TNA Wrestling performer Kurt Angle, a former WWE Champion, posted numerous messages on his Twitter account last night during WrestleMania XXVII criticizing Randy Orton, Jack Swagger, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler for using his trademark finishing maneuvers during their respective matches. Orton responded to Angle on the site, saying ‘everything’s been done’ and that a wrestler using another’s move should be considered a sign of respect.
Angle has since changed his tune on the matter as he claimed today that his Twitter account was hacked. He adds that most of the tweets in question weren’t from him.
“I just found out somebody hacked into my Twitter account,” Angle wrote. “Most of those tweets weren’t from me. I just found out today. I will find out.
“Who would do this? I don’t know why somebody would pretend to be me. I apologize for the remarks. I’m not a twitter guy so I rarely use it.”
Below is his statement in its entirety:
“To anyone I upset, I am sorry. I didn’t watch W-mania last night. I DID get a lot of tweets during Show. About Orton, Swagger, etc.Who cares?”
“I think the whole thing is Halarious. How I upset all of U amazes me.I don’t read dirt sheets, but u heard they r upset. They’re ‘dirt’ sheets.”
“I Hope that W-mania was entertaining for all of You, especially ‘The Rock’. Oh, and Orton-relax, I won’t beat ur ass. You can use my move:).”
“2 Randy Orton’s credit, I Heard He had the best match of the night. Good for You! Btw,I Never used Shamrock’s finish while he still wrestled.”
“There’s a big difference to using a Finish somebody did b4 U, and is doing while U still Wrestle. The fact is, I don’t care. Sorry everybody.”
“Lastly,I just found out somebody hacked into my Twitter account. Most of those tweets weren’t from me.I just found out today. I will find out.”
“Who would do this? I don’t know why somebody would pretend to be me. I apologize for the remarks. I’m not a twitter guy so I rarely use it.”
“On a side note,Randy and I discussed the Angle Slam.I am happy Orton used my Finish. As he put it,imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”
“Good Luck Randy. Thank You for reaching out to me!!!”

In response to our earlier report on Kurt Angle tweeting on WWE stars using his signature moves at last night’s WrestleMania event, Randy Orton had the following comments to say.
Everythings been done before as far as ‘moves’ go in the sports entertainment. I want to thank SCSA for the ‘Thesz Press’.
And I know for a fact that SCSA got the ‘Thesz Press’ from Dutch Mantel.
Point being, instead of taking offense to someone using your move, consider it a sign of respect.
Btw does anyone know what Ken Shamrocks finish was? I believe Jack Swagger used ankle lock outta respect for Ken?
TNA Wrestling performer Kurt Angle, a former WWE Champion, posted numerous messages on his Twitter account during WrestleMania XXVII criticizing Randy Orton, Jack Swagger, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler for using his trademark finishing maneuvers during their respective matches.

“I heard Orton had an Awesome match though. Ur welcome. Lol.”
“I guess Swagger will use my Ankle Lock as well.Very creative. I’m the Best in the World. You Guys will never be Kurt Angle.can I get an AMEN.”
“Kurt Angle will never die. TNA. WWE. I’m a leader. Not follower.”
“Why would WWE use my finishes? Is it because I won’t go back? R Orton- Angle Slam. M Cole- Ankle Lock? They have some nerve.”

WrestleMania XXVII Results: 4/3/2011
From the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia
Solomonster here, thanks for joining us tonight. Keri Hilson out to perform America the Beautiful.
Rock is out to a monster reaction for a promo to start the show. He promised to electrify and didn’t really have much else to say, other than getting the crowd to chant “WrestleMania” and”Yabba Dabba” along with him. He said his catchphrase and left. Fade to the usual intro video.
We’re starting with the World Heavyweight Title on the line! First time in Mania history.
World Heavyweight Championship Match
– Edge (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio
Story of the match was Del Rio working over the arm of Edge to set him up for the cross arm bar. Edge got out of it and fought through interference by Brodus Clay to deliver a spear for the clean pin and retain the World title in 11:45. After the match, Edge and Christian took a lead pipe and a tire iron to Del Rio’s $100,000 Rolls Royce on the stage. Del Rio cried to end the segment. Not exactly made to look strong here.
By the way, Michael Cole is in the Cole Mine announcing with Jerry Lawler and Josh Mathews.
Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes
Mysterio is out wearing a pretty neat Captain America costume. Good back and forth match that featured a great spot where Rhodes delivered a delayed vertical suplex on the second turnbuckle to Rey. Cody ripped off Mysterio’s kneebrace and Rey ripped off Cody’s mask during he match. Later on, Cody nailed Mysterio with the kneebrace on a dive through the ropes and brought him back inside to deliver Crossroads for the pin in 11:38. Huge win for Cody who got lots of chants during the match as well.
Backstage segment with Teddy Long and Snoop Dog looking for talent to join him on his upcoming tour. William Regal rapped (if you can call it rap), Great Khali and Beth Phoenix sang a song from Grease, Roddy Piper clocked Zach Ryder with a coconut from behind, and Hornswoggle spoke for the first time on TV, rapping with the Bella Twins. Total comedy.
8-Man Tag Team Match:
Wade Barrett, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater and Ezekiel Jackson vs. Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, Big Show and Kane
This was a colossal waste of a match. Kofi took out some members of The Corre with a cross body block on the outside, Santino delivered the Cobra and Big Show knocked out Heath Slater with a punch for the pin in just 1:27.
Backstage segment with The Rock and Eve (you know, the Divas champion who doesn’t have a match on the show). This leads to an appearance by Mae Young where she smacks the Rock’s ass on the way out. Rock then turns around and comes face to face with Stone Cold Steve Austin. They exchange pleasantries and really drive home how much I wish we could get another Mania match between these two.
Randy Orton vs. CM Punk
Story here was Punk working over Orton’s injured leg. Once Orton regained the advantage, he went for the punt but collapsed in a heap, feigning a leg injury. When Punk sauntered over, Orton went for the RKO but Punk was smart enough to slither out to the apron. He then went for his springboard clothesline, but this time Orton caught him in mid-air with an RKO and got the pin in 14:53.
Backstage now with Gene Okerlund and The Rock. Some more comedy here that ends with Rock confronting Pee Wee Herman, who he inducts into Team Bring It. That’s enough of a reason to leave Team Bring It as far as I’m concerned.
Special Guest Referee: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin
– Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole with Jack Swagger
Jim Ross and Booker T are out to call the next match with Josh Mathews. After some stalling inside the Cole Mine, Lawler went after him and got him in the ring. Jack Swagger attacked King on the outside and put him in the ring. From there, the match just dragged and dragged as Cole beat up Lawler. At one point, there was a loud boring chant. When Lawler started making his comeback, Swagger threw in the towel, but Austin would have none of it. Swagger came into the ring and ate a Stunner from Austin. Lawler then proceeded to beat up Cole, executing a fistdrop from the second rope and ending with an anklelock for the submission victory in 14:21. Austin shared some beers with Lawler after the match and Booker T even ran in to do a Spinaroonie and participate in the beer bash. Austin then nailed him with a stunner to a big pop. The anonymous Raw GM then chimed in and Josh Mathews announced that because the referee overstepped his bounds, he was reversing the decision and awarding the DQ win to Cole. Lawler threw Mathews into the ring where Austin delivered yet another Stunner. The most hilarious part about all of this was the fact that every other word out of Austin’s mouth was the f-word. I mean, it was totally absurd.
Time for THE STREAK.
No Holds Barred Match With “The Streak” On The Line
The Undertaker vs. Triple H
Triple H is out first to Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls” before seguing into his usual theme music. Undertaker out to Johnny Cash. Didn’t take long to spill out to the floor. They destroyed the Cole Mine. Triple H went for a Pedigree thru the announce table, but Undertaker backdropped him to the floor and it looks like that sucked for Hunter. Undertaker gets back in the ring and oh no, please tell me he’s not going for the dive. BUT HE DOES and Taker wipes out Hunter on the floor with a HUGE cross body block over the top to the floor. Undertaker recovers, thank god, and positions the steel steps by the spanish announce table and tries for a tombstone on the steps, but Hunter slips out to the floor. Undertaker gets a running start and charges toward Triple H, but Hunter catches him for a spinebuster through the table! These guys are killing each other out there. Each man hit his finisher a bunch of times, only for the other man to kick out for several near falls. This includes Triple H hitting three Pedigrees, but Taker kicked out each time. Triple H is shouting for him to stay down now as he lays in repeated chairshots to the back. Triple H now hoists Undertaker up for a Tombstone and nails it for the best near fall of the match. A desperate Triple H retrieves a sledgehammer from underneath the ring and goes to use it, but Undertaker catches him in the Hells Gate submission and Hunter has no place to go. After valiantly fighting, Triple H is forced to tap out for the submission in 29:30 of a FANTASTIC match. Just great stuff.
Both men exit the ring gingerly, but Undertaker just collapses on the ground outside the ring after the match. He looks like death. They drive a forklift-looking vehicle to the ring, agents are out including Dean Malenko and Mike Rotunda and they help lift Undertaker onto the vehicle as they drive him out and fade to black.
Good luck following that match.
6-Person Mixed Tag Team Match
Trish Stratus, Snooki & John Morrison vs. LayCool & Dolph Ziggler
Thankfully, this was kept short. Snooki did the old Chyna cartwheel into an elbow spot in the corner on McCool, then did another cartwheel into a standing splash for the pin in 3:08.
They announced a new all-time GeorgiaDome attendance record of 71,617.
WWE Championship Match
– The Miz (c) vs. John Cena
Great promo packages for each man. Cena had this big, elaborate entrance with a live church choir singing and they were promptly booed once they were done singing. Cena is now wearing a new red shirt, thus reinforcing the Fruity Pebble stereotype. Match starts and has shockingly little heat. Part of it I think is the acoustics of a dome show, but the crowd is just not into this match. They had a great near fall where Miz accidentally hit Alex Riley with his briefcase and Cena gave Miz an awesome Attitude Adjustment, but only scored a two count. They fought to the outside and both men spilled over the barrier into the crowd where they were counted out for a draw in 14:30.
At this point, Rock came out and the GM chimed in again. Rock went to read the announcement, but trashed the laptop instead and said there’s no way WrestleMania is ending this way. He restarted the match as a no DQ, no count out affair. Cena immediately brought Miz into the ring and went for an Attitude Adjustment, but Miz slipped out and Rock snuck up from behind Cena, giving him a Rockbottom. Miz then crawled on top of Cena and scored the pinfall to retain the WWE Title (for the second time tonight). After staring down Miz a bit, Rock got into the ring and beat up Miz, giving him a spinebuster and a People’s Elbow to end the show.
— John Morrison announced today that he is debuting a ‘new look’ tonight at WrestleMania XXVII.
WWE posted a video of Morrison showing off a pair of bedazzled pants.
“Sports entertainment is all about evolution,” he said. “You’ve got to evolve, constantly keep yourself fresh, and I think this is one of the ways I’m going to do that.”
— WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart said yesterday on Hillbilly Jim’s “Moonshine Matinee” show on SIRIUS that actor Jim Carrey would be attending WrestleMania XXVII.
— TNA Wrestling talent Tommy Dreamer and former WWE star Ernest Miller were among those visiting the WWE crew at their hotel this weekend.
— Former WWE talent Scott Hall announced last week that he would not be on hand for this weekend’s WrestleMania XXVII festivities in Atlanta, Georgia because the atmosphere would be detrimental to his quest to stay sober. CM Punk took to Twitter to praise Hall for his efforts.
“Is it true that Scott Hall didn’t attend the HOF due to it being a situation that threatened his sobriety?” he wrote last night. “If so this needs to be commended.”
— WWE.com has posted a brief video of Daniel Bryan giving his thoughts on competing in his first match at WrestleMania. He considers it a milestone as it’s always been a dream of his to compete at the event.
— Yoshi Tatsu beat Justin Gabriel in a singles bout during last night’s WrestleMania Axxess session.

At noon Central time, he tweeted, “Go to corner of Northside and Ivan Allen – Exxon gas station. Go to the entrance door and shout “I Bring It”.. I’ll see you and come out..”
Within minutes he was swarmed by fans. He posted a photo of himself with the lucky winners here.
— Former WWE Women’s Champion Lita appeared at yesterday’s WrestleMania Axxess session on behalf of Project 9-6-1, an Atlanta based radio station. According to a fan who met her, she didn’t appear too happy to be there — unlike the other stars who appeared.
“She was clearly not happy about being there,” a fan who met her wrote. “While she smiled for pictures you could just tell she was ready to get out. When it was my turn I asked her if she missed this and she said ‘not really.”
TLC — Torrie Wilson, Lilian Garcia and Candice Michelle — have teamed up with AfterBuzzTV.com to host a live aftershow on WWE’s Tough Enough.
The show will stream live every Monday night immediately following Tough Enough on the USA Network at ustream.tv/afterbuzztv. The first episode will stream live tomorrow night at midnight ET/9 PT before moving to its regular time slot of 11:15/8:15 the following Monday.
The show will feature guests on a weekly basis. “Hardcore Original” Tommy Dreamer is scheduled to appear on Monday’s show.
Exclusive Photos of HBK Diving Over Table To Surprise HHH!
Famed wrestling photographer Bob Mulrenin was in the right place at the right time as HBK Shawn Michaels dove
over HHH’s autograph table just to surprise “The Game” during Wrestlemania Fan AXXESS.
It was a surreal moment, in which HBK had a camera crew following him around, and HHH (who as everyone knows is WWE Chairman Vince McMahon’s son-in-law) was distracted by a fan.
That’s when Shawn made his move, and dove over the table, which got a huge standing ovation from the people on hand.
Exclusive: Jim Ross, Michael Cole, and Jerry Lawler’s assigned matches tonight!
SE Scoops is the first to report Jim Ross will call the final four matches at Wrestlemania tonight.
As of the 2pm eastern time script, JR will call the Jerry Lawler vs Michael Cole match; the Undertaker vs HHH match; the 8-man tag team match; and the show-closing Cena vs Miz (with Rock involvement) WWE Title Match.
Josh Matthews is scheduled to be the host of the show, along with Cole and Lawler, who are (as of this hour) scheduled to host the show until they step into the ring.
— Layla and Michelle McCool’s speech inducting Sunny into the WWE Hall of Fame received unfavorable reviews from a number of attendees as it was conducted in character. Raw Superstar John Morrison compared their speech to Jersey Shore star The Situation’s universally panned speech during last month’s Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump.
“Lay-Cool’s induction speech at Hall of Fame = the Situation at the Trump roast,” he wrote.
— The Miz says appearing at WrestleMania XXVII is a ‘dream come true’.
“This really is a dream come true,” the WWE Champion told the Toronto Sun in an interview. “As a kid, I watched Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant. It was larger than life. And now, I’m on that same stage.”
He has his sights set high.
“I always say you’re only as good as your last time on TV. If I have an off-day, that’s not good. With wrestlers like (Hogan, Triple H, Flair and Michaels), they didn’t have off-days. I just can’t remember them flubbing anything. All I remember is their iconic status.”
— Following Vladimir Kozlov’s victory over Tyler Reks yesterday at WrestleMania Axxess, The Corre attacked the Raw Superstar. The faction used the steel steps to crush The Moscow Mauler’s shoulder against the ring post.
Via WWE.com, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long announced that – as a result of the assault – Kozlov would not be able to compete in the Eight-Man Tag Team Match at WrestleMania XXVII. Instead, Kofi Kingston will assume his position.
— Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be personally giving away free tickets to WrestleMania XXVII. He posted a clue last night on Twitter for fans to be around the Georgia Dome today at noon. He will be releasing more clues in the morning.
— Mark Henry beat Primo this morning at WrestleMania Axxess.
Former WWE Champion Ultimate Warrior revealed on his official website last week that he is working on a book documenting his career.
“Been pulling out and putting together all the files and materials of work that I’ve done on and off for years,” he wrote. “I’ve got some notebooks of writing that go back to the early ’90’s and, of course, as I’ve said before, I’ve always kept journals. It’s time. Many things had to still play out before it was time for me tell my story. Now, they have.
“Everybody in this business who had something to say (at least, for the sake of a quick buck, they thought so) has gone on the record, about themselves — and me and my career. Most of them talking smack and telling lies.
“Now, it’s my turn to tell the truth.
“I’ll keep you posted on things as they progress.”
Speaking of books, former WWE and WCW talent Marc Mero released one under the radar last November. He released a motivational book entitled “How to be the Happiest Person on the Planet.”
— WWE conducted an injury angle yesterday morning at WrestleMania Axxess which would likely affect the Eight-Man Tag Team Match at WrestleMania XXVII featuring Big Show, Kane, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Corre. Following Kozlov’s victory over Tyler Reks, The Corre attacked the Raw Superstar. The faction used the steel steps to crush The Moscow Mauler’s shoulder against the ring post.
In an update on his condition, the official Twitter account of WWE Magazine tweeted the following: “We haven’t heard any more definitive news on Kozlov, but it looks like he’s gonna be out of action tonight…”
— During his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame last night, Drew Carey said how much he respected the WWE performers. According to sources within the organization, he was very respectful and complimentary to everyone. He went out of his way to introduce himself to everyone and appeared knowledgeable about the wrestlers.
— Shane McMahon is not in Atlanta. Linda McMahon, however, is. She was on hand for yesterday’s WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony. She also made an appearance at WrestleMania Axxess.
Below are comments from several WWE Superstars and Legends about the 2011 Hall of Fame ceremony last night in Atlanta:
Shawn Michaels: “At the Philips Arena w/all the fellow inductees telling stories. AWESOME!!!”
Diamond Dallas Page: “It was a very Emotional HOF Triple H and Michaels Awesome Dusty LOD and Ditto Bullet Bob Road Dog Double Diitto”

“HOF was fun. Full house @ Phillips Arena. Congrats to all & welcome to our little club. Humbled to be a member since 07.”
— As of late last night, plans call for the annual Battle Royal to take place during the WrestleMania XXVII pay-per-view broadcast.
The United States Championship Match between Sheamus and Daniel Bryan is also still slated for the broadcast. It’s been speculated that it could be pulled from the show due to time constraints.
— Drew Carey, who was heavily heckled during his WWE Hall of Fame Induction, says the jeers don’t bother him.
“Didn’t bother me at all,” he replied to a fan on Twitter commenting on the jeers. “Fans have got to have their say, good or bad. Unconditional love to all at the WWE event.”
He added, “Heartfelt thanks to the WWE for letting me in to the celebrity wing of their HOF. Many blessings to all of you.”
