AEW announced on the latest episode of Dynamite that their World Champion Chris Jericho will be defending his title in a singles match at next Wednesday’s episode of the show.
This week’s episode of the show saw Chris Jericho coming out with fellow Inner Circle member Jake Hager and he announced that he will be having a “Chris Jericho’s Thanksgiving Thank You Celebration” on next week’s episode of the show.
However, he was interrupted by Scorpio Sky and the rest of the SCU. Sky reminded the Champion how he pinned him during a tag team match at last week’s episode of Dynamite, which was Jericho’s first loss in AEW.
The trio then managed to get Chris to agree to a singles match against Scorpio for next week with the former WWE star putting his world title on the line:
The segment ended with a brawl between SCU and Inner Circle Members with Michael Nakazawa, Brandon Cutler, and Jurassic Express making the save for SCU.
Though this is not the only match announced for the show and the company has also confirmed that Kenny Omega will face Pac in an All Out rematch on Dymaite next week.
On the other hand, MJF will compete against Adam Page with the winner receiving the AEW Diamond Ring on next week’s episode of the show.
