Former WWE Superstar Ricochet is expected to debut for AEW imminently. The former Intercontinental champion was abruptly written off television in June. By the end of the month, it was rumored that he and WWE failed to agree on a new contract, and he’d soon be a free agent for the first time since 2018. Amid speculation about his next move, AEW President Tony Khan added to the hype by praising Ricochet as, “one of the most exciting stars in all of wrestling.”
Ricochet has reached a multi-year agreement to join All Elite Wrestling, according to Fightful Select. The 35-year-old high-flyer is on his way to London, and is expected to have a role at Sunday’s AEW All In pay-per-view.
Wembley Stadium is a grand stage to debut, and the Casino Gauntlet match just got even more interesting, as it often includes surprise appearances. Ricochet lost the WWE Speed championship to Andrade in his final match.
