Bad Blood is back. WWE Bad Blood 2024 will take place from Atlanta, GA at the StateFarm Arena on Saturday, October 5. This date marks the 27-year anniversary of the inaugural WWE In Your House: Bad Blood PPV (October 1997) and the very first Hell in a Cell match.
WWE Bad Blood 2024 tickets go on sale next Friday, July 19 at Ticketmaster. Presale for Bad Blood tickets will begin Tuesday, July 16. Fans can register now to receive an exclusive presale offer by visiting WWE.com/badblood-2024-presale.
WWE Bad Blood
From 1997 to 2004, WWE hosted three Bad Blood events and each one was headlined by a Hell in a Cell match. The inaugural event also saw the inaugural Hell in Cell match as Shawn Michaels defeated The Undertaker (albeit thanks to the interference of the debuting Kane.) Triple H would best Kevin Nash to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in 2003 and the Game would defeat Michaels in Hell in a Cell one year later.
With Triple H’s close association with Bad Blood, it will be interesting to see how he books the show now that he is in charge of WWE’s creative prospects. Time will tell whether the show sees a Hell in a Cell match, which is also close to the Game’s career. One of Triple H’s first acts as Head of Creative was to scrap the Hell in a Cell PLE, believing that the show had lessened the importance of the stipulation. Currently, no matches have been announced for WWE Bad Blood but fans are excited to see what’s to come.
The frustrations of Drew McIntyre boiled to the surface after WWE Money in the Bank 2024, with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce paying the price.
During the show, McIntyre won the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match, and true to his word, decided to cash in on the very same night. McIntyre inserted himself in the World Heavyweight Championship match between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins. Unfortunately for the Scottish Warrior, CM Punk was around to ruin his cash in and Priest retained the World Heavyweight Championship.
Drew McIntyre Loses It
This is the third PLE that has seen Punk cost McIntyre the title, following on from WrestleMania 40 in April and last month’s Clash At The Castle: Scotland show in Glasgow. At the WWE Money in the Bank post-show, McIntyre was understandably frustrated by this latest setback. In a fiery outburst, McIntyre could be heard yelling “I know where your family lives” as referees tried to stop him from going further.
When Raw GM Adam Pearce tried to get involved, he earned an elbow from the Scottish Warrior. Wade Barrett tried to be the voice of reason as he understood that McIntyre is “pissed” but said hitting Pearce again would ensure McIntyre’s career would be over and he would never get a shot at CM Punk.
All signs are pointing to a match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre which many have predicted will take place at SummerSlam 2024. If so, it’ll be Punk’s first match since the 2024 Royal Rumble where he suffered a triceps injury Drew has taken credit for. WWE SummerSlam will take place on August 3, from Cleveland, Ohio.
More recently, WWE has filed for the terms The Match Beyond and New Blood Rising. The descriptions for these filings are as follows:
“Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fans; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely, blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”
The Match Beyond term dates back to the 1980s and was used to describe the inaugural WarGames match at Great American Bash ’87. More specifically, the term us used to signify the moment in which all participants have entered and therefore, when pinfall and submissions can be counted.
New Blood Rising was a WCW pay-per-view that took place in August 2000 and replaced Road Wild in the company’s calendar. All matches for the show were under No Disqualification rules, though this was never announced before or during the show. The main event saw WCW World Heavyweight Champion Booker T retain against Jeff Jarrett.
WWE And WCW Terminology
WWE has already used several WCW terms for its programming, including the Night Of Champions pay-per-view coming from the final episode of WCW Monday Nitro. WWE has also used Starrcade in the past with that term coming from WCW’s biggest annual event. To this day, WWE NXT hosts an annual Halloween Havoc show which like the WCW show of the same name, takes place in October and has a spooky theme.
Drew McIntyre is immensely confident that he will win the Money in the Bank briefcase but doesn’t plan on holding the coveted opportunity for very long.
McIntyre will be one of six men to compete in tonight’s Money in the Bank ladder match, alongside Andrade, Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight, Chad Gable, and Jey Uso. Speaking at the Money in the Bank kick-off show in Toronto, Ontario, McIntyre made his intentions as Mr. Money in the Bank crystal clear.
“When I win, I’m cashing in [at Money in the Bank.] I’m going to leave as world champion, and you’re all going to know what I already know, that Drew McIntyre is the best there is, soon to be the best there was, when it’s all said and done, I will be the best there ever will be.”
Drew McIntyre.
Drew McIntyre And Money In The Bank
Though one of WWE’s most successful stars in recent memory, McIntyre has one of the worst records when it comes to the Money in the Bank contract. McIntyre made his debut in the match in 2010 and has competed six times so far but is yet to win the match. The Scottish Warrior has the second-worst record in the Money in the Bank ladder match and is only slightly ahead of the 0-7 streak of Kofi Kingston.
McIntyre has one of the worst records in the match and is also joint-second for being cashed in on. McIntyre first fell victim to the briefcase in 2021 when The Miz ended Drew’s second reign as WWE Champion. McIntyre’s long-awaited World title win in front of fans at WrestleMania was ended when Damian Priest cashed in at WrestleMania 40.
All Elite Wrestling will need to find a new talent to be the promotion’s goodwill ambassador in the place of Cody Rhodes, according to All-Elite alum Kevin Kelly.
Rhodes, alongside wife Brandi, parted ways with AEW in February 2022 and the American Nightmare would return to WWE shortly after. Since then, Rhodes has become one of WWE’s top stars and is currently in his first run as Undisputed WWE Champion.
While Rhodes has achieved plenty in WWE, AEW without him has seen its share of issues. Injuries and backstage drama has taken a considerable amount of shine off Tony Khan’s promotion in the eyes of many fans. Taking to Twitter, Kelly suggested that AEW has yet to find someone who’ll represent AEW on all levels in the way Rhodes did for years.
The one spot @AEW has yet to fill is the one @CodyRhodes held down. He wasn’t just the top guy but he was the face of the company. THE Goodwill Ambassador. Ticket issue? Special request? Cody took care of it. Talent comes and goes but replacing Cody means so much more.
Kelly knows a thing or two about impactful exits from AEW, though his departure was nowhere close to as amicable as the Rhodes family. Kelly made a series of disparaging remarks on social media earlier this year including accusing fellow AEW broadcaster Ian Riccaboni of libel. After not appearing at an AEW taping, Kelly was let go by the company in
When it comes to selecting a representative of your wrestling promotion, one would struggle to find a better candidate than Cody Rhodes. Articles highlighting Rhodes’ connection with fans are a regular occurrence online, demonstrating his commitment to his role as a leading name in WWE. Earlier this year, Rhodes got up close and personal with a visually impaired fan at a WWE event who held a sign saying they were trying to see him. This heartwarming interaction came about mere weeks after Rhodes agreed to be the Best Man at a fan’s wedding.
House of Glory Wrestling is coming to Chicago this September for what will be the promotion’s first-ever event in the Windy City.
On Twitter, the official House of Glory Wrestling account announced that their debut event in Chicago will take place on September 5, from the Logan Square Auditorium. Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, July 12, at 10 AM local time.
? BREAKING ?
CHICAGO HERE WE COME ??
HOG is going Big Time as we make our Chicago debut, Thursday, September 5th in the Logan Square Auditorium!!!
— House Of Glory Wrestling (@HOGwrestling) July 5, 2024
This will be the latest event to be held at the historic Logan Square Auditorium on North Kedzie Blvd. Freelance Wrestling, which operates in and around the Illinois area, has hosted several events in the venue. In November 2018, All American Wrestling, which operates out of Berwyn, Illinois, hosted its Unstoppable event from the venue.
At this time, no names have been announced for House of Glory Wrestling’s debut event in the Windy City. With that said, fans can expect top champions including HOG World Champion Mike Santana, Cruiserweight Champion Gringo Loco, and the longest-reigning HOG Women’s Champion Violette.
A match featuring Minoru Suzuki ended abruptly this week after a serious accident resulted in the veteran being raced to a nearby emergency hospital.
Suzuki was competing in the main event of a show for the Tenryu Project when the accident occurred. The match as quickly called off by the referee and he was taken to an emergency hospital. There, Suzuki was found to have no bleeding in his head and was diagnosed with a concussion.
Details are currently scarce on Suzuki’s present condition, though it’s expected he will not return to the ring until he is medically cleared to do so. That could disrupt plans in All Elite Wrestling as Suzuki was set to embark on a feud with FTW Champion Chris Jericho. On the June 26, episode of AEW Dynamite, Suzuki rejected Jericho’s offer to be his partner for a trios match at Forbidden Door and laid out the challenge for the FTW title. Jericho instead teamed with Jeff Cobb and Big Bill at Forbidden Door in a losing effort to HOOK, Samoa Joe, and Katsuyori Shibata.
AEW’s Jeff Jarrett will always appreciate the efforts of pop sensation Taylor Swift who helped his family out during a very dark time in their lives.
Before becoming one of the most successful names in music history, Swift would babysit the Jarrett children. Speaking to Live At 9:00, Jarrett spoke about how the Shake It Off star did plenty to support the family after Jeff’s first wife passed away.
“She is a friend of the family. [She was] very good to my family during a very, very dark period when my wife got sick and passed away. But Taylor was like a big sister and came over and took the girls, baking cookies and just out at the house. I can’t say enough good things about Taylor… Just a sweetheart.”
Jarrett added that since Swift was never on the “Jeff Jarrett payroll” she was never technically a babysitter. Double-J also joked that people may not be aware that she has done rather well for herself as Swift continues to be a leading name in music.
During the post-Fastlane press conference, WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY was asked about Swift in a question that divided fans. While many saw it as a harmless bit of fun, some took issue with this question and SKY was visibly confused as to why she was being asked about a non-wrestler.
While fans may never see Swift in a wrestling ring, we know to never say never in this industry. Until then, Swift will continue to be a global-recognized megastar in entertainment, with the recent Eras tour further cementing her success.
LA Knight had a difficult time delivering a eulogy to the late Bray Wyatt but was able to work off his experience working and remembering Paul Bearer.
Following the passing of Bray Wyatt in August 2023, Knight appeared on SmackDown and spoke openly about his respect for the three-time WWE World Champion. The choice of Knight to give this promo was no accident as the Megastar had been Wyatt’s final opponent.
This was not Knight’s first time delivering an emotional eulogy to a name associated in wrestling. Following the passing of Paul Bearer in 2013, Knight, who had been managed by the macabre manager outside WWE, gave a touching tribute to the Hall of Famer. Speaking to Adrian Hernandez this week, Knight acknowledged how his first tribute prepared him for the second.
“Yeah [it was very difficult] sure. I mean, I had to do something similar to that for Percy Pringle, William Moody, most people probably know him as Paul Bearer, about eleven years ago. So I’d kind of drawn on that in a certain way where it was like I needed to go out and talk about him while also keeping the business moving and not disrespecting at the same time.”
LA Knight on his Bray Wyatt tribute.
LA Knight on if paying tribute to Bray Wyatt on Smackdown was the most difficult thing he's done in his career + will he tag with @jalenbrunson1? pic.twitter.com/MjVKnL8Jqf
Knight, in his own words, had a ‘turning point’ moment with his feud with Bray Wyatt as this angle would see the Megastar rise to become one of WWE’s most popular Superstars. Many fans believe Knight will one day join Wyatt in the annals of WWE Champions and the veteran will never forget the impact that the late Superstar has had on his career.
Tiffany Stratton made an “honest mistake” by uploading a video featuring Jade Cargill that earned a considerable backlash among the WWE Universe.
The offending video in question was shared on Instagram and saw Jade and Stratton on opposing ends of a tag-team match at a WWE live event. In the video, Cargill is called a “Black b***h” after a slap from the former WWE NXT Women’s Champion.
While Stratton herself did not utter the words, and the audio clip is used in several videos on Instagram and TikTok, the video spawned a backlash with accusations of racial insensitivity. Some fans even went as far as to tag Triple H and WWE and demand Stratton’s termination from the company.
Tiffany Stratton On Her Video
Stratton quickly deleted the video and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted at the time that “If this was someone who wasn’t a star they’d be fired instantly.” Fortunately, for Stratton that didn’t happen and she has remained a part of the roster. Speaking to Adrian Hernandez ahead of the WWE Money in the Bank 2024 PLE, Stratton was asked about the video in question.
“It was an honest mistake. I didn’t hear the audio. I had it up for maybe 20 seconds and I deleted it instantly as soon as I heard the audio. It was an honest mistake.”
Following the video, Stratton quietly bowed out of the WWE Women’s Championship picture and did not win the Queen of the Ring tournament as many had expected. With that said, it is impossible to tell if this was a ‘punishment’ for the video, or if this was simply WWE’s plans in motion. Whatever the case may be, Stratton’s video is a reminder to all to watch what they put out on social media.
Solo Sikoa has laid out the challenge for Roman Reigns to try and take back the position as the Tribal Chief of The Bloodline.
Reigns hasn’t been seen since his WrestleMania 40 loss to Cody Rhodes which saw the latter become Undisputed WWE Champion. In his absence, Sikoa has been acting as the leader of The Bloodline and has made several changes to the group. It was under Sikoa’s leadership that Jimmy Uso was ousted from the group, while Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu have been brought in.
Sikoa’s latest change to The Bloodline saw Paul Heyman ejected from the group last week after the WWE Hall of Famer refused to acknowledge Sikoa as the Head of the Table. This attack came mere weeks after Sikoa told Heyman that Roman Reigns will never return to the group he founded four years ago.
On the July 5, edition of WWE SmackDown, a video package aired of Sikoa and his Bloodline. Solo, clutching the Ula Fala, made clear he never sought to be the Tribal Chief, but this is what his family needs. Sikoa added that Reigns was no longer ‘man enough’ to be the Tribal Chief after his loss in Philadelphia, and added that “If Roman Reigns wants that back, he can try and take it from me.”
"If Roman Reigns wants that back, he can try and take it from me"
In the video, Sikoa also set his sights on the Undisputed WWE Championship and vowed that The Bloodline will take it back under his leadership. Three members of the group will face Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens in six-man-tag action at WWE Money in the Bank on July 6.
Matt Hardy made clear he’s grateful to be an American alongside some photos of himself and his family.
I am grateful to be an American. I feel fortunate that I was born into the United States. I still & will always believe in the American Dream because I was able to make it into a reality. I am blessed in so many ways that it doesn’t always seem real. I am unapologetically proud… pic.twitter.com/F8OrVzI03F
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has ensured that a fan with a disability will attend this weekend’s WWE Money in the Bank event in Toronto, Ontario.
Mike Ashkewe was stunned when he received a phone call from the American Nightmare who informed the long-time fan that there were tickets for Money in the Bank. Not only that, but Rhodes informed Mike that WWE would pay for his transportation. You can check out a click of the pair’s conversation here.
As he explained on Twitter, Mike had won tickets to Money in the Bank through Toys R Us Canada and was excited to see the WWE Superstars in action. Just days before the show, he was informed that the offer of tickets had been rescinded as they wouldn’t be able to get accessible seating for Mike, who uses a wheelchair. Later on, Mike said that WWE had apologized and made amends.
Update:
WWE has contacted me directly and apologized profusely for what has happened.
I am going to Money in the bank with all my accessibility needs covered.
This is a good ending, whatever happens next is magical and unexpected.
THANK ALL of you who posted and helped
— Mike Ashkewe (Heart of the River / O’dah ziibing) (@BirdmanODST) July 4, 2024
Cody Rhodes was also pleased to know that Mike will be able to attend the show after all and the American Nightmare made sure to credit WWE and the Scotiabank Arena.
Mike won’t just have a great seat at WWE Money in the Bank on July 6, but will also get to see Rhodes in non-title action. The American Nightmare will team with Kevin Owens and Randy Orton to face three members of The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.)
WWE Money In The Bank 2024 will be the promotion’s 15th event under the name and the second to take place outside of the United States (following last year’s event in London, England.) Five matches have been confirmed for the show including two titular ladder matches as well as bouts for the World Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships.
An independent professional wrestler has been arrested after he allegedly attempted to meet with a minor before being caught in a sting operation.
Boston teacher Darren Benedick has been charged with child enticement and one count of dissemination of matter harmful to minors, Boston Channel 25 reports. Benedick was allegedly caught in a sting operation to meet who he believed was a 14-year-old girl he had been chatting with online. This was in fact an undercover police operation. Benedick works as a physical health teacher at the Salem Academy Charter School and has been placed on administrative leave.
Darren Benedick In Wrestling
Benedick has competed on the independents as Reginal Kensington III and has done commentary for Chaotic Wrestling. A statement from the promotion reads:
“Today we received word that Chaotic commentator Darren Benedick was arrested on charges of child enticement and dissemination of matter harmful to minors. Chaotic has a strict Zero Tolerance Policy and terminated all dealings with him immediately.
“It is an unfortunate reality that this type of behavior has been prevalent in the history of the industry. Chaotic Wrestling stands resolute in the effort to cultivate a safe environment and will continue to take active steps to steer the business into a better future.”
On social media, Benedick also lists himself as the Coach for The New England Pro Wrestling Academy though the NEPWA doesn’t list him as such. A statement from The Academy shares the same sentiment as Chaotic Wrestling and describes Benedick as a “former assistant trainer.”
MXM, the team of Mason Madden and Mansoor are set to join Ring of Honor Wrestling, in the duo’s highest profile since their WWE release.
On the latest episode of ROH Wrestling, a video aired highlighting the impending arrival of the duo. Madden was described as the “mahogany hunk” and the “height of fashion.” Meanwhile, Mansoor was deemed the “sultan of suave” and “the man who will make you sore.” You can check out the video below.
MxM Collection Mason Madden & Mansoor have arrived in Ring of Honor!
— ROH – Ring of Honor Wrestling (@ringofhonor) July 4, 2024
Madden and Mansoor, collectively known as the Maximum Male Models in WWE, were released from the promotion on September 21, 2023. The pair had began teaming as models in the summer of 2022 and their comedic antics proved popular with fans. The pair’s first post-WWE event saw them appear for Deadlock Pro Wrestling in December 2023.
The arrival of MXM should not come as a huge surprise to fans. It was only recently that Fightful Select reported there had been talks of the pair joining and it was believed (though not confirmed) at the time that they had signed a contract. Mansoor joins ROH with nine years of experience under his belt after beginning his career in 2015 while Madden, a former football player, joins with eight years to his name.
WWE Talent In ROH
MXM are just the latest names associated with WWE to arrive in Ring of Honor. Mike Bennett, Tony Nese, and Claudio Castagnoli are all on the official roster as is reigning ROH Women’s World Champion Athena. The former Ember Moon has held the title since December 2022 and her reign is the longest of any ROH Women’s Champion and the longest of any champion working for a Tony Khan-owned company. It remains to be seen if MXM can match that success now they are associated with ROH.
Former WWE Superstar Dominik Dijakovic has had fans speculating on his next move after being present at AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door.
The third annual Forbidden Door show saw talent from AEW and New Japan converge on the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. In addition to the two titular promotions, wrestlers from STARDOM and CMLL were also involved as part of the show’s 14-match card.
Dijak At Forbidden Door
Dijakovic didn’t appear during AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door but he was at the UBS Arena. Taking to social media, the ex-Superstar shared a backstage photo of his sunglasses in front of a screen showing the event. To make his point clear, Dijakovic tagged AEW President Tony Khan as well as the company itself.
Dijakovic’s presence at the show came after he teased making an appearance and will no doubt fuel speculation that the former WWE Superstar could soon be All-Elite. Dijakovic announced his sudden exit from WWE last week after reports that his contract was set to expire in June 2024. According to the Retribution alum, WWE made no serious effort to re-sign him despite drafting him to the main roster in the 2024 WWE Supplemental Draft.
Where Else for Dijak?
AEW may not be the only option for Dijakovic now that his time with WWE has ended. Speaking last week, the former Superstar said in an interview with Joe Lowry that he is interested in appearing for TNA Wrestling and that the two sides had been in communication.
Dijak made clear however that these talks have not been contract negotiations. Ironically, TNA forged a partnership with WWE NXT this year shortly after Dijak’s call-up to the main roster.
AEW’s Mariah May is looking forward to the future after locking lips with Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa at Forbidden Door 2024.
Storm and Shirakawa faced off at the third annual AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door event for Storm’s Women’s World Title. Going into the match there was speculation as to where Mariah May’s loyalties would lie. The British wrestler is a long-time friend and tag-team partner of Shirakawa’s but also serves as the ‘understudy of AEW’s ‘Timeless’ star.
Toni Storm On The Kiss
May stayed relatively uninvolved at ringside, leaving it to the two women in the ring to tell the story. In the end, Storm retained her title after delivering a Storm Zero finisher to Shirakawa.
After the match, May was able to bridge the gap between her two allies. The three women shared a handshake, followed by a hug and a three-way kiss before leaving the ring together as a united front.
Speaking after the match, Storm was asked if she’s been able to put aside her differences with Shirakawa.
“When I first met Mariah’s friend Mina, I was not impressed. In fact, I was quite pissed. But now, after touching those cushiony lips, I can honestly say that I feel this is the start of a very beautiful relationship.”
Toni Storm.
Mariah May Responds
This three-way kiss is a huge victory for Mariah May who has struggled to remain aligned with both women in this feud. When asked for her own comments, she said:
“I can take them both.”
Mariah May.
Shirakawa was also asked for her comments, and admitted that at first she did not rate Toni Storm. Now though, she has grown very fond of the AEW Women’s World Champion. It remains to be seen what’s next, but these three could prove to be a dominant trio, if they remain a united front.
Tetsuya Naito is once again the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion after regaining the title at AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door.
In the show’s co-main event, Naito dethroned Jon Moxley, ending his reign at 79 days. Naito was able to kick out of a Deathrider by Moxley though the AEW star was able to withstand Naito’s Destino. In the end, a second Destino clinched the win, and the title, for Tetsuya Naito.
This win makes Naito a two-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. At Wrestle Kingdom 18 in January 2024, Naito won the gold for the first time with a win over Sanada. His 99-day reign would be ended by Moxley at Windy City Riot in April. This win also makes Naito the second-ever two-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, alongside Kazuchika Okada.
With Jon Moxley no longer the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, it remains to be seen when we’ll see the title next defended at an AEW event. While the next Forbidden Door is a year away, AEW and New Japan have close ties, meaning we could see the title defended far sooner than that. In the meantime, Moxley will turn his attention to AEW All In 2024, while the next major event for New Japan is the Fantastica Mania: USA show on July 13.
All Elite Wrestling & New Japan Pro Wrestling will team up tonight to present Forbidden Door 2024 from the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
The show will be the third annual Forbidden Door event and will see more promotions than those listed in the title. In addition to AEW and New Japan, the latter’s sister promotion STARDOM will be involved, as will Mexico’s CMLL.
Match Card
A total of 14 matches have been announced for tonight’s pay-per-view. They are:
PRE-SHOW: Los Ingobernables de Japon (Yota Tsuji, Titan, and Hiromu Takahashi) vs. The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix) and Místico (with Alex Abrahantes)

How to Watch
The Zero Hour pre-show for AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door 2024 will be streaming live from 6:30 pm Eastern and fans around the globe can catch it for free on AEW’s official YouTube channel and Bleacher Report.
The AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door 2024 pay-per-view starts at 8 pm ET live from Paradise, Nevada. The event can be purchased and streamed on Bleacher Report and traditional PPV means in the US. For international audiences, the show will be made available through Triller TV.
Tyler Mane, an actor who previously wrestled for WCW, has been featured in the latest trailer for the much-anticipated Deadpool Vs. Wolverine.
In the newest trailer, Mane can be seen reprising his role as Victor Creed aka Sabretooth. The character is one of Wolverine’s most fierce adversaries in Marvel Comics and the trailer teases a face-off between the two mutants.
While best known for his work as an actor, including appearing as Sabretooth in the 2000s, Mane competed in a handful of matches throughout his wrestling career. Mane’s biggest showcase in the ring came at WCW Fall Brawl 1993 when Mane (known as Big Sky) lost to Charlie Norris. During his WCW run, Mane also competed against Davey Boy Smith and Ric Flair. He also competed for CMLL, EMLL, and AJPW.
The third film in the series that focuses on the ‘Merc with a Mouth,’ Deadpool Vs. Wolverine follows the two titular characters (Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman respectively) in a post-apocalyptic future on a mission that threatens to change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film sees Jackman return to the Wolverine role after the character was previously killed in 2017’s Logan.
Deadpool Vs. Wolverine will hit cinemas on July 24.
Cody Rhodes’ days with AEW may be long over, but the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion was a part of the most recent episode of Collision.
On the June 29, 2024, episode of AEW’s Saturday show, a vignette aired teasing the long-awaited return of ‘Hangman’ Adam Page. Prior to this episode, the former AEW World Champion had not appeared on AEW programming since Revolution 2024 in March, where he challenged for the World title.
While Page’s vignette focused on the Cowboy, many fans were surprised to see Cody Rhodes make an unlikely AEW appearance. Around 23 seconds into the video, a photo of Rhodes, alongside Page, and the Young Bucks can be seen.
Rhodes left AEW in February 2022, just over three years after he and others founded the company in January 2019. The American Nightmare would return to WWE weeks later and has been one of the company’s top stars ever since. Despite now being part of AEW’s main competition, Rhodes has routinely praised the company and the efforts of those still in AEW in interviews.
What’s Next?
It’s unclear when Page will make his physical return to AEW, though some have speculated it could be at AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door. If not, then the Cowboy could make an impactful return at AEW All In inside Wembley Stadium this August.
As for Rhodes, he will continue his war with The Bloodline, now led by Solo Sikoa. Rhodes will team with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to face the faction at WWE Money in the Bank on July 6. The show will prove especially testing for Rhodes, as should his match happen after the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, could be the victim of a swift briefcase cash-in.
MJF has claimed that he was able to speak with the late Brodie Lee via a medium, after the former AEW TNT Champion’s sudden passing.
Lee, real name Jon Huber, passed away in December 2020 at the age of 41. Lee’s final match would take place in October of that year, where he lost the TNT title to Cody Rhodes. Lee’s cause of death was ruled as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis; a rare illness that thickens and stiffens tissue in the lungs.
Over three years after his passing, Lee’s legacy stands strong in AEW and he is remembered fondly by fans and talent alike. Speaking about Lee this week, MJF shared that he initially visited a medium to speak to his grandfather who had passed close to when Lee died.
“Before I left, they said… ‘Whoa, there’s this big individual that has just walked into the room, he’s got a big scraggly beard, and he said he needs you to send a message to his wife.’ and I’m like, who the hell is this? The medium looks at me and goes, ‘his wife’s name is Amanda. Amanda Huber.'”
MJF was “freaked out” by the medium’s comments, and this feeling continued as the medium spoke in the manner and cadence MJF associated with Lee. The conversation ended with Lee sharing a message to MJF to pass on to his widow Amanda.
“I walk up to Amanda at TV the next week, and I tell her this insane story. Her eyes start welling up because she was searching for this message. She had got her answer that day. So even in the afterlife, Brody really loved and cared about his wife and kids.”
Brodie Lee evidently had a profound effect on those who knew him and MJF is just one of many to have been impacted by Lee and the legacy of the late wrestler. To this day, Lee’s influence carries on, with AEW & Reebok teaming up to create new footwear based on the star.
More has come to light regarding Penta El Zero Miedo as his current deal with All Elite Wrestling continues to tick away.
It was recently reported that Penta’s contract with AEW will expire between August and September of this year. Penta joined the All-Elite promotion in February 2019. He is a former AEW World Tag Team Champion with Rey Fenix and the pair are also former AEW World Trios Champions alongside Pac.
Latest On Penta El Zerio Miedo In AEW
Penta is open to leaving AEW and going where the best financial offer is, Dave Meltzer reports. It’s noted that Penta believes that his next contract will be “probably his last big money deal” as the masked wrestler is currently 39 years old. Penta is also said to have “a lot of people counting on him” which has left the talented wrestler with a very difficult decision to make.
Penta On WWE Interest
Should Penta leave AEW for a better financial offer, it’s likely that nowhere else would offer him more than WWE. Speaking on COMIENDO CARNITAS, Penta was coy when asked about whether WWE has its eyes on him.
“I prefer to focus on my present and my present is currently with AEW. If any company like WWE wanted to offer me something, I would need to evaluate because there is a lot of interests on the way.”
Ultimately, Penta El Zero Miedo will do what he feels is best for himself and those who rely on him. Time will tell whether we one day call him a WWE Superstar, but for now, the masked star is focused on his work with AEW.
Some of WWE NXT’s top Superstars made his presence felt during the latest tapings for TNA Wrestling’s weekly Television show iMPACT!
At the tapings in Philadelphia, PA, Charlie Dempsey of the No Quarter Catch Crew appeared and attacked Trey Miguel, Leon Slater, and a referee. The son of William Regal, Dempsey earned loud NXT chants from the crowd in Philly.
Dempsey is no stranger to appearing for other companies despite being a part of the WWE NXT roster. Earlier this year, he competed for All Japan Pro Wrestling and unsuccessfully challenged for the AJPW Triple Crown Championship. Over WWE WrestleMania weekend, Dempsey was part of Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport X as part of GCW’s The Collective.
Dempsey wasn’t the only name from WWE NXT to appear at the TNA iMPACT! tapings. Before the event, it was advertised that TNA Knockout World Champion Jordynne Grace would be defending her title in an open challenge. Her challenge was answered by NXT’s Izzi Dame, but she was unable to dethrone the Juggernaut.

Dame’s arrival in TNA comes after Tatum Paxley challenged Grace for the gold at Against All Odds 2024. Grace herself competed in WWE NXT earlier this year and challenged NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez at Battleground 2024.
What’s to Come?
WWE and TNA’s working relationship has built intrigue in both sides, and there is a belief that there will be more down the line. Following Joe Hendry’s appearance at WWE NXT, both companies were pleased with his role and hoped for the collaboration to go further. It remains to be seen who’s next to jump through the ‘Prohibited Portal’ but don’t be surprised if more crossover comes between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling.
WWE’s Shinsuke Nakamura will have quite the role to play at the upcoming UFC 303 event, in the latest sign of synergy between the two companies.
