Heyman says Angle is trying to take the Universal Title from Lesnar because he’s putting him in a Fatal Four-Way with the most stacked heavyweight division in WWE history. Heyman theorizes that Angle wants the “Samoan disgrace” Joe to win the match because that would stick it to Lesnar. Heyman points out that any of the other competitors could be pinned in the match and it would cause Lesnar to lose the Universal Title. Heyman says if he loses the Universal Title at SummerSlam, Lesnar and Heyman are both leaving WWE, but that won’t happen because Lesnar will win and retain the title. Heyman drops the mic and heads to the back with Lesnar.

  • Alberto El Patron Stripped Of WAW World Championship Owned By Paige’s Family

Alberto El Patron Stripped Of WAW World Championship Owned By Paige’s Family

Alberto El Patron has been stripped of the Undisputed World Heavyweight Title In the WAW promotion, owned by Paige’s family. This is the top championship belt in the promotion, which is lead by Paige’s father Ricky Knight.

WAW issued the below statement on the World Title vacancy, which doesn’t mention the former champion Alberto by name.

“The WAW Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship has been declared vacant at last night’s Academy Show in Costessey, following a unanimous decision by the WAW Championship Committee. The WAWCC’s decision was announced by Zak Knight but no information was revealed regarding the crowning of a new champion. Since the announcement several individuals have announced their desire to compete for the title. Both European Heavyweight Champion Robin Lekime and British Heavyweight Champion Aaron Sharp have already revealed their desire to add more gold to their repertoire, as well as former World Heavyweight Champion Brad Slayer and former European Heavyweight Champion King Kendo. With four of WAW’s top competitors already eyeing up the most prestigious title will anyone else step forward in the hope of gaining public support?

A 32 man tournament has been announced to determine a new Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion over the course of the rest of 2017 with the final taking place at Epic Studios, Norwich in December. The entrants into this tournament will be deliberated by the WAWCC over the coming weeks before brackets are announced.”

The announcement comes about a week after an incident at the Orlando International Airport between Alberto and Paige made headlines all over the web. Paige’s brother Zak wrote on his Facebook that he’s worried about his sister and accused Alberto of domestic violence. Del Rio is also currently suspended indefinitely by Global Force Wrestling.

TMZ reported that there was some sort of domestic disturbance between the two at the airport. A witness claimed to Heavy.com that Paige yelled out loud that Alberto had been doing cocaine for “two days straight,” and Alberto allegedly replied that she was the one with the drugs in her bag.

Source: Backstage Heat On RAW Star Over Political Views

It sounds like yet another RAW star is having issues with his colleagues behind-the-scenes. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Big Cass has garnered heat with the majority of the WWE locker room. As previously noted, Cass’ now-former partner Enzo Amore isn’t winning over his WWE peers either.

According to Meltzer, Cass’ heat stems from sharing his views on politics. Cass is said to be a strong supporter of Donald Trump, which is not a view shared by many in the WWE locker room. Despite the negative feelings towards Cass, he reportedly doesn’t have nearly as much heat on him as Enzo does.

Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon is a part of the Trump Administration, so Cass’ views may not be seen as a negative thing by the McMahons.

The Anthem Sports vs. Broken Hardys legal battle has flared up again online after Matt commented that a trademark deal was imminent, then Jeff Jarrett denying that, and Matt’s wife Reby then calling out GFW and Jarrett by saying a deal was reached last week.

In a new report by PWInsider.com, sources say that Reby’s story is true and Anthem and the Hardys agreed in principle to a deal that would allow the Hardys to use the Broken gimmick.

This verbal agreement reportedly called for both sides to issue statements wishing well to the other, and would cease publicly speaking about the dispute. It was indicated that Anthem would receive a payoff for the deal, and that WWE was not involved in any negotiations.

Anthem Sports executive Ed Nordholm reportedly feels that the agreement Hardy’s lawyer sent him is not what they had verbally agreed to. If Nordholm does not sign the agreement or renegotiate the terms, the Hardys are expected to file a lawsuit for breach of contract from their old TNA deals signed by Dixie Carter.

Dixie Carter Comments On Possibility Of RAW Appearance Next Week

Former TNA President Dixie Carter recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of SI.com, and the subject of Kurt Angle and WWE was raised. During the interview, Carter was asked about the possibility of appearing on next week’s RAW as a part of Kurt Angle’s mystery angle.

“I did hear Raw will be in Nashville, which is very interesting,” Carter said. “But I wouldn’t tell you either way.”

On Monday’s RAW, Kurt Angle revealed that he will announce next week what his mysterious personal issue that could “ruin him” is. Kurt invited a mystery person to appear next week, and speculation has been running wild online that it will be either Stephanie McMahon or Dixie Carter.

“Kurt and I both took a chance on each other,” said Carter. “The results were some of the best matches in the history of the business. From the beginning, I felt a big responsibility to help Kurt on a personal level and on a professional level. Professionally, there has never been a more complete wrestler, ever. Kurt is also a great talker and so charismatic, and maybe he’s the best in-ring talent, ever. He also made sure that everyone he wrestled had their best match. He can look back on his work with Sting, EC3, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and so many others, and the common denominator in those matches is Kurt. He only has one gear, and it’s all out, but that’s also been his biggest challenge.”

Owens says he’s the rightful owner of the U.S. Title, and he tells Cena to go away again because nobody missed him. Owens says nobody wants to see Cena vs. AJ again. – After the match, Jinder gets on the mic and expresses his disgust that the American fans boo him while they cheer that snake Randy Orton. Jinder says they can boo him all they want, but the 1.3 billion people of India know he’s the best Champion of all time. Zayn says he already apologized and he’s sick of apologizing, and it seems they should apologize since they’re always in his way when he has something to do. Zayn points out that he actually wrestles matches on Smackown, and asks what Mike does here. Mike takes offense to this and slaps Zayn across the face, then smashes a vase full of roses over his face. Maria tells Zayn that’s the power of love, and sometimes love hurts.

    – Fandango and Tyler Breeze star in a Walker, Texas Ranger inspired edition of The Fashion Files. They approach Zack Ryder and fail at lassoing him. Mojo Rawley comes over and asks what he just walked into. Ryder and Mojo argue over Mojo eliminating Ryder from the Battle Royal last week. Mojo tells Ryder to get his head back to reality and leave the Fashion Police alone. Ryder says maybe Mojo is right, and maybe the Fashion Police should come back to reality too. The Hype Bros leave, and Breezango realize their toy horse has been stolen. They blame it on ghost aliens, and an X-Files graphic featuring Breeze and Fandango shows.
