Multiple reports have surfaced that UFC bantamweight contender, Cole Escovedo, has been cut from the active talent roster.
Escovedo initially broke the news on his official Twitter account, tweeting this past Friday: “Back up the ladder of life, I look again.” The now former UFC bantamweight prospect continued, “Thanks to UFC and Dana White for this chance and THANK YOU Sean Shelby for making that phone call.”
Escovedo tweeted later that day, further elaborating on the subject, stating: “Yes, if you didn’t get what happened by that vague tweet, I have officially been cut from the UFC roster.”
Fans of Cole can rest assured that he has not lost his humor as he posted a third tweet, which read: “So much for being on Fear Factor now ;-(”
