GUNTHER Vows To End Jey Uso’s Career At WrestleMania 41

World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER plans to not only beat Jey Uso at WWE WrestleMania 41 but also end the career of the ‘Main Event’ talent. Taking to X (fka Twitter) after defeating Akira Tozawa on the February 24, edition of WWE Raw, GUNTHER compared the man he beat to the man he’ll face this April.

“Last week, I let the people know that they’re not smart enough to understand my art. So today, I had to send an official example to a person that is exactly like Jey Uso. [Akira] Tozawa is a clown. So much potential, just like Jey but they both made the wrong decision. Tozawa paid for it today. Jey is going to pay for it at WrestleMania.”

GUNTHER ended by threatening to end Jey Uso’s wrestling career when they battle in April and had another job propspect lined up for former Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion.

“[Facing me is] the greatest mistake he’s ever made. His career is going to end at WrestleMania, and he can look into a future as a server at his favorite Waffle House.”

Jey earned his title shot against GUNTHER by winning the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match, shockingly eliminating John Cena in the WWE icon’s final Rumble match. While the vast majority of the WWE Universe are behind Jey heading into WrestleMania, GUNTHER is prepared to spoil the party for the YEET army, and end Jey Uso’s career in the process.

LA Knight Battles WWE Grand Slam Champion After Raw In Cincinnati

The action didn’t stop after the February 24, edition of WWE Monday Night Raw went off the air as LA Knight wowed the crowd in Cincinnati, Ohio. In a dark match, Knight faced off with Ohio’s own The Miz in singles competiton. Despite the match coming in Miz’s home-state, the Cincinnati crowd were firmly behind Knight, who got the win to send the crowd home happy.

Though Knight is a SmackDown Superstar, his appearance after Raw wasn’t entirely a surprise. Shortly before the show went life, it was reported that Knight had been spotted in Cincinatti. Though this left some speculating he’d appear on the broadcast, his role was only for those live in the arena.

WWE Raw – February 24, 2024

WWE Raw served as the final episode of the red brand ahead of Elimination Chamber 2025, with several storylines connecting into the show. On Raw, Cody Rhodes addressed The Rock’s offer to be his champion, and admitted that he has to think about what’s best for his family. Raw also saw Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez win the WWE Women’s Tag Titles, with the duo becoming the first-ever team to win the gold on three occasions.

TKO Nearly Doubles In Value In Latest Win For Ari Emanuel

Ari Emanuel, the corporate powerhouse who serves as CEO and executive chairman of TKO Group Holdings, has reached billionaire status for the first time of his life. Emanuel was added to the Bloomberg Billionaire index for his personal wealth, signifying his vast fortune. In addition to his role with TKO, Emanuel serves as the CEO of Endeavor Group Holdings, who launched TKO (which consists of WWE and UFC) in September 2023.

TKO has nearly doubled in value over the past 12 months, with the share price increasing by 48% over the last year. The company is now valued at over $27 billion, and recently added Professional Bull Riders to its portfolio. While Emanuel isn’t an on-screen figure for WWE, he has been referenced on programming by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who serves as part of TKO’s Board of Directors.

While Emanuel’s fortunes continue to soar, many in TKO have been left feeling drained. This week, it was reported that there are several backstage issues, including an increased workload that can reach up to 60 hours a week. Reducing employee perks has also led to staff members increasingly feeling undervalued. WWE has ditched its previous policy allowing employees to purchase stock with a 15% reduction in price. Complimentary WWE tickets have also been nixed, in another blow to company morale.

With WWE’s female Superstars also having concerns, morale has taken a turn in WWE on the road to WrestleMania 41. Nevertheless, the success of TKO can’t be ignored, while Ari Emanuel will be more than pleased to have reached billionaire status.

Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez Win WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles

Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions after winning the gold in the main event of the February 24, edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. The finish of the match saw Raquel prevent Naomi from hitting the split legged moonsault and then ram Naomi head into the post. With Naomi out cold, Morgan got the pinfall to end the reign of the Glow and Bianca Belair.

Belair and Naomi had been recognized as tag team champions since November 2024. Belair had held the gold since August’s Bash In Berlin PLE, where she won the gold since Jade Cargill. After Cargill was taken out by a mystery assailant, Naomi replaced her in the tag team.

This loss raises questions as to how Cargill will respond once she’s back, as she has lost a title in WWE without even being a part of the match. Many fans predict that either Belair or Naomi were behind the attack, an act that would turn either woman heel. Both have accused Liv and Raquel of being the attackers, though they have denied the claim.

This victory makes Liv Morgan a record-tying four-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, while Raquel Rodriguez is now a three-time champion. As a team, this is the third reign for the Judgment Day members.

Drew McIntyre Takes Aim At Cody Rhodes, LA Knight At Topps Rip Night

Drew McIntyre was a part of WWE’s Topps Rip Night in Jersey City, but the Scottish Warrior had more than trading cards on his mind. When McIntyre pulled a Cody Rhodes card from a pack, he warned the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion “I’m coming for you.” McIntyre will be a part of the Men’s Elimination Chamber match which will determine Rhodes’ challenger for WrestleMania 41 in April.

McIntyre later pulled a card featuring LA Knight, an individual the three-time former WWE World Champion has had issues with as of late. Referring to their issues stemming from the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match, McIntyre shared that “Alright, let’s do the bit. My good buddy, LA Knight. See, I got your stuff in for you.”

McIntyre was reportedly left furious as Knight’s attempts to ‘get his stuff in’ affected Drew’s role in the Rumble, including his elimination. While these issues have seemingly simmered down, with the matter even being addressed on SmackDown, WWE are reportedly considering ditching a McIntyre Vs. Damian Priest feud, another idea McIntyre has taken issue with.

With McIntyre not a favorite to win the Elimination Chamber match, questions remain as to what his role at WrestleMania 41 will look like. Though WWE has yet to confirm anything, many believe a showdown with Knight is coming, especially after his comments this week.

Matt Hardy Shares Issue With AEW’s Use Of Talent: “It Drives Me Nuts!”

On his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt looked at the recent push of Harley Cameron, who despite her popularity, came up short against Mercedes Moné at Grand Slam: Australia. Hardy argued that even if Cameron isn’t on Mone’s level when it comes to in-ring wrestling ability, that shouldn’t have been a factor in the event’s booking.

“Who cares? Harley doesn’t match her in the ring. That’s irrelevant.”

Hardy shared his issue with Tony Khan’s mantra that AEW is ‘Where the best wrestle.’ While this is some effective promoting of the company, Hardy believes that Khan’s focus on in-ring work is having a negative impact on popular acts on the roster who may not be the ‘best’ in the ring.

“It doesn’t matter if she doesn’t match up. It drives me nuts man. If you are over (as a) character, if people are interested, it’s gonna help sell tickets, it’s gonna move merch, and someone that’s popular, utilize them.”

While Cameron may still become AEW TBS Champion, many believe the promotion’s ideal window has passed, and that a victory in her native Australia should have happened. The match in Brisbane marked Cameron’s first time competing for any championship in AEW, with fans hoping it is not her last.

As for Hardy, he will be a part of the upcoming WWE NXT, in a historic return for both himself and Jeff. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Matt Hardy and his views on AEW and the wider wrestling world.

Rhea Ripley Shares Concern Over Fans Showing Up At Her House

Rhea Ripley has cautioned fans to never send fan mail or gifts to her private residence as such as an act is “100% not ok.” On X, fka Twitter, the Australian Superstar made herself perfectly clear.

Ripley didn’t share whether a recent incident had prompted her to make this post, though many believe this to be the case. Ripley’s statement about fans comes after several wrestlers have either addressed, or fallen victim to, fans who cross the line.

In January 2025, WWE’s Asuka shared that fans had attempted to interfere in her private life, a matter that had forced the Japanese wrestler to contact the police. Asuka made clear she rejects any romantic advances fans may make at her, but her statement sadly went ignored by some.

Earlier this month, Michelle McCool shared her experience of dealing with harrassment at airports that was common during her WWE tenure. McCool, soon to be a WWE Hall of Famer, shared that “people just don’t have boundaries,” and spoke about being chased by fans even when with her kids.

Sonya Deville was the victim of an attempted kidnapping in 2020, which resulted in the ex-WWE Superstar taking months away from WWE to recover. More recently, Deville advocated for stricter stalking laws as for many victims, the law doesn’t go far enough to protect them and punish the criminals.

The reigning Women’s World Champion, Ripley will put her title on the line against IYO SKY during the March 3, edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. With a huge title match and WrestleMania 41 drawing closer, Ripley seeks to focus on her WWE career, and not on fans potentially invading her private life.

Unlikely Name To Use ‘Kaylx’ Moniker After Recent Trademark Filing

WWE recently filed a trademark for Kaylx, leading WWE fans to believe that Sol Ruca (real name Calyx Harmony Hampton) was set to undergo a name change. Now Fightful Select reports that the new name will instead be for WWE referee Jessika Carr.

Though giving a referee an in-ring name may seem odd, there’s a reason behind WWE’s plans. Carr competed under a mask at recent WWE Evolve tapings, the report adds. It is believed that she will work as Kaylx on the program, which is set to premiere in March 2025.

Carr has established herself in WWE as a referee capable of officiating some huge matches, but she does have prior in-ring experience. Before joining WWE in 2017, Carr competed as Kennadi Brink, Jessie Kaye, and J.K. Kennadi in various promotions including Shine, and Ring of Honor, and SHIMMER. In January 2017, Carr lost a squash match to Nikki Cross as part of WWE NXT before Carr signed with WWE as an official.

WWE Evolve will serve as the promotion’s latest attempt to develop talent, but by no means is it the only one. Other recruitment and development efforts include:

As for Carr, fans are excited to see how she fares as an in-ring talent after years as a referee. Hopefully Kaylx will observe the rules when she competes for WWE Evolve, or face the wrath of one of Carr’s colleagues.

Ex-WWE ECW Champion Returning to Wrestling After 9-Year Hiatus

A former WWE Superstar who held both the ECW Championship and Intercontinental Championship, is set to make his return after close to a decade out of the ring. On his YouTube channel, Ezekiel Jackson shared that he will be compering for FWE in North Carolina on March 15. In the video, Jackson reflected on how his full-time career ended.

“I keep asking myself if I ended my career the way I wanted to, and for the most part, I didn’t. So, I’ve always had that little chip on my shoulder, wanting to finish things on my terms. I’ve also had a bucket list of people I’d love to compete against, so we’re looking into scheduling a few things.

Jackson is accepting bookings and the ex-Superstar, who remains “big as hell” is ready to have some fun. Despite his impressive physique, Jackson acknoweldged the importance of getting into “ring shape,” and shared his training strategy.

I’m adding more cardio-based workouts, incorporating some rowing, and I’ll be getting in the ring a few times this week and in the coming weeks.”

Jackson, the final holder of the WWE ECW Championship, last competed in October 2015 as part of an event for the Germany-based wXw promotion. At the time, it was shared that this marked the end of Jackson’s in-ring career. Now fans can look forward to seeing the former WWE and TNA star back in the ring as he prepares to end his career on his own terms.

Becky Lynch Isn’t Sure What Her Wrestling Future Looks Like

Fans are eager to see Becky Lynch back in the ring, but The Man isn’t sure just how much longer her career as a wrestler will last. While speaking on the Getting Over podcast, Becky Lynch was asked that how long she will continue in the ring, and shared that she doesn’t know what her future looks like.

Life has surprised me in wonderful ways recently. You can make all these plans, but sometimes things don’t go the way you intended. In the long run, though, something else works out—something even better than you expected. And honestly, I feel like that’s been the story of my entire career.

Lynch hasn’t competed for WWE since the May 27, 2024, edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, where she lost a steel cage match to then-Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. Lynch’s contract with WWE would expire the next month, making her a free agent for the first time in over a decade.

Becky Lynch has since re-signed with WWE though the Man has yet to return on the Road to WrestleMania 41 as many had expected. With WWE’s biggest event (a show Lynch has headlined,) mere weeks away, fans are eager to see Lynch back, but she is well-aware that life may have other plans.

Ryan Nemeth Names CM Punk, Tony Khan & AEW In Assault Lawsuit

Ryan Nemeth has filed a lawsuit against AEW, Tony Khan, and CM Punk, in the latest chapter of the Best in the World’s controversial time with the promotion. Nemeth’s lawsuit was filed on February 14 in California. The complaint is for assault, breach of contract, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing and intentional interference with prospective advantage.

This isn’t the first time Nemeth has taken aim at Punk and his AEW tenure. In December 2024, it was reported that Nemeth had alleged the use of threats and harrasment in AEW which involved Punk. Fightful reported at the time that Nemeth had detailed these issues in a complaint dated September 12, and provided emails, texts, and call logs as evidence.

In the lawsuit, Nemeth makes a series of startling claims, including that Punk assaulted the Young Bucks “in early 2023.” This would come after the altercation at All Out 2022 that resulted in Punk, the Bucks, and others being suspended.

Nemeth alleges that in April 2023, he contacted AEW executives, concerned that Punk would return from suspension to assault him. He adds that despite this, AEW didn’t hesitate in bringing Punk back. Nemeth alleges that on June 21, 2023, Punk assaulted him, despite Nemeth’s efforts to de-escalate the situation.

Punk faced no punishment for assaulting Nemeth, the lawsuit adds, while Ryan feared being “benched” by AEW. The promotion’s attorneys assured Nemeth that this would not be the case, but it would be another two months before he was used in any capacity.

Nemeth adds that he learned that Punk had insisted that he be ‘benched,’ despite not having done anything wrong. The suit adds that when Nemeth was booked to return in August, Punk spotted him and fired off a text. Nemeth was informed shortly after that he would not be used.

When Tony Khan fired CM Punk in September 2023, the AEW President blameed Nemeth, the suitn adds. It is claimed that Khan and Punk have embarked upon a campaign to “blackball” Nemeth from professional wrestling. Khan has “used his significant resources to make sure that Nemeth can never again make a living in wrestling” the lawsuit adds.

Punk returned to WWE in November 2023, where his conduct has reportedly been exemplarly. While Punk is focused on this weekend’s Men’s Elimination Chamber and a potential title match at WrestleMania 41, the issues stemming from Punk’s AEW tenure continue to haunt the Chicago-Made Superstar.

Victoria Reflects On Highs & Pressure Of WWE Women’s Title Glory

Former WWE Superstar Victoria recently sat down with ‘From the Vault’ to reflect on her second Women’s Championship victory in February 2004. Victoria recalled being in tears after the match and reflected on what winning any championship in wrestling means.

“Every time you win the championship, you are getting a pat on the back and there’s a lot of pressure on you, but they know you can do it. It was truly amazing.”

Though Victoria walked into the match alone in 2004, she often worked with Stevie Richards during her WWE tenure. Victoria shared that Richards was often ready to help her, both on and off-screen.

“Stevie and I, amazing. He always gave me a pep talk in the backstage cuz I always self doubt. I’m just really hard on myself, and he always just looked me in the face. ‘You got this, you got this, you got this.'”

Victoria’s second reign with the gold, her first as a babyface, would see her defend at WrestleMania 20. Not only did she retain the gold at WWE’s biggest annual event, inside the iconic Madison Square Garden, but as a result of losing, Molly Holly had her head shaved.

Victoria recently joined WWE under a Legends Deal, leaving fans excited at seeing more from the veteran. Whatever comes, Victoria will never forget the profound effect that becoming WWE Women’s Champion had on her.

Miro Battles Ex-WWE Champion In First Post-AEW Match

Miro has finished his time with AEW and the former TNT Champion has made a successful return to the ring after over a year on the shelf. During a Qatar Pro Wrestling event held on February 22nd in Doha, Miro took on fellow WWE and League of Nations alum Alberto El Patron.

This marked Miro’s first match since his bout against Andrade El Idolo at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view on December 30, 2023. Despite a 14-month absence from the ring, Miro proved he could still compete at a high level.

Miro joined AEW in 2020 and despite a strong initial push, would become less utilized from 2022 until the end of his tenure. In late 2024, it was shared that Miro had requested his release, but that his request was turned down. Miro was nevertheless let go in early 2025 alongside Malakai Black and Ricky Starks, the latter of whom has joined WWE NXT as Ricky Saints.

Whether Miro returns to WWE remains to be seen, though his ex-wife CJ Perry has teased Miro taking on Andrade, another AEW alum who’s since returned to WWE. Whatever’s next for the Bulgarian, Miro is proving that his absence from the ring hasn’t dulled his skills.

Fans Predict WWE NXT Star Name Change After Trademark Filing

In WWE NXT, Sol Ruca has proven to be a star on the rise, but now the popular young Superstar could be waiting for a significant name change. Recently, WWE filed a trademark for Kaylx with the USPTO, a name that conveniently matches Sol Ruca’s real name of Calyx Hampton. On X, fans speculated that Ruca will soon be on the receiving end of a name change.

In recent weeks, Ruca has been teaming with Zaria, who has been making waves since her arrival in WWE NXT in late 2024. After Ruca recently introduced Zaria to her surfing lifestyle, Zaria has teased introducing Ruca to her way of life, which fans believe could lead to a name change.

Whatever name Sol Ruca goes by in WWE, the young star has been off to a promising start. Though she is yet to hold gold, Ruca has challenged for the NXT Women’s and NXT Women’s North American Championship. In September 2024, Ruca challenged then-TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, becoming the first NXT talent to challenge for the title.

WWE often changes the name of talent, just ask the recently-debuted Ricky Saints, and now many expect Ruca to receive a change, ironically to something closer to her real name. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Sol Ruca, and her future in WWE, whatever she is called.

WWE’s Angel Garza & Wife Welcome Birth Of Second Child

WWE Superstar Angel Garza and his family are celebrating as they SmackDown star welcomed his new daughter into the world this week. On X, fka Twitter, Garza shared a photo of himself, his wife, his daughter Dara, and Dara’s new sibling.

After Garza proposed to his wife Zadie, a sports journalist, in the ring, the couple tied the knot in July 2020. Two years later, the couple welcomed their first child Dara into the world. Now, the family has grown and Garza, Zadie, and Dara couldn’t be happier.

The birth of Alia comes at a pivotal time for Angel Garza, who is receiving more of a showcase on WWE SmackDown. Garza and Berto have been circling the WWE Tag Team Championship picture, though are yet to compete for the gold. Nevertheless, working with teams including the Motor City Machine Guns and reigning champions DIY have left fans believing a title shot for Garza and Berto isn’t a question of if, but when.

We at SEScoops would like to extend our congratulations to Angel Garza and his family at this joyous time.

NXT Vs. TNA Title-For-Title Match Set For Upcoming Event (Spoilers)

On the latest WWE NXT, TNA X-Division Champion Moose confronted Oba Femi, and the reigning NXT Champion returned the favor during the latest episode of Impact. Femi will be in six-man-tag action on next week’s Impact, pitting the Ruler and the Hardys against The System, but a much bigger match has now been confirmed.

During the latest tapings of Impact, for an episode set to air on March 6, Femi was again part of the show, but his moment was cut short when Moose and the System stormed the ring. Both Moose and Femi held up their titles, and a winner-takes-all match has been set for the pair. That showdown will come at NXT Roadblock on March 11, from The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

Regardless of who wins, this match will prove to be historic. Since TNA and WWE NXT began partnering in 2024, no wrestler has won a championship from the other show. That will change soon enough, as in addition to the winner of this match, Cora Jade hopes to become TNA Knockouts World Champion at Sacrifice.

As for whether it’ll be Moose or Femi who become a double champion, time will tell. One thing for certain though, is that NXT Roadblock in the Theatre at MSG will be the stage for arguably the biggest match in this multi-year partnership to date.

Claudio Castagnoli Defends Lack Of AEW Trios Title Defenses

The Death Riders captured the AEW World Trios Championships at All In: London 2024 but fans have been far from impressed with their reign. In an AEW Digital Exclusive, Claudio Castagnoli, one-third of the reign champions, blamed AEW’s roster for why the titles are rarely defended.

“You wanna know why these titles haven’t been defended in over two, three months, huh?… That’s because the pool is so shallow when it gets to the level that we are at. It’s absolutely pathetic!”

Since winning the titles, the Death Riders have defended the titles just six times, two of these title defenses coming in February 2025. Prior to that, fans would have to go back to the November 7, edition of AEW Collision to see the championships on the line.

These sporadic title defenses have only the issue fans have with the Death Riders and AEW’s top storyline. Many feel the group lacks a clear creative direction, and that their mission to ‘reshape’ AEW has been too vague without clear goals. Fans have also taken issue to the faction briefly aligning with the Learning Tree, a somewhat comedic group that the ultra-serious Death Riders should, in theory, be opposed to in their mission to change AEW.

With a lack of clear challengers and a “pathetic” pool of talent, it remains to be seen how much longer the Death Riders hold the Trios titles. While the group is finally defending the titles more, the lengthy reign has proven an issue for countless fans.

Isla Dawn Is “Not Dead Yet,” Superstars React To Post-WWE Tease

Isla Dawn is far from finished in the world of professional wrestling, despite her recent exit from WWE. Taking to Instagram, the former Women’s Tag Team Champion reflected on her exit, the fan reaction to her departure, before making clear that she’s “not dead yet.”

“One of the sad facts of life is that you won’t hear all the good things people have to say about you until you’re gone. Everyone bottles up their emotions, only to pour them out over your lifeless body—just a little too late.

‘Oh my God, I’m gonna miss her. Oh my God, she was a champion. She was a star. She did not deserve this.’

Did I deserve it? No. But I did need it. I was bleeding out. This was pressure. I was crashing. And this—this is what revived me. My heart stopped on the table, but someone down there sent me back up, knowing it was not quite my time.

The White Witch is gone. The Unholy Enchantress, buried in the grave. A two-time tag team champion—ashes in an urn. But don’t grieve for me. Isla Dawn is not dead yet.”

Isla Dawn’s video caught the attention of several names in the wrestling world. NXT’s Kiana James shared a series of emojis to share her support for the video, while Scarlett told Dawn to ‘Get em girl!’ Samantha Irvin, who exited WWE last year, stated “Moves” and a fire emoji.

Dawn first made her mark in NXT UK, where she became a standout in the women’s division. In 2022, she transitioned to WWE NXT, where she formed a tag team with Alba Fyre. Highlights of her career include a reign as a NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, as well as Dawn and Fyre winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in their native Scotland.

With Dawn’s 90-day non-compete clause in place, all eyes are on her next move and how she will reinvent herself. Given her talent and creativity, the possibilities are endless for the ex-Superstar.

The Rock Reveals Original WrestleMania 42 Announcement Plans

On the February 21, edition of WWE SmackDown, The Rock shared that WrestleMania 42 will take place in April 2026 from New Orleans, Louisiana. On the post-SmackDown press conference, The Rock shared that this announcement was supposed to come earlier this year.

“We were going to be part of the Super Bowl and make the announcement at the Super Bowl. We had a couple of hiccups that we couldn’t make that happen.”

The Rock didn’t share what “hiccups” came in WWE’s way, but the Super Bowl did feature plenty of wrestling involvement. Vince McMahon made a rare public outing to attend the game and was joined by The Undertaker and his son Shane McMahon. WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins were spotted with Britt Baker, leading fans to speculate as to Baker’s future, months after her most recent appearance for Tony Khan’s promotion.

Khan himself was at the big game and arrived on Kismet, his father’s super yacht. TBS Champion Mercedes Mone also attended the Super Bowl, where she was spotted with Swerve Strickland.

Plans remain scarce for WrestleMania 42 but The Rock’s involvement on this week’s SmackDown has led many to speculate that he will have a role with WrestleMania 41 this April in Las Vegas. With an appearance at Elimination Chamber confirmed, fans can expect to see much more of the Final Boss very soon.

Vince McMahon, WWE Lawyers File Opposition To Janel Grant Amended Complaint

Lawyers representing Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis have formally opposed Janel Grant’s amended lawsuit, which accuses McMahon of sexual abuse and trafficking. On Friday, February 21, legal teams for the defendants filed motions in the U.S. District Court in Connecticut challenging the amended complaint by Grant’s attorneys filed last month.

McMahon’s counsel, Jessica Rosenberg, contended that the revised lawsuit was filed in “bad faith.” She added that Grant should adhere to the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) she signed prior to initiating the original lawsuit.WWE’s legal representatives argued that the amended complaint did not counter their argument that this matter should be resolved through private arbitration. WWE, McMahon, and Laurianaitis have all argued for arbitration.

Grant’s amended filing introduced new evidence and allegations, asserting that certain WWE personnel were aware of McMahon’s alleged misconduct and participated in its cover-up. While her original lawsuit against WWE, Laurinaitis, and McMahon, was 68 pages in length, the amended version is now at 101 pages.

Janel Grant’s battle with the three parties has gained widespread attention, especially after Brock Lesnar was named in the updated complaint. The amended filing alleges alleges that McMahon attempted to involve Lesnar in the alleged misconduct against Grant.

McMahon stepped down from WWE in January 2024 though has denied all claims of wrongdoing, instead insisting that he and Grant had a consensual relationship. Stay tuned for updates on this case and the wider effects it could have on WWE and the wrestling world.

The Rock Says Cody Rhodes Match Doesn’t Need To Happen

The Rock’s beef with Cody Rhodes may not culminate with a match between the two, according to the Final Boss. Speaking after his appearance on WWE SmackDown, The Rock shared his mentality when it comes to going one-on-one with the American Nightmare.

“The Final Boss and Cody Rhodes, it’s not about the WWE title, it isn’t about a match, it isn’t about bleeding or anything like that that’s part of our world. It never has to culminate into a match.

The Rock shared that the fact that his feud with Rhodes is so ‘personal’ that it may not end with a match is a “very special place” from a creative standpoint. The Brahma Bull is ready to have “fun” with Rhodes, even if a match isn’t in the works, and The Rock also highlighted that this angle gives the chance to develop “creatively, character-wise.”

The Rock’s comments about a match, or lack thereof, contrast greatly with early plans for WrestleMania 41. While for a time, a match between the two seemed a guarantee, it now appears that the pair’s WrestleMania 40 tag match will be the only time the two lock horns in a match.

On SmackDown, The Rock said he wants Cody’s soul, and in essence, intends for the American Nightmare to work under him and do his bidding. The Rock has given Rhodes until Elimination Chamber to give an answer, an event that The Rock will be in attendance for.

Elimination Chamber will also see Rhodes learn who he’ll face at WrestleMania 41, but with The Rock’s involvement, fans can’t count out meddling from The Final Boss. No matter what’s to come, WWE Elimination Chamber will prove to be a pivotal point on Rhodes’ road to WrestleMania.

Alexa Bliss Declares “I Am In Charge” Amid Wyatt Sicks Speculation

Alexa Bliss made her return at the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, and now the Goddess of WWE has shared her big plans. After a two-year absence, Bliss is back, and is ready to take control.

The February 21, edition of WWE SmackDown included a video segment with Bliss, where she reflected on her time away. She acknowledged that while the faces in WWE may have changed, she remains the same. She also emphasized her experience with the Elimination Chamber, reminding everyone that she’s won the match before. Bliss then promised her opponents in next weekend’s Women’s Elimination Chamber match a “hell they haven’t experienced before.”

Bliss ended by declaring that SmackDown’s women’s division belongs to her and that she’s in charge. The segment featured glitchy cuts, similar to what fans have seen from The Wyatt Sicks. Fans have already begun to speculate that Bliss’ comment about being in charge could be hinting at a major role with Uncle Howdy’s faction.

The Wyatt Sicks have seemingly taken an interest in Bliss, with the group interrupting Bliss’ promo during the Februrary 14, edition of SmackDown. Since the group arrived in WWE, it had been speculated that Bliss would join, and now fans can expect a major role for the former WWE Women’s Champion going forward.

Trish Stratus Appears On SmackDown, Attacked By Nia Jax

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was a part of the February 21, edition of WWE SmackDown, but the Canadian legend was left hurting in New Orleans. On the show, Tiffany Stratton defeated Candice LeRae, but was attacked by Candice and Nia Jax after the match. Though Stratus made the save, Nia and Candice were able to get the upperhand on the WWE Hall of Famer and WWE Women’s Champion. The segment ended with Jax laying out Stratton and Stratus with an Annihilator.

Stratus’ appearance comes ahead of her return to the ring at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, where she will team with Stratton in tag-team action. The show will take place in Trish’s home town of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on March 1.

Stratus’ most recent match was as part of the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match which was on by Charlotte Flair, Stratton’s WrestleMania 41 opponent. Whether she competes at Elimination Chamber or not, Stratus remains one of WWE’s most iconic women, and continues to have the fans on her side.

Scott Steiner’s Son Brock Rechsteiner Signs WWE NIL Deal

WWE has another Steiner to its name as Brock Rechsteiner, the son of Scott Steiner, has reportedly signed a WWE Next-In-Line contract. During an interview with Jim Varsollone, Brandon Rechsteiner shared that his brother Brock has inked a deal with the promotion. Brock was offered a NIL deal in January 2025 and now fans can expect to see much more of the second-generation athlete.

Brock Rechsteiner is the latest member of his family to ink a contract with WWE. For years, his father Scott and uncle Rick competed for WWE and the duo would become multi-time Tag Team Champions. In more recent times, Brock’s cousin Bron Breakker has been asserting himself as a two-time NXT Champion and two-time (and current) Intercontinental Champion.

WWE launched its NIL program in 2021 with Olympian Gable Steveson being the first recruit. While Steveson’s WWE career would amount to very little, fans are seeing one NIL signing succeed on a weekly basis. Oba Femi was an NIL signing and has since risen the ranks to become WWE NXT Champion.

It remains to be seen if Brock Rechsteiner reaches the success of Femi or of his family members in WWE. Whatever comes, the young Steiner is ready to make an impact on WWE’s NIL contract.

Matt Riddle Eyeing WWE Return: “I Never Would Have Left”

Matt Riddle hopes to one day be called a WWE Superstar again, but knows that the decision will not be his to make. Speaking on Stories With Brisco and Bradshaw, Riddle made it clear he’d return to WWE in a heartbeat if given the chance.

“I would love to go back to WWE one day eventually, maybe soon. But the thing is, whatever they want. It’s not up to me, that’s their decision.”

Riddle “never would have left” WWE had he been given the chance to stay, and wishes that his exit in September 2023 had never occurred. As he waits for WWE to give him a call, the reigning MLW World Heavyweight Champion has big plans in mind.

“I’m going to win every championship possible, I’m going to wrestle everywhere under the sun, in every country.”

Riddle had asserted himself as a top act in WWE, even challenging for World Championships on occassion. By 2023 though, a series of controversies, including an altercation at JFK airport, resulted in the ‘Original Bro’ being cut. These releases, which also saw Nic Nemeth and Mustafa Ali cut, were the first following the official launch of TKO Group Holdings.

Whether Riddle returns to WWE or not, he is focused on establishing himself as a top draw in wrestling, no matter the promotion. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Matt Riddle and his dreams to return to WWE superstardom.
