AEW Fight For The Fallen 2019
AEW Fight For The Fallen goes down LIVE from Jacksonville, FL. (7/13)

Alright fans, the time has come! All Elite Wrestling returns with the third event under the AEW promotional banner, as they present AEW Fight For The Fallen tonight from Daily’s Place Amphitheater at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida.

It’s worth noting that tonight’s show is not only jam-packed with a line-up consisting of action-filled matches and entertaining segments, but that the reason behind the event in the first place is one that deserves a proper amount of attention.

AEW Event In Jacksonville For Good Cause

The proceeds from the gate for AEW Fight For The Fallen will benefit Jacksonville’s Victim Assistance Advisory Council (VAAC).

The Mayor’s Victim Assistance Advisory Council (VAAC) coordinates and encourages cooperative efforts among social service, criminal justice, mental health and other agencies to provide assistance to crime victims and their families.

The Council is composed of a chair and 26 members appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Members serve terms of three years each.

The 27 members represent a cross-section of representatives of community mental health, social services, criminal justice, education, the medical profession, crime victims and their advocates, and members of the general public.

“Last year Jacksonville endured a horrible mass shooting at the Jacksonville Landing, and the VAAC was a tremendous support for the community,” said Tony Khan, AEW President, who also spoke with First Coast News for a 20-minute sit-down interview ahead of tonight’s AEW Fight For The Fallen event in Jacksonville (Watch Video Below).

“When we decided to host Fight for the Fallen, there was no question that AEW would stage the event here in Jacksonville and would give back to the organization that helped so many people during that incredibly tragic time.”

“We are extremely grateful to All Elite Wrestling and the ‘Fight for the Fallen’ event for this generous donation,” said Lenny Curry, Jacksonville Mayor.

“Making sure victims of violent crimes and their families have the support they need at one of the toughest times in their lives is a top priority for me. This donation is crucial in helping continue our efforts and providing victim assistance services when it is truly needed the most.”

“Farah & Farah” AEW ‘FFTF’ Presenting Sponsor

Serving as the Presenting Sponsor for AEW Fight For The Fallen will be longtime Florida / Georgia-based personal injury law firm, Farah & Farah.

The firm has been around for over 40 years and is featured regularly on local commercials at almost any given time of the day on any given channel.

As noted in the AEW announcement of Farah & Farah the Presenting Sponsor for AEW Fight For The Fallen, the integrated sponsorship with the law firm will include a number of cross-promotional efforts.

Among them are cross-promotional activities with AEW talent, customized co-branded graphics, signage on the ring apron / in-venue, as well as a number of various digital and social media efforts.

“We have a moral obligation to give back to the communities in which we live,” said Eddie Farah, Managing Partner of Farah & Farah (@FarahAndFarah).

“The fact that a mass shooting occurred here in Jacksonville just a few blocks from our office last year makes that moral obligation even stronger.”

Eddie continued, “We make it our mission to help protect injured people and their families, and supporting AEW’s Fight for the Fallen is one of the ways we actively live out that mission.

“When we saw that the proceeds of this event would be used to support victims of crime and their families – connecting them with crucial supportive services – we had to be part of this.”

“Eddie Farah started the firm in Jacksonville 40 years ago, and has been giving back to the community ever since,” said Tony Khan, President and CEO of All Elite Wrestling.

“Everyone at AEW cares deeply about the vibrancy and safety of Jacksonville, and we think that Farah & Farah is the perfect presenting sponsor of Fight for the Fallen as we all endeavor to raise money for the Victim Assistance Advisory Council.”
