Jordynne Grace: From WWE Diva Hopeful To Juggernaut

Jordynne Grace has arrived in WWE, but the Juggernaut’s journey to the company has been a dream in the making since childhood. Speaking on the Insight podcast before her WWE signing became public, Grace was asked if joining the promotion’s roster had always been her ultimate goal.

“I just wanted to wrestle when I was a kid, but I also wanted to be a Diva. That’s the era I was watching. So I wanted to be like one of the models.”

Grace would stumble upon TNA Wrestling a few years before beginning her training, and the company would showcase women’s wrestling outside of WWE’s divas division. It was seeing women outside of WWE’s mold that made Grace realize a future in the ring was possible.

“The variation in WWE and TNA at the time was huge, obviously. I saw women like Awesome Kong and I was like dang, maybe I could be like that.”

Grace tried out for WWE in 2018 but it wouldn’t be until the 2024 Royal Rumble that she made her WWE debut. Reflecting on her arrival, Grace recalled being worried nobody in the crowd would know of her.

“I expected to come out there and no one was gonna know who I was. It was my first time being in WWE at all, so I didn’t expect people to know who I was.”

Grace didn’t just receive recognition last year, but her Rumble appearance opened the door for the multi-year WWE-TNA partnership that has proven to be a hit. While Grace’s days as a TNA Knockout are over, fans can expect many more epic moments from the Juggernaut, perhaps as soon as this weekend.

During the January 27, edition of WWE Raw, Rhodes spoke to the crowd in Atlanta about this weekend’s 2025 Royal Rumble PLE, where he’ll face Kevin Owens in a ladder match.

“We’ve been recording him since a few years ago. I mean, the first time he recorded, he was still wearing the neck brace. We’re very fortunate to have E, he’s incredible, he’s been the absolute best to work with. I love him.”

On X, Big E confirmed the news and shared how excited he is to bring his voice to the animated series.

There’s no word on who Big E will voice on the show, but his role is another step for the former World Champion outside of the ring. In October 2024, Big E landed a role on Peacock’s Laid, showing that the injured wrestler still has plenty to give in entertainment.

Big E Breaks Silence On New Day Betrayal: I Don’t Recognize Them

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman will follow the iconic web-slinger’s early days as a superhero as he tries to balance heroics and high-school life. The show will deviate from the popular Marvel Cinematic Universe as Peter Parker will be mentored by Norman Osborn instead of Tony Stark.

Major League Soccer Moves Production To WWE Stuidos

Major League Soccer (MLS) is moving its entire production operation to WWE’s state-of-the-art studios in Stamford, Connecticut. MLS Season Pass, the league’s Apple TV-based streaming service, will now be produced at The Studios at WWE. The 30,000 square-foot facility opened in April 2024.

Speaking to Sports Business Journal, Seth Bacon, MLS EVP of Media, addressed the move.

“The goal of moving to this new facility is to get everyone into one place, everyone working together, focused on how we produce the same amount of content at higher quality.”

Beyond MLS Season Pass, The Studios at WWE will also oversee graphics production for over 600 live matches per year, in addition to short-form content for MLS social media channels and other league content partners. This move comes amid MLS’ ten-year broadcasting deal with Apple Inc that was announced in 2022 and began with the 2023 season.

For decades, WWE has remained on the forefront of improving its production, including moving to HD in 2008. In 2024, Lee Fitting replaced Kevin Dunn as WWE’s Head of Production, and his work has been praised by fans and insiders alike.

MLS teaming up with WWE’s production powerhouse is an unexpected crossover but will see the soccer league benefit from WWE’s high quality level of production. It remains to be seen if WWE and MLS experience any crossover on-screen with this move to The Studios but fans know not to count anything out in this current era for the promotion.

Liv Morgan: From Hooters Waitress to Elite WWE Talent

Liv Morgan recently opened up about her journey from Hooters waitress to the top of WWE, a path that has shown her resilienc and determination. The former Women’s World Champion shared her inspiring story on the Pod Meets World podcast, where she spoke with hosts Will Friedle, Danielle Fishel, and Rider Strong about the moments that defined her career.

An Unlikely Start

Morgan’s WWE journey began in Hooters, where she’d meet renowned strength coach Joe DeFranco. After sharing her love of wrestling, Liv was invited to DeFranco’s gym where she “just kept up” with NFL athletes. Impressed by her grit, DeFranco, who trained Triple H, contacted WWE on her behalf, opening the door to her future.

Overcoming the WWE Tryout

Liv’s 2014 tryout was a gruelling three-day process that pushed her to the limit. On the podcast, Morgan recalled trying to stay focused when everyone around her seemed to be falling apart.

“People were vomiting, getting concussed, and I doubled up to keep things even in the ring.”

Despite being inexperienced, Morgan’s perserverance won out and she impressed WWE’s coaches. Not long after the tryout, she’d be offered a contract. Her on-screen debut would come not as a wrestler, but as a planted fan who jumped the barricade to get close to Tyler Breeze during his NXT TakeOver: Rival entrance in February 2015.

Living a Family Dream

Morgan had been a wrestling fan for years before reaching WWE, making her arrival a dream come true. On the podcast, Morgan recalled loving wrestling with her four older brothers, who remain her biggest supporters to this day.

“It wasn’t just my dream—it was our family dream. The fact that one of us made it feels surreal to them.”

A Story of Resilience

Since her in-ring debut as ‘Local Competitor’ against Eva Marie on the November 4, 2015, episode of NXT, Morgan has risen to become one of WWE’s leading women. A spell of injuries in 2023 could not keep Morgan down, and 2024 saw her win both the Women’s World Championship and the first ever Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Now, attention turns to Morgan’s performance in this weekend’s 30-Woman Royal Rumble match, a match she was the runner-up in last year. Keep following SEScoops for all the latest WWE updates as the Road to WrestleMania heats up.

WWE 2K25 Deadman Edition Announced, Featuring The Undertaker

WWE 2K25 will feature a special Deadman Edition of the game, centered around the legendary Hall of Famer, The Undertaker. On X, the WWE 2K account confirmed the news with a chilling image of the Phenom.

Currently, no additional details about the Deadman Edition have been revealed. However, if previous entries in the WWE 2K series are any indication, fans can likely expect exclusive costumes for The Undertaker as part of this edition. Special editions of WWE 2K games typically release a few days before the standard edition, allowing players early access to the game.

The Undertaker is no stranger to appearing in WWE video games, having first entered the gamer-verse with 1992’s WWF Super WrestleMania. WWE 2K25 will mark the Phenom’s 66th time being part of a WWE-licensed game, and his 19th time adorning a cover.

The Undertaker Mentors WWE’s Next Generation in A&E’s LFG

2K Games has confirmed a star-studded roster for WWE 2K25, including top superstars and champions. Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Bayley, Damian Priest, and Liv Morgan have all been confirmed, demonstrated the promotion’s current stacked roster. Speculation is running rife about features for the game, including a possible return of intergender wrestling matches.

The WWE 2K25 Deadman Edition reflects The Undertaker’s continued legacy in wrestling, close to five years after his final match. Fans will no-doubt enjoy playing as the Phenom and terrorizing the WWE roster just as The Undertaker himself did for decades.

Fans Blast Tony Khan with NSFW Chant at Ricky Starks Match

Ricky Starks made a rare in-ring appearance at a House of Glory live event, and the crowd made their feelings known with a loud and clear message. During Starks’ match, fans erupted into a “F*** TK” chant—a direct shot at AEW President Tony Khan. Despite being one of AEW’s most promising stars, Starks has not been seen in AEW programming since March of last year.

The chant reflects growing discontent among AEW fans, who have been eager to see Starks back on the company’s programming. Once positioned as a future main eventer in the company, Starks’ career came to a halt in March 2024, after he and Big Bill lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships to Darby Allin and Sting.

Starks was pulled from a planned appearance at Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) last year, despite not being used by AEW. It was later reported that Tony Khan ordered Starks’ removal from the show after a comment made by EFFY about Khan’s father. Not only was Starks pulled from the event, but it was later stated that he would not be allowed to participate at future GCW shows.

Ricky Starks Reportedly Denied Release from AEW

Starks himself has addressed his absence in interviews and though he has theories, has not been given a reason as to why he’s not being used. It remains to be seen if Starks ever competes for AEW again, but fans are certainly frustrated with Khan’s decision to not use the former World Tag Team Champion.

Scott Steiner Shares Travel Woes With ’51st State’ Canada

Donald Trump’s efforts to force Canada into becoming the 51st state has caught a lot of attention ever since his Presidential win last November. Now, this idea has received the backing of Scott Steiner, who took to X to share his negative experience with the Great White North.

The WWE Hall of Famer shared that he was heading to Canada for a charity event, and speculated as to why entering the country proved to be an issue.

Trump’s plan for Canada has proven to be divisive, with people north of the border sharing their opposition to the idea. Despite the president’s claim that “Many Canadians” want for this to happen, a poll from Angus Reid found that 90% of Canadians asked are against the idea.

The Garcia Twins WWE Return?

Garcia’s presence at the game comes amid reports that she and her sister Nikki could be heading back to WWE in the near future. Nikki has been in talks with WWE about a return, though there’s no word on how far these discussions have progressed. The longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion was also spotlighted in the crowd during WWE Raw’s debut on Netflix.

Speaking at the red carpet premiere ahead of the January 6, show, Nikki teased that both she and her sister could return to WWE. The pair last competed for WWE in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match. GUNTHER Shares Warning To Jey Uso After Recent Victory

At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, GUNTHER retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso. Taking to X after the show, GUNTHER shared some advice for the Superstar he’s beaten on three separate occasions.

GUNTHER holds far more than three victories over Jey Uso if you include WWE live events and dark matches. Despite this, Jey remains confident that a World Championship will be his in the future. In post-match comments, the former Intercontinental Champion shared his plan for what’s next.

Jey Uso has already declared for the Men’s Royal Rumble match, a bout he started in 2024. Despite his popularity, Jey will face immense competition, as top names including CM Punk, John Cena, and Roman Reigns have also declared forthe much-anticipated 30-Man contest.

2025 Royal Rumble Entrants: All Confirmed Superstars

Gallows and Anderson On WWE Partnership Being A Dream For TNA Roster

WWE and TNA recently announced their multi-year partnership, which will see talent from both promotions ‘cross the line.’ On a recent edition of the Talk’n Shop podcast, Karl Anderson shared that this partnership is a dream come true, especially for stars in TNA.

“I don’t care what anybody thinks or says, any chance you get an opportunity to work with WWE, you’re getting a platform that people dream of getting.”

Luke Gallows, Anderson’s tag-team partner agreed, and shared that he had fun watching a recent TNA iMPACT, his first time watching in eight years. Gallows also looked ahead to this weekend’s Royal Rumble, which he predicts could see TNA involvement.

“They pulled the trigger on Joe Hendry. So now you wonder, does this feed into, and there’s speculation about this, a Joe Hendry surprise Royal Rumble appearance? I would have to think yes, correct?”

Hendry has already teased entering the Royal Rumble, and if he does, he will be proud to represent TNA Wrestling. Whether or not the viral star enters this weekend’s 30-Man match, fans can expect years of crossover between two promotions which were once bitter rivals. Wes Lee will be in action during this week’s episode of TNA iMPACT after costing his former allies the Rascalz on last week’s show.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on the WWE-TNA partnership and to see who crosses the line next.

Rhea Ripley Teases Entering The Men’s Royal Rumble Match

Rhea Ripley has already reached the pinnacle of the WWE Women’s roster, but could the Men’s Royal Rumble be next in Mami’s sights? At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Ripley retained the Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax.

In a post-match interview, it was brought up that Ripley doesn’t have a match at WWE Royal Rumble 2025, but in theory could enter the women’s match. Ripley, however, had other ideas, saying “I think it would be a bad decision. Maybe I’ll be in the men’s one.”

If Ripley were to compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble match, she’d become the 5th woman to do so. Chyna made history by competing in both the 1999 and 2000 Rumble matches, and Beth Phoenix would do the same in 2010. Kharma was a part of the match in 2012 while Nia Jax would take R-Truth’s spot in the Men’s match in 2019.

Ripley has never shied away from (literally) man-handling her male counterparts in WWE. Check out this video to see just how well Ripley would fare in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

The Royal Rumble premium live event on February 1, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis promises to be an exciting event with Rumbles and title matches. It remains to be seen if Ripley, who won the Women’s Royal Rumble in 2023, steps in the ring against the men of WWE next weekend.

All WWE Legends Who Appeared At Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event once again had a nostalgic flair, with several legends of the ring appearing at the event. During the show, Ted DiBiase, Dory Funk Jr. and ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan were spotlighted in the crowd.

Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura was part of the show after making his return to WWE with last month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event special. The WWE Hall of Famer and former Minnesota governor was excited to see Bron Breakker and Sheamus go to war for the Intercontinental Championship.

Alundra Blayze was also in the crowd, with the WWF Women’s Championship. Blayze infamously dropped the title in the trash after she moved to WCW in 1995.

The Brainbusters Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard were shown following Jacob Fatu’s assault of Braun Strowman. The pair had previously been a part of AEW.

Mark Henry, another AEW alum, was also in the crowd at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Henry’s son Jacob recently signed with WWE, leaving fans excited to see what’s to come for the young powerhouse.

Don Callis Teases More ‘Family’ Members On AEW Collision

Could more wrestlers be set to join the Don Callis family in AEW? Don’t count it out according to the faction’s leader. Callis held a family meeting in a vignette at AEW Collision Homecoming to discuss what happened on Dynamite. The meeting, consisting of Callis, Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, Lance Archer, and Brian Cage, focused on Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay teaming up against them. When an unconcerned Brian Cage argued that there’s five of them to the two of Omega and Ospreay, Callis teased more members, asking “Who said there is only five of us?”

Callis gave no word on who could be set to join his family in their war against Ospreay and Omega. Trent Beretta was aligned with the Callis family before undergoing neck surgery last year. There is no word yet on when he will return to programming.

Ronda Rousey Opens Up About Postpartum Journey & Comeback

Ronda Rousey and her husband, Travis Browne, welcomed their first daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanip?, in September 2021. Taking to Instagram, Rousey opened up about her battle with body confidence ever since she became a mom. The images shared by the former WWE Superstar have never been shared before, as Rousey only now feels confident to share her body before and after giving birth.

“I was afraid of people comparing my post-baby bod to my fight-camp form in a cruel way. Now it’s obvious the one unfairly comparing was me – holy s*** what an idiot I was, I’d be so proud to get back to that point now.”

Rousey and Browne recently welcomed their second daughter, P?’?, into the world, and the UFC legend intends to be “more brave” by sharing her recovery online. The former Superstar’s hope is that her sharing will show others worrying about their own bodies post-birth that they’re not alone.

Rousey hasn’t competed for WWE since SummerSlam 2023, but the fighter/Superstar is ready to get back to training. Rousey closed her post by teasing a “mutha f***** montage,” leaving fans excited what’s to come.

Rousey has been vocal about her issues with WWE’s management during her tenure, but has competed a handful of times in other promotions, including ROH. It remains to be seen whether Rousey’s training ‘montage’ results in an in-ring return for the Baddest Woman on the Planet.

Relive WWE Royal Rumble Finishes From The Past 20 Years

Arianna Grace Becomes U.S. Citizen, Chelsea Green Reacts

WWE NXT star Arianna Grace has revealed on social media that she has officially become a United States citizen, sharing a celebratory photo online. Grace, the real-life daughter of former WWE star and current TNA Wrestling authority figure Santino Marella, proudly posed in front of the United States and Department of Homeland Security flags. The Canadian-born wrestler smiled while holding a miniature American flag to mark the occasion.

Grace’s announcement caught the attention of Chelsea Green, the reigning and inaugural Women’s United States Champion. In a response, Green, who earned her Green Card last year, saw a role in her adminstration for her fellow Canadian.

Grace has been absent from WWE television for some time, with her last televised NXT match occurring in July 2024. While fans haven’t seen her in NXT for some time, Grace has played a pivotal role in TNA Wrestling, where she’s served as the official NXT-TNA liasion. With WWE’s recently announced multi-year partnership, fans can expect to see much more of Miss NXT in both promotions.

Grace is not the only WWE Superstar to have earned citizenship, with Becky Lynch telling fans after the March 18, 2024, Raw that she is now a citizen of the good ol’ U.S. of A. Lynch hasn’t appeared for WWE since May 2024, though it has been reported that her return to programming is imminent after she signed a new contract.

Toni Storm Brings Back ‘Timeless’ Persona on AEW Collision

Toni Storm just delivered the performance of a lifetime, as the former Women’s World Champion has been ‘Timeless’ all along. During a face-to-face showdown with Mariah May on AEW Collision: Homecoming, Storm fully embraced her “rookie” persona, appearing wide-eyed and naive. That facade shattered the moment May attacked her with the AEW Women’s World Championship belt. In an instant, the truth was revealed, Storm had been acting all along.

After enduring the brutal beatdown, Storm dropped the innocent act and coldly declared, “I’ve never forgotten anything… I am Timeless Toni Storm again” much to the shock of her former protege turned enemy.

Storm had been absent from AEW television since losing her championship to May at AEW All In. When she returned at Dynamite: Winter is Coming, she portrayed a clueless rookie who was ignorance of her past. Storm had appeared excited to meet people like Tony Schiavone and Thunder Rosa, individuals she has worked with for years as part of AEW.

With the mind games over, Storm and May are set to collide at AEW Grand Slam: Australia, which will serve as a homecoming for the Timeless star. After May won the AEW Women’s World Championship in her native England, Storm hopes to repay the favor next month at AEW’s first-ever event down under.

Joe Hendry On A Royal Rumble Role: If TNA Asks…

Since Joe Hendry’s TNA World Championship win at Genesis, fans have been speculating as to whether the Scottish star will be a part of next weekend’s WWE Royal Rumble event. While speaking to the Deloco Podcast, Hendry said he’d be an honor to be part of the iconic match.

Anywhere, anytime, any show—that’s what I said to Shawn Michaels when I debuted in NXTThat would obviously be a huge honor and a privilege. It’s something that’s synonymous with our business.

Though Hendry would relish the chance to compete in a Royal Rumble match, he admitted that becoming World Champion has given him a new sense of “responsibility.” While Hendry is now focused on doing what’s best for TNA, that may not keep him from WWE’s upcoming event.

“If TNA management tells me that’s the objective, I will move forward. So, that is what I will do—I will do what TNA Wrestling asks me to do.

Hendry has been announced for WrestleCon during Royal Rumble weekend in Indianapolis, a fact that has many fans convinced that he will make an appearance. On February 2, the TNA star will set sail as part of Chris Jericho’s cruise.

Joe Hendry Vows “We’re Just Getting Started” After TNA World Title Win

TNA has already seen Rumble representation as Jordynne Grace’s appearance last year was well received by fans. Time will tell whether Hendry follows suit and if so, how far he gets in the pursuit of a WWE World Championship match at WrestleMania.
