Entertainment/wrestling reporter Chris Van Vliet is the latest person to sign with AEW (All Elite Wrestling). He made the news known on Monday afternoon in a post on his official Instagram account.
Van Vliet has signed a deal that will see him officially start with the company in October for their first show on TNT. Thus, that means that he won’t be working the All Out pay-per-view event.
He noted in his post that he’ll continue to work as host of AEW’s digital programs and interviewer at shows. You can read his announcement here:

Van Vliet, who recently did some work for AEW’s YouTube channel in a Control Center segment to hype All Out, was known up to this point for his wrestling interviews.Â
Before signing with the promotion, he attended all of their shows and took part in the media scrums with other outlets while asking questions to top stars in the promotion.
This included executives as well such as Tony Khan, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Brandi Rhodes.
Van Vliet has interviewed some of the biggest stars in pro wrestling on his YouTube channel such as The Rock, John Cena, Jim Ross, Chris Jericho, Seth Rollins, Goldberg, Jeff Hardy, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler among others.
