In the days following former Batista’s announcement that he’s becoming an MMA fighter, UFC Heavyweight champion and former fellow WWE superstar Brock Lesnar is weighing in on the story. Sort of.
In an interview with MMAFighting.com to promote his 7/3 fight against Shane Carwin, Lesnar was asked about Batista telling TMZ that he will be fighting for the Strikeforc MMA promotion and has a fight lined up already. Lesnar responded:
“Get in line, everybody and their dog wants to get into fighting. Next question. We’re talking about a heavyweight championship fight, not some wannabe.”
