Discussion: What Is Your Favorite Wrestlemania Moment?

boyhood dream

There have been countless memorable moments that have taken place at Wrestlemania throughout out the years. 30 years ago, Hulk Hogan Body Slammed Andre the Giant. It is a moment that wrestling fans of that generation will never forget.

8 years ago Shawn Michaels wrestled The Undertaker in an all-time classic match. The following year at Wrestlemania 26, the two did it again and Shawn Michaels called it a career. For fans of Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, the match between the two at Wrestlemania 25 will be something they always remember.

For younger fans, Daniel Bryan finally overcoming The Authority at Wrestlemania 30 is something they will never forget. Daniel Bryan defeated Triple H in the first match of Wrestlemania 30 and then went on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat match against Batista and Randy Orton. While the match might not have been anything memorable, the moment when Bryan won was incredible. Daniel Bryan connected with the WWE Universe in a way that I hadn’t seen since the days of the Attitude Era.

The Wrestlemania moment I will always remember was Bret Hart versus Stone Cold at Wrestlemania 13. I was almost 8 years old and I could barely comprehend what was going on. I just remember where I was when I watched that match and how I felt when the match was over. Bret Hart won the match, but Austin elected to pass out in a pool of his own blood rather than submit. I’ve since watched that match countless times.

There are tons of moments to choose from. When Shawn Michaels got his leg caught in the ropes during the ladder match between Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania X. When Owen Hart defeated Bret Hart at that same Wrestlemania. Some people believe that the match between Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and the Macho Man Randy Savage was the best Wrestlemania match at Wrestlemania III.
