’s skateboard on him when Jon Moxley made the save with a barbed wire baseball bat, clearing the ring.

AEW later announced Allin and Moxley vs. Starks and Cage in a Texas Tornado match for next week’s Dynamite episode. However, that match may be nixed due to the concussion to Allin.

In other injury news from Dynamite, it was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that The Young Bucks, The Butcher and The Blade were shaken & banged up coming out of their Falls Count Anywhere match.

The finish to the match saw The Young Bucks place The Butcher and The Blade onto tables on the stage. The Bucks then climbed to the top of the tunnels to finish their opponents off. Matt Jackson was described as “pretty messed up” after putting The Butcher through a table because the table leg jammed his knee. Nick Jackson was said to be “pretty shaken up” after putting The Blade through a table.

It remains to be seen if the two tag teams will miss any ring time, and there’s no word yet on the severity of their injuries. It was said that The Blade, Matt and Nick were “pretty messed up” after the match ended.

Update On AEW Women’s Tag Tournament, First Team Announced

AEW has announced an 8-team Women’s Tag Tournament is taking place this summer. The event has the tagline, Deadly Draw. Eight teams will compete in single-elimination tournament. The tournament winners will be awarded a cup trophy.

While no start date has been announced as of this writing, it’s likely that the finals will take place at or around AEW’s next pay-per-view – All Out on September 5th. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, company officials are confident this will become an annual event.

AEW Women’s Tag Team Tournament

The first team confirmed for the inaugural tournament is the Nightmare Sisters: Brandi Rhodes and Allie.

https://twitter.com/AllieWrestling/status/1286101164031868929

It will be interesting to see if Nyla Rose and her new manager Vickie Guerrero end up being one of the teams. They were featured in the promo for the tournament, and Guerrero has wrestled some in the past.

The company might have to scout female talent outside of the AEW roster, since some women are still impacted by COVID-19-related travel issues (and injuries).

AEW has held several tournaments in the company’s short history. Previous tournaments have been held to determine a #1 contenders to crown the first AEW World Championship (won by Chris Jericho and Hangman Page), a tournament to crown the first World Tag Team Champions (won by SCU) and most recently, Cody winning a tournament to become the first AEW TNT champion.

You can watch the first promo video for the Deadly Draw tournament below:

Kevin Dunn Reportedly Upset During WWE Extreme Rules Match

WWE Executive Vice President of Television Production Kevin Dunn was reportedly upset during The Horror Show at Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

There were said to be some “production snafus” that took place during the match between Sasha Banks and RAW Women’s Champion Asuka, according to Fightful.

Dunn, who has been with WWE for more than 20 years, was said to be upset because cameras were catching SmackDown Women’s Bayley in spots where they weren’t supposed to.

While exact instances were not provided, it was noted that the issues “set Kevin Dunn off.”

The snafus were not considered to be significant, but it was enough of a situation that Dunn reportedly shouted at people for not protecting the talent on camera.

The Banks vs. Asuka match ended in controversy after the referee went down by taking errant mist from the champion. Bayley, who had been at ringside to support Banks, then took the referee’s shirt and went on to count a pin for Banks. They quickly escaped with Asuka’s belt, but she is still considered the official champion.

Next Monday’s RAW will feature Banks vs. Asuka in a match where the title can be decided by pinfall, submission, count out or DQ, including outside interference.

First Spot Confirmed For NXT TakeOver: XXX Ladder Match, Second Qualifier Announced

Bronson Reed has qualified for the first spot in the Ladder Match for the vacant WWE NXT North American Championship at TakeOver: XXX.

Reed earned the first spot by winning a Triple Threat over Johnny Gargano and Roderick Strong on Wednesday’s NXT show.

The second spot will be decided next Wednesday with Finn Balor vs. Timothy Thatcher vs. Dexter Lumis. There will be a total of 5 competitors in the Ladder Match at TakeOver, but WWE has not announced who will be in the next three Triple Threat qualifiers on NXT.

As reported before, Wednesday’s NXT show opened with Keith Lee relinquishing the NXT North American Championship. The storyline is that he wants to continue on as NXT Champion, but doesn’t want to hold other competitors back, and wants them to have the same opportunities that he had. It was then announced that the Ladder Match for the vacant championship will take place at NXT’s 30th TakeOver event.

NXT TakeOver: XXX will air on Saturday, August 22nd during SummerSlam Weekend, from the campus of Full Sail University.

Below is a promo to promote next week’s Triple Threat with Balor issuing a warning to Thatcher and Lumis:

The Undertaker Joins TikTok

The Undertaker is venturing into the world of TikTok.

The WWE Legend launched an official TikTok account this week, which can be found at @undertaker. He currently has 50,700 followers.

The Dead Man shocked fans around the world in May 2018 when he created an Instagram account. He then launched a Twitter account in January 2019.

Undertaker appeared on The Bill Simmons Podcast back in May of this year and talked about why he got into social media.

“I got a social media account, it’s probably less than two years, right? You know, the writing was on the wall,” he said. “I got more matches behind me than I do in front of me. And, people are saying like, ‘Dude, you need to get yourself out there because your wrestling career is coming to an end. Now, it’s time to cash in on the brand, you know, the stuff that you didn’t do all these years.'”

TikTok launched in September 2016 but has become a household name in the past year. The video-sharing social platform is especially popular with teenagers, and most of the half-a-billion-plus users are under the age of thirty. The website is facing a possible ban by the United States government due to its parent company’s authoritarian links to the Chinese government. The Guardian recently reported on privacy, data and national security concerns that has led to ongoing controversy for the site from multiple countries.

Taker has not started creating content on TikTok as of this writing, but below is a screenshot of the account:

Curt Hawkins Sends Virtual Superkick To Vince McMahon After Impact Return Announcement

The former Curt Hawkins is set to make his Impact Wrestling return soon.

A new vignette aired for Brian Myers during Tuesday’s Impact episode, which you can see below. The teaser included Hawkins in and around a wrestling ring while several phrases were called out, including “Close your mouth, open your ears,” and, “Trust the process, just missing something…”

Myers tweeted WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon after the show and officially moved on from his former employer.

“Well, @VinceMcMahon,” Myers wrote. “I’m sorry, I love you. *superkick @IMPACTWRESTLING Let’s. Go.”

The virtual superkick is a reference to WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels, from their Career Threatening Match at WrestleMania 24. You may recall how Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music twice on Flair, then told him, “I’m sorry, I love you.” The finish to that match then saw Shawn deliver another superkick to Flair, to get the pin and put an emotional end his in-ring career.

Myers became a free agent last week after his 90-day non-compete with WWE expired. He had been released in mid-April, along with dozens of talent and employees, due to COVID-19 and the negative impact it had on WWE business.

Myers originally worked for WWE from February 24th, 2006 through June 12th, 2014. He held the RAW Tag Team Titles once during that run, with Zack Ryder. He then had a run on the indies and in Impact Wrestling, when it was still known as TNA, and had one run as TNA Tag Team Champion with Trevor Lee (NXT’s Cameron Grimes). WWE brought Myers back on July 21, 2016, and he would go on to become a two-time RAW Tag Team Champion with Ryder.

Impact has not announced when Myers will return to the ring, but we will keep you updated on when that is.

Motor City Machine Guns End The North’s Historic Run With The Impact Tag Team Titles

The Motor City Machine Guns have captured the Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championships.

Tuesday’s Impact Wrestling episode on AXS TV saw Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin defeat The North’s Josh Alexander and Ethan Page to take home the gold. The finish to the match featured Sabin countering The Northern Assault to roll Page up for the win.

Sabin and Shelley are now two-time tag team champions for the promotion. Their first championship reign came in 2010 when Impact Wrestling was still known as TNA. The North’s championship reign lasted 383 days, making them the longest-reigning tag team champions in promotion history.

Page and Alexander won the titles back in July 2019 by defeating LAX during Impact’s The Bash At The Brewery event, which was co-promoted with River City Wrestling.

The MCMG just returned to Impact at Saturday’s Slammiversary pay-per-view, defeating The Rascalz after answering their open challenge. Sabin and Shelley later challenged The North during a segment on the pay-per-view, and the match was made for tonight’s post-Slammiversary episode.

Video: MCMG Win Impact Tag Titles

Watch the Motor City Machine Guns capture the Impact Wrestling World tag team championships below:

Shelley took to Twitter after the match and gave praise to The North.

“I can honestly say that The North are one of the best teams I have been in with. And I have been in with all of the best teams in the past 15 years,” he wrote.

Shelley made a follow-up tweet and mentioned FTR, writing, “Edit: All the best teams except FTR, those dudes rule real hard.”

WWE Legend Says Drew McIntyre Is Doing An Excellent Job As Champion

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is doing an excellent job leading the company during the COVID-19 era, according to Mick Foley.

Foley tweeted praise for McIntyre this week and commented on his championship run during these unprecedented times for the pro wrestling industry.

“@WWE Champion @DMcIntyreWWE is doing an excellent job holding down the fort during unprecedented tough times. I hope he gets to address live crowds during his title reign, to get the #RoadWarriorPop he deserves. #RAW,” Foley wrote.

Natalya responded to Foley’s tweet and agreed with the WWE Hall of Famer.

McIntyre won the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 in April, a month into the coronavirus pandemic and the closed-set WWE TV tapings. He is rumored to defend the championship against Randy Orton at SummerSlam next month, and could get to represent the company in front of fans if WWE is able to have regular crowds in the fall, as has been rumored.

John Cena Strips While Discussing COVID-19 Conspiracy Theories (Video)

WWE legend John Cena appeared on HBO’s “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” this past weekend. Cena participated in a segment dedicated debunking Coronavirus conspiracy theories.

Cena disrobed as he ran down some basic fact-checking about the virus. He joked that he and host John Oliver were both born on April 23rd, 1977, however their bodies haven’t aged the same.

“There’s a lot of official looking stuff on the internet, but not all of it’s true,” Cena said. “And there’s some stuff that seems false, but isn’t. Like this one – John Oliver and I are the exact same age. Yep, born on the same year and on the exact same day. That seems impossible that two human bodies can age so differently, but it’s true. I checked, and it’s important to do that.

“So before you go believing a theory about the pandemic or share any information about the pandemic, it’s good to know where that information is coming from.”

Cena joined Alex Trebek, Paul Rudd, Catherine O’Hara, and Billy Porter as celebrities used for this coronavirus conspiracy theories episode. Their individual videos can be found at TheTrueTrueTruth.com.

Cena has been away from WWE since losing the Firefly Fun House match to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36.

You can watch the John Cena stripping segment below. The full episode can be seen on YouTube.

Mustafa Ali Back At WWE TV This Week

Mustafa Ali is currently backstage for the WWE RAW TV tapings in Orlando.

Ali’s return to WWE television has not been confirmed, but PWInsider reports that he is at the Performance Center for today’s RAW tapings, which will air tonight and next Monday night.

Ali is currently a member of the SmackDown roster, but it was reported several weeks ago that WWE had plans to move him to the RAW roster, and bring him back to TV as a RAW Superstar.

There had been rumors on Ali being the mystery hacker for the recent SmackDown storyline, but all signs point to WWE dropping that angle. Ali has not wrestled on TV since the SmackDown episode on December 13th, 2019. That show featured Ali and Shorty G losing to The Revival, who are no longer with the company. Ali then wrestled and won 6 dark matches in January and February, but has not been seen since.

Former NXT Wrestler Tino Sabbatelli To Make AEW Dark Debut

AEW has announced that former NXT wrestler Tino Sabbatelli (Sabatino Piscitelli) will make his debut on Tuesday’s Dark episode.

Tino, using the name “Sabby” now, will team with Brady Pierce to face The Best Friends in tag team action.

This will be Tino’s first appearance since being released from NXT in mid-April along with other employees due to the negative impact of COVID-19. A former NFL player, Tino was signed by WWE in the fall of 2014. He teamed with Riddick Moss at times in NXT, but his run was interrupted by various injuries.

AEW has not announced that Tino has signed a contract, but wrestlers used on Dark often are not under contract yet.

AEW Dark airs each Tuesday night at 7PM ET on the AEW YouTube channel. The following matches were announced for this week:

– Kilynn King vs. Diamante

– Sabby and Brady Pierce vs. Best Friends

– Aaron Solow vs. Scorpio Sky

– Rache Chanel vs. Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida

– Peter Avalon and Brandon Cutler vs. The Butcher and The Blade

– Kip Sabian vs. Corey Hollis

– Will Hobbs vs. Ricky Starks

– Darby Allin vs. Robert Anthony

Backstage News On The Finish To Asuka vs. Sasha Banks At Extreme Rules

Vince McMahon reportedly changed the finish to the Raw Women’s Championship match between Asuka and Sasha Banks at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules on Sunday.

The original plan for the match had Asuka defeating Banks to retain the title. However, Vince McMahon made a late call and changed the finish at the last minute, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

There was no reason given for why Vince made the change.

Banks vs. Asuka ended in controversy as the referee took errant green mist from Asuka, blinding him while Bayley counted the pin for Banks. Bayley then intimidated the timekeeper into ringing the bell to end the match. Banks’ theme music then played as Bayley presented her with the Raw Women’s Championship.

Banks and Bayley later promised to explain what happened during tonight’s Raw on the USA Network, where they will also celebrate their wins at Extreme Rules. Below is post-PPV footage of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions making their escape with the gold:

It should be noted that WWE still lists Asuka as the Raw Women’s Champion.

Banks tweeted after Extreme Rules and commented on how The Golden Role Models are taking over.

“Officially taking over the whole company! Jajajajjajajajajajajajjajajajajajja #2beltzbanks #ExtremeRule,” she wrote.

MJF Accuses Jon Moxley Of Holding Him Back In AEW

MJF is accusing AEW World Champion Jon Moxley of holding him back.

MJF, who recently celebrated his 1 year anniversary with AEW, responded to a fan on Twitter who expressed frustration over how he’s not in the world championship chase and hasn’t been on TV every week. MJF tweeted back and called Moxley out, teasing that things may be changing soon.

“It’s almost as if there’s a certain individual in the company who doesn’t want me to be spotlighted. There may be a ‘paradigm shift’ in how things are run around here #notmychampion,” MJF wrote.

Update: MJF continues to take digs at Moxley on social media. On Monday afternoon, MJF wrote the following and tagged the tweet, #NotMyChampion:

It is believed that MJF is a strong contender to challenge Moxley for the AEW World title at All Out on Saturday, September 5th.

MJF recently spent some time at the top of the weekly men’s division rankings, but he was bumped from that #1 spot last week by Brian Cage, on the day of Cage’s championship match with Moxley on the Fight for the Fallen edition of AEW Dynamite. Cage lost that match, and it’s been rumored that Moxley’s next feud would be with MJF.

MJF will be in action this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite Wardlow will be in his corner. With Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen in the books, don’t be surprised if we see MJF continue his campaign against AEW Champion Jon Moxley.
