All Elite Wrestling has added Tony Shiavone to their roster of commentators. Shiavone had previously appeared in AEW YouTube videos but was not officially part of the company until recently.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, Shiavone and AEW have reached an agreement and according to PW Insider, the deal will allow him to continue in his role with MLW as well.

Tony Shiavone Broadcasting Career
Shiavone began his pro-wrestling broadcast career in 1983 with Jim Crockett promotions. He would stay with the company until signing with WWE from 1989-1990 where he was the main play by play guy for SummerSlam 89 and Royal Rumble 90. After leaving WWE in 1990, he would begin an 11-year stint with WCW where he would become the voice of the promotion during its peak of popularity.
After wrestling, Shiavone began a minor league baseball broadcasting career which continues to this day. He made his return to pro-wrestling with MLW in 2017 and also as host of “What Happened When?” along with Conrad Thompson.
Shiavone also works as commentator for the Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network.
