UFC newcomer Mitch Gagnon will step up on semi-short notice to challenge Ultimate Fighter 14 veteran Johnny Bedford at the second UFC On FOX show.
Bedford, who was knocked out of the TUF 14 tournament by who would become the eventual tournament victory, John Dodson, was originally scheduled to fight Eddie Wineland on the card.
The Gagnon-Bedford bantamweight fight will serve as a preliminary bout for the UFC On FOX 2 card.
UFC On FOX 2 is scheduled to emanate from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on January 28. At this point, the televised portion of the event will feature Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis, Chael Sonnen vs. Mark Munoz and Michael Bisping vs. Demian Maia.
