AEW Fyter Fest Viewership On B/R Live

AEW's Fyter Fest averaged 140,000 viewers on B/R Live.

AEW’s Fighter Fest drew an average of 140,000 viewers on the B/R Live streaming service. Over 350,000 viewers tuned in at some point during the broadcast. The promotion’s streaming numbers was covered in a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

“The show was considered a success on BR Live. The three-and-a-half hour broadcast averaged 140,000 viewers if you were to figure it like a television show,” wrote Dave Meltzer. “There were a total of 350,000 different viewers during the course of the live show and those numbers likely increased significantly with replay viewing.”

What isn’t known, however, is how many of those viewers were new sign-ups to the service. B/R Live was hoping the show would net as many as 100,000 new sign-ups.

AEW PPV and Streaming Numbers

The Double or Nothing PPV from Las Vegas is said to have garnered approximately 100,000 buys split between PPV and streaming.

“With replay buys, it should easily top ECW’s biggest-ever show (99,000) and be the biggest PPV in pro wrestling history that wasn’t produced by WWE or WCW,” wrote Dave Meltzer in regards to Double or Nothing’s numbers. “It also soundly beat the last UFC digital-exclusive events, and wasn’t far behind the previous show.”
