Jon Moxley Wins His AEW In-Ring Debut At Fyter Fest

Jon Moxley was able to pick up a win in his in-ring debut with AEW (All Elite Wrestling) on Saturday night when he beat Joey Janela in a non-sanctioned match at the Fyter Fest event that aired live on Bleacher Report Live.

Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose from his time in WWE, made his promotional debut at their inaugural pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Moxley will be wrestling former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega in one of the top matches taking place at the AEW All Out pay-per-view event that takes place on Saturday, August 31st at the Sears Centre in Chicago, IL, which has already sold out.

Moxley departed from WWE at the end of April as he decided not to sign a new contract with the company. He finished up with WWE when he wrestled at The Shield: Final Chapter event that aired on the WWE Network from a live event at the Tax Slayer Center in Moline, Illinois.

Moxley has also been working in New Japan Pro Wrestling as he beat Juice Robinson for the IWGP US Championship at the NJPW Best of the Super Jr. Finals event on June 5 at Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
