Last night on 205 Live, a gauntlet match was held to determine a new number 1 contender for the Cruiserweight Championship.
Buddy Murphy had previously earned a title shot but later failed to make weight. 205 Live General Manager, Drake Maverick, then ordered a gauntlet match to determine who will challenge Cedric Alexander at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
The first two competitors in the match were Mustafa Ali, who lost to Alexander in the Cruiserweight Championship match at WrestleMania, and TJ Perkins, the winner of the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic, TJP.

- Mustafa Ali defeated TJP
- Drew Gulak defeated Mustafa Ali
- Drew Gulak defeated Tony Nese
- Kalisto defeated Drew Gulak
As a result of winning the gauntlet match, Kalisto will face Cruiserweight Champion, Cedric Alexander, this Friday at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
