John Morrison To Debut For GFW, Former TNA Champion Leaving

Former TNA World Champion already done with Global Force Wrestling

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former TNA Champion Nick “Magnus” Aldis already finished with Global Force Wrestling. Magnus was offered a contract by GFW but ultimately decided not to sign back with the company. Magnus was only at the last set of Impact TV tapings under a handshake deal so GFW could  “protect the lineage of GFW title” and then give it to Alberto El Patron.

Magnus signed with TNA in 2008 and then was one of the first talents to sign with Global Force Wrestling in 2015 when the promotion was announced by Jeff Jarrett. The report added that many of the GFW talent deals require performers to give Global Force Wrestling 10% of the revenue they earn outside of GFW. The new deals also gives them none of the profits earned from selling merchandise bearing their likeness sold directly by Global Force Wrestling.
