Breaking news today – as UFC legend Quentin “Rampage” Jackson has signed with the Bellator MMA promotion.
According to sources close to the situation, Rampage’s deal with Bellator is similar to that of “King” Muhammed Lawal, which gives him the opportunity to appear on TNA Impact Wrestling programming on Spike TV.
Rampage has openly stated that he’s interested in a pro wrestling career – which would allow him to showcase both his athleticism as well as his charisma and showmanship. He tweeted on Monday night that he had “Big news coming real soon.” Bellator has not yet confirmed when his first fight will be, but it will likely take place in the fall.
The 34-year-old Jackson is a 14-year MMA veteran (32-11) and is a former UFC Light Heavyweight champion.
