“Gearl Hebner” Aubrey Edwards announced through her social media channels yesterday that she has signed a full-time contract as a referee with AEW. Edwards officiated the main event from Saturday’s All Out show between Chris Jericho and Adam “Hangman” Page.

She posted the following to announce her signing with AEW:

“I can’t thank @AEWrestling enough for the opportunities they’ve already given me. I have never been happier. Matt, Nick, Cody, Brandi, Kenny, Tony, everybody…they are all the most wonderful people! See you in DC on October 2nd on @AEWonTNT <3,” a subsequent Tweet read.

It was announced during Saturday’s broadcast that Edwards is now the first woman to ever have refereed a world title match between two men.

Britt Baker Thanks Aubrey Edwards

Edwards received some public praise from wrestler/dentist Britt Baker following Fight for the Fallen earlier this summer. Baker suffered a concussion during her match on the preshow and then praised Edwards for helping her after.

Hangman Page responded to a Tweet which featured a photo of Edwards after a rather dramatic 2-count:
