– Punk Goes Off-Script: I was able to confirm that CM Punk’s line where he referenced Vince McMahon naming Drew McIntyre “The Chosen One” was improvised.

– The Man’s Contract: Becky Lynch confirmed to Ariel Helwani that her WWE contract is up in two months. She doesn’t seem too worried about the situation.
– Austin 3:16 at WM 40: WWE has been in talks with Steve Austin for some kind of WrestleMania 40 appearance.

– New WWE Championship: Corey Graves confirmed that WWE Speed will introduce a new championship for the company’s new social media show.
– Drew McIntyre’s WWE Deal: McIntyre’s WWE contract is still running up sometime after WrestleMania 40.
– Hogan is Mania (Maybe): WWE is talking about bringing Hulk Hogan in for WrestleMania 40. It wasn’t noted what role they’re discussing for him.
AEW:
– Tony Hawk is All Elite: Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk appeared on AEW Dynamite this week alongside Darby Allin. They were there to plug a charity that he’s involved with that builds skate parks.
– Adding to Dynasty: AEW added Willow Nightingale vs Julia Hart for the TBS Title and Swerve Strickland vs Samoa Joe for the AEW Title to the Dynasty card on April 21.
– Proud n Powerful: Mike Santana went into even more detail about why he and Ortiz broke up.
– Double or Nothing 2024: AEW announced during Dynamite that on Sunday, May 26, they will host Double or Nothing at the MGM Grand Garden Arena once again.
