Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho Set For AEW Double Or Nothing

Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega are going to meet in the ring at All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing event.

The promotion’s official Twitter account announced on Sunday night that Omega vs. Jericho has been signed for Double Or Nothing on May 25th in Las Vegas.

The match was also confirmed on the recently released episode 138 of Being The Elite.

The two met in the ring for the first time in 2017 when Omega was the victim of Jericho’s attack at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Power Struggle event.

This added momentum to their set match at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in 4 January 2018 where Omega defeated Jericho in a No Disqualification match and retained the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter awarded the match a five-star rating.

At the All In event in September last year, Chris Jericho who disguised himself as Pentagon Jr. again attacked Kenny Omega with two Codebreakers.

Chris Jericho was announced as part of AEW at the 8 January rally in Jacksonville, Florida.

Meanwhile Kenny Omega made it official that he has joined the promotion at the Double or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party on Feb 7.
