He tells Stephanie what she’s doing is wrong, and that Foley has more class and integrity than she ever had. Triple H says from this moment on, he’s officially done with Seth Rollins. Triple H gives Cole some WrestleMania tickets to pass along to Rollins when he sees him. Triple H is about to leave, but changes his mind, and takes the tickets back from Cole. Triple H asks Cole, what if he could find a way to face Rollins at ‘Mania? Luke Harper Says He Felt Like a ‘Back-Up Dancer’ in the Wyatt Family

SmackDown Live star and former Wyatt Family member Luke Harper recently appeared on the Gorilla Position podcast and expressed his frustration with his current role in WWE. Harper says he doesn’t miss playing second-fiddle to Wyatt and is disappointed to not have a match at WrestleMania.

Harper says he felt like a “back-up dancer” in the Wyatt Family and grew frustrated with not being able to showcase his skills. “For a performer like me, that’s hard to take and hard to deal with and I thought that the coming out party of the last six weeks was very eye opening and, ya know, showed me what was out there,” he said.

While he’s excited about going solo, the former Intercontinental and Tag Team champion says he feels “bitter” about not being on the biggest pay-per-view of the year. When asked about what his WrestleMania dream match would be, Harper indicated he would want something more violent than what Vince McMahon currently allows on his programming.

“It would probably be a three-way dance between me, Bruiser Brody, and Terry Funk in a “No Holds Barred” match,” Harper said. “And maybe Vince [McMahon] isn’t watching. So we can do some real crazy stuff.”

  • Shawn Michaels Talks About Why The Undertaker Never Joined The Kliq

Shawn Michaels Talks About Why The Undertaker Never Joined The Kliq

In an interview with Sports Illustrated to promote his “One Night with the Kliq” Q&A session during WrestleMania weekend, former WWE World Champion Shawn Michaels fielded several Kliq-related questions. One question asked of the WWE Hall of Famer was why The Undertaker never joined Michaels’ Kliq. The Undertaker instead was in a group of wrestlers called the The Bone Street Krew, with the likes of Yokozuna and The Godfather.

“Taker has always been a calm, cool, and collected guy. But the Kliq? We were loud and obnoxious,” Michaels told Sports Illustrated. “Taker was great friends with Kevin and Scott Hall. We’ve always got along, too, and clearly now we’re closer than ever, but ‘Taker had his own crew. He ran with Yoko and the Godwins and some other guys, and we hung out with them a bunch.”

Michaels says wrestlers riding together from town to town is an important part of building those friendships. He said the difference between his friendship with the Kliq members, and people like The Undertaker or John Cena, is they never rode together.

“We’ve always gotten along well, but we never rode up and down the road together. Scott and I have known each other since the ’80s in our days wrestling in Kansas City,” Michaels recalled. “I specifically asked to work with Kevin and wanted to have him on my side, so he comes in the door and started riding with me. Everyone knows the story with Hunter—he came in and knew that we weren’t well-liked, but he wanted to hang us with us anyway. Scott worked with Sean on his first night on Raw, and he sort of has that Curt Hennig gene in him. Curt always grabbed a young guy and said, ‘You’re jumping in the car with me,’ and that’s what Scott did with Sean.”

Michaels’ “One Night with the Kliq” Q&A session takes place on Saturday, April 1st. You can read Michaels’ full interview at SI.com.

Jericho wants Owens to tell him face to face why he turned on him. Owens comes out to the stage in his ring gear and indicates that he won’t answer Jericho. Jericho tells him to be quiet… quiet… quiet… quiet… and asks him again, why he betrayed him. Owens says he didn’t stab his best friend in the back, because Jericho was never his best friend. Owens says Triple H told him to do whatever it takes to keep the title, so Owens used Jericho as a tool to watch his back. Owens says Jericho screwed up and went from being a tool to a burden, so Owens took him out. Owens says he knows he would have beaten Goldberg if it wasn’t for Jericho. Jericho says he doesn’t want Owens to be his friend, because he has the “Friends of Jericho” in the crowd in Chicago, which prompts a Y2J chant. Jericho says costing Owens his Universal Title doesn’t make them even, and Jericho is just getting started getting back at Owens. Jericho then challenges Owens to a match at WrestleMania. Owens says he’ll accept if Jericho puts his U.S. Title on the line, and Jericho accepts. This leads to Owens hitting the ring and they start brawling. Samoa Joe comes in from behind and joins Jericho in beating down Jericho. Sami Zayn runs in for the save and he’s got a steel chair. Owens and Joe overpower Zayn, but now Jericho grabs the chair and he lays out the heels. Joe and Owens retreat which Jericho and Zayn stare them down from the ring.

Aries tells Neville the WWE Universe disagrees with him. Neville orders Aries to get out of the ring and taunts him for working as a commentator. Aries says he’s just trying to do his job, and he has one more question. Aries hits Neville with the mic and follows up with a running elbow to the face that sends Neville rolling outside. The crowd starts chanting for CM Punk, which Goldberg nods his head in agreement with. Paul Heyman interrupts next and says he didn’t come here tonight alone. Heyman introduces Brock Lesnar, and they head down to the ring together. Lesnar walks over right in front of Goldberg, and Heyman says Lesnar is here tonight to shake Goldberg’s hand and congratulate him on winning the Universal Title. Heyman says Goldberg has earned their respect because he’s proven himself to be the real deal, but Lesnar will be the winner at WrestleMania. Goldberg declines to shake Lesnar’s hand, and Heyman keeps talking. Heyman says after WrestleMania, people will be calling Goldberg “Brock’s bitch.” This causes Goldberg to turn his head away from Lesnar, and Lesnar hits an F-5 on Goldberg. • The Miz Says SmackDown Is Better Than RAW, Talks Inspiration For His Promos

The Miz Says SmackDown Is Better Than RAW, Talks Inspiration For His Promos

The Miz says he’s confident that SmackDown Live is the superior weekly TV show under the WWE umbrella. In a recent interview with Planeta Wrestling, The Miz explained why he feels SmackDown has emerged from behind and is now better than Monday night RAW. The Miz listed himself, Baron Corbin, and AJ Styles as wrestlers who stepped up to the plate for the blue brand, noting that Styles won the WWE Championship in less than a year in the company.

“I feel like [SmackDown] has always been known as the second show, it’s not the baby,” he said. “I feel like RAW has always been the coveted one. With the talent WWE brought over to SmackDown Live, everyone looked at that and said you know what? We’re gonna make that this show the most talked about, must see, that people want to see what will happen next, we’re gonna have water cooler talk, and that’s exactly what we set out to do. And that’s exactly what we’ve done.”

The Miz was also asked about the inspiration for his promos on SmackDown. He says he’s been cutting promos so long that sometimes he doesn’t even realize what’s coming out of his mouth anymore.

“I reach inside and I just let them rip,” Miz told Planeta Wrestling. “Sometimes when I’m cutting a promo I don’t even know what I’m saying. My mouth just keeps moving to be honest with you. Half the time I’ll be cutting a promo, then I just go to my wife and I’m like ‘What did I just say?’ She’ll explain to me what I say. Sometimes my mind turns blank and I’ll just keep going. It just comes off of – I don’t even know how to explain it. But I’ve been cutting promos for so long that now you just try to look for the feeling. What feels real to you? What motivates you? What do you want out of this? Those are the things I ask myself.”
