The Judgment Day’s reign as WWE World Tag Team Champions came to an end during the December 16 episode of WWE Raw when the War Raiders dethroned Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. The finish of the match saw Balor attempt to use a steel chair to intentionally get disqualified, only to be thwarted by Damian Priest. Shortly after, the War Raiders hit War Machine on Balor to secure the win and the titles.
The Judgment Day captured the titles back in June, but their reign drew criticism for a lack of title defenses. In their first 100 days as champions, Balor and McDonagh defended the titles only once on television, with their entire reign featuring just three televised title defenses.
For Erik and Ivar, this victory marks their first taste of championship gold in nearly five years. The pair last held the Raw Tag Team Championships in October 2019, a reign that ended in January 2020 when they lost the titles to Seth Rollins and Murphy. Both Erik and Ivar returned to action this year after injuries kept them sidelined for several months.
After a long road back, the War Raiders have reached the top of the Raw tag team division once again. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest updates on the War Raiders and their reign as WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Kurt Angle recently joked that an eternity of hellfire and brimstone awaits his former boss Vince McMahon given the billionaire’s behavior. Reflecting on his time working with the former WWE CEO, Angle shared a damning assessment during a conversation with Inside the Ropes.
“He does some crazy sh*t, and for a guy who’s the owner and CEO of a company, it’s like, ‘What the f**k, man? You’re the boss. You can’t be doing this stuff.’”
Angle also suggested that McMahon’s actions won’t go unpunished in the afterlife, adding, “He’s going to hell when he dies.” During the interview though, Angle also praised McMahon’s work ethic that turned WWE into the premiere name in professional wrestling. The Olympic Gold Medalist also commended McMahon’s mind for the business that allowed him to fend off rivals, including WCW.
McMahon’s legacy has faced intense scrutiny in recent years, particularly following the hush money scandal of 2022 and the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant earlier this year. The allegations against McMahon extend beyond Grant’s case. He is also named in a separate lawsuit alleging he was aware of the sexual abuse of underage ‘ring boys’ by former WWE employee Mel Phillips but failed to intervene. This lawsuit, brought by five anonymous former ring boys, also names Linda McMahon, WWE, and TKO Group Holdings.
Despite the ongoing legal battles, McMahon has plans to launch a new film and TV production company. However, it appears unlikely that the 79-year-old billionaire will return to the world of professional wrestling promotion anytime soon. Stay tuned to SEScoops for updates on Vince McMahon’s legal and professional developments, as Kurt Angle suggests that the pearly gates may not be in his future.
When WWE Raw moves to Netflix in just three weeks, Travis Scott will play a key role in proceedings. Not only will the award-winning artist provide the new theme for Raw, but Scott will also give a live perfomance on the show. Now, Grayson Waller is ready to see more from Scott in WWE, including a potential in-ring role, as he told Phil Fresh this week:
“I think he does have what it takes because he’s obviously a big fan… Travis knows what he’s doing, and the Hardcore title means he’s not afraid to use weapons.”
Waller added that, unlike Scott, many celebrities brought into WWE don’t know what they’re doing in the ring, though stopped short of naming names. Waller is no stranger to celebrity involvement, as he and Austin Theory were on the recieving end of a beatdown at SummerSlam by Awesome Truth and Jelly Roll.
When we say WWE goes big, we mean it. The first #WWERaw of the @netflix Era will be at the @IntuitDome in Los Angeles on January 6th, and @trvisXX will be there live and in person.
Scott’s love for wrestling is no secret, and Mick Foley has shared his support for Scott using the ‘Cactus Jack’ moniker for his record label. Earlier this year, Scott was presented with a brand-new WWE Hardcore Championship by Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, in recognition of Scott’s love for all-things WWE.
Travis Scott will have a huge role to play come January 6, but will his presence on Raw’s Netflix debut extend past a music performance and into the ring? Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Scott’s relationship with WWE, as Grayson Waller is sure he’d belong in the ring.
For decades, Super Bowl winners have celebrated their wins by declaring that “I’m Going to Disneyland!” to mark the occasion. At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Chelsea Green became the first WWE Women’s U.S Champion, and she too celebrated in the Magic Kingdom.
Woke up as 1st ever @WWE Women’s United States Champion. So what’s first on the agenda? I’m going to @Disneyland !!!!
True to her word, Green celebrated her win in Disneyland alongside her husband Matt Cardona. Days ahead of his ROH World Title showdown at Final Battle, the Indy-God staked his claim to his wife’s championship reign.
It’s official…I’m 1/2 of the @WWE Women’s United States Champion!
Green herself added a unique accolade to her reign, pointing out (via default) that she is the longest-reigning WWE Women’s United States Champion in the history of wrestling.
Green became the first-ever champion by besting Michin in the finals of a tournament that has been going on for weeks. The self-professed Hot Mess defeated Blair Davenport and Bianca Belair in her first-round triple-threat match before defeating Bayley in the semi-finals. The win marks Green’s first title in WWE since 2022 and her first singles title ever with the promotion.
Fans can expect quite the celebration from Green this Friday when she returns to SmackDown as the brand-new champion. The December 20, show will air from the XL Center in Hartford, CT, with much of the show already being taped to give talent time off for the holidays.
Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Chelsea Green as the new Women’s U.S. Champion is making sure everyone knows of her historic victory.
WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Axiom will be returning to his native Spain later this month in a rare appearance outside the promotion. Axiom will compete for Tyris Wrestling’s Snow Ball 30 show on December 28 in Valencia.
Axiom is the latest Superstar to be allowed the opportunity to compete outside of WWE. 2024 has seen several WWE work with several promotions, including TNA Wrestling, GCW Bloodsport, Pro Wrestling Noah, Reality of Wrestling, and Marigold. Axiom’s situation marks the first European promotion to benefit from WWE’s willingness to work with others under its current creative adminsistration.
Axiom was born in Madrid, a train-ride away from Valencia, and is the first Spaniard to compete and win a championship in WWE. The masked marvel ebuted in WWE in 2019 as A-Kid in NXT UK, and would be added to the WWE NXT roster in March 2022. That July, he wold debut his Axiom character, and is in his second reign as NXT Tag Team Champions with Nathan Frazer.
Either Mercedes Moné or Mina Shirakawa will leave Wrestle Dynasty a double champion after agreeing to face off at the January 5, show. At this past weekend’s NJPW Strong Style Evolved, The CEO succesfully defended her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship against Hazuki.
After the match, Moné was confronted by Shirakawa, who challenged her to a NJPW Strong Women’s Title match for Wrestle Dynasty. Moné accepted, but said Mina’s RevPro British Women’s Title must also be on the line. The pair agreed to the Winner Takes All showdown and ended the segment with a dance.
Moné has held the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship since Double or Nothing in June, where she defeated Stephanie Vaquer in a match that saw the AEW TBS Championship also on the line. As for Shirakawa, she has held the RevPro British Women’s Title since August’s 12-Year Anniversary show, where she dethroned TNA Wrestling’s Dani Luna.
Wrestle Dynasty will take place on January 5, 2025, from the legendary Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, just one day after NJPW: Wrestle Kingdom 19 in the same venue. In addition to AEW and New Japan talent, the show will also feature names from Ring of Honor, CMLL, and World Wonder Ring Stardom. The show was announced back in June of this year during the AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
Stay tuned to SE Scoops for all the latest news about Wrestle Dynasty 2025 as both The CEO and Shirakawa plan on leaving the event as a double champion.
WWE NXT tag team Hank Walker and Tank Ledger now have tag team championship gold to their name, though not as part of the silver brand. The popular duo competed at Reality of Wrestling’s SubZero where they captured the titles from Fly Def’s Warren Johnson and Zack Mason.
The duo are the WWE Superstars to have held non-WWE gold since the promotion began allowing it’s talent to compete in other promotions. Reality Of Wrestling is owned and operated by NXT commentator Booker T, and the promotion is among those with ties to the WWE ID program.
Hank and Tank have reached the peak of ROW’s tag-team division, and have been rising the ranks in WWE NXT. The pair are consistently one of the most popular teams in the silver brand, with fans eager to see the duo get a shot at the titles. While the duo have yet to challenge for the NXT Tag Team Titles on TV, their most recent title match was at a February 2024 live event where they came up short. The titles are currently held by Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) who have held the gold since September’s No Mercy event.
The Young Bucks surprised fans with their appearance at NJPW Strong Style Evolved, and the AEW EVPs weren’t afraid to get physical. The show saw Jack Perry and Konosuke Takeshita struggle to co-exist in their tag-team match, but were able to defeat Shingo Takagi and Yota Tsuji.
After the match, Takeshita and Perry ganged up on Takagai until Hiromu Takahashi arrived to fight them off. The Young Bucks then blindsided Takahashi with a superkick, though Perry seemed far from happy to see his fellow Elite allies and headed to the back.
Matthew and Nicholas Jackson discussed challenging for the IWGP Tag Team Championships at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5. The duo also took aim at Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi, with Nick saying the pair are injury prone after Matt pondered what happened to the pair.
— AEW?Jamie Hayter ??Skye Blue?TheOutrunners?? (@JaxIrvin) December 16, 2024
The Bucks will challenge Great-O-Khan and a mystery partner for the vacant tag team titles at Wrestle Dynasty. The titles are currently vacant after Henare suffered a knee injury, forcing him and Great-O-Khan to give up the gold. The match will be the first time the Bucks have competed since the October 20, 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, when the brothers lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships to Private Party.
Wrestle Dynasty will be the first show of its kind and take place in Tokyo Japan on January 5, one day after NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. The blockbuster show will feature talent from AEW, New Japan, Ring of Honor, CMLL, and STARDOM. Stay tuned for the latest on Wrestle Dynasty and The Young Bucks’ involvement with the show.
CM Punk’s issues with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page are seemingly not over yet, despite the pair no longer being a part of the same wrestling promotion.
The issues between the two resumed on social media this past weekend, when Page spoke about his moveset, and his hope that whoever uses his moveset next being “kinda cool.” Though the Cowboy didn’t specify, many took this as a nod to Logan Paul, who has used Page’s signature Buckshot Lariat in matches.
After Saturday Night’s Main Event, CM Punk was interviewed by Jackie Redmond and Peter Roseburg, the latter of whom spoke highly of the moveset of WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware. This comment irked Punk, who believes it’s foolish for somebody to use the moveset term, especially if they’re a wrestler.
“It’s garbage. If you say that, you’re an idiot. Especially if you’re a wrestler, and you say ‘moveset.’ That 100% tells me you don’t know what the hell you’re doing.”
Punk didn’t mention Page by name, but fans online certainly spotted a connection between their two comments. Punk infamously called Page an “empty-headed f***ing dumb f**k” during his now-infamous AEW All Out 2022 post-show media scrum rant. Punk’s comments, and a backstage fight with The Elite, would see both sides suspended, andthe incident would forever change Punk’s relationship with AEW.
CM Punk has been scandal free since his return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, though it’s clear his view on ‘Hangman’ Adam Page hasn’t warmed. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on CM Punk, as leaving his AEW issues in the past is proving easier said than done.
Over the course of their careers, wrestlers will often change up their looks, and the same is usually the case when a competitor transitions to the silver screen. While Dwayne Johnson often looks indistinguishable in his live-action roles, fellow WWE alum Dave Bautista is sporting a much different look for his latest major film project.
Bautista is set to star in The Last Showgirl, a newdrama that’ll see him share the screen with Pamela Anderson (Baywatch.) This week, fans caught a glimpse of the Animal’s character, looking far different from what fans saw for years from Dave in WWE.
Bautista’s long locks in The Last Showgirl contrast greatly with his short hair or bald look he sported during his time as a WWE Superstar. The former World Heavyweight Champion is also considerably slimmer than his WWE days, as he’s openly spoken about feeling uncomfortable with how big he was for years, and feeling better after slimming down.
What Is The Last Showgirl?
Directed by Gia Coppola, The Last Showgirl will explore the challenges of reinventing one’s self in the face of change. Anderson will star as Shelley, a seasoned Las Vegas showgirl. After her 30 years on the Strip ends, Shelley is left facing an uncertain future and must navigate her life away from the glitz and glamor. Batista will star ast the show’s director.
Like Shelley, Bautista himself is preparing to navigate a new chapter in his career. The Last Showgirl sees the Animal take on a role far different from the muscled-up heavy that saw him rise to success in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and James Bond’s Spectre. Stay tuned for the latest on Bautista and his efforts to reassert himself in the world of acting, away from his muscled-up past.
The Last Showgirl is distributed by Roadside Attractions with a scheduled release date of January 10, 2025.
Matt Cardona’s desire to pick up girls at the bar led to him creating his iconic ‘Woo Woo Woo’ catchphrase used during his WWE career. Before he was the ‘Indy God,’ Cardona competed for years as Zack Ryder, and was instantly recognizable with his spiked hair, sunglasses, and chant of ‘Woo Woo Woo, You Know It!’
Speaking to RJ City on the latest episode of Hey! (EW), Cardona shared how the catchphrase came to be.
“It was what I would say to girls in the club. A hot girl [would] walk by and I’d say ‘Woo woo woo.’ It was so annoying and ‘I said I can use this on TV and get it over.’ And look what happened.”
Cardona’s time on the dating scene would eventually lead him to Chelsea Green, and the couple were introduced to one another by Cody and Brandi Rhodes. Cardona and Green married on New Year’s Eve 2021 in Las Vegas, and teamed together on the independents.
With his Woo Woo Woo-ing days behind him, Cardona has reinvented himself as a major player since his WWE release in April 2020. Next week, Cardona will challenge ROH World Champion Chris Jericho at ROH Final Battle 2024. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Matt Cardona as the Indy God continues to prove himself outside of WWE.
Hulk Hogan did not appear at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, as the Hall of Famer instead played a role in the main event of UFC Tampa. Hogan was part of the entourage who walked out with Colby Covington for his fight against Joaquin Buckley. Not only did Hogan back Covington for his walk-out, but the fighter also entered to Hogan’s iconic WWE theme song.
Despite Covington having the power of Hulkamania on his side, this wasn’t enough for him to secure the win. Buckley defeated Covington via TKO in the third round as doctors ruled that Covington was not in a fit state to continue.

Hogan and Covington have both been vocal with their support for President-Elect Trump, with Covington arriving at the arena with a pendant of Trump’s head. Trump was present at UFC 296 when Covington lost to Leon Edwards, but didn’t stick around for Covington’s post-fight comments, many of which spoke highly of Trump.
Hogan’s appearance at UFC Tampa further demonstrates the ties between WWE and UFC that grew stronger last year with the launch of TKO Group Holdings. Since then, Superstars have regularly been sighted at UFC events, which Michael Chandler called out Conor McGregor during an episode of WWE Raw earlier this year.
Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Hulk Hogan, as the Hall of Famer continues to make his presence felt in and out of WWE.
Bill Goldberg will compete in his final match in 2025, but fans may still see the WWE Hall of Famer wrestle in a Men’s Royal Rumble match. When speaking to Sportskeeda, Gage Goldberg, Bill’s son, was asked about the WWE Hall of Famer entering next year’s match to earn a future WWE World Championship opportunity.
“He’d definitely do it. He’d be down for anything. They tell him, ‘Okay, you’re gonna fight this guy,’ he’s gonna do it 100%. Go in the Royal Rumble? He’s gonna do it.”
Should he compete in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble, it’ll mark his third time in the iconic match stipulation. Goldberg made his Rumble debut in 2004, where he entered from the coveted #30 spot. He lasted 2:04 and scored three eliminations before being tossed out by Kurt Angle. In 2017, Goldberg 3:21 and again scored three eliminations, but this time was eliminated by The Undertaker.
The elder Goldberg shared in November that his final match will come in 2025, though stopped short of giving a specific date. At Bad Blood, Goldberg had a confrontation with World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, leading to speculation that Bill’s final match will be against the Ring General. WWE has yet to follow up on this storyline on TV, with Goldberg instead feuding with Damian Priest and Finn Balor and defeating both to retain his title at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Questions remain about Goldberg’s plans for 2025, but fans shouldn’t be surprised to see him on February 1, at the 2025 Royal Rumble. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Goldberg as he embarks on his final year in the ring.
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is in the history books, and the show was a nostalgic blast from the past for older fans. Alongside Jesse Ventura who provided commentary, WWE Hall of Famers Tito Santana, Koko B. Ware, Greg ‘The Hammer’ Valentine, and Jimmy Hart were in Uniondale, New York to go with the event’s retro theme.
One name fans didn’t see at Saturday Night’s Main Event was Hulk Hogan, arguably the name most synonymous with the show’s original run. Not only did the Hulkster not appear, but WWE made sure not to include any clips of the Hulkster during the show’s retro opening package.
On X, fans shared their reactions to Hogan not being featured in any way at WWE’s first Saturday Night’s Main Event show since 2008. Some were disappointed to learn that the Hulkster wasn’t featured.
Hulk Hogan is and was SNME. Not having him included to appear let alone be in the intro is ridiculous?????
It's a slap in the face to Hulk Hogan to not have him on #SNME considering everything he's done for the business. @TripleH I don't care what Hogan has said or done, America forgives. ?
Hogan made racist comments that resulted in him being removed from WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2015, though he was reinstated three years later. More recently, Hogan has been vocal about his support for President-Elect Trump, with his comments in August about slamming Kamala Harris being met with a backlash.
Chris Jericho stunned fans by appearing in GCW and attacking two of the promotion’s top stars, amid GCW’s ongoing tensions with AEW. At the event, a masked figure entered the ring during Effy Vs. Matt Cardona and laid out the Indy God. After Effy got the win, the masked man revealed himself to be Jericho and floored Effy. Jericho then removed his hoodie to reveal an AEW shirt underneath.
Jericho’s arrival in AEW certainly comes at an interesting time. Recently, AEW pulled Ricky Starks from a GCW event and all future GCW events. The move caused a backlash against Tony Khan, with fans taking issue with Starks not being allowed to work in GCW, despite AEW not using him in any way. Starks was reportedly pulled from GCW after Effy made a comment about Tony Khan’s father.
Jericho has been with AEW since the very start and has been fiercely loyal to the company, especially during the backstage drama of 2022 and 2023 related to CM Punk and others. The reigning ROH World Champion will put his title on the line at ROH Final Battle next week against Cardona. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Chris Jericho, as his appearance in GCW was certainly a surprise for more than one reason.
At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, the first-ever Women’s U.S. Champion was crowned, marking the first women’s mid-card main roster title. Chelsea Green defeated Michin to become the first-ever champion, after going through Bianca Belair, Blair Davenport, and Bayley to make it to the finals.
Green’s historic win has had the wrestling world talking. Despite being eliminated by Green in the semi-finals, Bayley is excited to see what the new champion does.
Congratulations to both – you guys won’t understand what they mentally pushed through to get to this match.
And Cardona himself was understandably pleased for his wife. Green wore an attire with one leg cut-off, a nod to Cardona’s early days in WWE as Zack Ryder.
Green’s first singles title win comes seven years to the day that she captured the Impact Knockouts Championship in TNA Wrestling. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Chelsea Green and her reign as the first-ever Women’s U.S. Champion.
Chelsea Green didn’t just make history at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event by becoming the first Women’s U.S. Champion but also joined an elite group of wrestlers. In the penultimate match of the night, Green became the inaugural champion with a tournament finals win over Michin. Green defeated Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport in her first-round match before defeating Bayley in the semi-finals.
Green’s win is only the third example of a new champion being crowned at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The first came in 1989 when The Brain Busters (Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson) captured the World Tag Team Championships. In 1992, Shawn Michaels would best The British Bulldog to capture the Intercontinental Championship. Now, Green has added her name to this elite list of WWE Hall of Famers.
H/T to @WWEStats for uncovering this stat. Stay tuned to SEScoops for more interesting wrestling facts and statistics.
Green’s victory has been a long-time coming for the self-prescribed Hot Mess. The Women’s U.S. Championship marks Green’s first title in WWE since 2021 and her first singles title ever with the company. Now, Green will be the target of every woman on the SmackDown roster, as winning a title often proves to be a lot easier than keeping it.
Former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose has become the victim of theft as the ex-NXT Women’s Champion is missing an expensive pair of boots. On social media, Rose shared that the Louis Vuitton boots she’d ordered, costing $1,500, had been stolen by her delivery driver, who marked the item as delivered. Rose warned fans to be extra vigilant around the holiday season when many delivery companies hire temporary drivers to keep up with demand.
Rose is unfortunately not the only wrestler to be the victim of theft as of late. Last month, Asuka shared that parcels delivered by Amazon had been stolen by three children. Thankfully, the parcels were later recovered and delivered to the former Women’s Champion.
The Amazon package that was stolen the other day was found by a security guard and delivered to me. Thanks Security ? ????????????????????????????????????
Rose hasn’t competed since her December 2022 termination from WWE over content shared with subscribers to her website. Rose has claimed that she was never given the opportunity to take down the content before being let go. By the end of that month, however, Rose had made over $1 million in fan subscriptions to her site, and continues to produce content for fans to enjoy.
Hopefully, Rose will be united with her expensive boots and the thief held accountable for their actions. In the meantime, the former NXT Women’s Champion will be extra careful when ordering online, a habit she hopes her fans will also pick up.
Jesse Ventura is back with WWE under a new Legends deal, and the Hall of Famer’s family played a huge role in his surprising return. Speaking to the New York Post, the former Governor of Minnesota shared his reasoning for his WWE comeback.
“I did it selfishly for my kids. I’m 73 now. I ain’t gonna be around forever. I want to position it where if anybody makes money off my name, I want my kids to have a piece of it.”
Ventura’s return to WWE has certainly come as a surprise, given his tumultuous past with the promotion. For decades, Ventura claimed that Hulk Hogan tattled to Vince McMahon that Jesse was mounting a campaign to unionize the locker room, souring his relationship with McMahon. Years later, Ventura would successfully sue WWE and McMahon for royalties stemming from his commentary being used on Home Video.
With McMahon gone from WWE, Ventura has been welcomed back with open arms, including appearing on episodes of Raw and SmackDown in recent months. After “Hell froze over,” Ventura’s future, and the future of his family, looks very bright for the WWE legend.
An incident involving a fan and Eddie Edwards unfolded during a World Tag Team Championship match at this week’s TNA Final Resolution event. The match saw Edwards and Brian Myers challenge reigning champions The Hardys, who won the titles at Bound for Glory, kicking off the third title reign for the pair.
During the match, Edwards and the fan had a heated exchange that resulted in the fan slapping Edwards. While the slap seemed light, Eddie slapped the fan back and shoved them back to their seat before officials handled the situation. The fan was removed from the area of the crowd while Edwards stated into the camera “I’m still having fun.”
Following the incident, fans speculated as to whether this was a real off-the-cuff moment or if it was a planned part of the show. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that the fan was “immediately escorted from the building and turned over to local police,” suggesting that what happened had not been planned.
This controversial incident was not the only situation at Final Resolution to raise eyebrows. The show also marked the TNA return or Tessa Blanchard, over four years after her controversial exit from the company. The first-ever female Impact World Champion attacked Jordynne Grace, kicking off a feud between the two that Grace has had reservations about.
TNA Final Resolution 2024 will certainly be a show for fans to remember, though for more than the in-ring action. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on TNA and the fallout from Final Resolution.

Segment – The Bloodline opened the show but Drew McIntyre interrupted. After a heated exchange between the two sides, McIntyre escaped through the crowd.

Toni Storm’s return to the ring proved to be a successful one for the former Women’s World Champion during the latest edition of AEW Rampage. On this week’s Dynamite, Storm made her first AEW appearance since All In: London by confronting Mariah May. The Glamor had retained the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mina Shirakawa before Storm, ditching her ‘Timeless’ persona, arrived on the scene.
Storm’s momentum continued forward during the latest edition of AEW Rampage. On the show, Storm defeated Harley Cameron. While Cameron was able to control the action at the start of the match, Storm rallied and won with a hip attack. This win marks Storm’s first in months, as her handful of matches during her AEW hiatus saw the former Women’s World Champion come up short.
SHE'S BACK!
The former #AEW Women's World Champ TONI STORM charges into action for the first time in nearly 4 months with a familiar look!
Storm’s return is a big deal for AEW, though there have reportedly been issues backstage about the circumstances behind her return match. Prior to Rampage, it was reported by Bryan Alvarez that sources in AEW were “appalled” that Storm’s return match was coming on AEW’s C-Show. Alvarez added, “People argue things with him every single week, and at the end of the day, he does whatever he wants.”
Storm is officially back with AEW, and has previously suggested waiting until February’s Grand Slam: Australia show before she challenges May for the title. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Toni Storm as the former Timeless One is ready to reassert herself in AEW’s women’s division.

Jordynne Grace is ready to show that the “ignorant” Tessa Blanchard has made a huge mistake by choosing to return to TNA. At Final Resolution, Blanchard returned to TNA after a four-year absence and made a statement by attacking The Juggernaut.
In a Digital Exclusive, Grace, who has reservations about working with Tessa. didn’t hold back when addressing Blanchard’s return. Grace, a three-time former Knockouts World Champion, said that Blanchard is ignorant and has made a mistake by returning.
“I’ve known for a while that Tessa was ignorant, but what I didn’t realize is that she’s actually a complete idiot. Coming back after all this time, after abandoning this company to try to make a statement and using me as an example. Tessa, a lot has changed since you’ve been gone. You’re going to realize very quickly that you made a huge f***ing mistake.”
EXCLUSIVE: @JordynneGrace speaks after being blindsided by Tessa Blanchard!
Grace’s comment about Blanchard being ‘ignorant’ is seemingly a nod to Tessa’s controversial exit from TNA in 2020. On the eve of becoming the first female TNA World Champion, Blanchard faced allegations of bullying and using racial slurs. The company went ahead with Blanchard’s title victory, but she would leave the company shortly after. Last year, Blanchard shared a photo with La Rosa Negra, who accused Blanchard of using a racial slur against her, showing they had made amends.
We are human and our responsibility in this world is to do better and/or be a better person to those around us.
— La Rosa Negra ??????? ?? (@LaRosaNegraPR) April 3, 2023
Blanchard’s return has already drummed up a lot of talk among fans, with debate over whether bringing her back will be a boost for TNA or if it’ll only bring unnecessary drama. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Tessa Blanchard now that she is once again part of the TNA Knockouts division.
Bianca Belair will continue forward as a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, with a new partner to replace the injured Jade Cargill. Last month, Cargill was found laid out in a parking lot, seemingly the victim of an ambush. Belair, who was competing in a Women’s U.S. Title Tournament when Cargill was found, abandoned her match to check on her friend and tag-team partner.
On the December 13, episode of WWE SmackDown, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis told Bianca Belair that Jade Cargill’s absence will cause them to relinquish the titles. Belair was against the idea, and Naomi arrived on the scene to argue that she can fill in for Cargill.
Aldis said that Belair and Naomi will need to be fighting champions, with a title defense planned for next week’s SmackDown. The SmackDown GM added that they are no closer to figuring out who attacked Cargill.
This segment marks Naomi’s first championship since returning to WWE in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble. The Glow held the tag titles with Sasha Banks in 2022, as the pair infamously walked out of WWE still with the gold.
Many have named Naomi as a suspect in the case of who attacked Cargill, and the fact that she’s gained a tag title reign in her absence will only fuel speculation. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Naomi, Belair, and Cargill, and the mystery of who took out the inaugural AEW TBS Champion.
Gage Goldberg, son of wrestling legend Bill Goldberg, could follow in his father’s footsteps thanks to a tryout offered by Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. Speaking to Sportskeeda, the younger Goldberg shared nothing but love for WWE’s Chief Content Officer.
“I honestly love Triple H. He’s super nice to my dad, great person, very nice to my mom. I like him, honestly. He’s awesome.”
When asked if Levesque has reached out to him about trying out for WWE, Gage confirmed this is the case. Gage is currently playing for the University of Colorado under coach Deion Sanders.
Gage has yet to compete in WWE, but he’s no stranger to the squared circle. After celebrating his father’s return at Survivor Series 2016, Gage would be attacked by Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam 2021. More recently, Gage was by his father’s side when Bill Goldberg confronted GUNTHER at WWE Bad Blood 2024 in Atlanta.
With Bill Goldberg set to have his final match in 2025, fans could soon be seeing more of Gage ahead of his father’s retirement. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on both Gage and Bill as the Goldberg name remains strong in the world of WWE.
