Costco Guys Victorious on AEW Full Gear 2024 Zero Hour Pre-Show: AJ Brings the BOOM!
Big Boom AJ of the Costco Guys managed to secure the big win on (not-quite) PPV against QT Marshall on the Zero Hour Pre Show for AEW Full Gear. Paul Wight on commentary and the Rizzler as special guest timekeeper.
The match began with Marshall controlling and showing off, until AJ turned things around with a powerslam attempt and sent Marshall to the outside. After some back-and-forth action including a DDT from Marshall and a belly-to-belly suplex from AJ, the match intensified.
A key moment came when QT tried to interfere with the Rizzler at ringside, but Paul Wight intervened. When Aaron Solow attempted to interfere from the turnbuckle, he was thwarted by AJ. Big Justice then entered the ring and hit Marshall with a spear, setting up AJ to win the match with a Tenryu Powerbomb. After the match, AJ, Big Justice and The Rizzler celebrated their win.
AJ was an independent wrestler around 20 years ago, and with the viral sensation of his family over the past few months this match was put together to help build the PPV. Credit to AJ and Big Justice, they’ve been pushing this show for weeks on national television and on social media.
