With their ultimate intent being to create developmental systems worldwide that can then feed into their main roster programming, WWE have continued their global expansion efforts, launching new iterations of their NXT brand globally. The first of these was WWE NXT UK.
One thing these international versions lacked compared to Florida, however, was an equivalent to their beautiful state-of-the-art Performance Center.
This morning on British morning television, the WWE NXT UK team of British Strong Style (NXT UK Champion, Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, Trent Seven) appeared on the show, Good Morning Britain, and officially announced that the UK now has one to call their own.
The trio was there in order to speak about this Saturday’s upcoming NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool event.
When speaking on the upcoming show, one of GMB’s hosts likened WWE’s UK effort as a set-up “training camp” for the UK. Seven then divulged that NXT UK now has their own PC, stating, “[…] we’re going to be able to go straight from here to our secret location, our new NXT UK Performance Center just after this.”
“The fact that we get to go back, the fact that we’ve had this investment, […] it’s pretty exciting,” Seven said.
