  • Kelly Kelly Says Vince McMahon Taught Her How To Striptease

A bikini-clad Kelly Kelly pressed against a red sports car is featured on the cover of the December 2011 issue of Maxim. Enclosed are photos as well as a one-page interview in which she discusses her journey through WWE, crazy fan experiences, trips overseas and more.

When asked if she was a wrestling fan before joining the industry, she replied, “Oh, yeah, since I was a kid.”

She continued, “My mom thought it was too violent, but my dad would sneak me into the bedroom to watch with him. It never crossed my mind I could do this kind of stuff. I thought wrestlers were larger than life, so when WWE called and asked if I wanted to train, I was like, “Oh, my God, yes!”

Kelly made her WWE debut on June 13, 2006, becoming the youngest female performer in company history at age 19. Her character, an exhibitionist, was introduced performing a striptease for the crowd. She reveals Vince McMahon demonstrated the routine she performed in front of the crowd that night.

Kelly recalls, “I’d only been training for two months when I found out I was going to start appearing on TV—as an exhibitionist! When Vince McMahon showed me the routine, I was in shock, but, you know, anything to get my foot in the door. It was the most nerve-racking minute of my life.”

Kelly definitely feels she had to prove herself to “the boys.”

“A lot of the guys there didn’t like me at first, because they were used to training with girls who had wrestling experience. I was the youngest Diva they’d ever had and one of the first models, so I was like, “I’m going to work my butt off.”

On the June 20, 2011 edition of Raw, Kelly won her first WWE title after she was selected by the WWE Universe to face Brie Bella. She says that is her most memorable moment in WWE.

“To win the title, after being in the ring for five years—it felt like I’d really achieved something,” Kelly says. “It was my time.”

  • Demolition: Road Warrior Ripoff Claims, Mr. Fuji & More (Video)

Interview with Former WWE Tag champions Demolition
Hosted by Arda Ocal (@arda_ocal) of TheScore.com

Why the original Smash Randy Colley (Moondog Rex) was replaced by Barry Darsow:

Bill Eadie : “It was well known that Randy was part of the Moondogs. To try to have another persona, your also popular as that previous persona. It was fortunte for me cause Randy is a good friend of mine, but Barry is alot more professional, and a much closer friend.”

Barry Darsow: “When I got the call to come up there, Vince called me and told me I have the chance to be partners with Bill Eadie, I just said yes right away, I just jumped at the chance.”

If Demoition are a rip off of the Road Warriors: (Eadie) “We knew what we could do, we felt we were successful. I thought we did it better. This is an ego driven business, so if you don’t have confidence in yourself, you need to get out of the business. There’s gonna be fans that say that we are rip offs, but there’s gonna be Demolition fans that say they (Road Warriors) were the rip offs. I cant be worried about that. My main concern and his (Barry Darsow) main concern is we went to work each day, and we did the best we could.”

    Other Topics Discussed Include:

    – Why Demolition is so popular compared to their other personas and which personas they enjoyed working as the most

    – Who came up with the Demolition character

    – Were Demolition better as a babyface or heel tag team

    – How important Mr. Fuji was to the success of the team

Here’s a video clip of the interview:

They’re a big part of the consumerism that goes on in this country. The biggest statement you can make is not to participate in the consumerism of it all. Don’t buy the stuff. • More Details On Evan Bourne’s Suspension From WWE

WWE announced Tuesday they have suspended performer Evan Bourne for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s Talent Wellness Program.

WWE issued a press release stating: “In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Matthew Korklan (Evan Bourne) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s policy.”

Bourne’s suspension was not unexpected since he was summoned to a meeting with WWE officials at Monday’s Raw SuperShow in Atlanta, Georgia regarding a recent violation of their Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy (a component of the Talent Wellness Program), which according to corporate.wwe.com, “prohibits the use of drugs by talent for other than a legitimate medical purpose pursuant to a valid prescription from a licensed and treating physician.”

WWE employees were surprised he and Kofi Kingston didn’t lose the Tag Team Championship on Raw. The duo is now expected to drop the titles at tonight’s SmackDown in Greenville, North Carolina since his suspension has been publicly announced.

Many WWE performers believe the recent rash of suspensions is tied to Talent Wellness Program administers cracking down on usage of synthetic cannabis, which was added to the banned substances list in June. Sold under the brand names K2 and Spice, the substance was banned for at least a year effective March 1, 2011 by the Drug Enforcement Administration so they could study its effects more thoroughly and decide whether a permanent ban is necessary.

Bourne is the third WWE performer to be suspended in the past month, following Darren Young and Heath Slater.

“Since it is in my country, this will be my first wrestling before my countrymen, I don’t want to be unprepared for the historical event,” Khali said.

WWE.com announced Khali suffered a fractured fibula following a brutal attack by World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry on the September 30 SmackDown. The angle was conducted to remove the former World Heavyweight Champion from television since his contract is set to expire and will likely not be renewed. He is, however, expected to maintain a relationship with WWE.

    — Matches taped Monday night in Atlanta, Georgia for this week’s episode of WWE Superstars were Drew McIntyre vs. John Morrison and Tyson Kidd vs. Yoshi Tatsu.

    — As we reported earlier this morning, WWE annuonced today that Evan Bourne has been suspended for 30 days after his first violation of the company’s Wellness Policy. WWE issued a press release announcing the Bourne suspension, the first time they’ve done this in a long time.

Following the recent Wellness suspensions from Sin Cara, Mike Chioda, Darren Young, Heath Slater and now Evan Bourne, some WWE superstars believe the suspensions are related to WWE cracking down on synthetic marijuana, which is a legal substance.

    – WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has provided an update on the health status of Barry Windham. Ross tweeted on Monday:

“Talked to Mike Rotunda today here in Atlanta, and he said Barry Windham was improving from heart attack and liver issues. Still hospitalized.”
