Tony Khan took part in a post-Fight for the Fallen media scrum last night. He spoke about what AEW on TNT will look like, signing new talent, and how South Park inspired the look of Fight for the Fallen.
Khan was asked about the unique look the stage had at Daily’s Place for the show last night. He then mentioned the look had been inspired by an episode of South Park.
“Who has seen the wrestling episode of South Park?” Khan asked the media in attendance.

“My thought is with an amphitheater the challenge is where do you put the ring and how do you present to the crowd and to me what’s great about it is you put the ring in the pit you open up so many possibilities for what you can do with the staging.”
Khan mentioned that the type of open-air amphitheatre venue could be used in the future.
“It opens up a lot of venues but obviously this is like our home venue.”
