The official movie poster has been released for the upcoming WWE Studios film, Inside Out (starring Triple H) – and it’s pretty badass.
Here’s the official movie synopsis (courtesy of IMDB.com) and the poster for Inside Out, which is due out September 9th:
For the last thirteen years AJ (Triple H) has been behind bars, convicted of manslaughter for killing a man who intended to kill his best friend, Jack (Michael Rapaport). Now released, AJ wants nothing more than to start a small business and live a crime-free life. Unfortunately, within hours of leaving prison, his oldest and best friend, Jack (Michael Rapaport) involves AJ in an accidental shooting in which a man is killed, forcing Jack to skip town.
Jack, a high-strung, low-level mobster, has taken good care of AJs family while he was in prison. When Jacks father and local mob boss Dr. Vic (Bruce Dern) comes looking for retribution, AJ is compelled to protect Jacks family. Jacks family consists of his wife, Claire (Parker Posey), who has never stopped loving her former beau AJ and her teenage daughter Pepper (Juliette Goglia).
Martha, (Julie White) an agent for the Louisiana Tax Board, has been investigating Dr. Vic for smuggling counterfeit cigarettes into Louisiana and tax evasion. She is determined to bring Dr. Vic and Jack down with or without AJs help. In the end, AJ will stop at nothing to protect the woman hes always loved and the daughter he never knew he had.

To recap – Maryse’s stalker is 61-year-old Lee Silber, who Maryse claims has sent “numerous terrifying letters to my home and left more than 50 voicemails on my personal cell phone all of which are extremely disturbing and delusional.”
According to TMZ.com, WWE is now beefing up security at live events and taking “serious security measures” to keep Maryse safe, in the event that Mr. Silber shows up to greet the French Canadian diva.
Beyond that – information regarding these new security measures is being kept quiet in order to remain effective.
WWE newcomer Sin Cara, who is currently serving a 30-day suspension due to a violation of the company’s Wellness policy, is being advertised for the August 20th SmackDown live event from Tacoma, Washington.
Sin Cara was suspended back on July 18th and the 8/20 Tacoma show is the first event he is eligible to appear on.
Despite reports that Sin Cara actually failed the Wellness test back in June, the violation was not announced until July 18th – which will keep him out of action for SummerSlam and the following SmackDown taping.
There had been talk in WWE that Sin Cara might not be brought back following his drug test failure, so it will be interesting to see whether he actually appears on this show or not.
Ultimate Warrior revealed his thoughts regarding WWE Superstars John Cena and CM Punk on his Facebook page.
Warrior said of Cena: “I don’t know John. Or any of the other guys. It’s been a long time since I was in the business and none of them were there when I was, except for a few, like Undertaker. I don’t watch TV or PPV’s and I don’t visit wrestling newssites. However, I was told by the top decision maker in the business, “nobody wants to go for the brass ring anymore, except this John Cena kid…I think, anyway.” I’ve heard from other reliable sources that John is a hard worker.
“I know from my OWN experience that self-discipline, stamina and hard work goes a long way with a decision maker who can go longer and harder than 99% of talent he’s seen come and go throughout the years.”
Warrior remarked the following regarding Punk, who he has exchanged multiple messages with on Twitter: “From what I have heard, he’s got a good ear to his gut instincts and follows the music of his OWN muse. A man’s entire destiny depends on how much he will trust these two virtues. Doesn’t matter if wants to rule a wrestling ring or the world. If he will fight and bleed for them and guard them from falling prey to ANY other human being’s advice, he could write himself a damn good-sized ticket, especially with today’s culture being what it is.
“About Punk and the others, I say it is their time and let them have it.
“If a Superstar from yesteryear can’t contribute in a way that allows the new crop of talented guys to shine and have their day in the spotlight, contribute in a way to let them Feel their Power, then they should pack their gear bag and go fucking home. Pack your gear bag and go the fuck home.”
Warrior’s full statements on Cena and Punk are available on his Facebook page.

Former WWE star Billy Gunn appeared on World Wrestling Insanity, which is available at ClubWWI.com. Highlights from his interview are as follows:
With a career spanning more than two decades, Kip “Billy Gunn” Sopp has had plenty of high points. To many fans of the WWF Attitude Era, Gunn is most remembered as DX’s “Mr. Ass”. Alongside Road Dogg, X-Pac, Chyna, and Triple H, Billy created some unforgettable TV moments. However, when he left the company in 2004, he made waves with some harsh comments pointed at his former DX stable mate Triple H. He lashed out at the Game and appeared to blame him for his WWE departure. Years removed from those comments, James Guttman asks Bad Ass Billy about those stinging shots. Gunn takes responsibility and explains some of his reasoning to ClubWWI.com members:
“Know what it was? I didn’t want to take the blame for what I had done- things that I was doing, things that (made it so) they couldn’t keep me around. I just couldn’t take it that (WWE) called me and said – not that this matters – but they had said that when I’m done wrestling, “there will always be a spot here for you as an agent or something like that.” I love helping other people. I love teaching now. I love trying to give away what I have if anyone is interested in knowing a little of what I know. My frustration came out on the one person that was the main guy there and that was Hunter. I just opened fire on him because it was all about me and not wanting to take responsibility for me and my actions.”
Guttman asks Gunn if his position has changed on Hunter. ClubWWI.com members are familiar with wrestlers unloading on the authority figures in WWE, but it’s rare that someone owns up to saying something they regret in hindsight. But that’s what Billy does…
“Has my position changed with him? Yeah. It has. Do I want to pick up the phone every day and call him to apologize? Yeah. Because it was something I did out of selfishness and the selfish person that I was back then. Not that I blame it on anything, but I had a bunch of things going on in my life that was really not that good. I took it out on him and, like I said, I wasn’t taking responsibility for my own actions. That’s what I did.
“I lashed out at him and everybody I could and I had somebody who was willing to listen and let me go on a live shoot tape to say whatever I wanted. Why would I not? It was all about making me look better and making someone else look bad. I know now that people were going, “Yeah, well it’s really just you. It’s not anyone else.” So yeah. I regret what I did then and for sure now because I’m sure something like that is keeping me from being back there training people. I wish I could change it, but I can’t change it. So I just have to live with the things I’ve done and the actions that I do from here on forward.”
Billy Gunn goes in-depth about many moments from his career throughout the interview. But now that he’s no longer tied to WWE or TNA, it leaves him time to meet and interact with fans. Doing so at Indy shows and autograph signings, Gunn gets to answer many questions fans may have. However, it’s social media that lets him connect with those he credits for making his career so memorable – the fans. He then tells ClubWWI.com members and fans all over the world how they too can pick his brain and discuss the business with him.
“I appreciate it all. I just started this new Twitter thing and it’s @realbillygunn and started Twittering. And it’s amazing to me because I can literally stay on that thing all day long. I’m a Twitter freak now. People ask me a lot of questions and I get back to them and answer their questions because, as we know, (fans) ask (wrestlers) a lot of questions and nobody ever answers anything or they don’t get a straight answer. I appreciate everybody that followed me and everybody who thinks I did do something in this business and that I am worth something. I appreciate it all and I honestly do. I wish I could literally answer every single person that had a question for me. I just don’t think I have that much time left (laughs) to do that. But if you go on Twitter and follow me and have a question, I promise I will try to answer it. I literally stay on the phone for hours answering questions – and it’s usually the same question just asked a little different – and that’s my way to give back to people because if it wasn’t for the fans, there’d be no me.”
Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis appeared on Monday Night Mayhem, which airs every Monday at 7:00 p.m. via MondayNightMayhem.com. Highlights from her interview are as follows:
The importance of giving back to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as part of her return to Nashville for Crossfire Entertainment’s benefit event on August 20th: How excited in Maria for the event in Nashville, Tennessee coming up on Saturday August 20th: “I’m so excited to do it, because I always enjoyed doing the Make-A-Wish Foundation events. I did it when I was on ‘Celebrity Apprentice, and I made some money for them when I was there. It’s just an incredible foundation. I’m excited for the event.”
What she feels has been her key to success since leaving the WWE and succeeding in areas that others have failed: “I’m hungry for knowledge. I’m hungry for success. I’m hungry for what comes next. Once you lose that hunger, it’s when you fall short and you go stale. Maybe it’s not the easiest thing in the world. I tried music, and I love music. I love to write, but maybe that’s not for me. I’m going to keep going with it and see what happens. But at the same time, I’m doing that. I’m doing something different everyday.”
Why she believes that CM Punk resonates with today’s fans and why now is “The Era of Punk”: “I think Punk is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, in wrestling right now and for a while now. I love The Rock, and I love ‘Stone Cold,’ but right now is ‘The Era of Punk.’ He’s incredible. I’m so happy for him to be doing exactly what he enjoys doing, and that’s to be honest and to be straight edge. I think it’s incredible for him. Punk does not care about the show. He does not care the pyro, and the fanfare, and ‘Let me put on a fancy suit and let me look perfect everywhere I go.’ What he cares about is wrestling. He cares about the wrestling business. He wants integrity in the wrestling business, and that is why it resonates with the fans. A lot of people care about the fanfare of it all, but they forgot what is wrestling is truly about.”
— It was announced on SmackDown that Christian will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred Match at SummerSlam.

— Cliff Compton (a/k/a Domino) indicated on Twitter that the chances of him returning to WWE are highly unlikely.
He wrote, “I will return to WWE when Axl and Slash reunite.”
The former WWE star is comparing the situation to Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose’s relationship with former bandmate Slash, as the two haven’t spoken since the mid-90s. Rose said two years ago that there was no chance that they would reunite – saying that one of the pair would “die” before such an event could occur.
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with another blog update, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com. Here are some highlights of what JR wrote about:
The New Steve Austin DVD Project: “What details do I know about the Stone Cold DVD that is being produced? I know that Steve is really hands on the project and will be involved throughout the production of the entire project, that a WWE camera crew & a producer spend parts of three days at Austin’s Broken Skull Ranch in South Texas earlier this week, and that no subjects were ‘off limits’ as Steve told me he talked about a litany of controversial topics that he had never addressed before on any other DVD including some of an extremely personal nature. I don’t know the release date of this multi disc set but it will be after October 25 when the much anticipated HBK-Hitman Rivalry DVD is released but in time for holiday shopping.”
Will ROH’s New Show Hurt TNA? “Do I think that ROH will adversely affect TNA once ROH begins airing their weekly, syndicated TV show? Likely not. Wrestling fans have proven over time that if multiple brands are compelling enough that they will watch. While my focus is on WWE, I am a fan of the genre and wish success to whoever is earning a living in it. ”
Is CM Punk the Next Steve Austin? “I hope not. I hope that Punk is simply the best CM Punk that he can be. The best for Punk has yet to come in my view. Punk being compared to Austin is inevitable because both are ‘defiant’ and ‘anti establishment’ persona’s but their in ring styles, body types, etc are distinctly different.”
Who’s the Most Underutilized Persona in WWE? That’s a loaded question. Could be several people, if those people were asked the same question. Zack Ryder fans would say Zack, etc. I might suggest William Regal who has a refined, multiple skill set who can wrestle, talk, manage, train talent and broadcast.

Eve Torres took part in an interview with the Peoria Journal Star promoting tomorrow night’s Raw live event at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois, which she will guest host. She was asked whether she finds working with WWE head Vince McMahon intimidating.
“Vince has always been so hands-on, and that’s why WWE does so well. You hear it straight from the horse’s mouth,” she said. “He teaches us what it means to be a sports entertainer and how to captivate (an audience). He has given me personal feedback. Is it intimidating? Heck, yeah, it is. It’s kind of hard to break the ice with him when you’re first starting here. But eventually you feel a little more comfortable. It’s a family feel, the WWE.
She also responded to criticism that the quality of the Divas division is lacking.
Torres said, “We have to work basically in a man’s world. I definitely, without sounding like I’m complaining, will state that we have it the hardest in the WWE. You don’t see much of us (on TV programming).
“When it comes to the live events, you get to see great Diva matches you don’t see on Monday Night Raw. We have great fun and some awesome, kick-butt matches. There are a lot of liberties we take (during live matches) we can’t take on TV. I’m proud of the Diva division. We’re in a struggling place right now in terms of TV time, (but) I know what each of us are capable of.”
She also reveals which past Diva she most emulates, transitioning from a dancer to WWE, and more. To read the full interview, click here.

Former independent wrestler Devon Nicholson has filed a 6.5 million dollar lawsuit in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice against Larry Shreve (a/k/a Abdullah the Butcher), a WWE Hall of Famer.
The lawsuit stems from a 2007 match in Ottawa, Ontario, where Nicholson alleges that Shreve cut him with a razor blade without his permission. Nicholson alleges that Shreve’s blood mixed with his own and gave him Hepatitis C.
Nicholson learned of his infection in mid-2009. That September, WWE rescinded their three-year contract offer to Nicholson, allegedly on the basis of his disease.
According to Nicholson, his lawyer met with Shreve in September 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia, and agreed to provide blood work. Yet, the suit alleges, Shreve never provided the promised sample or result.
Shreve posted this note on his Facebook page on July 17: “I received my medical reports; I have NO hepatitis, or AIDS and anything. My blood tests are ALL negatives then these fools will be prosecured in justice… Hannibal, Billy Graham and especially New Jack, the most vulgar Boy whom business knew!”

During an investor conference calls this week – executives stressed the company would thrive in the third quarter, when it expects to generate the most revenue and earnings per share in the company’s history – with the new WWE ’12 game being a big part of that plan.

The founding Nexus member also alleges that Cena laughed in his face afterwards.

— WWE officials went to great lengths to keep the arrivals of both CM Punk and Jim Ross a secret before they aired on Raw. Both talents were hidden from almost everyone in the organization. They were sent to different hotels from everyone else in fear that someone would see them and relay it online. Neither came into the Hampton Coliseum until they were given the cue to appear, both being sequestered somewhere on the premises. They were not even on the sixth and final script for the show and aside from those who had to directly interact with them on television, all performers weren’t aware of either of talent being in Hampton, Virginia. Ironically, the arena itself was advertising Punk for the event.
